Chapter One
I Stand Alone
Ariyawna POV
My name is Ariyawna Majors.
I stand alone on the Tokyo Tower watching the sunset slowly decend over the horizon. A light breeze blows in my face as I close my eyes and feel it's cool ness.
I feel like I don't belong in this world, I can feel something that's dying to get out of me some sort of darkness overwhelming me, I also feel something coming from my forehead like some unknown presents or something.
What also scares me that I accidently egnight things out of nowhere with my hands, I know that this strange being is trying to get out, and it's coming out sometime soon. Once it's out I can't control it, it's going to take over my body, the only thing that I can gain control is some one knocks me unconscious.
Everyday I feel some one watching me, my every move that I make. I feel it's presents somewhere behind me. I then smiled and closed my eyes as I spoke to it.
"Ok you can come out now, I can sense your presents."
The person showed it's presents with it's arms crossed. I turned around and looked at him with wide eyes. He wore dark clothing with a mediam sized white collar, his eyes were some sort of reddish brown, he wore a white band around his forehead, the intence flaming black-blue hair. (Think Vegeta...)
"Who are you, and why do you follow me everywhere I go?"
The man looked at me with his emotionless eyes and spoke.
"I know who you are..."
My eyes went wide of interest, he knows what I am! But how do I know it's not a trick?
"Heh, like I'm going to trust you, I trusted a few already and betrade me, so what you think I'm going to trust you?"
"You fought other demons?"
"Of course what do you think I am weak? I know how to wield a sword, I know how to fight; even a boy challenged me and still lost. Even though he does go to my school, he just thinks he's so cool that he only died for almost twenty four hours, and get special powers thinks he's more powerful and strong, then he thinks that a spirt gun will damage me? How pathetic."
"Yes pathetic indeed, I fought him once and lost..."
"Haha! You lost to a weakling like that!? You fool! Then you too are a weakling!"
The man smirked at me.
"Yes I was, that was when I was possessed by the spirit sword which I stole from the spirit world. Yet that shrimp of a human pulled a trick on me, I used my spiritual power on him and yet he used the spiritual mirror to bounce it back to me, yes I was a fool for falling for it. I was in my demon form and could not control it, and yet he set me free of the darkness inside of me, then I decided to join his so called posse and become a spirit detective."
Spirit detective? That boy Urameshi that I fought with a couple of days ago called himself a spirit detective also. He also said that he came for the spiritual ring that once was my mothers why does he want it so?
"Then tell me this, why does that boy want my spiritual ring?"
"We need it because it was stolen from the spiritual world long ago, it holds great power that could destroy the world."
"I know, my father told me everything... How he and mother stoled it..."
"You're the daughter of the great fire demon Miriana!?"
"That was my mothers name how did you know!?"
This man knows my mothers name!? She died giving birth to me! That was sixteen years ago!
"Your mother was part of my mothers clan, she was very wise to us. Yet we were seperated by a powerful demon named Tikimaru. Part of the clan went seprate ways while your mother was lost to us all; until one day she trusts another demon named Bakariu that killed many others, even humans.
Together they stole a spiritual fragment that can destroy the whole planet, my mother was angry that she betrade us and yet we could not do anything to stop her for she was with a powerful demon that would destroy us all. Then a month later we heard that she died of giving birth to a young girl, then I was born a day later with a twin sister that I never knew I had."
"You mean Yukina?" I asked ignoring my mothers disobediance.
"How did you know that!? Do you know where she is!? Tell me now!!" The man yelled as he grabbed hold of her colar.
I gave a small smirk at him to make him more angrier.
"Perhaps..."
I feel his grip getting tighter on my colar as he pulled me closer to his face.
"That's not a good enough answer for me, tell me where she is or I will kill you..."
"You're not really smart are you? If you kill me you wouldn't know where to find your sister."
I could feel him getting angrier, I could tell he wasn't going to let go of me. So I did the only thing I could think of. I bent down and kissed him, I smiled when he let go of me in shock, and saw the slight blush underneath his beautiful reddish-brown eyes as he stared at me threatingly.
"If your trying to get me to join you and your so called posse, I'm sorry mr. darkman I believe I cannot do that. As you can see I stand alone; If you want me to join you and find your sister, your going to have to catch me first."
I smiled as I stepped back and closed my eyes and fell backwards down the tower.
