CHAPTER 1: DAYDREAMING IN CLASS
Kurama sat in his class and thought of the girl he had met in the hall. She was beautiful with crimson hair that shined so bright it probably made the sun look as if it was blushing; eyes, so light a blue that they probably couldn't be called that color, a lean, toned body, height of about 5”4 maybe 5”5, and a stretched oval shaped face.
Maybe Kurama was taking it too far in the way he described her.
Maybe not.
Probably not.
Most definitely not.
Not.
It was weird that this of all the girls was the one that attracted his attention. Sure, she was beautiful, gorgeous at that, but so were a lot of girls that he had met.
You, see, if you knew Kurama, you would understand why so many girls begged for his attention. If you don't know how he looks then I won't wasted my time telling you how B-B-B- beautiful he is.
But Kurama is a gentle and kind soul. He doesn't go for a girl because of her looks. Instead he looked for something special in her personality that caught his attention. All of the girls he had met were shallow and self-centered but this girl was sweet and kind and one-day going to have his children.
Wait a minute. He had just met her. She could be some blood-sucking demon from another planet here to take over the world
A beautiful blood-sucking demon at that.
Somewhere in the back of his mind he wouldn't mind letting her suck his blood.
But what really bothered him…
I mean really bothered him…
No, honestly, it bothered him really bad…
Was that he didn't get to hear her name.
All he knew was that it started with an S.
S. His all time new favorite letter.
If there weren't so many S letters in the world then maybe he might be able to guess it.
Kurama was so deep in thought about this girl's name that he didn't hear Hiei calling him.
“K, hey K, it's your dream girl walking in late.”
Kurama replayed what Hiei had said in his mind and then he looked up.
His heart stopped again. There she was, looking as marvelous as ever. The last time he had seen her in the hallway, Kurama hadn't noticed her outfit, but now that he did notice, he found that he liked it. She wore a pink shirt with white stripes on it that was a little too small and showed a hint of her flat stomach and some blue jeans that showed of her excellent figure.
He sucked in his breath at how good it looked. She explained to the teacher that she was late because she was new. The teacher accepted her excuse because he had never seen her before and…
God thank the heavens…
The world was on his side…
He would have given everything he owned to stay there…
The teacher told the girl to sit next to Kurama.
A flash of recognition flashed in the girl's eyes like she remembered Kurama's name. Almost like a reflex her eyes landed on him and K would have done everything in his power to stay in that spot.
She made her way to the back and sat next to him.
“Hi, you're K-K-Kurama,” she said with a hint of laughter in her voice. Kurama had to smile.
“My friends call me K. I'm shocked you remember me. I didn't catch your name because the bell had rung.”
Kurama held his breath while he waited for her to tell him her name.
“Oh, sorry, it's Shalla. Nice to meet you K.” She held out her hand to him
Kurama didn't know where his strength had come from to shake her hand but he knew he wasn't going to miss this chance to be close to her in any way. When his hand touched hers, static ran up his arm. He was certain she had felt it too because she jerked her hand back.
“Wow, some touch you got there. The chemistry between us must be strong.”
Kurama gulped as she said those words. He knew he wanted to be around this girl a lot though. He was about to ask her if she wanted to go out with him when their teachers voice rang all over the class an issued them an assignment with no talking whatsoever.
The class still had on hour left but K still knew the teacher would make them work until class was over so he'd have to wait to ask her if she wanted to go out with him. Kurama knew deep down inside though, that this time, he wouldn't let her get away.
