Kaline's P.O.V.

 

I saw this vision like a lightning bolt to the brain. I quickly changed my clothes and rushed out to Lyrics room. She was still sleeping, arms and legs spread out, taking up all of the bed. I ran to her and shook her shoulder to wake her up. She didn't move and inch. I shook her again.

“Five more minutes.” She said, waving me off and turning over. Her back was facing me now and she curled up into a ball.

“Wake up dammnit. Besides that five minute stuff never works anyway.”

“What the hell do you want? It's Saturday. It's my day off from fighting. And when I was still in school that extra five minutes always worked. Well…..most of the time.” She replied. I rolled my eyes at her.

“Wake up I have something important to tell you.” She sat bolt upright in her bed and looked at me.

“What is it?” She asked a little annoyed. I told her about my vision.

“It's probably nothing Kay. Don't harp on it ok?”

“Yeah I guess I'm just overly stressed with all this stupid shit.” I shook my head, reassuring myself.

“Right. Now get out so I can change.” She said to me.

“I thought you were going back to sleep?”

“Are you kidding me? I can't get back to sleep. You woke me up and I'm staying up. Plus it's 10:45, you know how I am. I don't like getting up too late.” I laughed a little and retreated to the living room. I saw Kuwabara kneeling down on the floor looking for something.

“Where is it? Aaaaaarrrrrgggghh. Is that it? No. Gah.” He was talking to himself, spreading his hand all over the carpet. I looked over to Yusuke. He was trying to cover up his laughter. I walked over to him.

“What the hell did you do to him now?” I asked.

“Oh nothing.” He broke out into uncontrollable laughter. I raised an eyebrow. “Ok, ok. Hahahahahahaha. I told him that I lost a very tiny little chip and he that he knocked it out of my hand and that if he doesn't find it soon then it will go off. It is secretly a bomb and if it goes off then the demon world will take over all of the other worlds.”

“Oh my god, he really believed that?” I asked.

“Uh duh.” said Lyric behind me. “That dope believes everything you tell him.” She went into the kitchen and looked into the fridge. “Man there's nothing to eat.”

“Go shopping-BOOOOOOOOOOM- what the fuck was that?” yelled Lyric. We both turned around to see Yusuke with a blow horn. The noise was still going.

“TURN THAT FUCKING THING OFF!!!!!!” yelled Lyric.

“YEAH BEFORE I MAKE YOU.” I yelled. He just laughed as Kuwabara went crazy.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THE WORLD IS ENDING!!!!!” He screamed.

“Hahahahahah- AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!” yelled Yusuke as Hiei zoomed in and kicked him dead center in his chest.

“Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.” said Lyric. Hiei quickly punched Yusuke in the face, he was out cold. He snatched up the loudspeaker. Unfortunately he couldn't find the button to turn it off. I looked down and saw the button at my feet.

“Shit.” I reached down and picked it up. Hiei was now going crazy.

“WHERE'S THE DAMN BUTTON!!!! WHAT THE HELL!!! I CAN'T STAND THIS NOISE.”

“UM HIEI?!?!?!” I was laughing my ass off.

“WHAT?!?!?!” I showed him the button and he scolded at the loudspeaker. He whipped out his katana and tried to stab it, it didn't work so he stepped on it multiple times.

“Nice.” I said.

“Hn. That damn idiot almost made me lose my hearing. I should kill him for that.” An evil smirk appeared on his face.

“No Hiei you can have you fun later.”

“Hn.”

“Ok well now that that's done we can get down to the bottom of this shit.” Lyric got a disgusted look on her face. I could tell the thought of all that has happened really got to her.

“Aggghhhh” cried Yusuke. Hiei punched him again and he was out…again. I looked at him with an arched brow.

“What?” I rolled my eyes. We heard noise as if something had fallen on the floor. We all looked at each other with a looks of confusion. We ran into the next room to see Genkai with a huge book.

“Genkai? May I ask what that is?” asked Kurama who had just joined us from the other room.

“It's a book from Koenma. It should help us find what we are looking for.”

“And what is it exactly that we're looking for?” I asked.

“The man that is doing all this of course.” I stood there feeling stupid.

~Wow I feel dumb~ I thought.

~Don't.~

~What? Hey Hiei.~

~Hey.~ I looked over to him. He was on the other side of the room by the window sill, slightly smiling at me. ~Don't feel stupid. You are very smart.~ I blushed like an idiot. I looked over to the rest of the team and got back to the conversation.

“Ok we need everyone here.” Genkai looked over the group, Kuwabara had arrived only a few minutes before she said this. “Where is Yusuke?” We all looked at each other and looked away. “Did Hiei beat him up again?” She shook her head and looked down at the book.

“So how is this book going to help us find this guy?” I asked.

“Good thing you asked. When you look into the book you must say a special chant and words will come up giving you hints that only we will understand. But it will only give us certain amounts of hints, just enough to figure this out.” She said.

“So it is like a fortune teller only limited in its power?” asked Kurama.

“Yes that is right.”

“I guess we should get down to it.” suggested Kurama.

“The thing is, a true spellcaster must say the chant.” We all looked over to Lyric.

“Ok ok I get just stop staring at me.” She walked over to the book. “So what's that spell?” She asked. Genkai told her. She looked into the pages of the book and said the chant clearly and in perfect pronunciation.
