Previously: Hiei's eyes grew wide, she had remembered. She really had given in and decided to accept what he had planned for her. He licked his lips temporally rethinking. Would he take her or punish her instead. He could take her roughly and satisfy his hunger.
“I am sorry Hiei”
“Don't worry you will be”
He took a few steps toward her, lifting his hand.
She went to scream and.................

THE START
She went to scream and nothing came out her voice had vanished. The pain she felt was indescribable. She sobbed out the number one. As she tried to endure what was happening she knew she was at his whim. She had reached the number ten. Her hands had begun to shake. Satron was not sure how long her legs could hold her. She wanted to drop to her hands and knees and start to kiss at his feet, begging for forgiveness.
Satron bunched the sheets in her hands. She had reached the number twenty crying uncontrollably. She slid down to the floor. He had not told her that he was done. She heard his footsteps get closer. Hiei picked her body up and placed her on the bed facing him. Satron kept her head down. She knew what he wanted to hear next.
She chocked back a few tears, lifting her head. She did not want to make a mistake at this point. Satron stared into his eyes, trying to catch her breath.
“Thank you for correcting my behavior… I am sorry I made you do that”
He nodded his head “You do understand I did not have to stop”
Satron bit down on her lip, hoping there was not more to come. He motioned over to the door. Kurama was leaning in the doorway. The look of pure fear came over her. You could smell it in the air. She knew she had crossed a line. As she stared into the eyes of her lover, she remembered a time when she looked forward to seeing those ruby eyes. A time when she craved his touch, and enjoyed a little pain from his hand. Satron began to think. How could I let this happen once more? She found herself reminiscing about the past. About how they crossed paths those ten years ago…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~FLASH BACK TEN YEARS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a warm spring day. Satron looked lovely in her red tank top and black capri. Her mocha colored skin complemented the shirt. She opened the door to her blue SUV. Her hair dark brown hair pulled back into a ponytail. She squinted her eyes; Satron could not remember the last time it had been so nice out. She leaned back in the car grabbing her sun glasses.
As she got back out of her car she looked up at the beautiful landscape. There was green forest covering as far as the eye could see with wild flowers adding color and diversity to the land. In the distance she could hear the river hitting the rocks on the other side of land. It was Genkais' temple. It never changed.
“I don't think I have been here in about three years. Yeah that's right not since the accident. I wonder does she even remember me.”
Satron took in a deep breath. The scent of nature flooding into her nose while the visions of good and bad memories over took her mind.
“Well I can't let the past haunt me anymore.”
Satron looked up at all the stairs that led to Genkais' temple. Today was not the day she needed to wear wedges. She always forgot about wearing sensible foot wear when coming here. Even though she knew she was going to do yard work.
“I haven't had to walk all of these stairs in forever ...matter of fact I don't even think I ever walked the stairs” she sighed as she pulled a white bucket full of gardening tools out of her car.
“I wonder are there still a hundred and thirteen stairs. One, two, three........fifty-five...........eight-eight...............Hundred........ ... Hundred and twelve.”
Out of breath she finally reached the top of the stairs and said
“Hundred and twelve stairs, she has to be hiding an escalator or an elevator or something there is no fucking way I'm walking down hundred and twelve stairs”
“Talking to yourself again are we.”
She knew that voice. She hadn't heard it in what seemed like an eternity. But she knew she would never forget it.
“Genkai. Ever think of an escalator.” She stated.
“You're late....... all these years and you have not changed at all”
“Oh Genkai I missed you so much.”
Satron bend down and hugged her looking around happy to see that nothing had changed in all her time away. She glanced out into the space. There in the cherry blossom tree was some type of shadow figure or so she thought.
“Satron…Satron”
She shook her head. She thought she was just day dreaming. “Yes, I'm right here, you don't have to yell”
“What are you looking at?”
“The bo.....blossom on the cherry tree.”
Genkai looked over to see what she meant; she knew Satron better then she knew herself at times. There is no way you can change boy to blossom. No matter how good you are in the language. However there was no one there, it must have been a shadow from the tree. Genkai motioned for them to walk in the other direction; they walked until they came to an open field.
“You'll work here.” Genkai pointed
“So what would you like me to, do this year.”
“The usual tulips, daisies, roses and trim the bushes and then work on the trees. Satron is Karone coming. You know your mother always ran late too.”
Satron looked down at the ground and twisted her brown hair. She started to speak and then she just cleared her throat. There was a long silence. Then finally in a low voice she spoke.
“There was an accident she…um died last fall”
“I'm sorry to hear that child” Genkai patted Satrons back.
“It's okay. I stay in the business because of her and you're the best customer. Let me get started.”
Satron blubbered out as she tried to change the topic. She was not only the best customer. She had a history with the girls' mother. To be honest Genkai and Karone were like sisters at one point. However life catches up with people. They went from seeing each other a few times a month to seeing each other twice a year for yard work.
“Would you like to look around first?”
“You never change anything. Your house, your land, or your attitude. I think I can find everything just fine.”
“Any items you need are out there already”
Genkai just smiled and walked away. She could not believe she did not know about her dear friend passing. It's been a long time since Satron and her mother had been there, it was nice to at least have her friends' daughter visit. It was nice not to be forgotten. However Genkai wished she could have been involved in their lives more. How unattached had they become for her not to even get a card telling her that she had passed.
Satron looked around thinking where would be a good place to start. She spotted a ladder leaning against some foliage
“I'll start with the trees.”
She began to climb the ladder with her clippers at her side. She got herself situated and pulled up the clippers then began to work. She watched the pieces fall to the ground. The leaves reminded her about how she used to play in the falling leaves while her mother clipped them. She would spin around like a princess. Pretending she was princess of leaves. Satron climbed down and looked at the mess.
“I'll get it later; I have to cut the roses any way. But I don't want too back track.”
She settled on raking the leaves and got them into a pile. Satron began to bag up the clippings. She bent down putting them in a bag when a gust of wind blew away most of her hard work. She ran around trying to catch as many leaves as she could. She thought that would help her situation. She ran all the way down to the lake shore still trying to catch the leaves. Not paying attention she turned around and started to run backward.
Satron did not stop. She could not for some reason, she remembered doing this with her mother. She enjoyed her childhood memories. That was all she needed to keep spinning around out of control. Satron closed her eyes, for that moment she had her mother back. That is all that mattered. She kept scampering around until she hit something and fell.
“Ow ”
She rubbed her head and back. She knew she should have not enjoyed the memory as much as she did. She heard a gentle low voice.
“Are you ok”
Satron lay on her back feeling extremely embarrassed. Her heart was pounding she could not believe someone had seen her. She exhaled slowly opening one eye.
“I'm sorry I'm just so clumsy at times, I should have paid attention.”
Satron quickly sat up; she took her time dusting herself off. She slowly glanced up hoping the person had left, even though she knew they were still there. Satron stood up fully finally lifting her head. There he was. At that moment she decided that she wanted him, no she needed him. There standing before her this red haired, green eyed god or so Satron thought.
“As long as you are ok”
“No, I'm really sorry... I'm Satron”
She extended her hand
“Hello Satron.”
He bent over kissing her hand lightly. He then turned his back and left.
She looked at him as he ran off. Rubbing the top of her hand slightly
“Who was that” she said as she turned to glance at the shore line
“I don't even know his name”
“Satron do you need help”
The voice was loud and gravelly. Not the gentle low voice she had heard before. It was Genkai calling out to her at what seemed like the top of her lungs. Satron wondered what that boy was doing here, she knew for a fact that no one gets into Genkais' home.
“Maybe he was the boy I thought that I saw earlier today.”
“Satron”
“I heard you ...I'm fine Genkai I just have to rerake the leaves.”
