This time two other young girls join Teshi, Bunny and Jeff in the comfy room. Both girls are of the same height, one with short blonde hair and one with shoulder length brown hair.

 

“Teshi, you idiot. You forgot to put `Sad but true' in the prologue!” commented the girl with short blonde hair.

 

“I know I did, Britt, but it will be in this one.” Teshi answered her after sticking her tongue out at Britt.

 

“Oo! This is the beginning of the next chapter, isn't it?!” Cried the brunette girl while she looked at Teshi with excitement.

 

“Yes, Dani, it is.” Answered Teshi.

 

“Am I in it?!” Dani asked again in her excited, high voice.

 

“Yes, Dani, you are.” Answered Teshi in a very amused voice.

 

“Do I get to do the disclaimer?!” She asked.

 

“YES, DANI, YOU DO!!!” cried Bunny and Britt having had enough of her annoying questions.

 

Dani backs up into a corner with eyes wide.

 

“Now look what you two have done? How dare you guys scold her?!” Teshi walks up to Dani and pats her on the shoulder. “It's ok, Dani. Go do the disclaimer.”

 

“Ok!” Dani walks into the middle of the room and faces the readers as Teshi goes over to scold Britt and Bunny, much to Jeff's amusement.

 

“Same disclaimer applies to this one as the one used in the pervious chapter! Even the part about `Sad but true'.”

 

As Dani stops talking Teshi flies by her yelling “On with the story” as she is chased by Britt and Bunny.

A girl about 5'6” with black and yellow striped ear lob length hair; pale skin; and shocking blue eyes leaned against the railing of the bridge while listening to her walkman. She had on black flare jeans, electric blue tank-top, black long-sleeved cotton shirt, and blue sandals. As she looked out over the pond she listened to her music, `Sad but true' by Metallica.

As the song ended, and there was that few seconds of dead air, she heard a noise made by someone walking. In an instant she had her Walkman off her head and on the ground by her messenger bag. She turned towards the sound of the footsteps, expecting to see one of Darrin's henchmen, only to be confronted by what looked to be a short boy with black hair, brown eyes, black clothes, and a white headband. It was easy to tell that he was not human, if only by the way he held himself, and there was no way that he was fey. So, all that left was demon. This short, little man was a demon. No doubt about it.

 

“Why are you listening to such a depressing song?” asked the little demon in Japanese.

 

“That is none of your business, Little Man.” Answered Delicia, not knowing that she made a big mistake. “Who the fuck…” she started to say, but was cut off by him.

 

“Little Man! How dare you speak to me like that?!” he retorted. “I will make you regret your words.” And with that he unsheathed his katana and charged her, only to be stopped by the growling of a wolf and jaguar.

 

“I would like you to meet my friends and companions, demon. The jaguar is Iqi, the wolf is Aubrey,” Delicia said pointing to the big, midnight black cat on his left and the steel gray wolf on his right. Then pointing behind him. “The brunette is Morrigan and the black haired one is Black Kat, and I am Delicia.” She finished pointing to herself. “We are here on business and have no time to deal with the likes of you, so if you please…” she made a little motion with her hand, as if to shoo him.

 

Aubrey chose that moment to return to his more human form. He was approximately 6 ft. 2 with dark brown hair. His eyes, so dark a green, were vibrant against the pale hue of his skin. His clothing was nearly a uniform, consisting of all black: jeans, T-shirt and a leather jacket. He turned as to keep the demon in his view and still be able to see Delicia.

 

“I highly doubt that now is the time for you to be making enemies, Delicia. We just got here.” Aubrey scolded her in English.

 

Delicia rolled her eyes, “I don't care what enemies I make as long as I can find my brother, Aubrey.”

 

The brunette gracefully walked forward never taking her eyes from the demon. “For all you know, Delicia, he could have some useful information for us.” In Japanese she said to the demon, “Please forgive Delicia, she meant no harm by her remark. She is just a little grumpy at the moment.”

 

Hiei looked at each person in turn before he eased his guard. In English he replied, “The next time she or any of you make such a remark again I will not hesitate in attacking.” With that said Hiei jumped into a near by tree and disappeared from sight.

 

“Now that was interesting.” Said the tall black haired woman as she came to stand beside Delicia. “Delicia, dear, please never piss off a demon again.”

 

Delicia rolled her eyes and walked away from them. Grabbing her messenger bag and Walkman in the process.

 

Aubrey looked at his sister and nodded in Delicia's direction. The jaguar gave a slight nod and took off after her friend.

 

“I'm going to try and follow that demon. Maybe I can get some useful information.” Aubrey told the rest of the group.

 

With that the group separated and went their own ways. Aubrey in the direction the demon went, Kat in the direction of town, and Morrigan in the direction of a temple she had heard about.

Teshi sighs, “I know, I know. It's short. But I couldn't help it. I just could not think of a way to start the next part off.”

“Excuses, excuses.” Said Bunny, while doing that annoying little wave thing everyone does when they say that.

 

Teshi rolls her eyes, “I promise that the next one will be longer. Oh, and Bunny your official introduction will be in the next chapter.”

 

Dani stands up and looks at the readers, “Please review! If you don't I will be forced to jump out of this computer and strangle you.”
