The red haired boy stood with his friend outside of their lockers. Kurama listened as his friend named Hiei complained about all of the homework that their teachers had given them. Kurama had no problem wit it, because being top in his class, homework was as easy as walking. Hiei on the other hand knew no other grades than F's and D's. Kurama was about to respond to his friends complaint when all of a sudden he heard a commotion. A group of people was crowded around what seemed to be a new girl. Kurama was instantly drawn to this new person. When at the middle of the group he saw the girl.

 

His heart stopped.

 

She was beautiful.

 

No, she was not real, a goddess maybe.

 

Kurama watched as she smiled and spoke to everyone around. When her eyes and smile dropped on him, Kurama felt that he was weak in the knees.

 

“Hi,” She said. “What's your name?”

 

“K-K-K- Kurama.” His mouth felt dry. “What's your?”

 

“S-,” but she did not get to finish because the bell had rung.

 

“Sorry, Kurama, but I have to go now. See you later.”

 

Kurama watched as she walked away with a few people still following her.

 

“Good job K, you're really good with the ladies,” Hiei said coming up behind him and placing his hand on Kurama's shoulder. Kurama gathered his wits and told his friend in a way as simple that he could put it in his brain.

 

“I don't know who this girl is, Hiei, but I know I'm going to make her mine.”
