(A/N) Okay, you all know about Hiei’s tear gem, right? Well anyway. It will play quite a big part in this chapter and in future chapters as well.
Hiei: Why are you picking on me?
Eirka: I’m not.
Hiei: You are.
Eirka: How?
Hiei: By using the tear gem my mother gave me in this story.
Eirka: Hiei, Please let me use it. I promise I will do anything for you.
Hiei: Alright. But I think the reviewers should decided what you will have to do for me.
Eirka: Okay. Anyway, I don’t own YuYu Hakusho.

CHAPTER 3: THE TRAINING BEGINS
Hiei took Erika to a nearby field.
“Okay so today, I’m going to teach you how to use a kanata,” he explained.
Erika looked at him confused.
“A sword. Look,” he pulled out his sword.
“Where’s mine?” she asked.
“I’m not teaching you how to fight, yet. I’m teaching you the basics,” said Hiei. “Mainly, how to hold the sword and how to control it.”
“Oh fun,” muttered Erika.
“Now take the sword,” Hiei ordered.
Erika did as told and held it in an unusual way.
“NO! That its not how you old it,” yelled Hiei. He walked behind Erika and put his hands on hers.
Erika turned a slight shade of pink, but then shook it of so Hiei wouldn’t see her.
“No this is how you hold it,” said Hiei positioning her hands. He then stepped away from her. “Now swing it and then I’ll tell you what you’re doing wrong.”
Erika did as told. Her swing was all wrong.
“You see this is why you have to start off with the basics,” said Hiei walking behind Erika again. Once again, she turned pink, but couldn’t shake it off. Hiei slowly moved his hands onto Erika’s shoulders and down to her hands. He had her soft touch memorized in his mind and turned a VERY light shade of pink. However, Erika didn’t notice. Anyway, Hiei showed Erika how to use the sword, how to hold and how to use it for protection.
“I get it now,” smiled Erika after about an hour.
“Good. Now we will be working on your speed. Do you have any ideas?” asked Hiei.
“Yes. Tag your it,” yelled Erika as she ran away.
Hiei smiled and chased after her. He was running in the trees. And searching very quickly. Soon he found her.
“Uh oh,” said Erika when she saw him. She tried to run faster, but Hiei jumped down from the trees and caught Erika. He then pulled her down and started to tickle her. For once, Hiei had a true smile on.
“No! Please! Stop! I’m ticklish there,” laughed Erika.
“You mean here?” Hiei asked tickling another spot.
“Yes,” she cried.
Soon Hiei grew weary of tickling her, which gave Erika her chance for revenge.
“You never should have stopped tickling me,” said Erika.
“Why?” asked Hiei.
“This is why,” yelled Erika.
She jumped on Hiei and the two of them rolled down a hill, very quickly. They were still laughing. They were having a great time. Little did they know, but Kurama, Cat, Yuseke, Genkai, Keiko, Kuwabara, and Boton were watching them.
“Awww, isn’t that cute,” teased Boton.
“You know, I have never seen a real smile like that on Hiei’s face,” said Cat.
“Me neither, and I have known him for many, many years,” said Kurama.
“If only there was a way to get Hiei to tell his true feeling to Erika,” said Genkai thoughtfully.
“And vise versa. Erika has to tell Hiei her feelings,” replied Yuseke.
“Hiei will never admit his feelings,” said Cat.
“And neither will Erika,” replied Kurama.
“Why?” asked Kuwabara.
“The two of them are afraid of getting hurt,” said Cat.
“If they get over their fear, then they wouldn’t be in such a slump. They would be able to tell each other how they feel without fear,” said Kurama.
“But the question is how?” asked Cat.
Nobody had an answer to that.

Finally the two of them stopped rolling. Erika ended up on top of Hiei. She was laying on his bare chest and it allowed Erika a good look at his tear gem. Hiei saw this, he pushed Erika off and turned his back to her.
“Hiei what’s wrong?” Erika asked.
“Nothing,” he said.
“Pointy Butt, something is wrong. Please tell me. I want to help you,” pleaded Erika.
Hiei clutched his tear gem and sighed. “Alright, I’ll tell you. You see a little after my sister and I were born my mother was able to create tear gems. They things that are really hard to create (just pretend. I’m not to sure on the details of the tear gems). Anyway, when my sister and I were about 16 or 17 in your world, our father disappeared. My mother cried to last tear gems, one for me and one for my sister. About a week later she died. My sister and I then went our separate ways but we agreed that our tear gems would always connect us,” explained Hiei. A single tear appeared in his eyes. But he brushed it away before Erika could see.
“Oh Hiei, I had no idea. I’m sorry,” replied Erika.
Hiei didn’t no what to say. He just sat on the grass, not looking at Erika. However, Erika didn’t care.
She walked over and began to massage Hiei’s back.
“What are you doing Big Mouth?” asked Hiei.
“Your very tensed up right now, so I’m trying to relax you,” said Erika as she continued to massage his bare back.
Hiei couldn’t help it. He felt so relaxed. He couldn’t help it, Erika’s hands were so smooth and soft.
