Chapter 3: Game room grudges

`'Well, that was fine for a first day on the job'' said Reureann as she and the others came in the lounge. `'Well you did pretty well for your self for a girl fighter'' said Yusuke. `'And what's that supposed to mean?'' asked Botan, Reureann, and Keiko in unison.

`'Nothing, nothing, I was just saying that I haven't seen a girl fight that well''! Exclaimed Yusuke waving his hands in his face. Reureann gave out a sigh of relief, but not Botan and Keiko. `'Oh so you think we cant fight as well as you guys?'' asked Keiko cracking her knuckles. `'I think that's exactly what he's saying Keiko'' said Botan getting her bat.

`'Wait Keiko, Botan!'' shouted Yusuke. But it was to late, the two girls were hitting him and beating him, shouting `'I'll show you who's tough''! ``Um shouldn't we help him?'' asked Reureann. `'Well he usually get's this kind of torture often'' stated Kurama. `'Hey lets leave him here and go to the game room!'' suggested Kuwabara. They all nodded and went out of the lounge.

Kuwabara, Kurama, Reureann, and Hiei. Were walking down the hallway until they reached a door. Hiei opened it and turned on the lights. Reureann gasped. `'My god, this is large'' she exclaimed observing the pool table.

`'How about I verse you in pool, it's funner and easier'' she suggested with a smile to Kuwabara. `'Um.Yeah I think that would be better'' replied Kuwabara with a goofy look. `'This should be interesting'' said Kurama sitting down near the pool table. `'Yes, to see Kuwabara get beaten at his own game twice is something worth seeing'' agreed Hiei, doing the same.

`'Wacth it Hiei'' growled Kuwabara as he was getting a pool stick. Reureann began to set up the balls by order, as though she were a pro. `'Whoa, how the hell do you do that?'' asked Kuwabara gawking. `'Well it's quiet simple, I can say it in 3 words, numbers and colors'' she replied putting chock on the end of her stick. Their audience giggled.

`'You wanna break or what?'' he asked trying to change the subject. `'Idiot's first'' she replied. `'Oh and if your wondering that's 2 words if you cannot comprehend that'' she added. Hiei and Kurama burst out laughing.

`'Yeah, yeah, I'll be sayin that soon'' he said getting in position to aim the ball. He hit it pretty hard and knocked in 4 solid balls. `'Hah! Beat that ms. High and mighty!'' proclaimed Kuwabara.

`'Gladly'' she replied. She got in position to hit the ball and hit it hard as well, but not as shakily. She knocked in 4-stripped balls! `'Well I believe that I'm going to give my turn to you, considering that you are going to need it'' she said calmly smiling. Kuwabara growled.

`'I'll show you' you little-`' he began but he was cut off. `'Tsk, tsk tsk, do you not remember what happened the last time you got feisty with me?'' she asked with a smirk. `'Who could forget that?'' muttered Kurama.

Kuwabara didn't respond. He just got in position to hit again. He pinned the ball to 3 solids and placed in 1, but accidentally knocked a stripped ball in as well. `'Oh, your to kind'' she said chuckling. `'She really does have a sense of humor'' complemented Hiei. `'Well she can really lighten the place up in my opinion'' said Kurama.

`'I believe it's my turn'' she said getting ready to hit. She let out he stick and hit the ball and knocked in 3 stripped one's. She hit again, sense she had gotten a ball in and was about to hit on in when Kuwabara `' accidentally'' hit her stick. She gave him a death glare. `'What?'' he asked with a smirk. `'What a sore loser'' stated Hiei. `'I have to admit, that was not very fair'' added Kurama.

`'Oh, *I believe it's my turn*'' mocked Kuwabara in a female voice. He got in position to shoot the ball and focused. He had to call a combo, so he got ready and said, `'Combo hit'' He hit the ball and it was aiming for the solid ball but then, it slanted the wrong way and hit the 8 ball into the pocket.

He was growling. `'Oh well I guess you were literally behind the eight ball! I guess cheaters really do never win'' she said with a smirk because of her triumph. Hiei and Kurama chuckled.

Just then the doors opened to have a very bruised Yusuke and with Keiko, Botan, and Shizuru. `'Hey guys, what just happened?'' asked Yusuke. `'I won over Kuwabara in a game of pool'' she exclaimed. ``Hah, lost again buddy?'' asked Yusuke. `'Why is it that every one's gangin up on me today?'' asked Kuwabara.

`'I call a game of fuse ball, us against you guys, up for it?'' asked Shizuru. `'Sure'' they all replied. They went to the fuse ball table and picked positioned to be played. Kurama and Reureann chose offence, Kuwabara and Shizuru chose defense, ad Yusuke chose second defense, and Hiei and Botan chose goalie. `'Alright what do ya call?'' asked Shizuru holding up a coin. `'Tails'' replied Yusuke. She flipped it and it landed on heads.

`'That's our ball'' proclaimed Botan. Reureann took the ball and inserted it through the slot, and then the game started. Reureann hit the ball hard into Kuwabara's defense, but Hiei saved it and hit it to Keiko's second defense. I t was about to go in the goal until Botan hit it with all of her might. `'Damn it!'' all the boys said in unison.

All the girls giggled. `'Cant touch this!'' said Keiko as she hit the ball to the boys goalie and scored a goal. ``That's 2 points!'' said Reureann as they all slapped each other high fives. `' Hiei!'' they the tree boys shouted in unison. Hiei just shrugged. (Poor him ^_ ^) The game continued on for a while until the scores were met at 9 to 9. Reureann was holding the ball. ``It all comes down to this'' she said. `'Yes, to see who's the best'' added Kurama. She nodded. Just then Reureann placed the ball in the slot and when the ball went out, she took the advantage. She hit it hard, right into the defense. But Yusuke hit it back to Keiko's defense. Pretty soon they were in a war.

`'Hah! You so suck!'' shouted Kuwabara. `'Bite me crispy cream!'' shouted Shizuru. They were all in a rage in laughter after that. Just then Reureann was aiming the ball for the goalie, but backfired and ended up shooting back wards. `'Damn it!'' she shouted.

Just then the door opened and reviled Suzaku and a teenaged Koenma. (A/N: this may be the T.V. series cast but lets just say that every thing they are and do, are real) `'Hey guys'' Kenma greeted. `'Ad what may I ask are you playing?'' asked Suzaku.

`'Fuse ball'' shouted Yusuke as he hit the ball to Reureann's offence. `'Can we join?'' asked Koenma. `'Sure, they need all the help they can get'' proclaimed Botan. With that, Suzaku and Koenma shared poles with Yusuke and Kurama and began playing.

`'Oh yea I am so good! Bow down to the demon prince!'' declared Koenma as he hit the ball hard into Keiko's defense. `'Oh yes almighty one!'' joked Botan with a mini bow as she knocked the ball to Hiei. `'Here's my impression of you wemon, look at me I'm burning!'' proclaimed Hiei as he knocked the ball to Suzaku. `'No I don't need a whistle to control this!'' Suzaku shouted as he knocked the ball passed Botan's goalie and scored.

`'All right!'' all the guys shouted as they did a victory dance. `'Yeah, yeah, you guys just got lucky'' declared Keiko, sitting down at the card table. `'Ah your just all sore loser's'' replied Yusuke sitting next to her. All the girls shot death glares at him.

`'Or maybe not'' he said weakly. `'You guys up for a game of cards?'' asked Koenma. The boys nodded. `'What's the game?'' asked Suzaku. `'Poker'' he replied. `'Deal me in'' said Reureann as she pulled up a seat next to Kurama. `'Are you sure Reureann?'' asked Botan.

`'Yeah, even / don't get in this game'' said Shizuru. `'Don't worry, I live off this game!'' she proclaimed. Koenma shuffled then deald the cards to the 6 players, including himself. Reureann took a look at her hand and smiled. She had the perfect hand already.

Kurama discarded 3 cards and drew, then took out 1. Hiei took out 2 cards and drew, he left out 2. Reureann discarded 1 card, drew and didn't get rid of any. Kuwabara got rid of 4 and drew, he got rid of 2. Yusuke got rid of 3 and drew, he left 1 out. Koenma let go of 2 and drew, he discarded none. Suzaku discarded 4 cards and drew, he left 2. Now it was time to bet and show hands.

`'I bet 45 yen, that I have the greater hand'' said Koenma putting in the amount. `'I'm not the gambling type so I wont put in anything'' declared Kurama. `'I bet 87 yen that I have the upper hand'' said Yusuke gladly putting in the money. `'Well, I'll put in 67 yen'' said Hiei placing in his money. `'I think I'll put 76 yen'' said Suzaku, doing the same. `'I'll place 25 yen'' declared Kuwabara doing so. `'It's your move Reureann'' said Botan. Reureann closed her eyes for a second and spread a smile across her face. `'I put in 127 yen'' she claimed opening her eyes and putting the money in. All gasped.

``Uh…are you sure you wanna do that?'' asked Keiko. `'I positive'' she replied. `'Ok, show your hands guys'' said Shizuru. Every one put down their cards and gasped. Reureann had a straight hand! She giggled to her self as she put her arms over the money and took it in.

`'What!?'' exclaimed Yusuke. `'So much for sore loser's'' said Keiko. All the guys except for Kurama were staring at their now owned money that Reureann was counting. Just then the manager came in. `'Sorry to interrupt every one but we have a photo shoot to do'' he exclaimed pointing at his watch. ``Alright'' they all sighed.
