Terra Cooper and her cousin May Saito were walking through the park, their favorite place to be. A soft breeze was blowing, the little birdies were chirping, and Terra was ticked.

 

“The hell does it have to be so damn happy?!” She asked, shaking a fist at the sky. her long blonde hair was, as usual, hanging free and her hazel eyes were glaring up at the sky.

 

“Exactly.” May grumbled. Her black hair was also free, and her brown eyes glared at the ground. Both had simultaneously failed a test, and Terra had been up till midnight three nights in a row studying. So, when the sleeping gas came, she collapsed in a second. May followed suit. An ominous dark shadow stood above both of them.

 

“It's time to change history....” He cackled, for the voice was definitely male. He picked up both girls, and stepped through a portal. Those girls were never to be seen in Human World again. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *ahem* Excuse my random dive into total insanity. On with the story.

 

Anyway, the two girls awoke with the same mysterious figure hovering over them. He had raven-black hair, hanging free to his shoulders, deep blue eyes, and bat wings. No, he ain't Kuroune. Sorry. He wore a pair of black jeans and a tattered black shirt with the words "I am the way I am. Random." on it, and a smiley sticking out its tongue, all in red to contrast the black. Terra shot up.

 

"Who the hell are you and what do you want with us?" She asked.

 

"My name is Hanshou. As to what I want with you, I need you two to change history." He replied.

 

“Well, then, Hanshou, how do you propose we do that?” Terra asked.

 

“Well, you have heard of Kuroune & Youko Kurama, the legendary double thieves?” Hanshou asked. Both girls nodded. “Kuroune was never supposed to die.”

 

That sent both girls into shock. “N..n...NANI?!” Terra shouted.

 

“I need you two to change history so he lives.” Hanshou stated.

 

“Well, then, Hanshou-san, we do have an accord.” Terra put out her hand, and Hanshou shook it.

 

“Keep in contact with me with these.” He handed them cell phones. “Just press the address book. I'm the only entry.” He smirked.

 

Terra smiled. “Cool. So how do we do this?”

 

“Just go through the portal. It'll take you to the right time period.” Hanshou stated. A portal opened in front of them, and both girls leapt in.
