SM: Vedui' fellow YYH fan people ^_^ This is SaintMe, fabled authoress of many classic *cough* DBZ fics! I'm here to try my hand at my most recent anime obsession.
TheBoy: As if you aren't obsessed with enough things. DBZ, AnK, bubble gum, paper air planes, feet, track lighting, small shiny objects…
SM: O_o… er… right…*looks around nervously*
Anyway, I hope ya'll like this little fic of mine… I want to apologize if I screw up ANY names, places… you know, whatever there is to mess up ^_^ I have a tendency to do that, ya know…
TheBoy: Once again, you have managed to stumble across an understatement.
SM: Kiss my what now?
TheBoy: Whatever… get on with the warnings so I can head down to the bar already… its ten dollar hooker night!
SM: *blinks and shakes her head*
WARNING: This fic is of the Yaoi persuasion. There will most definitely be LIME, LEMON, swearing, violence, picking on a certain vertically challenged Jaganishi, mind control… you know, typical YYH stuff… with my own pretty little twists ^_^
If you aren't interested in ANY of the above mentioned situations, or if you are below the age of 17, you are SO in the wrong place… move your little chibi butt outta here before I gotta kick you!
Thank you.

The night was surprisingly cool, an icy breeze floating through the treetops of the old city park. Hiei shivered involuntarily as his ruby colored eyes slowly slid open. Tightening the hold he already had around his narrow torso, he contemplated the reason he had awoken in the first place. It couldn't have been from the cold; he had slept in trees much further north than this one, up in the mountains during the dead of winter no less. Besides, the chill never really bothered him to begin with. His next logical reasoning was that perhaps there was some danger near by, but he brushed that away quickly. If there was a threat to him, he would have woken quickly, sharp and furious. But the way he had been pulled from his slumber was slow and easy; almost lazy in a way. Confusion again crossed his face as the third and last explanation surfaced. The only other time that Hiei would rouse during the night was if he had one of those haunting dreams he often fell witness too, but he had no recollection of such a nightmare.
Shifting to a more comfortable position, he allowed himself a quick glance at his surroundings. This park was one of his more visited sleeping points. Barely anyone visited during the day, and especially not the night. The now wildly growing trees were covered in a healthy moss, their branches low and gnarled, nearly reaching the ground, giving the park a haunted look during moonlit nights. The soft mosses covered the scattered rocks and boulders, though they were barely visible between the tall shoots of wild grasses and even wilder flowers. And, hiding neatly between a group of three trees, one of which Hiei had chosen to sleep in, was a small pond. The water was murky and green, smelling slightly of lichen and mold, but held a natural beauty all its own, with its floating pink lilies and up shooting reeds. This was the closest to the wild that one could get, while still within city limits.
And it was then, while looking down at the pond, that Hiei saw the reason for his waking.
He was startled at first, cursing himself for not sensing her sooner, but all thought was lost as he watched the ghostly apparition. She stood in the center of the pond, the tips of her toes breaking the glass like surface in minimal ripples of shining moonlight. Her arms were stretched out, palms up, face turned towards the silver of the moon as if she were drinking in its light. Her dress was of the purest white, fluttering about her slim body, hugging supple curves. Long blonde hair also danced on the air, kissing her cheeks in an almost loving manner. Pale, almost translucent skin seemed to glow under the gentle caress of Ningenkai's single satellite. Hiei held his breath, eyes wide in deep interest. He didn't even register that there was no longer any wind to playfully dance through those locks of gold…
Very slowly, the strange woman lowered her arms and head, eyes still closed as she gently lifted her skirts to spare them from becoming wet. She raised one of her feet, toe still pointed, and again leaned her upper body back. And Hiei watched in utter amazement as her body slowly turned a full circle, before she switched to her other foot. He realized, gradually, that she was dancing.
He felt his face soften just a little as a contented smile found its way to her fair face, seeming to light it up in the most beautiful way. Hiei finally acknowledged… beautiful.
Suddenly, her movements stopped, and she opened her eyes, facing quickly to the tree Hiei was perched in. His own eyes widened in disbelief as her gaze locked with his. Her eyes… they were… Hiei wanted nothing more than to bolt, leave as quickly as possible, but something kept him perfectly still, keeping visual contact with this strange woman. Neither seemed to move for an eternity, the stillness between them almost overwhelming. Then, she smiled at him, picking up her skirts and tip toeing her way across the water until she reached shore, directly under Hiei's tree. She smoothed her dress, then raised a slender finger to press against her lips, indicating a need for silence. It wasn't as though Hiei had anything to say; not that he would if he could even think of a single word to utter.
She cocked her head to the side, examining him quizzically, her hands now resting on her slim hips. Hiei felt himself shrinking further against the tree, completely confused as to what caused this sudden need for escape. Her energy was nothing compared to his; he could crush her without so much as the blink of an eye. But her gaze kept him pinned, unable to flee. There was no way out.
He was stunned when he suddenly found those eyes frighteningly close to him, merely inches away in fact, as she held herself aloft in the air before him. She was…flying? The smile never left her as she reached out those small hands to his face, circling with a gentle touch. He shivered unexpectedly; her skin was colder than ice, but he felt almost comforted by her touch. She slowly drew his face towards hers until their foreheads where almost touching. Her stare bore into his, as though she were searching for something deep within. The smile on her lips widened and she looked suddenly enlightened.
"Esta, ar' meles ten' i'-Ronyo vee' lle irma…Naur Rauko."
Her voice was ethereal, almost as though it were a simple whisper of the wind, as her breathe brushed across his lips. Hiei stared at her, his brows narrowed in his utter confusion. What language was that? He didn't have time to consider those thoughts as she brought his face down gently, and pressed her ghost like lips to the covering on his Jagan. That simple touch was like lightning through his entire being, the most pleasant jolts of feather light caresses to each nerve ending that he possessed. Hiei's eyes closed and he breathed a sigh of flawless ecstasy, his small body arching up as the waves of boundless pleasure washed through him. He felt light, like he himself was flying, without a care in the world. Very slowly, he recognized that he was gently floating down towards the planet, and he couldn't help the breathe of peace that he exhaled. The woman pulled away then, only to have Hiei catch her wrists and turn her back towards him.
"Who are you?" he was shocked at his own voice; it was light, almost sleepy.
The woman smiled again, placing one hand back to his cheek in an almost wistful manner, her eyes echoing a shadow of regret.
"Kaima. Kaimel en' ho; ar' mela."
She pulled away again, fingertips brushing ever so softly against Hiei's chilled skin. He watched with large, confused eyes, as she wrapped those arms around her middle, closed those unnatural eyes, her head bowed. A strangle light surrounded her, slowly streaming its way up and around, curling about her limbs, stringing through that fine hair, until it consumed her completely. Then, she was gone.
Hiei had barely time to think before darkness claimed him.

Hiei found himself admiring the Fox from his perch outside the demon's bedroom window. Kurama was currently buried within a book, eyes looking intent as one hand mechanically reached for the glass of water sitting on his nightstand. He took a slow sip, his attention never wavering from the literature before him. Hiei stared harder, watching with close scrutiny at how the Fox's lips touched the rim of the glass, how the water slid easily between and into his mouth. The glass was pulled away, and bright red eyes followed the slow movement of the deep swallow. Hiei felt a whine of jealousy rise in his chest as a pink tongue darted out, catching a small drip of excess water from those full lips, then to the edge of the glass for another long swallow.
Goodness, did the Fox do everything this sensually? He made the simple act of drinking a glass of water look positively decadent. Each swallow, each movement of his lips and throat gave the impression that Kurama was savoring the finest wine this world had to offer. He seemed completely blissful, as though he had tasted the finest of ambrosia. Hiei could only think of one word to describe this… Sinful.
Crawling further out on the branch to get a better look at his beautiful Fox, Hiei felt a familiar rush of fire in his belly as the Ningen form before him lay the book on his lap and raised his arms above his pretty little head in a luxurious stretch. Emerald eyes closed tightly as the fists above him shook, the protesting muscles tensing, then easing their hold as the red head slumped down in his bed. Hiei found himself smiling. It was rare that he caught the Fox in such a defenseless moment.
Hopping from his perch, Hiei pushed open the window and crouched on the sill. Kurama turned to him, and that beautiful smile touched his face. Without a word, the Fox turned down the blankets and scooted himself over, patting the empty space next to him. Hiei took the offer in the same silence, sliding comfortably next to his companion. Suddenly, darkness washed over them both, and Hiei could scarcely see his own hand through the dim.
But there was touching… soft, tender hands sliding through his hair… down his shoulders… across his now naked chest… Breathless whispers in the night… hot air against his exposed flesh, making the tiny hairs all over his body rise with his desire. He could taste… Fox… He could feel… Hands… hands where everywhere…
What was he doing? Why was he locked in this intimacy with Kurama of all people? Damnit, why couldn't he just stop?
But mostly, why didn't he want to?
"Fox…" he heard himself whisper, though his voice sounded far, far away.
Teeth… sharp, but delicate teeth… grazing his chest… his nipples… his naval…
Oh Gods… The hands were everywhere… touching… teasing… tickling… worshipping… He arched into the warmth surrounding him, begging for some kind of end to this madness… this madness he had willing brought himself into…
"Kur..ama.."
"Aishiteru… aishiteru, Hiei…."
The small Fire Demon closed his eyes now, swallowed up in the darkness and the heat, his chest feeling as though it would burst at any moment. Those words…. Those words were so…
"Hiei…"
Never before had he felt so free, so wanted, so safe.
"Hiei…?"
He could drown in these arms for all eternity.
"Hiei!"

Hiei's eyes opened quickly, immediately searching out the disturbance of his sleep, and he glared when he recognized Urameshi's face so many feet below him.
"Damn man, you were really out."
"Hn. What do you want."
Yuuske gave Hiei a glare right back, stuffing his hands in his pockets. Dang it, he was already having a rotten morning, he did not need to deal with pissy little Fire demons.
"Looks like we have another assignment. Koenma wants us in his office about…" he checked his watch, "Fifteen minutes ago."
Hiei snorted. How typical. Ruin a perfectly good REM cycle…

"Koenma sir, are you sure she's dangerous?" Botan asked as she, Koenma and George stared at the large screen on the opposite wall, where a still picture of a pretty young woman stared back at them.
"Quite certain. There is good reason why the Dream Weavers where sealed away you know." Koenma answered in his usual, unworried, "I know everything and you don't" tone. Botan cast a sideways glance at him, still uncertain. She didn't look terribly impending. She couldn't honestly fathom how her powers caused such concern.
"This better be good, Koenma!" came the harsh yell of Yuuske as he and his teammates stepped through the doorway. Koenma glared at the youth, but held his tongue. There were more important matters to attend to rather than banter with the boy.
"This, gentlemen, is your next assignment."
All turned towards the screen, shock clearly written on their faces. Most of all, Hiei's.
"We have to go fight a girl?" Kuwabara yelled in disgust. His thoughts flitted back to when he and Yuuske had fought the Demon Triad, and faintly remembered that he owed Urameshi a sound pounding…
"That is no ordinary girl, Kuwabara. She's a Dream Weaver, one of the most dangerous Free Magic apparitions ever come across."
"She doesn't look so tough." Yuuske growled, leaning against the young God's desk casually.
"Her strength does not lie in physical force. I'm sure you all know what a Succubus is?"
Silence filled the room, and Koenma rolled his eyes.
"A Succubus, you idiot Ningens, is a Dream Demon. They feed off the souls of human men through their dreams, fulfilling every wish desired during their slumber. In return, they take their lives as well as their spirit, condemning them to eternal nothingness." Hiei answered, receiving strange looks from Kuwabara and Yuuske.
"So she's a Succubus?"
"No. A Dream Weaver does not feed off of souls, Yuuske. They gain what they desire through mind manipulation. They can warp a human, and demon's, subconscious through their dreams, forcing them to anything they wish." Koenma answered with a heavy sigh, clicking off the screen and leaning back in his chair.
"So what's the problem?" Kuwabara asked, completely shocked when a rubber stamper connected with his forehead.
"The problem is that the Dream Weavers were locked away in purgatory for centuries for the safety of the human race. This one escaped somehow, and there's no telling what she will do! You need to apprehend her and bring her back here so we can put her back where she belongs!" Keonma's face turned seven shades of enraged red, asking himself once again why he even bothered to put up with these people. With that said, Botan escorted the group out.
~*@*~*@*~*@*~*@*~*@*~*@*~
"So what do we do?" Kurama asked as they stood in front of Yuuske's home.
"I don't know. What's the best way to track a Dream Weaver?"
They all cast their eyes down, none sure of the answer to that. A sudden snort alerted them and all eyes turned to Hiei.
"Idiots. No one here knows anything about the Dream Weavers. How do you expect to come up with a plan for capture when you do not know your enemy?"
"You sound pretty sure of yourself, runt. You know something we don't?"
Hiei snarled at the tall Ningen, quite prepared to give him the beating of his life, when he felt a warm hand upon his shoulder. He turned to looked into the bright eyes of Kurama, and his memory came flooding back. Those hands… all over his body… Sinful.
"I suggest we do not continue the bickering and pool our ideas."
"Hn. You do whatever you want. I have business." Hiei cast a daring glance at his team, then flittered away. Yuuske shook his head.
"That guy'll never change."
