She appeared out of nowhere, holding up a sword to the trespassers.

"Who're you and nani business do you have on Lord Yusuke's lands!"

"I.."The white-haired, golden-eyed fox demon answered. "Am Lord Yoko, this..." he said with a nod to his head,"is Lord Hiei."

The girls eyes widened in realization.

"So, nani is your name?"

Her eyes were brown, but her hair was black and she looked oddly like Yusuke himself and the aura around her couldn't be mistaken.

"Reiken, after sofu."

Yoko and hiei raised an eyebrow.

'Unless the old man had two children, she definitly is Yusukes, but I thought he was married to Keiko. Interesting indeed.'

She folded her arms under her breast, which Yoko kept eyeing.

"Did otoosan request you to come? Or did you just decide to visit?"

Yoko smirked,"Yep. You're otoochan sent for us."

Reiken glared at him.

"While we're discussing family, who's you okaachan?"

"Do you enjoy acting like a child and being a bakarashi?

"Hai, osoroshiku." He said still smirking.

"Hmph!" She turned around and started walking, the two lords following. (Yokos eyes glued to her ass.)

She stepped and turned around. "Stop staring at my ass!"

Yoko was taken back, but amused,"You going to make me?" he asked with a devilish smirk.

She growled and unsheathed her katana.

'She's left handed!" Yoko thought.

A scream ripped through the silence.

Another growl and she was running in the direction, Yoko just shrugged and followed, while Hiei rolled his eyes, 'this is a waste of time' taking off after them.

"You!" Reiken growled/shouted.

"Agghhh! Reiken!" There were six youkai and she attacked.

She cut the head off of one, slashed anothers belly, stabbed one that was on the ground and using her sword, holding the hilt, her feet in the air kicking two others, then spining, cut the last one in half.

"Bastards" she muttered.

There wa a rustle, she looked around and saw two pairs of hidden eyes, sheathing her sword, she squatted down and said,"It's okay."

They were children, bird demons, one had black wings, the other had brown, the one with black was a girl, the other a boy.

"But..but you're a...a species of cats." she was hugging the boy and she was the oldest, but they didn't have clothes.

"True, but...oh, here." Reiken took off her shirt and held it out to the girl, who quickly took it and covered herself.

Reiken turned around only to have something black thrown at her and landing in her arms. She looked down and noticied it was two things, a shirt and the coat Hiei was wearing. Looking up, Hiei was taking off the white cloth around his neck. She looked back down and turned back to the children and handed the boy the black shirt, as he put it on, she put on the black coat.

As she looked at them she noticied they were a bit unconfortable. Reiken stood up and walked to their back.

"Hold still." She said ripping open hold for their wings.

"Better?"

"Much, thanks!"

"No problem, now wheres your clan?"

"Right here."

Reiken looked up and smiled, "Suzu."

"Reiken." The demon said with a nod.

"Aren't you famous." Yoko said.

"And you're not?" Reiken asked with a raised brow.

"Well nani can I say?"

"Hopefully nothing." Looking at the birds she said, "We have business to attend to, excuse us." And with that she left, the lords following.

About 3 days (running) they finally made it to the lords building.

They entered about 3 doors later Reiken stopped, her clasw digging into her plam. She turned around sharply.

"Nani?" Yoko asked innocently.

"I thought I told you to stop looking at my ass!"

"Ohh?" He said, a light entering his eyes. "How do you know it was me? Besides its not like anyone can see it throught that black coat."

Reiken's eyes were changing drastically. They changed to a dark blue and shaped into a cat's eyes. On her head sprouted a pair of ears and a tail also appeared.

At this Yoko's eyes did widen. 'Jaguar!'

"Miss Reiken!" She looked around, there stood Yukina.

"Nani?"

"Why are you about to attack Mr. Yoko?"

"Yukina, maybe he just diserves to be attacked! "You know, like..."

She glanced at Hiei then looked back at her,"that pitiful rock you call an island should be."

Hiei looked at her and Yukinas eyes widened.

Yoko eyebrows were raised, 'Well, that was unexpected!'

Yukina recovered and said," After nani they did to my kyoodai, just because he was different."

There was an awkard silence, Reikens ear twitched and her tail swung back and forth as she started back down the hall.

The next up was chaos, everyone was either shouting, arguing, or beating each other up. Reiken's eye twitched, Yukina, kinowing nani was coming, covered her ears.

Eye twitch.

Tail twitch.

Ear twitch.

"Shut THE HELL UP YOU FUCKING BAKAS!"

Yoko had covered his own ears, while Hiei slightly winced.

Everyone stopped and were silent.

"Now nani the hell is going on?"

No one answered.

She growled and went up to a 6'7 demon and yanked him down to her level, which was 5'2, 5'3.

"You see these?" Showing her claws, the demon nodded quickly.

"Good, do you know nani I can do with them?" Same impression.

"Wonderful, Nani the fuck is happening!"

"I don't know, it started as an arguement between two demons and turned into a fight that everyone joined in! I swear Reiken!"

Apparently annoyed she said," Why am I not surprised and who dosen't swear!" She finished by releasing him and asked,"Where the hell is that bastard?"

"Which one?"

Casually leaning against the wall was Yusuke.

"Well, if it isn't otoochan kawaii." She said sarcastically.

Yusuke glared at her, she glared back.

"Go to your room."

Her smile was dangerous, putting her hands in the coats pockets, she said,"Why should I? Oh, forgive me if I'm not a saint like the rest of your brats." As she was talking , she was also walking by him.

Yusuke reached out and grabbed the front of the coat, his voice was more dangerous."Why are you wearing Hieis jacket?"

She smirked back, "Why ask me? Surely you trust him more than me."

"I've about had it with you smart ass mouth." he said, li8fting her up by the jacket.

Her hands were still in the pockets and the ears and tail had long gone and her eyes were back to normal.

"And I've had it with you." She retorted.

SMACCKK.

The sound echoed through the entire tower.

Her face was hidden by her bangs and her eyes were closed tight and her teeth gritted. The pain was almost unbearable, but she wasn't going to cry! Damnit!

"Look at me!"

She didn't move.

"Reiken!"

Her face slowly turned to face his. Her eyes were burning with defiance, hate and pain.

"Do as I say, until I send someone or come myself, understood?"

She spit blood on to the ground and looked back up at him.

"Yes, sir."

The entire hall was filled with relieved sighs.

Yusuke set her back on her feet and let her go. She turned away, head bowed in defeat, she looked back at her chichi and spit out more blood.

"I watashi nikumu anata." She said and then was gone.

"Is she going to be okay?" Yukina asked.

"She'll be fine." Yusuke answered quietly.

"Are you sure?" Yoko asked.

Yusuke looked at the kitsune. "Yeah." and signaled for them to follow him.

"Okaachan!"(mommy) A little girl shouted.

"Ri!" Yukina exclaimed picking her up.

'Ri!' Hieis eyes narrowed.

The girl had light blue eyes with blue hair, but 3 pieces were greeen and hse was full ice apparition, too.

"You're covered with soot."

"I was trying to conjuure fire!" Hiei had raised an eyebrow.

"Mmm." Yukina groaned. Yoko was trying to hide his mouth with his hand.

"I tried to explain to her, but she won't listen." Toya said walking towards them.

"Why? Nani is wrong with fire, okaachan?"

Yukinas smile was gentle. "Nothing, sweethear. We just can't use it because we're icedemons, not fire."

"You know nani I think's weird." Toya said taking her from Yukina."Is.." holding her up finished with tickling her,"an ice apparition obsessed with fire. Right, Hiei?"

"Hn."

"Hehe, otoochan, stop it!"

"You might want to be careful with that one." Yusuke said.

"Why?" Yukina asked.

"Well, she just might fall for a fire youkai."

"I wouldn't mind." Yukina said softly.

Hiei glared at Yusuke, who smiled sheepishly.

"I'm going to get her cleaned."

"Okay." Toya said kissing them both, one on the cheek the other on the forehead.

When they got to Yusukes office, someone was sitting in one of the chairs.

"Y'know I always wondered why you hated me so much, shrip, but, after awhile I figured it out." the person turned to face them.

"You're her kgoodai." that person was Kazuma Kuwabara. He was wearing a black college outfit.

"Gaf, I would've thought that by now you'd learn not to call me shrimp." Hiei said irritated that he found out.

Kuwabara smiled,"I threw it in for old times sake."

But that didn't change Hieis glare.

"You're different." Toya said.

"Diffinitly matured." Yusuke said.

"That's good, you also seem...smart." Yoko added.

"Enought pointless babble. Why are we here and I want to know how your musume(daughter) knows things she shouldn't."

"Always count on Hiei to get right to the point." Yusuke muttered.

"But nani I'm intrested in is who the kaasan is."

"And Kurama to get the best question in." he muttered.

"Why I'm here."Toya said.

"Yeah and how your musume got so cocky?"

"Alright, alright! One at a time, geesh. Okay the reason we're here is I've got this letter from Koenma."

They all started at that.

"Why?" Yoko asked.

"All this says is he wants us here and he'll tell us when he gets here because Botan's in labor."

00 Blink"Uh, come again?" Kuwabara said. 00

"Yeah, that shock me too. Going on to Yokos question." Yusuke said with a sigh. "Reikens okaasan was the last of her kind. Not only that, but I needed an heir from this world, one that understands youkais and is one can get the respect easier. I didn't tell Keiko, of course and when Reiken was born, her okaasan up and died. Then, I didn't know anything about babbies so I did the only thing that made sense, took her to Keiko. She forgave me and all but after about a year, I hired someone to help me look after her and raise her. The first couple died and I turned to Yukina, who, being Yukina wouldn't accept the pay."

"That's interesting, but..."

"I know, Kuwabara! Even before hse could talk she had an attitude, which is quite creepy, really."

Hiei growled.

"Um, Hiei, I don't have an answer for that because she knows a lot of things that seem impossible for her to know, so go ask her yourself, while you're at it could you bring her here?"

Hiei glared.

"Oh, and why did she have you jacket anyway?"

"Ran across two kids that had nothin on except thier wings." Then, he disappeared.

"Oh." Was his reply.

"Is it just me, or is he less talkative?" Toya asked.

They all looked at each other.

Reiken was laying on her bed with her brusied cheek towards the ceiling. Her right cheeck resting on her arm and her left hand was resting in front of her face.

She sighed and closed her eyes. 'Why did I have to do that, can't I keep my mouth shut?' she thought feeling her cheek.

"No" she muttered with closed eyes and opening them, "That'd be too easy, wouldn't it?"

Closing her eyes again, she let out a deep breath, when she heard two raps at the door.

Opening her eyes she quickly got up and opened the door and met a rather pissed off Hiei.

"Um.." she realizaed she was still wearing his jacket, widening the space she said,"You can come in."

He glared at her, but walked in anyway.

Reiken shut the door and walked to a closet. Rumaging until she found a shirt, she glanced at Hiei, who wasn't paying her any attention, but was looking at her collection of weapons that he suspected weren't just for decoration, she hurriedly changed into the shirt and slowly and cautiously approached him.

"Here, this is yours." "Arigato."

He looked at her, noticing she was an inch shorter than he was. He took his jacket from her and slipped it on. A certain scent reached his nose, her scent.

"Was that all, or..."

Hieis look had cut her off, he folded his arms.

She looked down and stuffed her hands in her own pants pockets, she knew nani was coming.

"How did you know?" he asked, glaring down at her.

"I'm not sure." she uttered, looking at the ground.

Growling, Hiei shoved her against the nearest wall, hard.

"Tell me." He said dangerously into her ear.

She had gasped when her back had slammed into the wall and now he was pushin up against her. He may not have noticed, but she sure as hell did!

Fighting for breath, she said,"I really don't know how! I just know!"

Growling again, he pushed into her.

"Onna."

Trying to fight down a moan, she said,"I told you I don't know!" She moaned/whimpered.

Hiei's eyes widened(slightly) as he realized exactly nani he was doing. He quickly released her and bucked up to a safe distance.

She gave a moan of protest, but quickly gathered her wits. She was breathing heavily and her chest was heaving up and down.

Hiei looked at her and she looked back at him. 'Nani the hell just happened?' he thought. Carefully avoiding her, he walked to the door and opened it.

"Your otoosan wants me to bring you."

Her face was covered by her hair and she was tightly holding her lower stomach.

"I don't need an escort, I know where he's at. Just tell him I'll be there in a minute."

"Hn."

She heard the door shut and sank to the ground.

Hiei leaned against the door with closed eyes.

"Nani the hell is taking them so long?" Yusuke asked.

"It almost makes you wander, doesn't it?" Yoko asked with a smirk.

"You're not helping!"

"Am I supposed to?"

"Shut the hell up!"

Someone walked in...

It was Yukina with Ri.

"Is something wrong?" She asked.

"Not really, no." Toya answered.

"Yukina, did you by any chance see Hiei or Reiken?"

"Iie."

"Reikens home!" Ri said, excitedly.

"Hai." They all answered.

About 5 more minutes Hiei finally entered the crowded (to him) room.

"It's 'bout time! Where's Reiken?" Yusuke asked a little impatiently.

"She said she'd be here in a minute." he muttered.

"Sooo, did you get your answer?" Yusuke asked.

"Hn."

"He didn't get the answer he wanted, though." Reiken murmured entering his office.

Yusuke stood his full height and crossed his arms over his chest.

Reikens hands were stuffed in her pockets, again as she stood in front of her chichi. She lifted her head so that their eyes met. Yusuke looked more mad, then he really was, with that long hair and those marks, but she also had those markings and that hair.

"I'm not sorry, nor am I apolgizing if that's nani you want. By now, you should know that being stuck in my room doesn't work at all."

Yusuke smiled,"I know and I already knew you wouldn't apologize."

She looked at him suspeciously, "Then what?"

"That's nani I'm going to figure out, until then, you're staying here."

She shrugged.

"Reiken!"

"Ri!"

Reiken picked the little girl up and threw er in the air and caught her. Ri was laughing. "Reikan, heheheeh, you smell funny."

Reiken raised and eyebrow,"Do I?"

"Umhm."

"Well, so do you." Reiken said, tickling her.

"Hahahahaheehahee."

"And nani have we here?"

They all turned to face...Koenma with Genkai!

"Old hag, you're not dead yet?"

"Thanks for the warm welcome."

"How's Botan?" Kuwabara asked.

"Huh? Oh..she's..fine."

Hiei growled,"Nani hte hell are we here for?"

Koenma nervously tugged at his hsirt collar and was sweating profusely."Uh..well...um...I u-um."

"Hey, I know nani is different! He doesn't have his binky." Kuwabara said.

"Yeah, you're right. Damn, I can't call him binky breath anymore."

"Will you dumbasses shut up!" Genkai shouted.

"I can see you haven't changed, old hag."

"Neither have you, apparently."

"Koenma." Everyone looked at Reiken. "Are you here because you're chichi's dead? And you musuko needs protected, or is it about a tournament?"

Koenma looked at her incrudelously, as was Hiei, Genkai, and Yoko.

"Tournament!" Kuwabara said.

"So, yer ol' man finally kicked the bucket!"

"Yes," Koenma said, still looking at Reiken,"there's a new threat and he's started with this tournament and..."

"It's been 16 years! Are you crazy?"

"Yusuke, I'm aware of this! Just listen to me! When my chichi died, I had to make an heir and so I did, but we're all in danger, including you three, expecially! You three, unless I'm mistaken, owe me, so repay me by entering this tournament!"

"Why should we, we're not your lap dogs, anymore. Don't you have another team of lap dogs."

"Yes, Hiei, I do, but they're no where strong enough for this. And I need you guys, you have the experience, please, spirit world has changed, not and since I'm in charge, your cases are clear."

"Hn. This is a waste of my time."

"Wait!" Hei had taken two steps when Reiken spoke again.

"This is the best chance to imperfect those new techniques."

Hiei looked at her, his eyes narrowing. "I could as easily use others for those." he hissed.

"Yes, but why waste it on those who don't have enough sense to even know nani their own power is?"

Everyone's attention was on them.

"Do you really want to waste your energy for that?" She asked.

"Hn." and Hiei returned to where he was.

Koenma just looked at Reiken and thanking her silently.

"Ok..ay, how many people do we need?"

"Well, this tournament's going to be longer because you need a total of 9 people."

"Nine! How the hell are we going to get five other people! Unless the old hag is one!"

"Iie, Yusuke, I'm not joining you, but I can help train that musume of yours."

Reiken looked quickly up.

"Yes and with that there's six of you already here." Genkai said.

"Reiken's not competing!"

"The hell I'm not!"

"Rei..."

"How else am I supposed to get stronger? Not only that, but you and Kuwabara were 14 when you were in that Dark Tournament, so don't you tell me I'm too young, because I know better!"

"But..you.."

"Unichi, I can do this! I know I can! Please, give me a chance."

There was silence.

"Well, kido, you got me." Yusuke said softly.

"Who's the other 3?" Yoko asked.

"Unless any of you objects, Chuu, Rinku and Jin."

"S-seriously? They're still around?" Kuwabara managed.

"I'd rather them , the anyone else." Yusuke said as Yoko and Hiei nodded.
