Chapter 5: A Time for Lovin' and Despair

Hiei raised himself on his elbow to look at his little family. The children had taken to sleeping on Yusuke, making it an adorable picture to see. Quietly Hiei dressed in easy-to-remove clothing and left the room. Knocking on Yukina's door, Hiei waited until his Koorime twin opened it before entering. “Yukina, you couldn't take Yasuo and Kaiya out for a few hours, could you? I would love to spend a little time with Yusuke, alone.” He said, knowing that Yukina would have a good idea why he was asking. She may be as pure as new-fallen snow, but she caught onto things fast. He noticed Yukina blush and knew that she had worked out what he was asking of her.

 

“You mean that you want time to… that you and Yusuke want to…” Hiei took pity on Yukina and nodded. She had a good idea what he wanted to do from every other time he had asked her in the past. “Hiei, do you think that you and Yusuke will mate and make things official between you?” She asked. She knew how close Hiei and Yusuke was, and it seemed silly for them not to be mated to each other, especially since children was now involved. “I shall take the twins to Kurama's or Kazuma's taking my time to get there and back. Just answer my question before I do.”

 

“I have all intention and planned on broaching that subject to Yusuke today.” Hiei confessed. “The twins deserve a father, and none other would nearly be as good as their biological one. None could care for them more. Plus, I think he already has plans on asking me to be honest. He needs a nudge.” Hiei turned to leave the room. “I shall get the twins dressed if you wait for them at the door.”

 

Silently Hiei returned to his room and walked over to the bed, gently awakening his son and daughter. Placing a finger against his lips, he told the children to make no noise as the opened their mouths to question why their mother woke them. Telepathically Hiei told them that Auntie Yukina was taking them out for the day and that they were to be good for her. Both twins nodded as Hiei gave them both a tight hug and took them to the door, where Yukina was waiting. “Thank you, my sister.” He said as he looked back at his half-naked lover, now beginning to stir. “I shall see you all later.” With that he turned to face his, now awake, lover. “Well, good morning my Yusuke.” He said as he prowled back towards the bed.

 

“Where's the…” Yusuke's question was cut off by a kiss as both of Hiei's hands tugged the only clothing, Yusuke's underwear, off. Yusuke gently pushed Hiei back, eliciting a whine from Hiei. “Where are the kids?” He asked before Hiei kissed him again, before realising that Yusuke wasn't going to give him what he wanted until he spoke.

 

“Yukina has taken them out for a while. I wanted some time alone with you.” He lowered his lashed, a look that he knew drove Yusuke mad, and usually made his beloved give in. “I want to make sure that you will always be mine, that you will always be my mate.” He saw exactly what he wanted to see. He saw Yusuke's brown eyes glitter with the same desire as always, and with that a little curiosity. “We have a while to get this done. I want to be your mate, and I hope that you want to be mine in return.” Yusuke stared at Hiei, how could he not want to be mated to the one who had carried his children?

 

“So what do we do?” Yusuke asked. “It isn't as though my father had a chance to broach the subject before he…” Yusuke suddenly fell silent. Although Raizen wasn't his true father, for the short time that he had known the Toushin, he had been more of a father to Yusuke than his biological one. That was what had made Yusuke want to be a part of his young ones lives. He knew how it felt to be abandoned by one's own father. Hiei laughed quietly, Yusuke was like a blank canvas, a canvas that Hiei could paint on as much as he wanted, and that he would own before noon. He caressed Yusuke's face before nipping his shoulder with his teeth.

 

“I prefer to show than to explain.” Hiei said as he removed his pants and returned to leaning over Yusuke. “I'm sure that you'll find my way much more pleasurable.” He kissed and licked a path down his lover's body, his gentle touches enflaming his lover. Hiei smirked as he saw the result of his actions and started to show his love's erection more attention. Deep-throating his love, he heard the most annoying sound; the phone was ringing, and Hiei grumbled once he was able as Yusuke answered the call.

 

“Hello, Kurama… No Yukina isn't here she has taken the twins out… Yes it was to leave us alone… Try Kuwabara's.” With that Yusuke set the receiver down and turned back to Hiei. “Now where were we?”

 

“I'm not stopping my actions next time that thing rings.” Hiei said growling. “Let them be embarrassed by us fucking. I want my treat and your ass my Detective.” He said before returning to lapping at his lover's erection before deep-throating it once more. Yusuke's fingers entwined in Hiei's hair, making the fire apparition whimper around the hard length, and in return Yusuke came closer to finding his release. He pressed himself tighter against Yusuke as he felt his climax fast approaching… that was until the doorbell rang and he hissed in annoyance, having to release his Detective from his grasp. “Get rid of whoever it is, before I lose the little patience that I possess and take your ass in front of them.” The fire apparition said between clenched teeth. Yusuke, seeing the look in his lover's face quickly pulled a bathrobe on before leaving to answer the front door. The person standing on the other side was none other than Keiko herself.

 

“Uh, Keiko, it's nice to see you.” Yusuke said, knowing how he would look to her… not that it was a lie. “What can I do for you?” He asked, trying to get her away as quickly as he could, knowing that Hiei would come good on what he said about taking his ass. He kept looking at the bedroom door, trying to gauge how long it would take for Hiei to get to him from their bedroom. “You've just caught me at a bad time, I'm afraid.”

 

“Well, I was hoping to ask your opinion on my new apartment, but if you're otherwise engaged I'll…” She cut off when she saw Yusuke's bedroom door open and a miffed, naked, Hiei staring at Yusuke. “Oh, it was one of those moment's I'm sorry, I'll leave you alone.”

 

“Good.” Hiei said, the next moment he had Yusuke pinned to the floor. “Finally, we can finish what we started, eh, Yusuke.” He realised that Keiko was still in their front lobby and turned Yusuke onto his back. `Shall we give your ningen ex a little something to remember? I think we should.' Before Yusuke could answer `aye' or `nay' to his lover's telepathic question, Hiei's hard member pushed back into his body, removing all thought of complaining from him. “Th… thank you. That is very generous of you.” She said as Hiei showed her the bathroom. Hiei collected the clothing as she showered. Yusuke was still trying to get over having sex with Hiei in front of his ex-girlfriend while his lover was doing so. Seeing the look on Yusuke's face, Hiei snickered. He loved seeing the shock on his love's face.

 

“Yusuke, I suggest that you stop giving me ideas for your mouth, or I'm afraid that Keiko may find the next sight puts her in the same position as before.” The comment made Yusuke blush and run into their bedroom. Snickering again, Hiei walked to the bathroom and knocked on the door. “Some clothing for you, Keiko.” He said, trying to keep the amusement out of his voice. “It is sitting at the door.” He lay the kimono on the carpet as he left to make some food for Yusuke, satisfied, well as much as he could having had his plans abruptly changed.

 

Once she had showered and dressed, a very embarrassed Keiko left in a hurry, and shortly later Yukina and the twins returned home. It didn't take long for Yukina to find out that one of her kimonos was missing and when she enquired about it, Hiei told her of Keiko's visit and that she `spilled' something over her pants. All the time, the twins and grabbed hold of their father and were snuggling close to him. Yusuke managed to manoeuvre them so he could sit down and they climbed onto his lap. It was then that Kaiya reached out to her mother and when Hiei held his quiet daughter she giggled as she tried out a little trick that Yukina had shown her earlier; she used some of her ki to freeze her dad's coffee, and both mother and daughter laughed as Yusuke tried to drink his coffee, getting a glare from Yusuke.

 

Yukina smiled. She had shown the trick once to Kaiya, but she picked up on things fast. “She's very intelligent.” She said “I showed her that once and she picked up on the basics, something that I had some problems with. You should be proud of her. However she tires out fast, maybe we should put the children to bed so we h=can have a little talk, hmm?” She asked as she offered her hands to the children and took them to their bed. When she returned she stared at the pair. “So, what happened?” She asked excitedly.

 

“Nothing.” Hiei said simply. “We had that many interruptions that we lost that little romantic feeling.” He sighed, holding Yusuke's hand. `We say nothing about Keiko catching us at it.' He said telepathically to Yusuke. “Keiko was the last straw… you try having sex after your partner's ex has come to visit. It looks like we have to wait for another day before we can try again.” He said, tugging Yusuke closer to him. “For now we need to see to our children.” He said as he stood up, Yusuke following suit. “We'll just get some food and turn in ourselves.”
