"The leader of the demon army is Volaina, a dragon demon. She's a little older than me but Im not sure how strong she is. She's pure evil. And she wants revenge for the killing of Seiryuu the blue dragon one of the saint beasts. Some say that she loved him. Others say that they were close friends. But want she mainly wants is power and to over throw Koenma and his father. She says that she'll killed the murderer of Seiryuu."explained Zinnia.
This made Kazuma burst out laughing. Zinnia looked confused. "Shorty over here is the one who killed Seiryuu. Oh man, when Volaina finds out she's gonna come after you shrimp!"said Kazuma still laughing.
Hiei just said "hn." We dont want that to happen ........"said Kurama.
"Well, we better destroy that army of demons and kill Volaina before she finds out." said Yuske.
"It's not that simple. I've heard that many have tried to destroy her but all have failed and many lives have been lost. We have to be very carefu-" Zinnia quickly looked around and her eyes began to glow red. "Theres a group of demons near by.......I bet they're watching us.......I can smell the blood on them.....the blood from the people they have killed." Kazuma looked panicing and started running around screaming until he crashed into a tree and fell unconscious. Yuske started up his spirit gun, Kurama got out his rose whip, Hiei got drew his katana, and Kazuma layed on the ground still unconscious. He was motionless. Hiei kicked Kazuma in his side a couple times.
"Wake up you fool and get ready for battle!". Kazuma opened his eyes and slowly got on his feet and summoned his spirit sword.
Zinnia took a rose that was well hidden in her hair and shouted "Rose Blade!". The rose turned into a sword with vines wrapped around it with thorns and beautiful roses on it.
Kurama looked at her in shock. "You use plants for your attacks too?" he asked.
She smiled. "Yep." All 5 of them stood there waiting for something to happen. "Any kind of sudden sound or move can make them just leap out at you maybe if we're real quiet we can sneak away. The all started to walk away from the danger. Kazuma stupidly stepped on a twig and it broke with a very loud snap! Suddenly about 30 dragon and snake demons jumped from out of the trees! Zinnia charged at a dragon demon and rammed her sword through its chest and it came out of its back. Blood went running out of its body as the demon screamed in pain. Yuske fired his spirit gun at a dragon demon, it missed and the demon slashed him with its claws. Blood ran down Yuske's face. Kurama was slashing every demon in sight and dodging almost all of the attacks. Hiei was moving at the speed of light killing every demon with ease using his speed to attack and dodge. Kazuma was slicing heads off with his spirit sword, he sliced off a dragon demons tail but it quickly grew back and it slashed him with his tail. A bunch of demons were ganging up on Yuske. He stood there trying to either block or dodge the mighty blows. A snake demon crept up on him from behind and wrapped its scaly body around him and constricted him. Yuske was screaming in pain. Kurama's rose whip was bloody from killing demons but he continued his attacks. A demon used its claws to cut down a tree and it fell on Kurama leaving him in pain.
"Timber!" yelled a demon. Hiei glared at what was left of the dragon and snake demons and slowly counted in his head to see how many were left. He looked at Yuske who was still caught in the snake demons coils and Kurama who was under the tree. A snake demon slowly crept behind him and bit his leg. Hiei screamed in pain and fell on the ground. He turned his head to look at the snake demon.
"Why........you @#$%^&* I'm gonna @#$%^&* and @#$%^&*." A dragon demon snuck up on Kazuma from behind who was trying to lift the tree off of Kurama. "Watch out!" said Kurama. It was too late, the dragon demon pounced on him, followed by many others to hold him down. They started to bite him. Their fangs were sinking into his flesh. He screamed bloody murder. Zinnia looked at her friends all suffering.
"This is terrible...."she said. With every breath Yuske tried to make the snake demons constrict became tighter and tighter. The large, heavy tree was crushing Kurama's back breaking his bones. The poison from the snake demon's bite was spreading all over Hiei's body. Kazuma was trying to throw off the demons that were holding him down and biting him. They began to take bites out of his flesh, enjoying the taste of his blood. Yoko the hamster jumped out of Zinnia's pocket and started doing back flips and took out a hamster sized staff with thorns on it. Yoko started making karate yells and was ready to attack!
