Chapter: 1

"Do we have to find the shrimp," asked Kuwabara?

"For the thousandth time, YES, now shut-up," yelled Yusuke at Kuwabara! Yusuke was thinking about the lecture Kayko would give him when he got back and it was putting in a bad mood. 'She's probable going to get that stupid frying pan out,' thought Yusuke as he mentally winced at the thought.

"We should be getting close," said Kurama.

"I'm tired," whined Kuwabara, Botan had come with a sleeping Yusuke to his house and told him he was wanted in Spirit world.

"Shut-up," said Yusuke.

"And hungry," continued Kuwabara ignoring Yusuke, "and I'm thirsty and I'm.....kitty."

"What," asked Yusuke as he looked at Kuwabara who was looking of in a different direction. 'He has lost it for sure this time,' thought Yusuke.

Yusuke followed Kuwabara's gaze to see non other than a little white cat.

"Kurama, your sane right, am I just seeing things or is that really a cat," asked Yusuke?

"That's really a cat," said Kurama as if he didn't believe it himself.

Kuwabara came out of his daze and ran over to the cat and started to meow.

"What does he think his doing," asked Yusuke?

Kurama just shrugged his shoulders.

To the surprise of all of us the cat launched its self right at Kuwabara who wasn't able to dodge and got a face full of fur.

"Haaaaaaaaaaa, get it off," yelled Kuwabara. He fell over backwards struggling to get the cat of.

The cat lightly jumped of Kuwabara. Then a blinding light came from the cat. When the light disappeared a girl with long white hair that had silver and gold strands in it, bright blue cat like eyes, and cat ears on her head, was standing over Kuwabara glaring at him.

"Don't hurt me," Kuwabara said as he put his arms in front of his face. Her eyes flashed a dangerous color as she asked, "Why did you just call me a 'big fat #$%$'?"

"Sorry, I thought I was saying hello," said Kuwabara. Then to our surprise a bright radiant smile came across her face and she smiled at Kuwabara, who blushed.

"Well since you are so nice I will forgive you and my name is Kitta Keyara nice to meet you," she said.

Kuwabara just blushed more.

"Are these your friends," asked Kitta pointing towards us.

"Yes," said Kuwabara.

"Hello, what's your name," Kitta asked in a nice innocent voice.

"I'm Yusuke and this is Kurama," said Yusuke pointing to the Kurama.

***Now with Hiei***

I was half way asleep when I felt the familiar ki of Yusuke and the gang. 'I wonder why they are here,' I thought as I got up and stood on the limb. 'I better go and see what they want,' thought Hiei as he jumped down out of the tree and headed in the direction of the ki.

***Back with the others***

"Kitta, where are you," came the voice of a boy from the forest.

"Over here, Rets" said Kitta as a boy walked out of the forest followed by another boy. The first had raven black hair like Yusuke's when it has no gel in it, and storm gray eyes. The other had mossy-green hair and green eyes that had some brown in them.

"Where have you been and who are they," asked the boy with black hair?

"I've been places, and this is Yusuke, Kurama, and Kuwabara," said Kitta.

"How did you know his name," asked Yusuke?

"That is the only thing he did say right in cat language," said Kitta.

Yusuke did an anime fall as Kurama shook his head.

"Oh and this is Rets," she pointed to the one with black hair, "and this is Yopemara or just Yop," said Kitta as she pointed to the one with green hair.

"Hey," said Yusuke as he and Rets shook hands they seemed to become friends immediately.

***With Hiei***

'Who's that, and why is Yusuke shaking hands with him,' thought Hiei as he jumped down out of the tree he was in and went up to where Yusuke was.

"Hiei there you are," said Yusuke.

"Hn," was all I said as I looked at the new group. There where two boys that where talking to Yusuke and Kurama while the other person, a girl, was off to the side talking to Kuwabara.

"Hey shrimp, you finally decided to show up," asked Kuwabara noticing me.

"Hn, baka," was all I said trying to ignore his big mouth. I turned around so that my back was facing him.

"What did you call me," asked/yelled Kuwabara!

"Who's he," asked the girl to Kuwabara, "His name really isn't Shrimp, is it?"

"No, but you can call him that," said Kuwabara.

"Quit flirting with your girlfriend," I said.

I felt a huge power shoot up as I said this. 'The baka couldn't be that strong,' I thought as I turned around to come face to face with the girl, and she didn't look too happy nether.

"Who the heck do you think you are," she asked in a dead cold voice?

"Hiei," I said, trying to keep a grin from going across my face, and keep my bored expression. She was so close I could easily see the flames flickering inside her eyes as she glared at me.

"If you're smart you will leave me and my friends alone," she said.

"Hn, the baka's your friend," I asked, this time the grin did come across my face, but before anyone else, besides her, or myself knew what was happening I was flying through the air with a red hand print on my face. I hit the ground hard and closed my eyes as my body slide along the ground.

Slowly I opened my eyes to see me friends at least fifty yards away and a ditch in front of me about twenty yards long. I felt the side of my face where the slap had landed and it felt bruised and surprisingly burn.

"Hiei, are you okay," asked Kurama concerned, while Kuwabara and Yusuke where busy laughing and congratulating the bitch of a girl.

I got up and walked over to where Yusuke and Kuwabara where and gave each a punch in the face. Then I walked over to Kurama, and glared at the bitch, and she glared back.

"Lets go," said Kurama as he opened the portal.

"Bye," said Kuwabara to the bitch!

"See-ya-latter," said Yusuke.

"Go to hell," said Hiei to Kitta but before Kitta could do anything Hiei had stepped through the portal and it had closed.

"What a bastard," said Rets.

Kitta was fuming at where Hiei had once stood only a minuet before.

"I know, come on Kitta scaring the grass to death is not going to get him back, now lets go, your sis and our mom will be worried about us if we don't go now," said Yop as he opened a portal also.

"Fine, but I'll get him back," said Kitta.

***With the others, Yusuke P.O.V (Point of View) ***

"What took you so long," yelled the toddler from his desk as we all pilled out of the portal and into his office.

"We had to find Hiei, and we ran into some demons," I said.

"Well, any way your new mission is to find a demon that is going around killing little kids and eating their souls. I want you to go to a daycare place and pretend to be helpers, and when the demon comes to kill the kids you attack him," said Keonma.

"Keonma you have thought of everything it seems like, but have you forgotten my criminal record? I don't think they will let me or Kuwabara help, and they will think that Hiei is a kid so how are we going to get in," I asked?

"Kurama will be one of the teachers, and you and Kuwabara will go in as kids doing community service, (AN: I had to ask my mom on that one) and Hiei will go in as a kid," said Keonma.

Hiei glared at Keonma who shrank in his chair.

"You have 30 min. till the preschool opens you better go change, and get something to eat," said Keonma.

"And you will have these communicators to talk back and forth on," said Botan cheerfully as she walking in handing everyone one.

"Well you better get going, Botan open a portal," said Keonma. Botan did as she was told and opened a portal then pushed us through with out another word.

'I hate my job,' I thought as I was pushed through the portal.
