Chapter 18 Criminals Escaping Criminals
Hiei has his sword drawn and is about to attack, when Alyssa comes bursting in through the wall with Kuno right on her trail. When they past, Mukuro had disappeared.
Hiei looks cautiously around.
“Do you think she’s gone?” Trako asks aloud.
“No she’s most likely still in the building...” Erin says quickly closing the door. (Alyssa and Kuno burst right back out of there as soon as they burst in *sweet drop*)
Hiei strides over to Trako and looks over Vera. He seems to be in thought for a moment, but then he snarls and walks away angrily.
“*looking at Hiei oddly* what’s up with him?”Erin asks as he sits down and leans against the wall..
“Who knows, maybe he read her mind and saw her dreaming about how sexy I am.” Trako says smiling like an idiot as he places Vera down next to Erin.
“*shakes head* you idiot, I highly doubt it.” Trako then sits down next to Erin and puts his hands behind his head.
(Yes, Trako has a small perverted side, but he barely shows it... and when he does he shows it at the wrong time..heh...)
Vera groans, but doesn’t awake.
The door to the room suddenly bursts open, Hiei unsheathes his sword and readies to attack, but, it was only Yusuke and the rest of the gang. (Erin and Trako sat there wide eyed staring at the door when it burst open)
Catrine steps in last after everyone else. When she see’s Trako, she runs at him with her fist raised. When he see’s her, he jumps up from where he was sitting and grabs hold of her fist. She throws her other fist at him, he also grabs that one.
“Throw your legs at me and I’ll break them for you. ^_^” he says.
“You...” she starts off.
“What do you want, she, so women are just plain freaking annoying. Can’t you see I’m on your side? The hell is wrong with you?” Trako asks letting her fists go.
“You can’t be careful these days with telling good guys from bad guys. So since you were protecting this place, I thought you were an enemy.” she says staring him in the eyes.
Suddenly Alyssa appears, back in her human form. To everyone’s surprisement, she had no cute nor did she have any bruises.
“HOW CAN YOU THINK HE’S A BAD GUY? ? ? LOOK HOW CUUUUUTTTE HE IS ” Alyssa says poking his arm.
“STOP TOUCHING ME THERE ” he says rubbing his arm and pushing her away.
“HEY STOP PUSHING ME ”
“Alyssa, did you kill Kuno?”Erin asks looking over Vera.
“Eh.... maybe.... maybe not..... but... I’d say yes..” Alyssa says.
“*twitch* You’re supposed to know, Alyssa, you *twitch* were the one fighting him.” Erin says about to strangle him.
“I know, I’m just gonna let you figure it out.” she says.
Yusuke shakes his head, “ Alyssa you are a idiot.”
“And you are---- something alright.” she says suddenly sitting down next to Erin.
“VERA MY LOVE ARE YOU HARMED ???” Kuwabara yells out and grabs her hand.
“The onna’s asleep, baka.” Hiei says.
“WHATEVER ” Kuwabara yells at him.
“I think we should find Mukuro before she tries to pull something on us.” Kurama suggests.
Everyone nods in agreement, except for Vera, who slowly opens her eyes.
“Oh holy crap DARN IT SHE’S ALIVE ” Vera yells out, then she yawns.
“Who are you talking about?” Kuwabara asks wide eyed.
“Oh nothing...... just a reaction....”
“To Kuwabara?” Yusuke asks laughing.
Vera just smiles sheepishly and scratches her head.
“Well, we should get a move on now.” Kurama, yet again suggests.
“Why are you in such a hurry?” Catrine asks.
“I just need to check on my mother, that’s all.” he says in reply.
They all nod in understanding and head for the door. Hiei was the last to leave the room, right behind Vera.
Vera turns around slightly, Hiei looked angry.
“Hiei, are you angry with me?” she asks.
He doesn’t look at her, but she could tell he was angry by the look in his eyes.
“Hiei, what’s wrong, you can tell me, I’ll probably forget so you’ll have no worries of me telling anyone... plus, I’ve never told anyone a secret ^.^ I’m good at keeping them.”
He glances at her, he “hn’s” and keeps walking. Vera sighs and continues walking also. Trako walks backward to Vera’s side. She laughs at him.
“You’re suddenly so happy. ^_^” She says smiling, he smiles stupidly at her.
“That’s cuz now I’m not ‘the bad guy’ anymore ” He says still smiling stupidly. Vera giggles again.
“WATCH OUT Yusuke yells aloud to everyone. There was suddenly a big bullet like light shooting down the hallway towards them. They all managed to move out of the way, well, Trako had to drag Vera to the side because she stared at it as it came towards her.
Mukuro was standing at the end of the hall with a energy ball like thing in her hands.
“You’re no leaving alive unless you leave Vera with me.” she says, threatening to throw another one.
“Why would we do that when we came to save her?” Yusuke asks curiously.
Mukuro suddenly attacks them, still holding the ball of energy in her hand. She throws it straight towards Vera, then after that attacks Yusuke.
Vera quickly runs to the side and over towards the door that Yusuke was leading them to. She opens it and starts to run, Trako was at her side, not telling her to stop, so she knew that she was going the right way. They continue running, until they reach the forest that Yusuke and the others had come out of to get to Mukuro’s mansion. (Yes, they ran a long way)
“I’ve *big breath* never ran *another big breath* that much and far.” Vera says gasping for air. She collapses to the ground and leans on the tree.
“I had no problem with it, I was flying over. *big smile*” Trako says sitting down next to Vera, perfectly fine.
“I don’t have wings , Trako I RAN WITH MY FEET THE WHOLE WAY OVER ”
“Well that sucks.” Trako says with a huge smile. Vera can’t help but laugh at him.
“Trako you’re so innocent but yet so evil.” she says laughing some more at him.”
