"Mom, Dad!!!" I screamed as my parents were struck down in front of me.

"No!!!!!!" I sobbed.

There was blood everywhere. On the walls, on the floor, and on the furniture. Every inch of our living room was covered in blood. The murderer just laughed and continued to beat my parents.

I woke up in a cold sweat.

"Not that dream again" I mumbled.

Those dreams have haunted me in my sleep for the past year.

Last year, around my sixteenth birthday, someone had found a way into our house and killed my parents in cold blood, right before my eyes. That was too much for me and something in my brain snapped.

The police found me the next morning, after a neighbor called the police after she said she heard noises coming from the house last night. My eyes were emotionless and glazed over. My skin was pale and I was in a trance or something like that. They took me to the hospital. The doctors said I had a disorder in my brain and I needed to go to a mental hospital for treatment.

About two weeks after I moved in I began to see and hear things. They had to move me into my own room. They gave me special treatment. I began to make progress, slowly, but I did.

I've been here about a year now. They said I've been doing great. But I still those horrifying dreams. I relive that day every night in my dreams. I just wish they would stop.
