~~~~The Fire Youkai Heir To Mukuro's Land ~ And A Little Frisky-ness In The Rekai~~~~
Yuusuke left the house early that morning, not wanting to wake any of the demons that sleep within it. He walked out into the cold morning breeze. For the middle of November, this was ok. The roads were dark and looked like they were going no where fast. Yuusuke walked the foggy road until he reached the street his house resided on. He knew he wasn't going to get much of a shock when he walked into the house. The stench of alcohol would fill the house and Atsuko would be passed out on the couch for the next few hours.
When he walked into his house, the warm air of the house hit him...but in a bad way. Sure, it warmed him up compared to outside, but the alcoholic smell was unbearable. He raced up to his room, possibly the only place in the house that wasn't covered with the stench as badly. He walked into his room, and it was a cold room. The window had been left open, but at least it didn't smell like down stairs. Yuusuke shut his window, and the room began to warm up.
"I was waiting for you to get home. I thought you would already be here when I got here." said a voice from the corner of the room.
"B-Botan? What are you doing in my room?" Yuusuke was a bit surprised to see the shinigami in his room, but none the less pleased to see her.
"I was looking for you! Silly...Koenma sent me to get you. He says he needs to talk to you about something....I don't know what really. He said something about a mission just for you only." Botan's voice sounded distant, but none the less serious.
"Oh really? What's the prick got for me this time?" Yuusuke took pride in his snide remark of the demigod.
"Oh Yuusuke...stop. He really wants you to go to the Rekai now. It's already been 6 hours since he sent me here!" Botan did sound quite serious. And since it was his job...he had to go.
~~~~The Rekai ~ Koenma's Office~~~~

"It took you long enough Botan. Yuusuke, front and center."

"Yes sir" Yuusuke was surprised at how abusive the godling was acting. He almost sounded sarcastic.

"I want you to go to the Makai and keep watch over a village that's been getting attacked for the past few hours. I would have had you there sooner, but you took too long getting here. You must go there NOW, and find out what's going on, and if you have to, kill a couple of bandit's while you're at it."

~~~About A Month LaterI'd say around December 16th-ish~~~~
"GUYS!!! I'm worried about Yuusuke! He's been in the Makai for almost a month!" Keiko was worried out of her wits...and no one could say anything to comfort her.
"Keiko, we're as worried about him as you are...but we haven't heard hide or hair about him from Botan or Koenma. I can't help but worry you more by thinking something is wrong." Kurama tried to hug her but she started crying like her life was going to end if she didn't see the boy again.
"Hey guys...what's cookin?" A very torn up and bloody Yuusuke who was missing a shirt, and pants were torn in every which way possible. Blood was coming out of places on his body that weren't traceable by the naked eye.
"YUUSUKE!!!MY GOD WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!" Keiko ran over to him...she looked him over, but she didn't dare touch him for fear of hurting him even more than was intended here!
"They're just scratches guys...a lot of them. Don't worry about it...I just need a shower and you'll see how much you're all over reacting." Yuusuke limpped up the stairs of Kurama's and Hiei's house up to the bathroom to take a shower.
"He'll be fine guys." Another voice came from the open doorway.
"KOENMA!!!"Keiko ran over to the demigod and started throwing small and feeble punches at the teenaged demigod."How could you do this to him! WHERE did you send him!!!!!!!" Keiko was esstatic and crying. Koenma held her up by her arms and carried her over to the red couch in the den.
"Keiko listen to me. I sent JUST Yuusuke on this on, cause it was a minor case...no more than one person was needed. He was just ridding a town in the Makai of bandits. He may have twisted his foot, and a few sctraches here and there. When he gets out of the shower he'll be fine." Koenma made her look into his eyes and she began to calm down.
"Well that explains why he was gone for so long then. He would have had to stay there a while to rid the place EVERY LAST bandit in the area." Kurama spoke up finally after everyone had calmed down.
Koenma looked at the fox, "Yes, which is why I sent him as early as I did hoping he would be back before Christmas, which it turns out, he is." Koenma smiled at Keiko who was still a little teary eyed. "We ok now?"
Keiko smiled at him and nodded her head, "You know how much I worry about him Koenma...."
"I worry about him sometimes myself," Koenma realizes what he had just let slip and blushed a light pink color.
Hiei sees this and smiles, "Something you're not telling us kid?"
"No, not really Hiei, and if I am keeping something from you, you know it's for a good reason."Koenma was tensing cause he knew the fire demon saw him make his slip.
"Hn...when you're ready to admit anything to us....feel free." The fire youkai smiled at everyone and bade them goodnight. He made his way up the stairs and a door was heard closing with a soft clicking sound.
"I'd better follow him up soon. He'll get lonely." They all laughed at this, and Kurama made his way out of the room and followed Hiei's tracks upstairs to the bedroom he shared with his lover.
Not so long after Kurama had left the room, Yuusuke came down the stairs, wearing the pants he had on when he went up there. But he looked much better; all the blood that stained him when he came in, was gone. A few minor sctraches were here and there, but they looked like nothing more than a few paper cuts.
"See? Told you, you were making a big deal out of something so silly. Most of that blood wasn't even mine." Yuusuke laughed and Keiko ran and hugged him. "Hey hey hey....I'm ok." Yuusuke smiled at her, and hugged her back.
"Well, I'm going to take my leave also, I believe I'm done here." Koenma was on his way out the door when he was stopped by Yuusuke grabbing his wrist.
"And just where do you think you're going?"
"Home?"Koenma looked puzzled at his friends actions, but held back for a moment.
"Nope, we need to talk."
"Umm....I think I'll just go home now!" Keiko ran passed the two taller boys, out the door, and down the street towards her house.
"Now what do you want to talk about?" Koenma sounded like he was really tired and wanted to go home, but Yuusuke dragged him inside for one last time. They went into the den and sat down on the couch. Yuusuke turned the TV on so their voices wouldn't be overheard as easily.
~~~~Upstairs~~~~

"Hn. Smart boy. He turned the TV on. I can only hear that now." Hiei had his ear pressed against the floor trying to listen to the two men talking downstairs.

"Don't worry about it, dear Let's just go to bed. I'm sure if they want to tell us, they will." Kurama was sitting in bed almost falling asleep sitting up. He gave a long yawn and Hiei gave up, picked himself up off the floor, and joined his fox in bed.

~~~~Downstairs~~~~
"Okay?" Yuusuke wanted to make sure that the demigod understood everything perfectly.
Koenma tried to hold back a slight blush, but couldn't and his face turned as red as the robes he was wearing, "Yes I understand. You don't have to repeat yourself." Koenma went to get up to walk to the door as he was haulted yet again by Yuusuke's voice.
"And not a word of this to ANYONE! Not Botan, Enma, NO ONE!"
"I GET IT DAMNIT!" Koenma bushed at his outburst and vanished from sight, most likely returning to the Rekai.
Yuusuke sighed and turned to TV off; he got up from the couch and locked the front door behind him as he walked out of his friend's house.
~~~~With Hiei In His Room~~~~

There was a slight knock on the glass to the room Hiei and Kurama were in. Hiei stirred and woke at this sudden noise. He walked over to the window. He opened it up to be greeted with Leena's half worried half smiling face.

"Leena?" Hiei rubbed his eyes sleepily and looked out at the girl waiting for a reply.

"Ready?"

"What? Now?" Hiei was a little stupified at the sudden request but quickly regained his composure. He walked over to Kurama's side. He shook the fox's shoulder for a moment to get him to wake up. "Kurama...I'm going with Leena."

"Oh....now?" Kurama rubbed his eyes to wake himself up a little more, but in vein, "Ok....thank you for telling me, love. I'll have breakfast ready by the time you get back, I suppose." Kurama smiled at Hiei.

Hiei bent down and gave Kurama a quick kiss on the lips, and went to get his pants. Leena was watching Hiei walk around the room in his boxers...and it made her blush.

"Sister? I can smell that from all the way over here? You really are ready aren't you?" Hiei put a half hearted laugh into it, and it made Leena blush again. "Alright...where are you staying?"

"In the Rekai. But I have my own room. We should be safe and sound over there." She assured him nothing would go wrong, she had prepared herself well enough. Hiei followed her all the way to the Rekai and wasted no time in getting this hell underway. He wasn't even sure if she could arrouse him or not. But she gave him an idea that might work, "Hey just pretend I'm Kurama!" She smiled happily at him.

~~~~In Leena's Room~~~~
Hiei shook his head in embarrassment, "I'll try...not sure how well it'll work though."
Leena nodded her head in understanding.
Hiei felt horribly uncomfortable in a room with a half naked woman, his own sister at that. She had a sports bra on and was in the process of removing her pants.
Hiei just stood there watching her undress infront of him. Arms crossed over his chest waiting for her to be completely naked. 'Welp...here goes nothing...' Hiei thought to himself as he walked up to the girl and madly made out with her, trying to get himself into the feeling.
Hiei broke the kiss for a second, keeping his eyes closed trying his hardest to pretend it was Kurama he was doing this with, he took his pants and undergarments off and stood naked in front of Leena. Hiei ressumed kissing her, and they both fell backwards onto the bed.
When Hiei thought he was hard enough, he looked down at Leena to make sure she knew what was coming. Leena stared up at her brother...a tear about to slide down her face.
"Leena, you know I want nothing more than to get this over with so I can go back home to Kurama." She nodded her head.
"It's not that...I'm just getting myself ready for what you're about to do."
"Oh...well are you ready? Cause this is going to hurt you a lot more than it's going to hurt me."
Leena gave a swift nod of her head, and Hiei quickly thrust inside of her. A silent scream overcame her and Hiei paused for a moment.Her face was almost frozen into a screaming expression. Hiei felt sorry for doing this to her, but it had to be done. Her expression clamed down into a twitching eye and Hiei thought it safe to continue. He moved around a little bit and he heard her moan in pleassure. This didn't help the fact that he was still trying to convince himself that this was Kurama. He tried to force himself to come fast so he wouldn't have to stay here more than neccessary. Thankfully, to Hiei's great delight, he came fast, Leena collapsed onto the bed. Hiei pulled out of her, and stood beside her.
He felt like he was about to fall over himself. He watched as his tired sister lay on the bed, breathing heavily. He needed to get out of here before he fell asleep here. He went and found his pants...and put them on. He quickly and quietly exited the room.
~~~~In A random Hallway In The Rekai~~~~~

"Hiei." A voice came from around the corner of the hall.

Hiei peeked around the corner to see none other than Koenma.

"Since you're here and you looked like you just got off of a very sickening ride...I would assume that you've done your part of the bargain that Mukuro set you up for?"

Hiei snickered, "Yes....I didn't like it...and niether did she. We both hated it." He had a feeling of nausea all of a sudden come about him.

Koenma noticed this, as Hiei was becoming very very pale, and quickly opened a portal to the Ningenkai. Hiei quickly ran through it, he wound up in the street on the corner of his house. He vomited right in the steet, and tried to stand up afterwards. Kurama was in the kitchen staring out the window; he quickly rushed to the fire demons side.

"Hiei! Are you alright?!" Kurama was worried.

"That..." Hiei had to get his breath back before he said anything more, "Was the most horrid thing I've ever had to do in my life." Hiei collapsed in the youko's arms in the middle of the street.

~~~~In The Rekai ~ Koenma’s Office~~~~
“Sir, don’t you think Mukuro is being a bit hard on Hiei?” Said a random demon that just so happened to be in the office at the time.
“Yes, I do think it’s a bit harsh…but I have no place to argue with what she wants.” Koenma was sifting through the mound of paperwork on his desk and was trying to get it done before sunrise. “Go check on Leena, I’m sure after that she’s going to need someone to talk to.
“Yes sir.” The demon made his exit and Koenma was left in his office to think.
~~~~With Yuusuke~~~

Yuusuke walked into his house with a sudden surprise to his face. Atsuko wasn’t home, and the smell of alcohol had diminished throughout the entire house. This made him wonder...was she still out? Or was she asleep in her room for once? Whatever the case, it made no difference to the Rekai Tantei leader. He was just glad to get some sleep.

He didn't remember much that happened that day...he was in the Makai...demons were coming out at him left and right...then he was at Hiei and Kurama's house...but it all came to him in a blurr in the end anyway. He needed rest badly. He collapsed onto his bed...and was asleep immediately.

~~~~With Hiei And Kurama In Their Kitchen~~~~
Hiei was sitting at the kitchen table as Kurama made tea for himself and coffee for Hiei...he looked like he needed it...black coffee at that. He had his arms folded in front of him, and his head was lying on top of his crossed arms. He watched Kurama walk about the kitchen. They were finally able to sit and talk together about it for the first time that morning.
Kurama checked the clock he had in the kitchen above the stove, it was four am. He looked at Hiei as if waiting for his lover to say something.
"You know...I'm glad I'm here with you...I've never benn more grateful for anything else in my life." Hiei was staring down at his coffee cup as he spoke, "What happened tonight....it was just aweful....beyond words even. It was just horrible. While I was with her...to know she's my sister...I felt sick even then..."
Hiei began talking in circles. Kurama understood his frustration, and place his index finger over Hiei's mouth to silence him. "Hush, Hiei." Kurama smiled at him as he continued to try and calm the fire youkai down,"I know it was rough for you....but it's over now." the ofx got up from his seat and kneeled next to Hiei taking him into his tight embrace. Kurama held Hiei close to him as his body loosened up and nerves became still.
Hiei pulled away from Kurama's hold, and looked at his lover, and smiled. "Thank you, fox." His eyes dried out, and his voice lost it's shakiness. His right eye stopped twiching, and he continued to drink his coffee...which he now thought needed half and half...and of course sugar.
"You're an adict Hiei." Kurama laughed at his boyfriend's silly addiction to sugar.
"You love me for it though." Hiei joked back.
"Oh you know I do, Love." Kurama smiled at him as they sat like that for at least another hour before they both realized they hadn't gotten any sleep, and they went back upstairs about six am.
