Hiei, Yusuke, and Kuwabara all walked into the library and saw Kurama on his cell phone.
"Alright mother I will be back as soon as possible.......yes mother I understand....all right I shall be home before 7." He hung the phone up and looked at the other three. Only Yusuke and Kuwabara were bruised.
"Did you have fun training?" He asked them. Yusuke and Kuwabara glared while Hiei smirked.
"I take it your mother demands you to go home?" Hiei asked. Kurama nodded.
"You three are invited as well, my mother is back from her honeymoon with my new step-father, and as it turns out I have a new step-sister as well and she is there too." He said.
"Free food?" Yusuke asked.
"Yes Yusuke, you all are invited for dinner as well." Kuwabara and Yusuke high fived.
"We're in." They both said.
"I have nothing better to do and dinner normally means sweet snow after. I see no reason why I shouldn't go." Hiei said. They all left Genkai's and headed over to his house.
-At Kurama's house-
"Armina, your brother should be home soon." Kurama's step father said as he peeked into his daughters bedroom. She glared at him.
"He is not my brother and the woman down stairs is not my mother. My mother is dead and has been for almost six months now." She said, pissed that upon her return to Bejing she had been told to pack her room and that she would be moving to Tokyo with her father and her Step-mother.
"Armina, please. I love Shiori and I would be happy if you can just accept the fact that she is your new mother and you now have an older brother."
"I don't have a mother or brother! My mother is dead and always will be, nothing can bring her back and you know it. I don't want a new mom I want to be left ALONE!" She shouted at her father, slamming the door in his face as the front door opened.
"Shuichi welcome home sweetie." his mother said as they stepped through the door and removed their shoes.
"Hello mother, how was your trip?" he asked as he stepped into the kitchen, the others following close behind.
"It was wonderful but.." his mother hesitated and chewed her lip slightly.
"But what? Is something wrong?"
"Your new sister isn't taking very well to the move from Bejing to Tokyo, she's been in her room ever since we got back and hasn't come out once. I think she even yelled at Kioji." she said. She seemed genuinly worried about his new sister. His step-father Kioji came into the kitchen looking rather worn out and irritable.
"How is she?" she asked, giving her new husband a hug.
"Same as she was two hours ago and since we got here. She won't come out or accept the fact that she has a new family now." Kioji said with a sigh.
"Allow me to attempt to talk to her, maybe I can persuade her to at least come out." Kurama suggested when he saw how worried his mother was.
"Would you? It would mean the world to us if you could." His mother said. Kurama and the others went up the stairs and stopped at what was once the guest room.
"Are you sure this is the right room?" Yusuke asked.
"Well it's the only empty one besides the office next to my mothers room but I doubt she would be in there." Kurama said.
"There's a bizarre energy coming from this room fox." Hiei said, the others looked at him until a chill went up their spines.
'I've felt this energy before.' Yoko said in Kurama's mind.
'Really? Where have you felt it before?'
'Almost 100 years ago in Makai.'
'What is it?'
'A necromancer, but from the feel of the energy, this one is unaware of what talent they posses.' Kurama shuddered at this news, his new sister was a necromancer. He knocked on the door, only to be shouted at that she didn't want to talk and to go away. Yusuke grabbed the knob and opened the door but froze when he saw the girl.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Yusuke shouted the girl lunged forward and covered his mouth.
"Don't yell so loud you idiot, I'm no more pleased to be here than you are but must you go screaming like that." She growled in a low tone as she examined the others as she uncovered his mouth.
"Urameshi why did you yell like that?" Kuwabara asked.
"Yes, do enlighten us as to why you acted like an idiot more so than usual." Hiei said in his normal sarcastic tone.
"She's that thing that attacked me when I was at Genkai's. I thought you were banished to Bejing."
"I was and I was more than pleased to be out of this god forsaken country where I'm confined to one area."
"So why are you here than and what are you?" Kurama asked, wary of what she may be and how this girl was a necromancer that was over 100.
"I'm here because my bakka of a father decided it would be a great idea to marry a woman he met on a business trip and move us out of Bejing here to Tokyo. I'm not more pleased to be here than this idiot tresspasser is to see me. And as for what I am, well that's something you'll just have to find out on your own." She said, sitting down on her bed and crossing her legs.
"But your aura, it's puzzling." Kuwabara said.
"Blame that on my mother." She muttered.
"Was your mother a demon?" Kuwabara asked.
"Probably considering she turned into a wolf and nearly killed me." Yusuke said, not pleased that she was in his prescence.
"No you bakkas. She's not a demon." Hiei said. He got closer and inhaled deeply while she growled.
"Lycanthrope. She smells of the earth, fur, and....." Hiei's eyes got wide as he realized what else she smelled of. She smelled of forbidden death magic.
"What else is it Hiei?" Kurama asked gently as he went to stand by him.
"Nothing, I thought it was something but it turns out it's animal stink and nothing more." Hiei said, going back to his normal cold self.
"Thanks for blabbing my secret you asshole." She growled at him, tempted to strike him.
"Don't even think of it onna. I can destroy you before you even raise a claw." Hiei growled at her.
"Well with all this set aside and the threats out in the open, why the fuck did you assholes come into my room?" She growled, fangs begining to form.
"I offered to try and convince you to come downstairs. My mother and your father are quite worried about you." Kurama said. Her eyes glowed and a breeze picked up in the room.
"Get out now. I will come down when I feel the need to but I will come down more sooner now get out before I make you." She said, her voice going lower into a growl.
"And what are you going to do? You won't attack us with his mother and your father here." Yusuke said, looking smug as he said so. The breeze picked up to a gust as they were all pushed out of the room. They all looked at eachother once the door slammed.
"What was that?" Kuwabara asked, stunned since he had never felt that sort of energy before.
"I don't know, not even Toguro's aura got that strong." Yusuke said, shaking slightly as he recalled bits and pieces of the dark tournament.
'Kurama, I take it back. That girl knows exactly what she is, and I hate to say it but I think she may be that muse child we're supposed to be looking for.' Yoko said. Kurama's eyes widened. Just what had they all gotten into? Not only were they stuck in a house with a Necromancer, but she was a Lycan and the daughter of a muse.
"Fox, something's wrong? What is it?" Hiei asked gently as Yusuke and Kuwabara went downstairs to inform Shiori and Kioji she wasn't going to come out.
"Hiei, I think we all may be over our heads on this mission." Kurama said in a forlorn way as he dragged himself over to the stairs.
AN: ^,..,^ bet no one expected a necromancy twist huh? Well Read and review and slowly but surely all will be revealed. Oh and if the chapters seem kinda short it's cause I'm having to use wordpad (looooong story as to why) and any spelling errors are 'cause I'm using wordpad.
