Chapter 5:
Another Hiei...Oh My!

"That many steps is just overkill!" The two teenage girl complained. "Heh,yea.Well you're gonna get real use to those steps going through grandmas training." Yusuke informed, while grinning brodley.The two gils looked fairly disturbed at this bit of information. "You mean we're gonna have to run up and down these steps?" Rebecca asked,while indicating the steps they had just climed. "Part of the training." Yusuke replyed,while Botan smiled and entered the temple.
Rebecca laughed then hit Lina on the back. "Hope you have fun.I'll be rooting for ya." Hiei raised a eyebrow. "I thought you were going to train also?" Rebecca looked at the small koorime as if he were crazy. "You kidding?No way.The only way you'd get me to run up and down those steps everyday is if I had to!"
At that moment teen Koenma made an apearance. "Yo!" Most of the group jumped at the suprise greeting. "Gah!Do you have to do that?!" Lina asked as her right eye started twitching.The now teen Koenma looked at her and sweat dropped before turning his attention back to Rebecca. "Yes well.I did some looking into your files Rebecca,and found that you are a koorime the same as Hiei." The spirit world ruler informed.The brown-headed girl pointed to herself with wide eyes. "Me?" Koenma nodded. "Hold it!Just hold it!" Rebecca said as she put her hads out infront of her in a stop position.
As her palms faced out flat out a ball of fire shot out of the right and a ball of ice from the left.The group dunked as the fire ball went flying by.The small group was entirely focused on the fire ball that they didn't notice the ball of ice flying tward the red-headed kitsune.
Lina looked up just in time to see the glowing blue mass headed tward the other kitsune.The brunnett jumped tward Kurama and pushed him out of the way.Just as soon as the male kitsune was clear the swirling blue mass slamed into the female kitsunes chest.
Kurama scrambled to his knees and started to crawl to the brunnetts side.The red-head stoped not an inch away from her side,staring wide eyed at the girl before him.He reached out a hand and tentatively touched her face.
Lina felt somthing warm and soft touch her cheek pulling her back from the darkness.Her senses reaserted themself shortly after.Her stomach hurt and her head was pounding.The brunnett reached her hands up to cover her ears were all the noise was entering,only to find they weren't where they should be.
The female kitsunes eyes snapped open to find everyone looking at her.Kurama was looking at her with his mouth slightly open.Koenma and Hiei seemed a bit suprised.Kuwabara and Yusuke were...hold on were they?Yes they were!They were DROOLING!
Lina didn't have long to think about the workings of Kuwabara and Yusukes minds,as Rebecca proptley thew herself onto the female kitsune and began muttering somthing.All Lina could make out were the words 'thought,kill,and you.'The teen blinked and patted her friend on the back.She shot the others a confused look then returned to conforting her friend.
When Rebecca finaly pulled away,Lina went to rub the back of her neck in confusion.In doing so her prevous line of thought returned. "Where are my ears?!" The freeked out girl screeched.Kurama gently took her hand and placed it ontop of her head.
Lina felt aroun ontop of her head untill her hand came in contact with somthing soft and fuzzy.Swallowing hard she traced the object with her fingers and felt them twitch. "What do they look like?" The wide eyed girl asked.'Hot' were the two shouted replys.
Kurama helped Lina to her feet,before brushiing the bangs from her eyes. "We'll get you a mirror.Kay?" He quietly replyed.The changed girl smiled,before nodding.The red-head then put his arm around the now smiling girl and started tward the temple.
Kurama stopped just befor entering,a thoughtfull expreason on his face.He then pulled Lina around to face him.The emerald eyed kitsune then smiled at her. "Kurama?" The confused girl questioned. "Youko did not bother to ask you,so I will.Would you allow me the pleasure of being your boyfriend." Lina looked at him in shock before a bright smile lit her face. "Yes,yes,yes,yes,yes!" She exclamed throwing herself into his arms.
Youko smirked inside Kuramas head. * Told ya so. *

* Hey with as enthusiastic as she is about being our girlfriend,we should have asked her to be our mate. *

* Suit yourself,but I still say we should ask her now.Oh and while we're at it,can I take over? *

Lina had been waving her hand infront of Kuramas face for a while now,and was starting to worry. "Kurama?" At the sound of his name the male kitsunes glazed eyes cleared. "Sorry.Youko wanted to have a chat." The red-head apologized. "It's okay." The now smiling girl said as she hooked their arms,and pulled him into the temple.
The two of you entered just in time to hear a shout of "That onna can NOT be like me!" from me,and a answering shout of "Why can't I!" come from Rebecca.Hiei growled only to be answered by a growl from Rebecca.He then glared and crossed his arms.Rebecca did the same.Both the male and female koorime then Hn'ed and turned away from the other.
"My god it's a female Hiei!" Yusuke called out. "Not another one!" Kuwabara groned.The others just looked on in amusment as the two continued to copy each others actions.
"Dose she act like this often?" Botan asked,not taking her eyes of the pair. "Somtimes,but it usually dosn't last long." Was Linas answer.As if on que the two faced each other.Hiei glared,as did Rebecca.Then at the hight of the glaring match Rebecca promptly stuck out her toungh.
So intent was the other koorime on geting the best of the young girl that he had his toungh half way out of his mouth before relizeing what he was doing.Hiei quickley retracted it and left the room.While Rebecca smirked and the others looked on in wide eyed wonder.
Lina smiled shook her head,then turned to Kurama. "How about that mirror?"
