Drof: Ha! We've got the second chappie….And our victim is: Karasu!!

 

Karasu: ZZZzzzZZZzzz…*wakes up, glares at Drof, goes back to sleep.*

 

BHS: ….*shakes him. He is, by the way, a kitty right now.* YOU ARE LAZY!!!

 

Karasu: ZZZzzzZZZzzz…

 

BHS: *sighs…huggles kitty.* But you're so cuuuute! Anyway, we have a new event! See, you people get to vote on the next victim! But not through review. Drof, explain it.

Anyway, you do that, and then you email me with your name (your site-name, I mean) and tell me who your choice is from the anime characters and OCs available. *Some of you may have to ask for a list of my OCs and the shows they're for. Chapter 2: Next Victim

 

 

“Hey, Kara-chan!” BHS called.

 

“What?” the irate demon asked. He was sitting on the bed in the room, glaring in the general direction of the shower. He was, at the moment, dressed only in a pair of black pants, his shirt being non-existent.

 

“Come look at this,” the girl said. Karasu sighed and got up, walking over to BHS. “Don't act like I'm about to kill you, or something,” BHS chided when she noticed his resigned expression. “You look like you're about to be hanged. I just want you to take this little quiz.”

 

“Oh, ye gods,” Karasu groaned. “Why?”

 

“'Cause, it'll be fun.” After a few moments of looking at the girl like she was a deadly virus, Karasu finally sighed and muttered something that was either `Fine' or `Go f*ck yourself' without the asterisk. Either way, he sat down in front of the computer when BHS got up, and began reading the quiz questions.

 

“This is stupid,” he grumbled. BHS whacked him in the back of the head. “Ow!”

 

“Be nice,” she said severely, “and take the quiz, or you're sleeping in the hall.”

 

“Fine, fine,” he muttered unhappily.

“Haretenki decided to make a little money out of me when I was about twenty. From then on for about thirty years, he sold me,” Karasu told her, his quiet voice full of pain.

“What do you think?” the man asked her. He gave her a rather bitter smile. “Some of the people he sold me to where female, so it stands to reason that I have children other than Foxfire.”

“Kara-chan…” BHS said tenderly. She felt so helpless. There was nothing she could do to take away that pain in his eyes and his voice, nothing she could do to make him feel better. She hated the way that felt. The girl wrapped her arms around Karasu and laid her head on his chest, offering comfort as best as she could.

 

Wordlessly, the man put his arms around her and pulled her close.

 

“Thank you,” he whispered, too soft for her to hear.
