Two hours pass by and they still walk together, but he no longer grips her arm and she is at a steady pace behind him. It is silent; neither has said a single word, but he steals glances at her as she keeps her stare downward. He stops and she nearly runs into him. Once again he grabs arm. He drags her to a large rock and sits her on top of it.
He goes toward the water as she takes in her surroundings. It is a beautiful clearing with a waterfall.
He walks next to her and says something but she does not here him.
“ONNA!” he yells. “ Uh yes sir I am sorry” He sighs and says “ I'm going to go get fire wood, I want you to stay right here, got it.” She lowers her head and replies with a “yes sir”. He comes back only minutes later surprised to see she was still sitting there. ` She is strange most would have run' he thought.
He went over to the stream and wet a cloth he'd had in his pocket. He then walked over to her and lifted her face to clean it.
“Onna, What is your name?” he asked as he continued to clean her face. “ It is Akia, my lord.” “Lord? My name is Hiei, onna, I don't really care if you put lord in front of it.” “Yes sir, Lord Hiei.”
He stopped cleaning her face and just stared at her. Once he snapped himself out of it, he lead her over to the fire. “ Eat onna we have a long journey to get home tomorrow.” “Yes sir” she replies in a whisper like tone.
When they finished Hiei put the fire out. Akia went by a tree and curled up, Hiei jumped up into the tree. After about three hours he still hadn't gotten any sleep. He looks down at her and she wasn't sleeping peacefully. He crawls down beside her. She is shivering so he picks her up and carefully takes her back up to his limb and pulls her into his lap. She flinches several times but doesn't move. He took off his cloak and pulled it over both of them. After this they both sleep peacefully through the rest of the night.
The next morning her woke up to his arms empty. He panicked until he heard someone singing in the most heavenly voice. He looks down and she's already made breakfast for him. He decides not to yell at her. “Onna” he says from behind her, “ Don't ever move without telling me again, you're Makai, onna, not ningenkai a demon could attack you at any moment and you would just be taken because of your disobedience.” She looked down solemly. She hadn't meant to anger him, she was trying to fix his breakfast.
Hiei looked to the side of him and notice fresh fish on a large leaf. “ I'm sorry Lord Hiei” she began but he hushed her and passed her one of the fish. They ate quickly and quietly then left soon after.

They walked for another five hours and then stopped for a break you both talked a little more about his friends, what she was expected to do, and other random things, but neither of them asked about each other's past. After another 3 hours they came upon a large hole in a tree. Hiei grabs her arm and pulls her in through it.
