Chapter two: Try to see the positive side.

"HIEI! HIEI!" Yusuke shouted with all his strength. Hiei had been missing for the last three days, and still no one had heard a single thing about him, except that the last time he was sawn was near the woods, so the guys had been looking for him in there for about six hours and it's starting to get dark.

"Still nothing?" Kurama came from between the bushes.

"I'm afraid not. Do you know if Kuwabara has found anything?"

"AHHHHHHHH!!!" Just as he finished his sentence Kuwabara came running screaming horrified, his foot stuck in a hive, shaking his arms desperately and being chased by a hundred of bees.

"Does that answer your question?" -_-U

"GET THEM AWAY FROM ME!!!!!"

"I guess so…" -_-U

"Whatever, I'm exhausted, we won't find Hiei tonight." Yusuke pouted and crossed his arms.

Yu…su…ke…-

"Did you heard that?" Kurama asked surprised when he heard who he thought it was calling.

"HIEI!" Yusuke shouted as he recognized the weak spiritual energy not too far away from them.

"AHHHHHHHH!! GET THEM AWAY FROM ME!!!" Kuwabara kept on running from the bees, but he didn't noticed a stone in his way. He step on it and fall making him roll and roll between the bushes because he hive in his foot won't let him stop. "AHHH!!"

"KUWABARA!! WE HAVE NO TIME FOR THIS!!" Yusuke growled as he and Kurama ran after hin until Kuwabara hit a tree with his face.

"Ouch…-__-"

"Great Kuwabara, simply great." Yusuke frowned looking around him, they were outside the woods. "Now what?"

"Now we help him."

"Uh?" Yusuke asked confused.

"Look". Kurama pointed at Hiei who was still sealed standing motionless a few feet away from them.

"Hiei!!" They approached to the fire demon that was near fainting.

"What happened shrimp?!" Kuwabara asked still a little sore from the earlier incident.

"Is that…" Kurama stared at the talisman.

" What-are-you-waiting-for…" Hiei mumbled with the few strength he was left. He was so weak he could barely recognize them if ain't weren't fpr their ki's.

"Kuwabara! Take that off!" Kurama said to him coldly.

"Uh? You mean this?" Kuwabara pointed at the talisman, looking confused at Kurama.

"WHAT THE HECK'S THAT!!!"

"That Yusuke is a magical talisman that seals Youkais."

"Well…" Kuwabara removed the piece of paper and immediately Hiei collapsed into his arms. He hadn't eat, drink, sleep or even move in the past 3 days with that spell sucking his energy out of him. Fading was lucky.

That night at Kuwabaras' house…

Yusuke and the rest were in Kuwabara's room as Hiei rested in his bed trying to recover himself.

"So you're telling us that chick immobilized you fro 3 whole days?"

"Are you retarded or what? That's exactly what I said." Hiei growled at Yusuke who frowned back at him.

"Well, she might had sucked your energy out but your attitude remains the same." ¬¬

"Hn." Hiei turned his face away.

"So what was she? A maiko?"

"Not a simple maiko." Kurama said. "She was a demon hunter."

"Uh?"

"Demon what?"

"A demon hunter. The spell she used in Hiei is only used by them, but I thought there were no more left here in Ningenkai".

"Apparently there are, and we need to know what she was apt to. Do you think you could recognize her if we look for her?"

"Possibly". Hiei closed his eyes. "Although I didn't see all their faces, I never forget a Ki, specially from enemies."

"Demon Hunters are supposed to be on our side, they're not exactly our enemies."

"Excuse me Kurama, but they attacked Hiei, and in what respects to me that makes them our enemies." Yusuke took his jacket and out it on. "Now, mission accomplished. I'm done. I'm back home. See ya." Ha said angrily and shut the door closed behind him.

"Poor Yusuke, he's still hurt…"

"Yeah, you should see him in school. It's like he's dead…" Kuwabara said worriedly. "Anyway, you should better go Kurama, It's getting late. Shiziru and I will take care of the shrimp." Kuwabara said and both glanced back at the sleeping youkai in Kazuma's bed.

"I suppose you are right Kuwabara. See you then." The red head said politely and exited the room quietly.

City's streets…

A young girl stares at the exhibition window from a lingerie boutique. Her expression is cold for her young face. Her skin is as white as the moon and her electric pink eyes shine with a strange glimmer. Soft cascades of deep black curls fall to her nape. Her arms are crossed and the wind blows softly, playing with her hair and the skirt of her private Jr. High uniform.

She stares curiously at a black lace outfit that's quite provocative. A faint smirk is curved in her lips.

"Bet that one would look great on ya."

She rolls her eyes at the sly and her face meets the voices owner. Its "Sakura" wearing her sailor uniform.

"Hi gorgeous, haven't' see ya in a couple of days." Sakura, better known as Hayabusa Sora winked an eye to the raven.

"For the last time Hayabusa, I'm not gay…"

"So? Neither am I." The brunette grinned. "I just recognize beauty when I see it. For example you Setsuna…" She said seductively taking a string of the raven's hair in her hand and making tha last one get even paler.

"HAYABUSA!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!"

"HEY! I'm just kidding!!" She burst into laughs and the raven started shivering in anger.

"OH DAMN YOU STUPID HUMAN WOMAN!! HOW DARE YOU TREAT ME LIKE THAT!!" She yelled hysterically and the brunette snickered.

"You look so cute when you are angry!!"

"SHUT UP!!" Setsuna grabbed her by her neck and shook her violently.

-Setsuna. Sora…- A female voice echoed in both girls minds. Setsuna growled and let go Sora's neck, who was turning blue due the lack of air.

"No need to be aggressive." She demon hunter said painting.

-Would you please stop such a childish behavior. We've found the ningen trafficants, Hokuto's after them across the city, go help her…­- Both girls nodded and looked at each other.

"So babe? Ready to get back at work?" Sora smirked at her, her hands still trying to soothe the pain in her neck.

Setsuna rolled her eyes.

"One of this days ningen, I will rip off that annoying tongue of yours and watch you bleed…" Setsuna said guiding Sora to a dark alley.

"Why don't you bite it off? I know you wanna!!"

"Won't you just give up!!?" Setsuna growled showing a pair of sharp fangs. Then she extended her hand to Sora to take it. "Now take it before I change my mind and make you walk"

"Ou…it's getting dark!! Would you really make me go alone to the other side of the city?" Sora whimpered with sheepish eyes.

"ZIPPIT!" She said squeezing Sora's hand strongly. She was in pain.

"This is going to be a long trip…That means you…" The raven moaned in pain and arched her back." Yeah, you're going to…You Ok?" Sora said concerned at the suffering expression in her friend's face. "Does it hurts that much?"

Setsuna smirked.

"Like a thousand hells burning your flesh…" With a painful scream she arched her back again and two bat wings ripped the fabric of her blouse and jacket, splashing a little blood in the walls. "Comes with being an incomplete being…" She smiled cynically glancing at Sora.

The brunette smiled and hugged Setsuna, wrapping her arms around the Yasha's waist.

"You know? I could always seal your demon blood. It would be temporally, but it would heal you for a while…"

"I'll consider that offer when mating season arrives…" She said wrapping her arms around Sora's waist, the demon hunter was a few inches taller than herself.

She then floated in the air and flapped her wing strongly. Then they were gone, camouflaging their selves with the shadows of the night.

Meiou High.

The paper door opened slowly and Kurama waved politely to his classmates.

"Hey! Minamino! Where've you been?" One of the boys asked. Kurama had been missing school the since Hiei disappeared. It wasn't normal for the best student in the whole school to be absent. (Except when a mission required so).

"A good friend of mine needed me and I had to help him." He said calmly as he sat down in his chair next to the window that had a view to the school garden. "Did I miss anything good?"

"Dude! You had to be here!! Mr. Yoshida got all psycho in the middle of Bio class yelling that a giant and a bat girl destroyed his car fighting against monsters!! Can you believe it?!" poor man, I almost fell sorry for him!!"

-A giant and a bat girl fighting monsters…it can't be good…-

"Whatever, does anyone knows what happened to him?"

"He was fired." A girl answered the boy's question. "We've been assigned to a new teacher. Miss Himawari Kitsune, I think."

"Kitsune Himawari?" A boy said mockingly. "What kind of name is that? Sound so old!! Like 500 years or so!! JAJAJAJAJA!! Don't' you think so Minamino?"

"Well…ñ_ñU"

"Leave him alone Yamada!!" The girl cried. "You know Minamino-san is too polite to make fun of the new teacher like that!! That's why girls love him!!"

"Thanks Kimura, I guess…" Kurama said sweatdropping.

The school bell rang and soon the classroom was full with impatient teenagers. Except for Kurama who was to busy trying to figure out what relation could Hiei's attack and his ex-teacher breakdown could have. His fox-intuition told him they were related somehow…

But his fox senses also told him something else. Kurama took a deep breathe as an exquisite sunflower scent was approaching. Suddenly the sound of the door sliding open, high heels thumping against the floor and the gaping faces of his male classmates brought him back to reality.

"Good morning. I'm Miss Himawari Kitsune, and I'll be your teacher from now and on."

She was stunning. Not older than 22, a gorgeous young woman wearing a mini skirt navy blue suit and black heels stared with examination to the students. Her mid-length golden bronze hair fell loose to her shoulders and her bangs covered almost all her forehead, framing her deep Prussian blue eyes that were almost expressionless and gave her a mysterious aura.

Her examining eyes were fixated in Kurama that gave in return the same look. There was something about this woman, he couldn't put his finger on it, but something simply didn't feel right.

She said nothing more. She simply turned around and started writing in the board, glancing quickly at Kurama form the corner of her eye. She knew perfectly who he was. Having to be so close to the legendary thief was something she wouldn't have expected even in a hundred years.

A park…

Kurama and Yusuke were sitting in a bench waiting for Kuwabara and Hiei. A very uncomfortable silence filled the place.

"Yokimura! Wait for us!" Giggling girl voices came from not to far and several meters away from them were Keiko and her girlfriends.

Yusuke looked down and fisted to his pants. It hurt like hell to see her, but he wouldn't admit it.. He had to be strong, he couldn't show pain. That would only make thing worst. Last thing he needed was pity.

"Yusuke? Kurama?…" Keiko said hesitantly when she noticed the two boys, wondering if she should approach or not.

"What did you say Yokimura?" One of the girls asked.

"Uh?" Keiko shook her head. "No, nothing."

"Hey? Isnt' that Urameshi? Your ex-boyfriend?"

Keiko nodded sadly. "Yes…he is.."

"Believe me Yokimura, you did the right thing by dumping him."

"Yeah! You're to good for him. Boys like him only drown you with them. You have a bright future, he would be lucky if ends selling noodles in downtown."

"I guess…you're right." Keiko sighed. But if it was the right thing to do, why didn't it feel like that…

"Let's keep going, should we?"

"Yes." Keiko said with a fake smile, glanced back at Yusuke and then left with the girls.

"Are you Ok Yusuke?" Kurama said worried about his friend.

"Will survive." He said with a smirk that uselessly tried to hide his true feelings. "Know what? Suddenly I feel like having a cigar. I know where to get'em, Want one?" Kurama nodded no. "Yeah, I supposed. Well, when Kuwabara and Hiei arrive, tell'em I'll be back soon."

Kurama closed his eyes and smiled as Yusuke walked away. He wasn't going to get a cigar. He had stopped drinking and smoking since Keiko begged him to, and he had made her a promise. It didn't matter if they weren't together anymore. A promise was a promise. He just wanted to be alone for a while…

"GODS!! I FORGOT!!" Kurama slapped himself mentally as he remembered he hadn't mentioned a thing to Yusuke about the information he had about giants and bat girls appearing in town.

"Setsuna?"

"What."

"Nothing, I just wanted to see how you reacted. " ;D

"¬¬" The Yasha growled showing her fangs and Sora giggled nervously.

"So, ya sure this is where Hanasaki wanted us to meet?" She asked as they walked trough the aisles of a building.

"I am sure." Setsuna said begged as they found the room they had been told. "Why are you doubting?"

"Well…" Sora pointed at the sign over the door.

-TEACHER'S LOUNGE-

"So?"

"SO!! TEAHCER'S LOUNGE!! It's like entering the freaking Lyon's Den!! I'm not stepping a foot inside!!" Sora pouted and Setsuna rolled her eyes to the roof. She opened the door of the Teacher's Lounge in Meiou High and several surprised eyes stared at the two girls wearing each one a different school uniform that WASN'T THEIRS.

"Uh, ladies? You are not supposed to be here." A teacher said to them.

"HEY! It wasn't my idea!!" Sora crossed her arms, making the raven sigh exasperated.

"Miss Himawari requested our presence."

"And who exactly are you two to show up in here like that?" Another teacher shouted not very pleased.

"That's none of your business, I'm afraid." Setsuna said coldly.

"Babe!!" Sora giggled nervously and leaned to her ear. "DON'T DO THAT!!DON'T MESS UP WITH A TEAHCER!! THEY ARE LIKE A MAFIA!! GET ONE AGAISNT YOU AND YOUR TOASTED FOR LIFE!!"

"Now, ladies, I suggest you to return around and walk away." He said making a gesture with his hands.

"What if I don't want to…" Setsuna showed her fangs and her bright electric pink eyes were slowly turning silver shaded.

"No babe! Not the silvery eyes hypno thingy…" -__- Sora sighed anticipating what her partner was apt to.

"It's not necessary Mr. Ishida. She's my sister." Both girls and the teacher turned to look at Kitsune who was calmly drinking from her cup of coffee.

"Yo-your sister?" Mr. Ishida said not very convinced. Setsuna's eyes were back to normal.

"Yes, she is. Now if you excuse us, Imouto, Sora-chan, come with me plase."

The girls obeyed, not before Sora turned and stuck her tongue to Mr. Ishida.

"Insolent brat." He mumbled furious as the three females exited the room.

"Sister eh? That was a good one. Even I almost believed it!! Sora giggled.

"I needed to come up with something. This is my first day here, I don't want any troubles." Kitsune said coldly.

"I still…"Setsuna said taking one of her black curls within her fingers. "…don't understand why have you lowered yourself like this, working for humans…"

"OUCH!" Sora complained.

"That's simple." The older woman smiled sadly as she guided them to an empty classroom. "Peaceful life in nigenkai isn't cheap. Besides…" She paused as slid the door open. "I can't complain." She closed the door behind them when Setsuna and Sora entered. "After all, I was once human…"

"Uh….deep Kistune wisdom. Are all youkais that smart?" Sora asked curiously.

"It still denigrates."

"Well Setsuna, it might be, but it comes with some advantages that honestly I didn't expected."

"What do you mean?"

Kitsune looked around to make sure there was no one near.

"Sora, make me the favor please." Hayabusa nodded, and joining her hands in an odd position while murmuring some spell, she built a spiritual energy barrier in the classroom.

Kitsune stood still as a cloud of silver fog appeared around her. She closed her eyes, and when opened again, her rough Prussian eyes had turned into a mysterious and seductive violet. Her hair changed into a more elaborated hairstyle and turned almost as black as Setsuna's. Silver fox ears were growing from her head and a lustrous silver fox tail born from her lower hip. Her clothes had also changed. Now she was wearing a plane lilac sleeveless shirt (like Hiei's) and a pink piece of clothing similar to an obi. Her long and toned legs were covered by black leather trousers (remember Sango's outfit?) and traditional japanese sandals were instead of her high heels. Kitsune Himawari had transformed into her true-self, she was now Hanasaki…

The Kitsune took a deep breathe. Having to use all that energy to maintain the figure of her once human form wasn't easy at all.

"Look at the list in the table." She commanded. Sora took it and started reading it, when to familiar Kanjis appeared.

"Minamino Suichi…" She thought. "Sound familiar…."

"You have to bee kidding me." Setsuna murmured, eyes wide open. She turned to look at Hanasaki, and the Kitsune made an affirmative gesture. "Damn it! Now it would be even harder!!"

"I won't be so sure about that.." Hanasaki smirked. "This could be really good for us…"

"What thing?" Sora tilted her head confused. "Who's this guy?"

"DON'T YOU TELL ME YOU INSIGNIFICANT HUMAN GIRL YOU CAN NOT IDENTIFIE THAT NAME!"

"Ah….nope. ñ_ñU" She said unworriedly and Setsuna almost threw herself against her, but Hanasaki's freezing gaze stopped her.

"Now what!!" The yasha growled. "We already bumped with a Tantei!! Now this!"

"Oh!! I remember" Sora hit the palm of her hand with her other fist in "as a matter of fact" way. "Suichi Minamino, isn't that the human name for-"

"Youko Kurama. " Sora was interrupted by Hanasaki's smirking face. She leaned down in the desk

"Well, that's something good, isn't it?" Sora asked not really wanting to.

"As we speak Hokuto is out there by herself, with four Reikai Tantei that are looking for the Jagan's attackers, that means US. YOU TELL ME IF IT IS SOMETHING GOOD!" Setsuna was note very happy.

"Relax." Hanasaki said looking out by the window. "Hokuto knows how to take care of herself…"

Both teenagers joined Hanasaki in admiring the sunset, hoping that everything would be Ok…
