I do not own Yu Yu Hakusho at all but I do own Zinnia.
This fanfiction is about Poltergeist Report and is told from Zinnia's point of view.
I had to put this one up now cause we think our computer has a virus and Dad is going to completely
restart the computer and all my data will be gone but since my fanfics are on the website I can just copy and paste them.
I was going to save this for later for when I finish some of my other fanfics but these are red alert conditions!




You all know about how Yuske destroyed Yakumo, King of the Netherworld, right? Well, believe it or not I was there the whole time. Dont believe me? Well, I'll tell you my story..........


I was peacefully sleeping in the large oak tree in the park when I suddenly woke up to a loud scream that my wolf ears had picked up. I looked around and saw nothing. There was a terrible storm with thunder, lightning and heavy rain. I was soak and wet. I shook the water off me.(you know that shake thing dogs do when they get wet) The scream sounded like it came from someone I knew. I jumped to the other branch which Hiei was sleeping on. I shook him awake.

"Hey, did you hear that?"a loud clap of thunder summoned. Hiei yawned.

"What? The thunder?"he asked stretching. There was another loud clap of thunder. Startled, I jumped into my brother's arms.

"No, a scream." I said shivering a bit. Hiei yawned a second time.

"I didnt hear anything....."he turned on his side. "Go back to sleep."

I was sure that I heard someone scream, but I was too tired to investigate, plus I was afraid of thunder so I jumped back to my branch. I closed my eyes and in a matter of minutes I drifted back into a deep sleep.




The next day I was determined to find out where that scream came from. Someone might be in trouble. I decided to go to Saryaski Jr. High to find my friends Yuske and Kuwabara. I knew Yuske usually hung out on the roof of his school. Why does he always skip class? With my powerful demonic strength I jumped onto the roof. What I saw made me gasp. Below me I saw Yuske and Keiko talking. I stood on the....top of the small......building thingy of where the door was leading back downstairs to the school. Yuske was holding Botan in his arms. Poor Botan looked pretty banged up.

"I have no idea whats going on here......."said Yuske. Keiko looked concerned.

"Botan...."

"Keiko, please take Botan from me and take her to Genkai's temple. You must hurry!"said Yuske. I became worried now. I mean, what could of happened to Botan? I thought for a while. Suddenly it came to me. It was her scream I had heard last night. I decided to go tell Hiei what had happened.



Later, I had decided to go to Genkai's temple to get the scoop on what was going on. I sat on the roof of the temple with my ear pressed against the surface. I could voices of my friends and a voice of someone I didnt know.

"So what should we do Hinageshi?"asked Kuwabara's voice. I listened closely.

"We have to transmit power to the spirit world."said this voice Kuwabara had called Hinageshi.

"How do we do that?"

"Look here, there are places in the human world called elemental sites, where spiritual energy is collected."

"Elemental sites?"said Yuske's voice.

"Like storage tanks of spiritual power?"asked Kuwabara's voice.

"Yes, something like that."said Hinageshi's voice.

Anyway, I listen to this girl named Hinageshi explain the elemental sites and some place I had never heard of called the NetherWorld and their king Yakumo. I guessed that something serious had happened to the spirit world. Suddenly a hand was placed on my shoulder. The first thing I had thought was that it was one of those netherworld demons I heard being mention. I spun around. It was Hiei. I sighed in relief.

"Oh, its only you..."

"What are you doing here?"questioned Hiei.

"Um.....listening......"I replied. "Some girl named Hinageshi is talking something about these things called elemental sites. We need to use them to send power to restore spirit world." I explained.

"Yes, I know of the sites."he looked up at the sky. "You and I will search in the morning."

"Um....okay..but.....exactly what happened to the spirit world?"he looked at me with a serious face.

"It's submerged in water. Now go get some rest."he disappeared in a black blurr.

The spirit world? Subgmerged in water? How could this happen? Why would someone want to do this? Was Koenma okay? There was so many unanswered questions. I was a bit tired so I took my brother's advice. I yawned and fell asleep right there on the roof. I was sure that Genkai wouldn't mind.





The next morning I was awoken by Hiei. I yawned and stretched.

"Mornin'." I said yawning again.

"I have decided that we can cover more ground by splitting up. Once you've opened a site find me immediately."he stated.

"Okay, but what do they look like?"I asked rubbing my eyes. Hiei thought about it for a while. He was thinking of way he could describe what these sites actually look like. He finally answered my question.

"Small shrines."he repiled. "Be careful, netherworld demons are searching for the sites as well." He disappeared in a black blurr like he did last night. I decided that I had better get going too. I jumped off the roof and landed on my feet.

"Now to find those sites...."I dashed off in search of the sites. I figured that they might be somewhere where a lot of people aren't in at one time. I had a strange feeling that something had happened while I was sleeping last night for I could sense strong and completely evil powers. I sensed many weak ones and about 4 strong ones. I figured the weak ones were just henchmen or something and the few strong powers were the ring leaders. I was a bit afraid for my spirit beast Yoko wasnt with me to help me out. He had gone to finish a case the Makai. He had been gone for about a week. I was hoping that he was alright. I was now jumping buildings. I soared in the air as I jumped to each one. I figured that this would be a much easier way to spot the sites if there were any near by. After all Japan is a big place.

I wondered if Hiei had found any sites yet. Being the fastest out of all of us he'd be most likely to find a site first. I also wondered how my friends and Hinageshi were doing. I hoped that they didnt run into the demons I sensed with the strong powers. My friends are strong but as much they might not want to admit it, they know they need Hiei and I. Even though Kurama was with them, they still needed us. Just one demon isnt enough. It had been a while since we've had an adventure so I was a bit excited. As I jumped a building I saw a small platform on the ground. I figured it was probaly one of those sites. I gracefully landed on my feet and ran over to it.

"Hmm.....I think this the earth elemental site."I closely examined it. Suddely I felt someone grab me by my tail. Instantly I spun around. Behind me were about 20 or maybe even 30 netherworld demons. I smirked. "Finally, the fun is getting started."I looked at the demon who had grabbed my tail. "You shall die first."

I killed him in one swipe of my mighty claws. Instantly all the other demons lunged at me.

"Ookami Multiply!"I shouted. I splitted into 6 Zinnia's. I kicked a demon in the stomach, Zinnia 2 sliced a demon's head off with her claws, Zinnia 3 shot a fire ball at a demon, Zinnia 4 summon the Rose Blade and sliced a demon in half, Zinnia 5 summoned the Rose Blade as well and thrusted it through a demon's stomach, and Zinnia 6 changed into her wolf form and totally mauled a demon. This fighting went on for a while. Unfortunately, my Ookami Multiply only lasts for a minute so the other 5 Zinnias disappeared in thin air. I was a bit wounded and had lost a great amount of my energy. I was breathing heavily. There were 3 demons left. I charged at one and punched him the face. Another one of them grabbed me from behind. It strangled me. For a while I thought I was gonna die. I couldn't breathe. My face began to turn blue. I thought it'd be pretty stupid to die fighting the weaker demons. I used the last bit of my energy to use my "Shatter Howl" attack. I let out a loud ear shattering howl. The demon's ears were now ringing. He angrily threw me into a tree. My shirt got caught on a branch deep inside the tree. I was too weak to struggle free. After a few minutes I heard a loud explosion of energy.


I figured that the 3 demons had destroyed the elemental site. I had failed. I hoped that Hiei wouldnt be angry with me. He's never been angry with me before but I was afraid that he would be now. Suddenly I heard running. It was my friends. Unfortunately, for me they couldnt see me for I was deep in the tree where the branches and leaves covered me up pretty well.

"Oh my God! What's going on?!"screamed Kuwabara's voice. I had wished that they had arrived earlier for they could of helped me.

"It's incredible....!"shouted Yuske as strong winds began to pick up from the stream of energy.

"This is no good!"shouted Hinageshi. Now I felt even worse that I had failed.

"What do you mean 'no good'?"asked Kuwabara. Hinageshi pointed to the energy.

"Look there, look at that color! The elemental site has been destroyed. What is streaming out is not spiritual power.....but the power of the netherworld!"

"The netheroworld?!"outbursted Yuske.

"Those demons are able to convert spiritual power into netherworld power!"

"So thats netherworld power?"asked Kuwabara. Hinageshi gasped.

"If they are able to steal the power from each of the elemental sites then they........."she started.

"Yeah....then....?"

"Then the spirit world will be inaccessible forever!"she screamed. Kuwabara gasped.

"And then there will be nothing any of us will be able to do!"said Yuske.

"Right!"confirmed Hinageshi.

"Let's hurry! They might be still ahead of us but we must protect the other sites! Let's split up! Are you ready?!"

"Yeah!"shouted Kuwabara. Next I hears footsteps seperate in different directions. I heard one of them coming toward me. The only thing I could do is make as much noise as I could to grab their attention. I began to whimper and let out low howls. Sure enough someone heard me.

"Zinnia? Is that you?"asked a soft gentle voice.

"Please get me outta here....."I whined. Now I heard the branches creak and leaves rustle as the person climbed up the tree. Once I saw the familar red emerged from the leaves I sighed in relief. I laughed nervously. "Uh....hi Kurama....."the red head wrapped his arms around me and safely carried me out the tree.

"Zinnia, what happened?"asked Kurama looking very concerned.

"I....I was listening last night and heard about the elemental sites....."I started.

"Yes...go on....."

"and Hiei said that he thinks that it'd be better for us to split up!"I continued.

"and....."

"I found this site and was attacked! I finished off all but three and one of them threw me in the tree...."I finished.

"I see........Zinnia?"

"Yes?"

"Go back to Genkai's temple and get some rest."ordered Kurama.

"No....."I answered. "I wanna help! Im part of this team too!"

"That may be true.....but you're injured..."

"Nuh uh! Im fine!"I began doing different poses. Kurama sighed.

"Very well then......why dont you help me find one of the sites."he offered.

"Okay!"I shouted happily. "Let's go!" I changed to my wolf form, I quickly ran over to the destroyed site and quickly sniffed it "I got the scent!"I thought then ran off.

"Zinnia, wait up!"shouted Kurama running after me. This time I wasnt gonna fail. I figured that it'd be easier if I was in my wolf form so I could just sniff the sites out. I ran threw a dark alley knocking over trash cans and stuff. Kurama came running try to keep up, jumping over the knocked the trash cans and then slipping on a banana peel.

"It's on the other side of town!"I thought to myself. Kurama quickly recovered from his fall and ran back after me.

"Zinnia, slow down!"pleaded Kurama running as fast as he could. I did as he asked and put a little less pep in my step. Now Kurama and I were running side by side. I stopped at an intersection. There were 3 ways to go. I sniffed around a little bit. Kurama stood and waited. I lifted my head in the air and took a big whiff. I turned to Kurama and motion my head to the right.

"This way!"I thought and ran off. Kurama was once again following me. Now we were running through a crowd of people. "Watch it! Coming through! Tryin to save the world here! Step aside, please!"I thought to myself even though no one but animals and animal demons could understand me in this form. "Move it! Ookami coming through! Get out the wa-......hey......those hotdogs look good."I stopped at the hotdog stand. I lept up so my front paws were on the stand.

"Hey! Shoo! Get away!"screamed the hot dog stand guy. Kurama pulled me off the stand by my collar.

"I must apologize for my dog. She loves hot dogs."he looked down at me. "Shame on you, Zinnia!"I looked up at him and whimpered. Kurama smiled. "Okay, okay....."Kurama looked up at the man. "Two, please!" the man pulled out two hotdogs and squirted yellow mustard on them. He handed them to Kurama and he gladly paid for them. He kneeled next to me and gave me my hot dog. I took it out his hand and swallowed it whole.

"That was good!"I thought happily. "Now to find that elemental site!"I ran off again.

"Zinnia, wait!"screamed Kurama running after me.

"You know you should really keep your dog on a leash!"shouted the hot dog man as we ran off." I ran through another crowd of people and turned the corner around a building. I stopped at a large fence. That gave Kurama time to catch up.

"Zinnia what's wro-"just then he noticed the fence. I began to burrow uner the large fence. Once I made a hole big enough I slipped under the fence came out on the other side. Kurama sighed and began to climb the fence. Once he got to the top he somehow lost his balance and fell. Fortunately, his fall was broken.....by landing on me. I let out a sharp yelp. "Sorry, Zinnia." apologized the redhead. He moved off of me. I slowly stood up, my legs wobbling a bit. Once I had recovered my balance I ran off again. Kurama sighed and once again ran after me. After running a bit we ran into a park. I stopped at a bush. I turned to Kurama and motioned toward the bush.

"Come on, man! I gotta go!"I thought. I kept motioning to the bush but Kurama still stood there confused. Once he realized what I was trying to tell him he turned around and gave me my privacy. I slowly approached and bush, lifted my leg, and......well....I guess you can guess the rest. Once I was done I ran off yet again. Kurama followed.

"Wait up, Zinnia!"he shouted. I stopped.

"It's close!"I thought. I began to pick up speed. Finally, I stopped at a small shrine like thing. The enviroment was dark and scary. I looked up and saw a track with a subway running across it. The subway passed by with its head light that was so bright that it blinded me for a second or 2. "This must be an elemental site."I thought. Kurama caught up.

"Zinnia, you've found it!"he ran over to it and kneeled down. He turned around when he heard me whimper. He blinked. I layed down on my back and whimpered some more. Kurama smiled. "Okay......"he then began to rub my belly as a reward. After all, I am a canine and we doggy-dogs love belly rubs! Kurama stood up and walked over to the site. I sniffed around and had the scent of the next elemental site. I barked franticly to inform Kurama. He looked up. "I can take it from here, Zinnia. Go and inform everyone else that we've found a site."I nodded and ran off.
