Rescue me!

Reina woke again to a sunny day even though her heart did not feel that way. She wondered if she could ever be happy again. She rose from her mat and stretched out a little bit. Suddenly a guard came and opened the door.

“Get over here! The boss wants to see you,” he yelled. She obediently walked as he pushed her telling her to go faster. This wasn't according to her normal schedule. Something must have come up or she was in trouble of some sort. They walked through many halls just to get to the boss' den. He was a very rich and greedy demon. As they entered she saw him. He was strangely a handsome man for a demon, but she never thought of him anything more that that. Silver hair covered his head as his green eyes stared at her. She didn't flinch or shiver because she knew how to act around him. Well, she has been doing this for two years now so she should know.

“Well, well, well, how has our princess been doing?” he slyly asked her. She didn't answer or look at him. One of the guards slapped her, but she didn't care anymore. “Now, now, it's ok. If she doesn't want to talk then she doesn't have to right princess?” Reina knew that he was taunting her, yet like always she bit her tongue. “The reason I have brought you hear now is that we have heard that the fool Koenma has sent some of his lackeys to rescue you.” He spoke as he looked out the window. Her head raised a bit startled that people were coming to get her. The boss looked at her and smirked knowing that she would look up. “Anyway, we will let them come here but they'll have a little surprise in store for them. That is all. Take her away.” The guards forcefully led her back to her cell.

I can't believe that people are now coming. It took them long enough to let them know I was gone missing. She thought angrily. For two years she waited patiently and NOW they start to worry about her. This is just like my uncle and aunt to do. They never care about me anyway. What different are these new people? She looked out the window again. The sun was covered in the clouds just like she was covered in this musty tower. Please rescue me!
