Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ Around the world in 79 days ❯ first off... ( Chapter 1 )

Hi people! This is my first YuYuHakusho fanfic, so be more forgiving than to my others. Oh and I have a message for the people who read this. READ AND REVEIW!!! I WON'T UPDATE UNLESS YOU REVIEW!!! (Glares at random bishies)

Kurama: umm, Lbh? Please get on with this story and stop scaring people.

Hiei: hn

Yuusuke: Alright, who's the idiot who gave her sugar...Kuwabara?

Kuwabara: Hey don't look at me, I don't have a death wish!

Lbh: Hey I'm sick! So I'm not I the best of moods! Besides my mom cut down on my sugar intake.

Makari: (runs in) *pant, wheeze* Hello I'm *pant* here.

Lbh: good disclaimer time ^_^

Makari: Lil bishi hunter does not own YuYuHakusho but she does own the demons Guno and Sishi, Keiko's boyfriend, Kurushimu, oh and me. As well, she does not have anything against Mustard or Bologna.

Lbh: You always do a good job but next time, be on time. Kay? ^_^

Chapter 1: School

 

Yuusuke was sleeping on the school roof when the lunch bell rang.

 

“ Yeah, lunch I'm starved. Too bad I already ate my lunch. Oh well, I'll steal some off Hiei. He rarely eats his lunch anyway.” And with that he walked off the roof bypassing several girls who were too busy staring at Hiei and Kurama to notice him.

 

(On the grounds)

 

Kuwabara was sitting eating lunch with Hiei and Kurama under the oak tree around the back of the school. The reason they were there was because with the two demons walking around school, the girls all wanted a piece of them. This was they only place where they could quietly eat other than the roof. Yuusuke was the only demon not harassed by tons of girls. And the only reason for that is because of his previous infamously of a kick-butt attitude. But at the time, Kuwabara was warily eyeing his bologna and cheese sandwich.

 

“Aww man, Shizuru put mustard in my sandwich. I hate mustard.” He scowled. “ How do you guys get the stuff you like?”

 

Kurama answered “ We normally pack our own lunch. Only today Yukina packed our lunch and she asked us how we wanted it.”

 

Kuwabara gasped “ You guys get to eat with Yukina?! And why are you eating so fast?”

 

Hiei had been quietly eating his lunch when he looked up. He stopped and started bolting it as though King Yama himself was after him. Kurama just looked up and started to bolt his lunch as well. Kuwabara turned around in time to see his friend jump him and take his sandwich.

 

“ Hey! That's my sandwich!”

 

“ Hey Kuwa! I think that you forgot that they live with Yukina. And it's not your sandwich anymore.” Yuusuke said as he waived the sandwich in question in Kuwabara's face. He proceeded to take a bite out of it when he realized the meat. “ Yuck! Bologna!” and spit out the large bite. “I'd rather starve.” And threw it out.

 

“ Hey! I would have eaten that!” Shouted Kuwabara, covered in the chewed-up pieces of sandwich.

 

“Somehow, I doubt that. I tasted mustard and you hate mustard. Oh and I did notice that you two...” he said pointing at Hiei and Kurama. “ ...bolted your lunch as soon as you saw me coming.”

 

“Hey, we were hungry. And we needed to shut up Kuwabara somehow.” Answered Hiei.

 

Then Kurama said. “ Besides, I saw you eating your lunch earlier. You don't deserve my lunch. Oh, and Keiko wants a word with you on the subject of gym, as well as most of your other classes.”

 

“Oh well, I don't know why she bothers to even try to get me to do what she wants anymore. Ever since she ran off with that guy that she practically dots on, Kurushimu, we haven't really talked to each other. And I hate the teachers. The only reason I even come to school is because you guys are here.” Yawned Yuusuke as he settled down for a nap. But as his head touched the ground, he felt a something crash into his stomach so hard that he saw stars. He looked around to see his spirit animal, Poo, lying on the ground about three feet away from him. He struggled to get up again and waddled over to Yuusuke with a look of pain on his penguin like face. “Poo...poo.”

 

“Huh? What the hell is wrong with you?” with that, the school bell rang but Yuusuke had no interest to go to class. (A.N. like that's any different from normal but this time he has a legible reason) “You guys can go to class if you want but I want to take Poo to Baa-san's*. It feels like something happened and I want to find out what it is.”

 

Kurama and Hiei had no interest to go back to class once they got an excuse to leave. “Hey we'll go with you. This stuff is pointless to us anyway.”

 

Kuwabara objected to being left behind so they all left school early to go to Genkai's temple. On the way over, they tried to give Poo something to eat but he wouldn't. Yuusuke had to be pulled away from the restaurant in order not to eat everything on the menu. When the got there, Genkai came out of the temple with a worried look on her face. “Baa-san, what's wrong?” asked Yuusuke. Genkai answered slowly and carefully “The spirit world...has...disappeared.”

* Baa-san = Grandma but is what Yuusuke calls Genkai

Lbh: Dun Dun DUUNNNN! HA HAHAHAHA! Evil authoress strikes again! Cliffy! Sorry guys but this is the only way to keep you from ditching my story. Besides it's good for me to have a stop time at 3 am. I'm tired and am going away for the weekend. I'm still working on this story so there is no excuse for you guys not to review!

Everyone: Your going away?! Since when was this decided?

Lbh: last week, where were you guys when I was packing my suitcases?

Everyone: No clue

Makari: Where are Guno and Sishi? >_> <_<I thought they were in here to.

Lbh: They come in later.

Makari: So, who are you going to capture this time, Mistress?

Everyone else: (Bolts for door but gets stuck)

Lbh: I'll choose...Yuusuke!

Everyone else: (phew)

Yuusuke: NOOOOOOO! Why me?

Lbh: Because so I can take you along in a cage! That way, if I get bored, I still have you to torment!

Yuusuke: T_T

Kuwabara: Well then I'm coming too.

Everyone: (gasp)

Lbh: the more the merrier! ^_^

Makari: You guys get to see Kuwa and Yuusuke back again if you press the little button and review

Lbh: yeah, please tell my how much I'm great or how much I suck. ^_^
