Yukina woke up late that morning. She looked at her clock and realized she was going to be late for school, so she decided to go back to sleep and not go at all. She didn't really think about anyone else at the moment. She was so tired and happy at the same time. She was tired because of last night and happy because she was happy because she got to see her old friends. Yukina went to sleep. She was having a dream, which looked all too familiar. . .

Dream:

“Promise me that you will forget me!” A girl screamed at another girl, all while shaking her by her shoulders. These girls looked only to be around 13 or 14. The girl that was being shaken was crying. As her tears fell, they made a `clunk' noise, signifying that they turned into these tiny white gem stones. The girl that was doing the shaking had gem stones coming out too, but hers were a blue topaz color.

“N-no! I don't want to! You are all that I have besides (----) and (----)!” Cried the girl with the white gem stones. “Please, they sold you to him, and you have to go. Please forget about me! (----), I don't want you thinking about me and my welfare at this wretched house. (----), I want you to be happy, I want you to smile me one last smile! Yes, please, and then when you go, I have a good memory. I PROMISE, that we WILL see each other again! All I ask is that you forget about me so if I do end up getting beaten to my death, it won't hurt so much!” Pleaded the girl with the blue topaz gem stones.

End of Dream (Ok, I have the (----) up because I don't want too much information to be revealed!)

Yukina woke up to a cold sweat. She hated having those dreams. They always made her sad. She needed comfort, a friend's comfort, her best friend's comfort, sapphire's comfort. She prayed to all Kami's that Sapphire was here.

If Sapphire wasn't here, Yukina thought she might just break down crying. That dream, those painful memories, that last smile …She stopped thinking of those thoughts.

If she continues with those thoughts, she NO DOUBTEDLY would start crying.

Yukina got up and out of bed. She walked around the room pacing. She first needed sometime to … walk off the stress build-up. When she was finally done, she walked to her door, opened and closed it, walking softly towards Sapphire's room.

When Yukina reached her destination, she was relived to hear Sapphire inside. She hesitantly opened Sapphire's door and walked inside, shutting the door softly. Yukina slightly smiled as she saw Sapphire was still sleeping. Yukina's bottom lip trembled a bit. `M-my dream. I hate it.' Yukina thought as she walked towards Sapphire and her bed.

Once she was at Sapphire's bed, she slightly shook Sapphire's one shoulder to get her to wake up. Yukina was almost about to cry. Sapphire didn't wake up by the nudge.

Yukina's lip trembled as one tear was let out. A white gem stone landed on Sapphire's head and rolled off. That woke Sapphire up. “Hey, Webster. What's wrong? Are you crying?” Sapphire asked while sitting up and pushing back her covers to allow Yukina to get in. “B-bad dream,” Yukina whimpered into Sapphire's chest. Sapphire was sitting on her bed with her arms around Yukina's shaken, crying form.

Sapphire knew what she was talking about. Yukina didn't have to say it. Sapphire didn't know why, but she just knew. Sapphire hugged Yukina tighter, tears threatening to spill from her blue-purple orbs. Yukina was crying, as Sapphire rested her chin atop Yukina's head.

“'Kina, don't worry. It was a dream. Don't worry. We will meet again, no, we did meet again,” Sapphire whispered into Yukina's hair. That was what it took for Sapphire, tears of blue topaz hit the bed …

 

Ok, I know this was WAY SHORT! But, I am sorry, I had to. Not to be mean, but it actually puts part of the story together.

 

Please, understand, that when I did (----), I was trying to block out 3 names. The last two times, were 1 name, just repeated. Don't worry, that dream will make sense in later chapters. . . Oops, I gave you a hint . . . Read and Review thanks!
