Chapter Two

~Botan's POV~

I awoke in Kurama's bedroom; he was sleeping beside me in a chair. 'I should let him sleep,' I thought and walked out of the room into the kitchen. I made a sandwich and walked into the living room, where I was greeted with a, "Ohayo gozimasu."

"Good morning as well, Kurama-kun," I said and smiled. "Umm… I need to pick up two of my friends from Reikai today… Gomennasi."

"Oh… Alright, Botan-chan," Kurama said with a little of dissapointment in his voice. "What type of demons are they?"

"Well, Ana is a girl, and she looks the age of Yusuke or Kuwabara. She's part fire demon and part human, and she looks a lot like Hiei, with black hair and red eyes. Steven is a boy, and about the same age as Ana. He's part wind demon and part human, and both of them are half-brother and sister. They're connected through their mother."

"Ah, okay. I wonder how much Ana looks like Hiei?" wondered Kurama. "They look really similar, actually." I said. "But anyway, I need to go now…"

When we arrived in the park to pick up Ana and Steven, they were talking on a bench while they waited for us. "Hey guys!" I exclaimed. "Hey Botan," greeted Ana, while Steven just nodded.

"Alright, Ana, Steven, this is Kurama. Kurama, this is Ana, and Steven," I stated. "Hajimemashite," Kurama said and smiled warmly. I took his hand in mine and listened to the conversation. "Konnichi wa! How are you?" asked Ana. "I'm fine, thanks. You?"

"I'm good. Umm… Botan? Could I talk to you in private, please?" Ana wondered. "Sure," I said.

We walked over to a tree and Ana asked, "Botan? Are you and Kurama an item?"

"Well… Yes, I suppose you could say that." I replied. "Ah, I thought so. I could sense some kind of a 'love connection' between you two. Especially when you held his hand." Ana stated and I blushed. "How did you know?"

"Hn, it was obvious. The way you kept looking at Kurama, and blushing." she said and I blushed more. "Alright, could we please drop the subject?"

"Fine, we can." she stated. "Ana? Do you want to meet the gang?" I asked. "Sure."

Some time later, the four of us were walking with Hiei, Yukina, and Keiko. Believe it or not, we thought Hiei was killed, but a year later we found him standing on Kurama's doorstep.

"Hey, guys. This is Ana," I said, and gestured towards Ana, "and Steven." I gestured towards Steven. "Ana is part fire demon and part human, and Steven is part wind demon and part human."

"Nice to meet you," said Yukina and Keiko. "Hn," greeted Hiei. "Well, well. Nice to see you again, Hiei." Ana stated. "Hn, it's been a while." Hiei replied.
