Chapter Nine: Graduation & Mating

A few months later graduation was a day away. Luna was in her room listening to music with Kit in her lap. She was petting him when Darren walked in. He snuck up and sat down behind her. He put his hands over her eyes saying, "Guess who?" Luna smiled and said, "Let's see, um Darren." He laughed and took his hands off of her eyes. He moved to set next to her and scratched Kit behind his ears. "So after graduation tomorrow," said Darren. The next day Darren had Luna in his arms, her head on his shoulder. Marin was in Haru's arms, all of then waiting to be called. "Next is Luna Minamoto," said the teacher. Luna walked out of Darren's arms and walked to the podium getting her diploma. "Haru Jaganish," said the teacher. Haru walked up, after Marin moved out of his arms, grabbing his diploma. "Darren Moon," said the teacher. Darren walked out taking his diploma them moving to stand next to Luna. "Marin Emma," said the teacher. Marin walked out and grabbed her diploma then walked over to Haru.

After the ceremony was over Luna and Darren went to his car. Kurama patted Darren on the back saying, "Good luck." Kurama, Keyla, Hiei, Muruko, Kewemba, and Botan laughed when both Darren and Luna blushed. They both got into the car and drove to his house. It was in the forest almost a mile from Luna's and there was a small lake near his house. They pulled up into the drive and walked into the house. They went right into the bedroom, both really wanting this for a while.
