Chapter 1- Never Let Go

No matter where you are, I will always be with you.

Promise?

I swear it…

The ground was shaking and as you ran, you slipped and fell in the edge of a hole…a hell hole. A swirl of darkness was pulling you in while you tried to climb out. You screamed to your love for help.

"Kurama! Help! I'm can't hold on!"

"Kurama looked back with a surprised expression on his face. He ran to you and grabbed both of your arms. You held on to his necklace and his hand for dear life. Then you both see demons pulling you farther into the hell hole. You looked at Kurama for the last time. You studied his white hair and his golden eyes now sparkling with tears. You both were being pulled apart farther and farther. You only had enough strengthe to place one last kiss on his lips. Kurama's necklace broke and you fell into the swirling pool of darkness. Clutching onto Kurama's necklace, you prayed that you would see him again.

"NOOOO!! (your name)!!" Kurama yelled his arm still extended.

You extended your arm too while the demons held onto you dragging you down. Before his face faded into the dark you could only let out three last words to him…

I love you…

Kurama's P O V

"(your name)!!! NOOOOO!" Kurama cried. "(your name)…"

Kurama stumbled to his knees. He started leaning into the hellhole hoping to join you. He was so close to the edge that he was an inch away from falling inside….

"Kurama! You idiot! What ARE you doing??!!" Yusuke yelled pulling Kurama backwards. "We gotta go! This place is gonna blow up any second!"

Yusuke pulled Kurama. He grabbed Kurama's hand and started running as the others followed.

Kurama looked back as the hole seemed to swallow the abandoned castle. Tears flew from his eyes.

The demons dragged you down to what seemed like the bottom of hell. There in front of you was a hidden figure. He turned around and all you could see was his cold, white lips.

"Let go of me you dirty creatures!" You screamed struggling.

"Quiet down little demon." A scratchy voice demanded.

You stopped moving and looked up only to see those cold lips moving.

"Who are you?" You asked glaring at the creature.

The figure stepped a little closer to you. "I am Master Koharu, Ruler of this dark world before you. Is it not comfortable enough for you?"

"What is it you want of me? Why did you drag me down here!" You demanded.

"He he, you're very lucky that I didn't kill you right away which happens to most of the souls that I drag down to this hell. I would never want to slice up that beautiful face and body of yours." Koharu said.

"Why me Koharu…why me of all people?!"

"There is one little thing…" He stepped closer smiling a little. "I just want you to do me a small favor. Do you happen to know a young fellow named Yusuke Urameshi."

"Yes…" You answered. He's one of Kurama's closest friends.

"Excellent." Koharu chuckled.

"I want you to kill him for me. You see, I have been trying to find a way to bring him down here to my world, but all my schemes seem to not work. But you…you can kill him for me, how would he ever know?"

"KOHARU! I AM NOT GOING TO KILL YUSUKE EVEN IF MY LIFE IS STEAKED ON IT!" You yelled starting to struggle.

Koharu glides swiftly over to you and grabs your chin. His claw-like nails digging into your skin causing you to bleed. You stop struggling because of the pain. You look up only to see two red eyes glaring at you.

"Do not fret yet, little demon. In return…if you do this for me, I will grant you your wish…of being with Kurama again."

Your eyes widened. You felt the necklace between your fingers. Be with Kurama again? You hesitated as Koharu smiled. Then Koharu blew some smoke into the air. You stared at it as it swirled into images. It suddenely became you and Kurama where you last saw eachother and you slipping away from his arms. Tears started forming as it replayed over and over and over. Koharu sighed mockingly.

"Pity, pity, pity…torn away from your lover to live here in a place like this…hell."

"If I am to kill Yusuke, I can reunite with Kurama again…" You asked to make certain.

Koharu nodded his head to the demons to let you go. You start rubbing your wrists getting the circulation back.

"You're nothing but a dirty bastard!" You screamed.

"You know, I am being very good to you right now. I am giving you the chance to be with the one you truly love."

"How do you know I would keep my end of the deal?" You said.

"You see, the thing is, when you are sent down here to me I already own your soul." Koharu said. "Any time I could take your soul away and you would be stuck down here for the rest of eternity. In other words, I control you."

"So, anytime I can make you kill Yusuke. But I would rather see you kill him yourself."

You sniffed trying to stop the tears from coming but they just kept escaping from your eyes. Then you looked up at Koharu, he had something shining in his hand. It was your necklace! As you looked at it, the image of Kurama appeared. This time you couldn't hold back you just broke down and cried in front of the ruler of hell. Your tears pleasured him.

Face it, (y/n)…This is your only hope." Koharu said throwing the necklace in front of you.
