*****************************CHAPTER 8 FEARS AND PSYCHO**********************

"What the where did Cory go?" Yusuke asked as he looked around. "You said the word again Brittaney," Jin said as he hit his forehead. Brittaney laughed nervously "oops." "Wait what word?" Kuwabara asked as he scratched the back of his head. "Wait… You know the word that… um… Brittaney screamed when she woke up! Well that is the word," Kat answered as she tried to get Cory off the ceiling fan with a broom. "Why is she afraid of chkjhiuys," Kuwabara could not finish because Brittaney covered his mouth with Kat's headband. Kat saw this and flipped out. "That was my favorite fuckin headband and you used it to fuckin cover the fuckin baka's fuckin mouth!!!!!!!!!" Kat screamed as she attacked Brittaney.

Cory jumped off of the fan and sat on the bed, Indian style, eating the popcorn that randomly showed up in her hands, "Yes a fight!" Hiei came through the door with a black headband in his hands as Brittaney said, "Well what did you want me to do touch him with my hands?" Hiei handed Kat the black headband and said, "Here Onna take mine." Kat looked at the headband for a minute and then calmed down. She tied it around her head so that it was covering her Jagan. "Damn its over!" Cory whined as the popcorn disappeared. "Now bout that fear of crayons" Yusuke said. Cory was back on the ceiling fan. "Ignore her I will tall you what she told me." Brittaney said.

*****************************Flash back with a narrator (Brittaney)*********************

It happened when Cory was almost 3 in demon years that must have made her 14 in Ningen years. Back then she was known, as Diablogata, and I wasn't born yet. Anyway, she was happily coloring on the walls with a blue crayon when her father thought it would be fun to make the crayons "possessed". They attacked her and chased her all over the house. She's been afraid ever since.

"And that is what happened," Brittaney said. "Damn that was really mean to do to your daughter!" Kat said. "Wait didn't you know?" Brittaney and Cory asked. Kat looked around the room, "Maybe." They both sigh. "Cory have you ever been to a psychiatrist?" Botan asked. All of a sudden Kat and Cory were both gone. "Why did you have to say psychiatrist?" Jin asked. "Wait you know about the psychiatrist thing." Brittaney said out of confusion seeing the only reason she knew was because they told her all of their fears the first night we were here. "Yeah I had to drag Cory away from flaming Ink blots and such." "Oh" Brittaney replied. "Do you see any psychiatrists, Kat?" Cory asked from the kitchen closet. "No, but I… forgot to check the cupboard this morning!!! Cory check the cupboard for psychiatrists!!" Kat said from under the kitchen table.

"Bump pa da dumb." Cory says as she jumps out of the closet. On her head she has a slightly big pot (side ways). In her right hand she has a big broom. There is a frying pan attached to her belt and a cookie sheet is being used by her left arm, as a shield (by the way this outfit is Michelle's Idea). They were all from Pamper Chief. "Cory, stop your sound affects." Kat said. Everyone in the room, except the sisters', eyes widen as they stare at Cory slowly walking towards the cupboard. "Swoosh." Cory says as she runs to the cupboard. "I said stop the sound affects!!!!!!!" Kat screamed. Cory turned around and put her hands on her hips while saying, "Do you want me to check or not?" Kat shut her mouth immediately. Cory opens the cupboard and shoves the broom in while moving it from side to side. "Nope not in here!!" She said. "Why are you guys afraid of psy… them?" Yusuke asked trying his hardest not to say psychiatrists, as he was still staring at Cory. "Well you see…"

Kat was in a psychiatrist's office taking an inkblot test. "Ok, you are going to tell me what you see on this piece of paper." Said the psychiatrist. "Ok well what am I supposed to see??" little 5 year old human Kat asked as she looked at the inkblot. "Something." The psychiatrist (ok any time I gots to type psychiatrist I am going to type Doc instead kk) answered. "Ok…Well…I see… Ink." She said with a lot of confidence in her voice. "No you are supposed to see something." The doc said while rubbing his temple. This went on for an hour.

*********************************In Cory's Room (still in flashback)*********************

Cory, she was also human and 5 years old, was sitting in a chair smirking. "Ok, we are going to play a little word game. When I say a word you tell me the first thing that comes to mind." Her Doc said. "Ok," she said with a cute tiny voice as she looked wide-eyed at his Rolex. (the conversation between them goes Doc Cory)

"Tree."

"Food."

"Cat"

"Food"

"Dog"

"Money"

"Watch"

"Mine"

"Ring"

"Shiny"

"Crayon"

"Evil" she screamed as she started to throw furniture around the room. "Ok, Ok calm down NOW," the Doc said. It did not work. "OK SIT YOUR LITTLE FUCKIN BRAT ASS DOWN," he screamed as he threw her down in to the chair.

**********************************Back to Kat*********************************

"Ok Now listen here what do the fuck do you see?" the Doc screamed. "Don't yell at me." She started to cry. "Well then tell me what you see." He said in a calmer tone. "I see an evil, evil man," she pouted as she grabbed his clipboard. She started to hit him with it. She sang "Lalalalalalalala I got your clipboard" as she did a little victory dance. The Doc grabbed it back and pushed her in to the wall knocking her out instantly.

"Yea when I woke up I was in a strait jacket," Kat growled. "Oh, yeah that reminds me did you check for the men in the white coats today?" Cory asked knowing that Kat and Brittaney would jump under the table. "Wait you are afraid of something else you are such wimps for infamous thieves," Kuwabara said mockingly. Cory hit him in the head with a broom until he was on the floor unconscious. "Well, Brittaney did you check?" Kat said pleadingly as a sprite bottle appears in her right hand. Brittaney was thinking. "Well, wait where did every one go?" Kat said as she looked around franticly it was completely black. "Nope to big," Cory said as she pulled the pot off her head. "Here this one should fit." She put a smaller one on and it fit perfectly. Everyone, except the sisters and Kuwabara who was like so x.x, fell over anime style. "Yes I checked everywhere……………except under my bed!!" Brittaney said as she and Kat quickly huddled together under the table. "It is ok I am already suited up." Cory said as she stalked upstairs.

A couple of minutes later she screams from upstairs, "Nope…wait there is something white under here." Kat started to flip out, and ended up orbing up into there. Everyone followed the loud crash that happened when Kat was not ready to land but did any way. "Nope never mind false alarm it is just my missing sock." Cory stated. "That's my sock," Kat said. "Why would I put YOUR sock under BRITTANEY'S bed,,," she thinks what she just said over, ",,,,,,,,,,,,, no I asked it right," Cory said, "Why would I put YOUR sock under BRITTANEY'S bed??" Brittaney looks at her "How the hell did you get a sock under my bed in the first place?" Cory looks around the room and answers, "I have my ways. I have my ways"

A smile grew on her face and then she asks, "Can we watch it now?" Yusuke looked at her "No not until you explain the white coat thing. Cory sighs, "Fine I will explain the fear of the men in white coats." Brittaney and Kat huddle together.

***************************************************FLASH BACK*************************

Kat had just woken up and was in a strait jacket trying to get out. Cory skips in and looks at Kat than at the jacket in her hand. She tossed it over Kat's head so that she could not see any more either. The only part of Kat's head that was showing is a strand of blue fire hair. Cory gets wide-eyed, and crossed her legs, (left one in front) then turned, and ran saying, "swoosh." Kat sat there thinking `She does her own sound affects. I know some one that does that don't I?' (She has no idea that she is a demon or that Cory is her sister.) Her thoughts were interrupted by Brittaney walking in (they don't know each other) she looked at Kat, "Um… Do you need some help??" Kat answered "Sure why not!" Brittaney helped her out of both jackets. (Her hair is normal again.)

**********************************With Cory********************************

After she ran out of the room, she wandered around the hospital. When a bunch of doctors walked by, she ducked into a nearby closet. When she came out she was wearing a white doctors coat that was to long and a stethoscope around her neck. As she continued to walk around, chaos erupted around her. A man ran by with a chain saw, doctors were screaming about attacking muffins, and penguins were all over the place. She happened to stumble upon a room with a dieing, or well actually he was sleeping, in it near on of those shocker thingies. Cory turned on the machine and turned it up to 500 volts. "500 Volts" she screamed as she shocked the sleeping man. He screamed bloody murder. "1000" volts she screamed as she shocked him again this time it killed him after he screamed a little. "Time of death is…… who gives I sure don't." she shrugged her shoulders.

"What the." Brittaney screamed. "That is what the men in white coats are going to do t us!" Kat screamed. They both ran in opposite directions away from Cory. Kat ran into Crazy Floyd (the guy with the chainsaw) in a white coat. Brittaney ran into Doctors in white lab coats that dragged her screaming towards Cory.

"That was you." Brittaney said as her and Kat slowly backed themselves into two different corners away from Cory. "Well not all of it." Cory said as she moved towards Kat. Kat screamed "WOODEN SPOON." All that was left of Cory was her smoke out line. "What the hell is going on?" Kitami asked as she looked for Cory. "Well… you see she is afraid of wooden spoons." Kat answered. Brittaney looked at her, "Since when?" Kat rolled her eyes "I will tell you."

******************FLASH BACK (with Kat as narrator*************************

Cory was 5 yrs old it was about a week after we met in the human world. Any way she went into the Kitchen and looked around to make sure that her grandmother was not there. When she saw the coast was clear she ran and stuffed her face with cookies. When she was leaving the kitchen `smack' she got smacked in the head with a …Wooden spoon.

"Now it is time to get Cory back," Saskia said. "How do you purpose we do that?" Karasu asked. "I KNOW. I KNOW!!!!" Kat screamed as she jumped up and down. "Ok how?" Yusuke asked while mocking Kat. Kat ignored his mocking and screamed, "CORY IT IS TIME FOR THE END OF THE WORLD CARTOON (real cartoon the site is: http://www.ebaumsworld.com/endofworld.html!!) "Ok, OK come on let's go. Load it please." Cory said out of nowhere. "Wait where did you come from?" Kitami and Saskia asked at the same time. Kat loaded the cartoon so they did not get an answer.

They all watched it and towards the end it said, "Then we had nuclear winter and everyone was dead except Australia and they were still like WTF……………… But they'll be dead soon……………..Fuckin Kangaroos." Kat started to run around in circles, "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH They are going to attack!!!" Cory saw this and started to jump up and down while singing, "Kangaroos are great. Kangaroos are fun. Kangaroos jump on everyone."

Kat stopped and said, "Wooden spoon." Cory stopped singing and said, "It is ok it is only a word not the real thing." Little did she know the when Kat said Wooden spoon she called for it. So, she smirked evilly, "Oh, really now." She took the spoon out from behind her back. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH" she screamed as she hid behind the curtains. "Stop it you two stop scaring each other." Brittaney screamed.

"Why is Kat scared of the word I can't say??" Botan asked. "Well… we are not to sure of that she has been scared ever since before we met." Cory said as she walked back into the middle of the room. "Well Kat!" Yusuke said annoyed while he sat down on the couch. "Um… yeah she won't go there, and we think it has something to so with her dads death." Jin said. "Ok'. Yusuke said. "Kat…. How did your dad die??" Kuwabara asked.

"Oh, shit" Brittaney, Cory, and Jin said. Cory grabbed Kitami and Saskia and dived into a pillow fort that Jin made. Brittaney grabbed Botan and jumped into the closet. Jin grabbed Karasu and Kurama and dove into the fort too. Kat's hair turned to blue fire and her eyes went black. "What did you say?" Yusuke and Kuwabara stood there frozen. "I can hurt you if I need to!" Yusuke said as he started to form his spirit gun. Hiei was engulfed in flame. "Hiei what don't use your fire to protect you." Cory screamed. "I'm not" Hiei answered. Kuronue stood there and tried to move but couldn't. "I am protecting him dumb ass." The Evil Desdemona said. "Wow she is protecting someone." Brittaney said with amazement. "Yeah she doesn't even protect her own sisters." Cory said sarcastically. "You can't hurt me but I can hurt you." Evil Desdemona smirked. "Kangaroo" Cory screamed trying to snap her out of it. It did not even faze Desdemona. "Hell Fire!" Desdemona screamed. Hell fire shot out of her hands with an explosion. Yusuke and Kuwabara flew into the wall and knocked out. Kuronue flew through a window.

Hiei used his flame to try and get out. Desdemona looked at him with a death glare while making him start to float in the air. "Shit Hiei I told you not to do that. Now she is gonna hurt you. She does not like when other people control fire." Cory said as she hit her forehead. "She wont hurt, Hiei will she?" Jin asked. "No it doesn't matter who it is when she is like this." Brittaney answered. "No don't hurt him." Desdemona turned good and then back to evil. "I have to he used fire." She changed again "no" and again "yes" and again "no" but before she could turn back evil Cory screamed, "Kangaroos!" Desdemona screamed, "Where?" Every one fell over anime style, except the knocked out people, the sisters, and Hiei who was falling to the ground. He landed on his feet. "Ok that was evil." Kuronue said when he climbed back through the window. "Yeah well I wanted to kill you ever since I met you and well they asked for it." She said. "I think it is time to tall them about out past now," Brittaney said.
