Chapter 6:
New Look New Life

Hearing Lina speak Botan turned,and her mouth promptly fell open. "What happened to you?!"
Rebecca sweat dropped hearing the conversation. "Eh.." Lina smiled at the grimreaper. "It was a accident Botan.Now shall we go find that mirror?" The other kitsune nodded befor leading her down the hall.
The red head stopped at a rosewood door.He then opened the door and the young girl entered. "Here's your room koi,I hope you like it." Kurama said as he closed the door behind him. "I do ,very much." Lina answered,while looking around at the red walls and gold border.The bed was a dark green with a gold dragon.She noticed the curtains were the same dark green as the bed with gold accents at the top and bottom.The dresser and headbord was made of red stained oak with roses carved into them.
"It's very pretty." The female kitsune said as she leaned back against Kuramas chest.Lina blinked,then looked back at Kurama. "I'm taller.?" Was the puzzled observation. "It would seem so." Was the calm reply.
"Lets find a mirror,then get some Advil,(I don't own Advil)I'm realy gonna need that Advil." The long girl sighed,while rubbing her temples.With that the emerald eyed kitsune lead his newly aquired girlfriend into the adjoining bathroom,and to the full lenth mirror.
The wide eyed girl took in her apearence.Her hair was a longer and now a brownish yellow,with the exception of her bangs that had changed to an icey blue.Her skin was a bit lighter as well.And her eyes had converter to a golden yellow.The ears that now adorned her head were a rich black with snow white tips,matching her tail.You could also tell she had grown.She now looked to be about 5'10.
Lina sighed. "Now about that Advil?" Kurama smiled,then chuckled. "Very well,we can get you some Advil.After that we need to see Genkai about your training schedule."
The two left only to enter the one next to it. "Uh?Where are we?" The female of the pair inquired. "My room."Was the simple answer she receved. "Now please sit down on the bed." Linas eyes grew wide at that.Kurama seeing her expresion laughed. "A hentai are we?" He asked,as his eyes flashed gold.Lina blushed before doing as told,and taking a seat on the bed.
The male kitsune walked over to a cabnet and pullrd out a metal box. "Now if you would remove your shirt." Lina raised a eyebrow. "And you call me hentai?" A blush stained Kuramas cheeks. "It's not..I didn't mean..I just...I just wanted to check on your chest wound."The blushing kitsune rammbled.
The female kitsune blinked. "Chest wound?What chest wound?" kurama looked hard at the gold eyed girl. "you don't rember the glowing blue ball that hit you in the stomach?" Lina smiled. "Oh that!" The red-head did an anime fall. "Yes that!" And here he was starting to worry that more damage had been don than he thought.
"Well of corse I rember.It hit me,then there was a cold feeling and it felt like it merged with me.After that I woke-up with you kneeling over me." Kurama looked at the female with a confused expresion. 'Merged?' "Perhaps after we finish we should tell the others about this."Lina moved her shirt so the red-head could see. "Kay."
Kurama touched the unblimished skin. "It did merge." He murmmered. "I already told you that." The now brown-headed girl sighed.Kurama smiled at her before putting the bandages away. "No need for those." He the retreaved a small bottle,and handed it to Lina. "Your Advil."He said with a smile."Thank you." The female kitsune said as the emerald eyed kitsune returned from the bathroom with a glass of water in hand.
Lina swollowed the capsuls then held out the bottle. "Keep it,I beleave you may need it." Kurama informed pushing the bottle back in her direction.The female looked at him suspiciously. "Why?" Kurama looked slightly apologetic. "You will be starting your new school tomorrow." Lina sighed befor pocketing the bottle. "Thanks.I think you're right,I am gonna need it."
When the two kitsunes returned to the main room Genkai was sitting at the small table drinking tea. "You finally returned." The old woman stated not even looking up.Yusuke grinned. "Kinda makes you wonder exactly what they were doing.Rebecca bit her lip to keep from laughing at the dark blushes staining the two kitsunes faces.
Hiei smirked. "Indeed it dose.Especaly when you see them entering the foxes room together." Rebecca grinned at that. "Well this was unexpected...I thought he would at least have waited a few more days." She stated in an all to inocent tone of voice. "BECCA!" the mortified Lina yelled. "What?I can't help what it looks like."
Genkai cleared her thoat. "The girls will start their training tomorrow after returning fron school.I will teach them how to access their energy.After that Lina will train with Kurama,while Rebecca trains with Hiei.And seeing as how we haven't prepaired a room for you yet,you will stay in Linas room for the night." The pink haired woman stated. "Huh?Why am I training?" Rebecca questioned.
The group turned to her in shock. "You're telling us you don't know why we want you to train?!" Yusuke exclamed. "Not really." The green-blue eyed girl replyed.Everyone did an anime fall at her casual answer. "You looking to kill somone?" Yusuke deadpaned.Rebecca winced. "Oh that.Guess I gotta train too." Hiei rolled his eyes. "Yes onna you have to train."
As the girls walked down the hall,Lina was thankfull for the Advill.She was REALY gonna need it. "Welcome to our new life." Lina muttered.She then thought about everything that happened so far. "It might not be so bad." Becca turned. "what might not be so bad?" The older girl smiled. "Staying here." Rebecca grinned back at her. "Yea."
