'whats that?' Yusuke asked pulling the girls arm towards him.
there were 3 deep tan marks embedded in both of her pale wrist. they looked like they were either burns or small circular cut marks.
she ripped her arm out of his hands. 'don't ever touch me!' she demanded with an angry look on her face.
'sorry.' Yusuke said sincerely. 'i didn't know.'
'I'm sorry i snapped at you.'
'you have them on your neck too.' Kuwabara pointed out.
'I'm quite aware of this.' she yelled aggervated.
hiei looked over and examined her for a second but when she looked at him he turned his head. 'hn.' he walked out of the room and proceeded to walk out the front door.
there were some on her neck, six small circle marks lined the side of her neck, three in a diagonal row from about an two inches below her ear and three about 4 inches from the botom of the last of the first three marks in a diagonal row.
'whats his problem?' she asked confused.
'hiei is... different.' kurama explained in a low tone of voice. 'please excuse him.' he pleaded.
aidan stood up from the floor where they all sat. 'i will be right back.'
'wait. aidan?' yusuke stood up beside her. 'what happened?'
aidan looked at him for a minute. 'i dont remember.' she replied quietly as she walked out the door.

~*~ Yu Yu Hakusho ~*~

'it will only hurt for a second.' the tall man said to the crying young girl. she held her wrist as he spoke. 'dont be such a crybaby.' the tall man knelt down to her level. 'does it really hurt that badly?'
the small girl shook her head up and down. 'it burns.' she cried.
the man leaned close to her and pushed a needle into her other wrist. he muffled the girls screams as she squirmed in his arms. 'stop crying. Its not that bad.'
'Yesh it isssssh.' she cried out but her voice was muffled by the mans big hands.

~*~ Yu Yu Hakusho ~*~

hiei was laying in the middle of the grassy meadow gazing at the stars when aidan walked up beside him.
hiei didnt look over, he just closed his eyes.
'I know you were trying to take in everything about me you could physically see.' aidan stated plainly. 'you shouldnt try and hide your curiosity.'
hiei opened his eyes and looked over at her but she had already diverted her attention to the stars. he sat up to avoid any potential weakness in case she had planned a surprise attack.
aidan sat down beside him. 'you dont talk much do you?'
'why are you pestering me?' hiei asked aggravated.
aidan looked at him with a confused look on her face. 'do you want me to go?'
hiei just laid back down and closed his eyes.
she touched his arm gently to see if he was paying attention. her memories poured into his thoughts to fast for him to comprehend anything. he quickly shot up in alarm and roughly slapped her hand away.
'im sorry.' she said quietly as she jerked her hand to her chest. she gave him a brief look of sadness then turned around and walked away. he was surprised at the girls reactions but didnt bother to follow her.

she strayed deep into the dark woods until she didnt know where she was anymore.
The light sound of animals rustling through the bottom layer of bushes, grass, tree limbs and leaves made the forest seem almost alive itself. She could hear the distant sounds of animals howling, cooing, squawking and chirping. It was a pleasant sound to distract her while she was walking.
she peered through the trees at a dull neon green glowing wall that seemed to extend on forever. she walked over and touched it. to her surprise her hand drifted right through the energy wall without having to exert any of her strength. She puled her hand back out and looked at it then back at the wall again. She turned behind her and looked around, for a second she contemplated weather or not she should go through it. Eventually she walked through the wall and looked around. She turned around and to her surprise the wall had vanished. She reached out to where the wall was and her hand vanished behind some unseen force. She stepped back through where the wall would have been and again, the wall was visible. She stepped through the wall and this time started to walk, purely out of curiosity, into the seemingly darker place.

hieis eyes shot open. it felt like something had zapped through him like a bolt of lightning. he shot to his feet and looked around for a moment. 'aidan?' he whispered to himself.

aian wondered through her new discovery. everything seemed so different here though everything looked the same. she didnt really feel comfortable but she wanted to understand why she felt she didnt belong. The shades were different, the sounds were different and everything seemed to be a little more dsturbed, like there was something wrong, almost evil about this place.

'dammit aidan!' hiei yelled out loud as he ran towards the forbidden part forest.
-she going to blow our cover!- he thought to himself as he ran.
-kurama!- hiei thought to his companion. 'kurama!-

kurama sat quietly on the couch watching Yusuke and kuwabara fight in video game when suddenly she shot to his feet.
'what is it?' Yusuke asked alarmed. 'whats wrong?'
'aidan has gone to far into the forest.' kurama replied quietly, his eyes blank.

aidan stroked the leaves of the trees as she passed them. a rustling noise sounded from behind her. she quickly turned around but there was nothing there.
'get her!' a dark voice screamed from behind her. she felt a painful blow to her back then a cloth slip over her eyes.

~*~ Yu Yu Hakusho ~*~

aidan looked down at the marks on her arms as she hid in the closet. she carefully brushed them to avoid the searing pain that came along with them.
after she heard the ignition flair up and the cars drive away she quietly forced herself out of the closet. still clinging to her teddy bear she quietly crept through the empty house.
the force from a blow to the back of her head knocked her to her knees.
'i told you there was another one.' a man said to another.
quickly aidan scampered through her house to hide in the basement.
the men kept right behind her.
'come here you!' the other man shouted.
'leave me alone!' the small girl screamed without looking back.
she threw the basement door open and jumped down the stair. the men still followed close. she heard a sharp click from behind her and stopped in her tracks.
'now turn around slowly!' one of the men demanded loudly pointing a fully loaded gun at her head.
'fine.' she said in a low dark tone. 'you wanna play that way?' she yelled turning around quickly. 'go ahead and shoot me!' she screamed. 'do it!'
the man lowered his weapon, a fatal mistake.

~*~ Yu Yu Hakusho ~*~

'get off of me!' aidan screamed as she was drug through the forest by rope handcuffs. she couldnt see anything and fear was starting to take over. 'get off!!' she stomped her feet into the ground and tried to keep them from dragging her but it only made the beatings worse.

hiei stopped at the green wall of energy and debated on whether or not to enter. he let out a growl of frustration as he ran through the barrier. he stopped as soon as he ran through the wall, the immense pressure from pure raw energy caused him to think twice but he proceeded anyways.

aidan was out of energy and her body throbbed with pain. finally they stopped after about 10 minutes, the whole way aidan had been dragged along a rough, rocky path. she could feel rips in her clothes and skin. she sat up despite the searing pain and attempted to take of the blindfold with her shoulder.
'hey!' a man shouted in a strange accent spotting aidan. he ran beside her and kicked her in the leg.
'if you fucking kick me one more time!' she screamed as loud as she could.
something inside of her snapped and she could feel something rising to the surface of her body. energy started to pour off her and everything around her seemed to deify gravity. the bondage that bound her hands and feet denigrated and the blindfold burst into flames.
the man decided to test the girls power so he kicked her again.
'i swear!' she screamed as the energy from her body turned to a blue swirling flame.

~*~ Yu Yu Hakusho ~*~

'why are you doing this? why are you hurting me? why?' aidan asked crying her father as he pulled the needle from her wrist.
'you will understand one day.' he said calmly.
'but why not talia? why only me?'
'because aidan, your special.' he explained. 'you have something talia doesnt dear.'
'whats that?' she asked wiping away her tears.
'youll understand one day.' the man said standing up and patting the girl on the head. 'youll understand one day.'

~*~ Yu Yu Hakusho ~*~

hiei stopped feeling as a huge wave of energy passed through him. he watched as a huge blue flame engulfed a entire lower class demon tribe. he couldnt make out the center of attention but whoever it was it wasnt weak. he tried to process the energy to identify the source but he couldnt make out what it was. its want demon and it certainly wasnt a human.
hiei stood there for a few moments and watched as the fire died down. in the middle of the tornado of flames a familiar person levitated about three feet off the ground. hieis eyes widened as aidan turned her attention towards him. she gently glided back to the ground and started to walk towards hiei. the flames started to die down and she started staggering. just before she hit the ground hiei caught her with a terrified expression.
