A/N: I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while. My internet went crazy, and I got in trouble, and had writer's block, and I could sit here making excuses all day, but what would that accomplish, ne? Okay, on with the story!

note: okonomiyaki is japanese pizza.

Ch 20:

The arrival of Yusuke and Kuwabaka.

Hiei's POV:

Damn it! Kasia and the baka kitsune pulled me away from the heaven in a freezer! I need more sweet snow than that. It's torture. That "Dairy Queen" or whatever, had 27 different kinds, and none of them were pistachio almond! When they pulled me away, I saw Angel with a sweet snow machine and took it from her, but THAT was pistachio almond. Damnit, I want my sweet snow NOW!

"Hiei, stop moping." Kasia said, plopping down on the couch. "At least we got SOME sweet snow."

"Hn." I looked at the clock on the wall. It read 7:30. "Shouldn't you people be gone by now?"

Angel looked hurt. "Come on Hiei-kun, don't you want me around?"

"No."

Angel growled. "Fine. Then I'm leaving." She went over and stood by the wall.

"I thought you were leaving, baka."

"Not by myself." I glared at her. She returned my stare, but in a moment she grabbed Kasia by the arm and ran upstairs, leaving me alone with Razz.

"Is that the best you can do?" she asked me, "I've seen better glares."

"Hn. Where's the baka kitsune?"

"I don't really care. You might check the kitchen, though." Without another word, I got up and went to go find Kurama. Like Razz said, he was in the kitchen, making breakfast.

"What are you doing?" I asked, picking up a piece of bacon and biting off some.

"What do you think, Hiei?" Kurama responded with a chuckle. "There are six other people besides you and me in this house; don't you think they might be hungry?"

"I couldn't care."

Kurama sighed. "Well, I"m going to make them all breakfast."

"Then they will leave." It was more of a statement than a question. Kurama nodded. "Then I"m going to get them all."

Using my superspeed to be at Kumaru's room in a split second, I picked up Kanna, Emri and Maru by their shirts and sped them into the kitchen, then returned for Kasia, Angel, and Razz. Before any of them knew what happened, everyone was sitting at the table with food at their plate.

"Wha-" Angel started to ask, but I stuffed a sausage in her mouth.

"Shut up and eat." I growled, and grabbed another piece of bacon.

"Hiei, I didn't mean they would leave immediately," Kurama said, shoveling an egg onto Emri's plate.

Angel stopped in mid chew of her sausage and turned to me "You want us to leave that much?" She asked through her food. I just looked at her like she was even more of an idiot than usual. These people torture me, suffocate me, and make me battle with a sleeping bag, and expect me to want them to just move in with me?!? Is there a gas leak somewhere and I"m the only one that isn't affected by it?!?

Kasia finished her breakfast and stood up. "Well, if you want us to leave that much, then we will."

Angel snorted. "Maybe you will, but I won't."

"Yes you will." I growled.

"Will not."

"Will too."

"No."

"Yes."

"NO"

"YES"

"NOOOO"

"YOU WILL LEAVE OR I WILL SLICE YOUR HEAD IN HALF!!!"

Angel's lip trembled and she hid under the table. "Yes sir." she squeaked.

Mentally cheering myself, I sat back down at the table and took yet another piece of bacon. That stuff is almost as good as sweet snow.

About an hour later (Angel was stalling as long as she could) everyone else was saying goodbye as I watched. Goodbyes are pointless. And I won't miss any of them.

"Bye Hiei!!!!" Kasia yelled, jumping on top of me.

"Get off me or experience serious pain." I said coldly. Kasia just giggled and climbed off.

"Oh come on, you know you don't mind." she said, smiling.

"Hn." I replied. "Leave."

She looked at me coldly. "Fine. Goodbye." she went over to Kurama and gave him a hug, who blushed veeeeeery slightly and waved goodbye ( A.N: awwww, Kurama made a friend!).

As they all filed out the door, Angel turned around and started proclaiming her undying love for me, but I sped forward and shut the door on her.

"Don't you ever do that again." I threatened, glaring at Kurama.

"Mister babysitter person," Kumaru said, running up to me, "I'm bored."

"Good for you." I told her. "I couldn't care less."

She looked confused. "What do you want me to do?"

Kurama leaned over and put a hand on Maru's shoulder. "Maru, why don't you go play with Emri?"

"I can't."

Now Kurama looked confused. "Why not?"

"She's gone. She followed Kasia and everybody else. They said they were going to Sea World."

"DAMNIT!" I yelled, punching the wall. "Can you two never just sit there and do nothing?"

Maru shook her head happily.

Kurama sighed. "Come on Hiei, lets go get Emri. Can you find her with your Jagan?"

I nodded and took off the bandages covering my Jagan eye.

"She's at an okonomiyaki cart three blocks away. They stopped for pizza." I said.

Kurama sweatdropped. "I just made them breakfast."

"Who cares. They stopped. Now lets go get Emri before they move." I replied, reaplying the bandages."

"WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! PIZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kumaru screamed happily, running around the room.

Kurama sighed again and we walked out of the house.

"Those two never get full." he said, and we started towards the okonomiyaki cart, Maru zooming around in circles the whole way.

At the Okonomiyaki cart (third person):

"I want pickles and jelly beans and peanut butter and whipped cream and marshmallows and pepperoni and bacon and puppy chow(An: mix of peanut butter and chocolate and Chex! It is sooooooo good! ) and salsa and cookies and shrimp and steak and potato chips and scrambled eggs and octopus and half a meat bun!!" Emri said, jumping up and down.

The okonomiyaki person just stared at her. "Little girl, all we have is sausage and pepperoni."

Emri shrugged. "Oh. Then I'll just have that."

Kasia and Angel just looked at her. "Emri, you know that we just ate breakfast at Maru's, right?" Emri nodded.

"But I want PIZZA!!!!!"

"Fine, fine." Kasia said. "But nothing else after this."

"What about a popsicle at Sea Wor-"

"NO!" Kasia and Kanna yelled in unison.

Emri pouted. "You're no fun."

......................................<entrance of Kurama and Hiei, with Kumaru zooming around the okonomiyaki guy.>

"`Bout time." Razz said, picking up Emri by the arms and handing her to Hiei. "She followed us. Take her back now."

"Hn." was Hiei's reply.

Noticing that she was no longer on the ground, Emri started to scream, making everyone's ears bleed.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-" She stopped suddenly as Hiei dropped her on the ground, where she went back to the okonomiyaki cart and jumped up and down happily, waiting for her pizza.

"I will never understand that girl." Kasia said, sweatdropping.

Maru stopped running around the okonomiyaki guy and tugged on Hiei's cloak.

"Babysitter person, can I have pizza?" she asked.

"No. We're leaving now." Hiei replied coldly, and tossed Maru to Kurama."

"Weeeeeee!" she squealed. "What about Emri?"

Emri turned around and faced Hiei. "I'm not leaving till I get my pizza!" she declared.

Hiei walked over to her and quickly sliced off the head of the Okonomiyaki guy.

"Now there is no pizza." He said, sheathing his sword.

"Why?" she asked, her lip trembling.

"Because the okonomiyaki guy is dead. Now we're going back to Maru's house." Without waiting for a response, Hiei put Emri under his arm and sped back to Maru's, Kurama following.

And the world mourned the death of Bob Kurushimi, the Okonomiyaki maker of Tokyo.

Back at Maru's:

Throwing Emri on the ground, Hiei went back to Kurama (Who was only 15 feet away from the okonomiyaki cart) and grabbed Maru, who he also threw to the ground, then he closed the door.

"Both of you, go sit in the cage." He told them, growling and pointing at the steel cage Kurama initially brought over.

"But-" Maru started.

"NOW!!!" Hiei yelled. Cowering slightly, they ran over to the cage and closed the door.

"Better, babysitter person?" Kumaru asked.

Hiei nodded and sat down on the couch. "Now don't move from that cage for the next two days and I won't have to kill you."

It was about this time that Kurama finally arrived at the house.

"Where are they?" he asked, falling on the couch next to Hiei. He pointed to the cage.

"Ah." Kurama said. "Finally. A break."

Hiei nodded, but when he started to say something, the doorbell rang.

Kurama started hitting his head repeatedly on the board of the couch. "Just *BANG* pretend *BANG* That we're *BANG* not *BANG* HERE! *BANG*

Hiei nodded again, thinking it a brilliant plan, when an all-too-familiar-and-annoying voice filled the air.

"Open the door shrimp! I can sense both you and Kurama in there!"

Kurama sighed and got up to open the door to find Yusuke, Kuwabara and Botan.

"Hello all." he said tiredly as they pushed passed him into the Yeoman's residence.

"What do you want?" Hiei asked, not moving from his spot on the couch.

"New mission." Yusuke said, plopping down next to him.

"I'm not going." Hiei said coldly, pointing to the cage. As he did so, Kumaru spotted Kuwabara and started growling. Emri, just for the fun of it, growled as well.

"Gah!" Kuwabara screamed, backing up against the door. "You're still taking care of those little brats?!?!?!?!"

Botan leaned forward and opened the cage. "They're cute! Hello you two, what are your names?" she asked Maru and Emri. But they didn't listen. Instead, they charged straight at Kuwabara and jumped him.

"GET THEM OFF! GET THEM OFF!!!!!!!" Kuwabara cried, flailing his arms and jumping around everywhere.

Yusuke just laughed at him, then turned back to Hiei. "You have to go. Toddler said so."

"Well, tell him to go fu-"

"Watch what you say Hiei." Koenma said, appearing in front of them.

Hiei just glared.

"And Yusuke is right. You have to go."

"I'm busy Koenma. Don't you see that?"

"Well, then you'll have to take them with you. Now, this mission is very hard. It may take several, grueling weeks, it may take one hour. It all depends on how good you all are with riddles."

"What?" hiei snarled. "You're sending us on a mission and you don't even know all the details?"

"That's how he always does it!" Botan said cheerfully.

"Figures." Yusuke grumbled.

"GUUUUYYYSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kuwabara screamed. "THEY'RE STILL ON ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Good. Leave them there." Hiei said.

"What's the riddle?" Kurama asked Koenma.

Koenma shuffled uncomfortably. "I don't know. It's in this envelope. I didn't look at it yet. I'm not good with riddles." Everyone but Koenma and Kuwabara fell down anime style, because Kuwabara was already on the ground.

"Well, um......I leave you all now. Good luck on your mission!" Koenma said, and threw an envelope at Kurama before disappearing.

"That is just like him." Yusuke growled. "Stupid pacifier breath. `I'm not good at riddles', he says!" he exclaimed, doing an awful imitation of Koenma.

"Let's just go." Hiei said. "I want to get this over with."

"Oh!" Botan exclaimed, "Here!" she handed Yusuke a communication mirror. "I almost forgot!"

Yusuke sighed, "Maybe you should just give me one of my own, that way you don't forget anymore."

Botan shrugged. "Well, you should get going! Good luck!" she said, pushing them all out of the house and flying off on her oar."

Hiei went over to where Emri and Kumaru were chewing on Kuwabara.

"Get that out of your mouths." he told them. "You don't know what diseases it has."

Kuwabara growled at him, forgetting the fact that Hiei had just saved him from the rabid 7-year-olds.

""What's that supposed to mean, shrimp?"

"It means that if I have to take care of Maru for the next two days, I don't want her to end up getting sick and me end up not getting paid."

"Why you little-"

"Will you guys just cut it out so we can go?" Kurama asked tiredly.

Kuwabara looked startled. "Uh sure. What does the riddle say?"

Kurama took out the envelope. "Let's find out."

"OOOOH, LET ME SEE!" Kumaru screamed, jumping on top of Kurama's head. Kurama ignored her.

"The riddle says-"
