Epilogue: Aftermath

 

A now five and a half Koharu and Crystal were playing in the woods. They were playing there summer away trying to make it last since they were starting first grade this year. Luna walked up to the two, her stomach was big since she was seven months pregnant and said, “Come on you two time to come in.” “But mom,” said both Crystal and Koharu at the same times. “No buts its time to come in besides Aunt Marin and Uncle Haru are here,” said Luna. Crystal and Koharu smiled before running past Luna and into the house. Luna laughed at the two but yelped when Darren picked her up bridal style from behind. Luna laughed as Darren carried her inside and into the living room where Haru and Marin were talking to a now thirteen year old Kit. Daren walked in and Luna said, “What were you three talking about?” “Just my arm mom,” said Kit.

A year after the battle Kit had gotten a new arm made of automail so he could have a normal life. (If you don't know what automail if watch Full Metal Alchemist) Luna nodded her head but groaned when she heard a yelp. Koharu ran into the living room with Crystal chasing him, Koharu's left ear bleeding. “Crystal did you bite his ear again?” asked Kit. All Crystal did was smile while Luna wrapped Koharu's ear. “So what did you guys stop by for?” asked Darren. “We have something to tell you guys,” said Marin. “What?” asked Luna. “Marin is two months pregnant were going to be parents,” said Haru. “That's great you two,” said Darren. “Feel sorry for you though,” said Kit, “Unless you're only having one.” “Hey I take that as an insult,” said Crystal and Koharu. “Well you two can be trouble,” said Kit. Koharu and Crystal stuck their tongues out at Kit before jumping on his back.

Everyone talked for a while until Darren said, “Alright you three bedtime you have school in the morning.” Kit sat up and walked up to his room while Koharu and Crystal were reluctant. “Now you two or no time outside for a week,” said Darren. The two eeped and ran up to their rooms as fast as they could. Luna laughed but stopped when the phone started ringing. She checked the caller id and picked the phone up before hanging it up right away. “Kurama and Keyla again?” asked Darren. “Yes,” said Luna. “You still aren't talking to them it's been three yeas now?” asked Haru. “They insulted out family that is not something you forgive quickly,” said Darren. “I guess your right,” said Marin. Then Marin and Haru stood up getting ready to leave. “Well we will talk to you sometime later,” said Haru. “Ya bye you two and good luck,” said Luna. Darren then picked Luna up one Haru and Marin had left and carried her to their room. He laid her down on their bed before laying down himself beside her. He fell asleep just as she did and everyone rested, waiting for the events that would arrive in the future.
