It was a dark, damp night. She was all alone. She had lost her family, her friends. She missed them so much. She was Botan.

Kurama was her only reason to live. Her only friend with her. She thought of him as her boyfriend, but no possible way! At least, that was her opinion.

~Kurama's POV~

Botan… What a beautiful name. But, her name was nothing compared to her wits and looks. I wish she could be mine, but it'll never happen. Her laugh seems… joyful, and I have longed to hear it ever since the tragedy 6 months ago. It's as if her laugh doesn't even exist anymore. She acts like she is holding on for something, but I can't tell what. I wish she would tell me…

~Botan's POV~

I'm so glad I have someone left. I miss Lord Koenma, Yusuke, all of them. I know it's been 6 months since… since… well, I'll just put it at that, and hope you understand. I'm still mourning… Oh, why'd they have to leave me here almost alone?

Tell me one thing, God. Why can't I tell Kurama how I feel? I'm thinking that it might be because… I don't want to be rejected… Ohh… This is such a burden…
