[ P - Pre-Teen ]

This is my first fanfic and I hope that you all enjoy it. I dont not own any of the yyh characters, but I do own Zinnia, Yoko(my hamster), Volaina, and the snake and dragon demons. The characters I own were created by me.

As a large boat sailed to the dock four boys watched from far away. "Do you guys feel that?" asked Kazuma.

"There's some kind of incredible power coming from that boat." said Yuske.

"It might be a demon so be ready for anything." said Kurama.

"I'll make whatever it is eat dirt!" said Hiei.

The boat's horn let out a loud snort and stopped at the dock and people started to get off board. People of all different shapes and sizes got off the boat. The last passenger to get off board was a teenage girl. She had long black hair, hazel eyes, and she was african american. On her head was a red bandana and tied around her waist was a sweater. She wore a red shirt and blue jeans that covered half of her shoes at the bottom. In her pocket popped out a tiny furry head, it had cute gray ears and hazel eyes. The hamster like creature squeaked. She looked down at it, smiled and patted its head.

"That power.........its coming from her!" said Kazuma.

"I refuse to believe that such enormous power is coming from that girl." said Hiei.

"Lets just hope that she's not evil." said Kurama.

"She looks harmless. There's nothing to worry about. Anyway we gotta get to Keiko's house for dinner. She'll be mad if we're late again." said Yuske.

The four boys quickly ran off and Hiei and Kazuma's arguing could he heard in the distance.

The teenage girl pushed a button on her watch and was transported to Koenma's office. Koenma was stamping papers as usual and didnt notice her come in. Ogres were running around the office with big stacks of paper. Papers were scattering everywhere!

"Um.....excuse me." she said quietly. Koenma didnt hear her and continued stamping.

"Excuse me." she said a little bit louder. Koenma was still stamping away.

"Excuse me!!!!!!." she said loudly. Koenma became startled and fell out of his chair and landed on his head.

"Um....Koenma sir I've arrived in Japan like you have ordered. I came all the way from America."

He stood up and rubbed his head then looked at her. "Oh Zinnia its you. You're on time. Thats good." said Koenma.

"How strong are the demons that have made their way into the Ningenkai?" she asked.

"I really dont know but thats why I'm teaming you up with a few of my other detectives just in case you might need help."

"You don't think that me and my spirit beast can pull it off?" she asked.

"I'ts not that its just that.......you might need help." said Koenma.

"Okay, but first let me go find the closest forest."

Koenma lifted an eyebrow."What for?" he asked.

"Well I need a place to stay and maybe I can find a cozy tree or a cave to live in." she replied.

"Oh, dont worry about that. I already have a place for you to stay." He held up a picture.

"This is Kazuma Kuwabara." He explained.

"I already talked to his sister Shizuru and she agreed to let you stay there until you finish your case.

"Just find Kuwabara and he'll take you to his house."

She nodded. "Yes, sir."she said.

He smiled." I wish my other detective Yuske was as respectful as you."

"Yuske? Who's that?" she asked.

"He's one of the detectives that'll help you on your case. You'll meet him sooner or later." With that she exited Koenma's office. Koenma went to sit back in his chair, missed it and fell back on the ground.
