*******************************************************Chapter 9 History of the bandits

"Can I go out to feed?" Cory asked. "Yeah lets go and get a burger." Kuwabara said as he out his arm over Cory's shoulder. (HEHEHEHEHEHE I made him touch her hehehehehehe that is fun sorry Kuwa fans if there is any, which I doubt but o well). "I don't eat mortal food!" Cory said as she turned to her sisters who were laughing hysterically. She had icy blue eyes with no pupil and fangs. "Well… can I?" she asked getting annoyed. "Wait what is going on and what happened to your eyes?" Yusuke asked. "And since when do you say mortal and not Ningen?" Cory roles her eyes and says, "I am a vampire dumb ass." Kat stopped laughing to say, "Yeah a vampire who cant feed until she tells her history."

Cory pouts and says "Fine. Once upon a time in a screwed up world we call Makai, there was a good white lighter/ witch who fell in love with a Spirit/magic demon. They got married and wanted kids. One dude in the village they lived in said that their kids would be half evil and half good, but they did not listen. I was born and adorable baby, with black ears and brown and black striped tail. It became apparent that I had all my father's abilities plus mom's empathy and ability to make potions and heal only myself. I lived a good life. Then the brat was born (Brittaney). Stayed home for a while. I was 9 when I killed me and Brittaney's dad. Took off when I was 15. Traveled the worlds. I became part of Thieves Guild in New Orleans and in Makai. Met vampire clan. I got bit too. When I came back home I met Desdemona. I also killed our mom trying to kill Desdemona. I became head of the family and stole shiny things. The End For Now. Good bye I'm gone." Cory has left the building.

"Ok she killed both your parents?" Botan sighed. "Yeah well when she killed her mom I don't think she meant it." Brittaney said as she looked over in Kat's direction. "What it is not like it is my fault I did not want to die." Kat shrugged her shoulders. "Huh?" Yusuke and Kuwabaka I mean Kuwabara said at the same time. "Well you see Desdemona got attacked by Cory when she first got back because Cory did not know her and vise verse." Brittaney started to explain. "Yea so we attacked each other and she tried to blow me up which blew the room that our mom was in up." Kat continued to explain. "They both screamed mom and that is how they knew that they were sisters well half sisters." Brittaney finished. "Well that is not a great meeting you two had." Karasu said. "Yea I was only 5 and she was 15." Kat added. "Oh," Yusuke said with wide eyes. "That is not a fair fight." "Yea well neither is you against Kuwabaka over there." Kat said as she rolled her eyes. "Wait that was an insult." Kuwabara said. "Your point being?" Kat asked. "Were you guys sad?" Botan asked.

********************************Flash Back********************

"Darn the old bat is dead." Diablogata said as she turned to walk away then screamed, "THE WILL WHAT DID I GET?" Desdemona rolled her eyes "The will is in my room." Diablogata calmed down, "Oh Ok…. Wait who are the hell are you?" Desdemona answered, "Her daughter…. Who the hell are you?" Diablogata started to answer in a calm voice but by the end she was yelling, "I am her Daughter. Her Eldest Daughter. The Eldest Daughter that can kick your ass!!"

Desdemona stared at her wide-eyed "Y-Y-Y-Y-Your Diablogata." Brittaney walked out to see the meeting. "No I am the Queen of England." Diablogata said sarcastically. "Huh??" Desdemona asked. "Remind me to take you to Ningenkai." Diablogata said with a sigh. "Ok" Desdemona answered. "I see you two have met," Brittaney said when she noticed that nothing interesting was going to happen. "Yea she tried to kill me!" Desdemona said as she looks at Diablogata. "Yea well you were trespassing on my property. Yea it is mine all mine!!" Diablogata said as she started to dance around in circles and starts to smile. "No, it is split three ways," Desdemona said with a roll of her eyes. "WHAT?!" Diablogata's smile disappears. "Go and read it for your self. I gots to go." Desdemona said as she turned to leave. "Ok." Diablogata said as her and Brittaney started to go inside while Desdemona started out the front gate. "Isn't she a little young to be going out by herself?" Brittaney asked with concern. "Who cares and plus she looks like mom no one will bother her. Lets go and get the Will." Cory said dragging Brittaney inside.

Desdemona had a hooded black cloak on with the hood covering her head. She was staring at the ground so that not to show her face to the demons that inhabited the village that her family was in charge of. Four weak demons saw her and thought that it would be fun to kick her ass. They surrounded her and one said, "Dahnanana."

They both hear the Demon say the sound affect. "WTF!" Diablogata said as she turned around and took off towards them mumbling something about that being her line. Brittaney rolled her eyes and followed close behind her.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~Back With Desdemona~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

"Now you are going to cry for us." One of the demons said. Desdemona slowly lifted her head with a smirk on her face that they could still not see her face. "I was wondering when I would get to fight seeing I have been here for a week already."

Brittaney and Diablogata got out the front gate to see them picking on Desdemona. "We have to help her," Brittaney said as she started to go across the street. Diablogata stopped her and said, "I want to see what she can do first." Brittaney sighed but gave in and watched.

The demon tried to kick her in the stomach, but missed cause she was no longer there. "Where the hell did she go?" he said. "I am right behind you." Desdemona answered as she chopped his head off with her katana. "May I ask you name?" asked one of the other demons as they all bowed. "Yes and it is Desdemona!" she answered as she pulled her hood down to reveal her dark red hair. Her ears and tail were a light red (like Kurama's hair) and were tipped off with black. "OH my god she looks just like her." The demon said. Desdemona looked at him confused.

Diablogata came and said, "That was good but now…… they must die!!" She clenched her hand in to a fist and then slowly turned it upside down open and then closed it again blowing all three of the living Demons that had seen Desdemona's face and said, "Boom!" Desdemona looked at her funny and asked, "Why did you do that??" Diablogata and Brittaney laughed. "They said something that belongs to me," she answered. Desdemona looked at her wide-eyed, "Oh well ok."

"Yea I wasn't sad cause I knew her for a week before she died." Kat answered. "I was but did not show that weakness." Brittaney said. "How about our little vampire?" Yusuke asked. "Well… she was never really a mourning type of person." Brittaney answered. "Not a mourning person. NOT a mourning person my ass. WHEN WE THOUGHT YOU DIED SHE TURNED INTO A FUCKIN FLOWER CHILD!!!!" Kat said calmly until the end. "Wait... She was a flower child?" Jin and Brittaney asked at the same time. "Yeah I would have thought you knew Jin…" Kat said as she thought about it for a second. "No you were helping me with my Jagan." Kuwabara and Yusuke scratched the backs of their heads, "Huh?"

Kat rolled her eyes and answered, "Ok… lets see Brittaney `died'. Diablogata left and the flower child saga began. I went to Jin to help me get the Jagan. I got the Jagan which hurt soooooo fuckin much." Hiei just nodded with her on that one. "Any way Diablogata came back kicked my ass and almost killed me for having the Jagan. I died she some how sent me here to this god forsaken body. She did the same thing as Kurama and got to pick her parents, which explains the Hype parents. "Kat counted. "She was not very nice was she?" Kuwabara asked as he went to put an arm on Kat, who was not paying attention, but he decided not to when he heard Hiei growl.

Kat was mumbling something about evil family that used to beat her. "I vant to suck your bloud!" someone whispered in to Kuwabara's ear. He screamed and turned around to see that it was Cory. She was hanging upside down he fangs showing and her ice blue eyes staring into Kuwabara's eyes. She said calmly with emphases on the last four letters in the thing, "Hello Kuwabaka." By this time Brittaney and Kat were on the floor laughing so hard that her sides were splitting. Cory gets down and asks, "So watcha talking bout??" Kat started to signal not to tell her but no one saw. "We were talking bout your flower child phase." Botan said. Kat shook her head as she put it in to her hands Cory is now in her Flower child outfit. She was in bell-bottom jeans with dark blue fabric, added at the seams that hold the pant legs together at the sides, and a green and blue tie-dye shirt. She had small blue tinted sunglasses. "Groovy baby," she said as she gave the peace sign, "and it is not a phase it is what I am!" Kat just shook her head. "Oh ok" Botan said. "Lets just get Brittaney's history so that she can shut up," Jin said. "Ok well let see…" Brittaney said.

"Well while Cory was out becoming a vamp, I was mortally wounded and dieing on this random island. I had to be bleeding for the longest time when the nuns saved me," Brittaney began. "Didn't u think that they were penguins?" Cory said interrupting Brittaney. "They were in all black and white… and my vision was cloudy… and just shut up!" Brittaney said starting to get louder towards the end. "How were u mortally wounded?" Yusuke asked. "Well I was knife fighting…." Brittaney was interrupted by Kat screaming, "Was it with the evil cat?" Brittaney looked at her strange. "You know the killer potatoes." Kat she said this and started to talk about the killer potatoes coming back to kill us all. Brittaney and Cory were just thinking while all of the others were sweat dropping. Finally Brittaney's eyes widen and she says, "Yes I was knife fighting in the Amazon and the panther was throwing potatoes at me." Cory now understood what her sister was ranting about. "They will come back and kill us all they have already come back once." Kat screamed. Cory was so confused at this point and Brittaney was just laughing, "I think she means when I went back to get my revenge." Cory was just shaking her head at this point. "Hey haven't I heard that before?" Kuwabara asked. Kat asked, "Wait what have you heard?" Kuwabara was thinking for a while and then finally answered, "Amazon." Cory was now in her little librarian out fit with her hair in a messy bun and little glasses on the tip of her nose. "Well the Amazons are a part of Greek Mythology." Cory answered. Kat and Brittaney scream at the same time, "YOU ACTUALLY LEARNED SOMETHING IN SCHOOL!!" Yusuke just started to laugh. "Yes I did and where did u learn all of the shit?" Kuwabara said. "Well Cory here is a real Greek Mythology weird-o." Kat said. "Back to Brittaney's history." Jin said as an attempt to stop the fight that was about to break out which he was successful. "Ok lets see, I was at some rural town in Makai when I first killed a man this was after we had met Kat."
*************************************Flash back*****************************************

I had just killed a demon for trying to kill me and I was crying on the ground when Desdemona came out of the trees and asked, "Why are u crying sis?" I just look at her and then answered, "I killed a demon." She just hit her fore head with her hands and said, "You are a demon that is what you are supposed to do." Then Diablogata came out of the shadows and said, "Killing is what we are born to do Brittaney." Desdemona and me just looked at her and then Desdemona spoke up, "It is not like she likes killing and that she didn't do it any way." Diablogata just rolled her eyes and left Desdemona and me there.

"I spent most of my time at the Grand Canyon It is so peaceful there and beautiful." Brittaney finished. "I am bored," Cory said. "Why don't you invite your friends over." Brittaney said with a laugh. "What is so funny?" Cory snapped. "Oh, It is just I see who you hang out with me and my friends actually make fun of them." Brittaney said. "Wait are you one of those popular people?" Cory asked. "DON'T MAKE FUN OF THEM!!" Kat screamed as she death glared Brittaney. "Why not hmmm," Brittaney asked. "Because they protect me from anything that I need to be protected from." Kat answered.
*********************************FLASH BACK****************************************
A little Esmerelda about seven years old was skipping through the park still in her school uniform and pig tails in her hair. She was stopped by this boy, with black hair and brown eyes he pushed her and said, "Give me your money shorty." Kat got big chibby eyes and started to ask, "W-w-why?" She was surrounded by like seven or eight more little nine year olds, which included Cory. "Oh, so you have a posse huh well I can handle them." The little boy said with a smirk. "She doesn't have a posse I do!" Cory said as she and all of her friends except one started to beat the little boy senseless. The one that was not beating the little boy walked over to Kat and but his hand on her shoulder. "Are you ok Kit Kat?" he asked her. "Yeah I am ok J." she answered him as she went off skipping. Cory and all of her friends finished knocking some sense into the boy and left.

"Yea they always got your back even though you never need any help." Cory said. "I know I just didn't like fighting when they could do it for me." Kat said. She is now in her school uniform and her hair is in pigtails. Yusuke's eyes widen, "That was you." All of a sudden there was a knock at the door. Cory answered it and it was all of her friends were there, "What are you guys doing here?" Her friends all were skater boys except for the few gothic girls that could kick your ass if need be. "We should ask you the same thing I thought you lived at your parents place?" one of the guys said. They all came in and saw Kat in her pigtails. "Hey Kit Kat what's up?" one of the said and sat next to her and then he spotted Yusuke and started to beat the shit out of him saying stuff like, `What did you do to her this time you bastard.' All though Kat thought this was so funny she went up and said, "Stop J he didn't do anything." Kat said. J stopped and turned around and put his arm around Kat's shoulders, "You have grown up to be so hot." Hiei growled and Kat said, "I would not do that J my boyfriend might not like it." She said this in a baby voice. All of Cory's friends started to say things. One of them said, "Shorty's got a boyfriend. Who is it?" Cory just laughed, "Shorty is dating Shorty over there." She points to Hiei. "I don't call her Shorty any more cause she gets mad." J just laughed, "What is Shorty gonna do?" Kat got a scowl on her face, "Don't call me that ever again." All of Cory's posse gasped as J said, "Hey she got a back bone." Cory just looked at him and said, "Well she has been hanging out with me for how long now." J just nodded in agreement. J put his arm on Kat's shoulder again and this time Hiei took out his Katana and put it up to J's throat. "I would not do that if I were you." Cory said. Kat growled, "Both of you stop it now." She stormed out. Everyone just looked at her before Cory's posse said, "Yo Cory we gots to go but talk to ya later and we will talk." They all left and Kat came back in and sat down on the couch.

"Ok Kat your turn to let us know the story of when u were a bad ass!" Yusuke said with a smirk. "First of all she was not a bad ass that I know of and second of all if she has not told her sisters then what makes u think she will tell you?" Cory said as she rolled her icy blue eyes. "She gots a point there. I am not going to tell you anything that you don't already know." Kat said as she went to leave. "Oh no where the hell do you think you are going baka onna?" Hiei said as he grabbed her arm. "I am leaving." Kat snapped. "No you are going to tell your story." Brittaney said sternly. "I don't have one!" Kat snapped again. "Every one has a story Baka!" Cory said as she rolled her eyes. "Fine what ever!" Kat said as she took a seat on the couch.

"Let see I was born into a thieving clan. Everyone said that the leader was cold hearted but I did not think so. Lets see what was his name… oh yeah Youko Kurama," Kat started. Everyone, but the sisters, eyes widen. "You were born into our clan?" Kuronue and Kurama said at the same time. "No I was born into Youko Kurama's clan." She said as she rolled her eyes. "I am Youko Kurama and how come you did not recognize Kuronue?" Kurama asked. "Well when I was born my dad said that one of the leaders just died that could have been him, and you couldn't be Youko Kurama cause you died with my father. " Esmerelda said. Kurama started to remember what happened to her father and the little Neko demon that watched them both die. "OH, MY GOD you are the Neko demon that watched from the trees aren't you? I remember how your dad died and I am sorry that had to happen." Kurama said as he looked at Kat in disbelief. "Yeah, I would rather not have any one know what happened cause I did not get sympathy for the 4 years that I was alone and even when I met my mom I did not get much, and don't want it now." Kat said as she stared at the ground Kurama reluctantly agreed.

Hiei wrapped his arms around Kat and whispered in her ear, "Go on." Esmerelda sighed, "Ok……….um………… well I was taught by the best thieves. So I was really good but I wasn't allowed out on thefts because I was a young girl. While I waited for the men to get back home I trained and practice my craft of thieving. One day they went out and I followed them from afar. They got caught and everyone died. I wandered around for 4 years making a name for myself. Anyone who knew me feared me because I was on a mission to kill the ones who killed my dad. So, I basically killed any demons that got in my way. I finally found out where my mother is and went there. I wasn't always welcomed either. I had to prove that I was her real daughter, which was not easy. Nice right she didn't even tell one soul about me!" Kat finished.

"You are telling me that you went on a four year long killing spree." Brittaney said in confusion, "I expect that from Cory not you." Kat did not answer she walked out of the room. Hiei followed her close behind. "COOL!!!!" Cory screamed. "So I guess that we are not getting any more about your history." Yusuke said. "Yeah that was not in you files." Botan said, "Well actually we do not have a file on your demon lives." Brittaney and Cory looked at each other as Hiei dragged Kat back in time to hear what Botan said. So, Kat laughed nervously. Koenma appeared in teen-age form. "Hey look Jr. grew up." Yusuke said. "I would like to know why we don't have files on your demon life." Koenma said as he ignored Yusuke. "Well…… you know the day that you caught me and were harassing me," Kat said. "I DID NOT HARASS YOU, but yeah," Koenma said. "Yes you did!" Kat said as Hiei growled, "Any way I could have easily have killed you or got away and you have no idea how hard it was not to kill you." Kat said as Brittaney started to laugh non-stop. "If you killed me then my father King Enma would have killed you." Koenma said with confidence. Brittaney stopped laughing as her and Cory death glared while they scream, "IF HE KILLED HER THEN HE WOULD BE DEAD BEFORE SHE HIT THE GROUND!!!!"

Kat just laughed and continued, "Calm down… Anyway while you were harassing me they were stealing our files from you." Koenma thought about it for a while and went poof along with Botan. "I have to go see how our village is doing and get a few things I left there." Kat said as the three sisters all orbed home (their demon home).

***************************************Couple hours later********************************

The sisters orbed back, "I thought you killed him?" Brittaney said. "That was a lot harder then I thought it was going to be I cant believe that we had to go all demon form," Kat said. "We got what we went there for and now I can sleep." Cory said. They all had a bag full of stuff and went to there individual rooms. When Kat got to hers she found a sleeping Hiei. "So, Kawaii when he is asleep." She got out her pajamas and went into the bathroom to change. When she came back out Hiei was pretending to sleep. "I know that you are awake Hiei." He refused to open his eyes so she went and lied next to him. He then pinned her to the bed. "Tell how your dad died. I tried the Kitsune…" Hiei was interrupted by Kat, "The baka Kitsune better not have blabbed." Hiei started to talk once more, "No he said that I should ask you. So, I am going to make you tell me." Hiei pinned her down with more force. "Fine I will tell you god you don't have to threaten Me."

*********************************************************** Flash back*******************

I was following the group when the fight started. I jumped down to help. I start to fight. They did not expect so many guards. "Desdemona go and stay away you should not be here." My father screamed. I did as I was told. The group started to die when more and more guards started to show up. The only ones left were my dad and Kurama. "We can't hold them off any more we are wounded lets go." Youko said. As the Neko and Kitsune (Her dad and Kurama) took off as fast as they could I followed with great ease because they were injured. Kurama started to say an incantation but I could not understand what he was saying. The guards were right on their tails. They fired an arrow that hit my father right under the heart. He screamed and then collapsed when a second arrow went through his heart. Kurama looked at him and then at the guards. When he was turning to run again he saw me right before he finished the incantation and stopped dead in his tracks. I could not see what was happening cause my eyes were filled with tears and they fell to the ground. I jumped down next to him and was hit by raw power, which I absorbed. It came from my dad I think. Kurama hit the ground and I thought he was dead. I got really mad and well all of a sudden all of the guards were on fire. I sat there all alone and cried over my loss.

"And that is what happened." Kat said as she fell asleep cuddling close to Hiei. Hiei wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer (if that is even possible).

*******************************************With Brittaney ****************************

Brittaney walked into her room to find a pacing Kurama. "Kurama are you ok?" she asked with concern. "Yeah it is just I am worried you have no idea what she saw." Kurama answered. "So why don't you tell me," Brittaney said as she put her arms around his neck. "I am only going to tell you because I love you." Kurama stated before he told Brittaney the story of Kat's dad up to the part he `died.' "Oh, my god I cant believe that she watched her dad and you die that is horrible." Brittaney said as she hid her face in Kurama's bare chest. (hehehehehehe drool Brittaney drool) "It is ok my love," Kurama said as he held her close.

Cory started to go through her bag and pulling out her training outfits. "Now where did I put that hmmm?" She starts to throw everything out of her bag. Jin walks in and looks at her like she was crazy (which she is) and asks her, "What are you looking for??"
