Arrival
His knee's shook violently as he sat on the hard wooden chairs. He sighed as he twirled his finger. His hands were very sweaty and his hands kept on slipping apart. He accommodated himself on his chair trying to find a more comfortable spot, but no avail. He pushed his sunglasses forwards closer to his face as they kept sliding off his sweaty face. His red locks were stuck to the back of his neck like glue as he fanned himself with an old magazine that he found on the coffee table. He looked at his friend beside him.
Keiko Yukimura, strong smart and was know more for her hard right hook. She exhaled while blowing on her bangs that cover her eyes. She kept crossing her legs over and over trying to accommodate herself on the hard as rock chairs.
"Tell me again why we are here? " She asked her redhead friend. He must have been the most beautiful person alive. Strong, smart, kind, polite, beautiful and most important single. What surprise her more was that she never felt attracted to him at all. That was insanity she was told once.
"I believe Yukina talk us into doing this." He responded shattering her thoughts.
They were sitting in a room waiting for Yukina. They were no longer on the main islands of Japan. This was their last place close to civilization and their last chance to back out.
"We must be nuts ne Kurama?" She chuckled.
"Well then I guess it no big deal we are going." Kurama responded.
"I imagine that that place is going to be chaos." She said.
"I be surprise if it isn't, it so bad that Japan doesn't want to be responsible for that island. But for ethical reasons I heard that they have a base set over there." Kurama said.
" The island of Akilku, I heard we are going to be the first people setting foot on that island since the last team and that was there five years ago."
"Wow" breathed out Keiko.
Soon Yukina walked out. Wiping her fore head with the back of her hand.
"Wow its hot, well we'll be leaving in a half-hour." Yukina inform as she sat herself next to Kurama.
"Are we going to have a guide?" Asked Keiko.
"Well, the only thing we will have is refuge is we get into any trouble other than that we are not suppose to bother the base over there and we are our on own but, the good news they plan on giving us all the medical supplies we need." Yukina said as she took away Kurama magazine and fan herself.
"I'll say it again we are nuts for going." Keiko said as she then realized. "Imagined if it's this hot here we'll die of dehydration." Said Keiko as she pulled out a water bottle from the backpack and drank some.
"Well at least we'll die doing a noble cause." Chuckle Kurama.
Keiko glared at him and Yukina giggled.

It was hot that was the only adjective he had to describe this weather. He slowly walked around checking each gate. He saw people outside begging to for work. There were women willing to sell their bodies. Other begging for their children to be helped. Men asking for work. They were all willing to do anything as long as they were let inside these gates.
He never made eye contact with any of them. They were all so helpless. It was wrong that no one would do anything. It was inhuman, but he alone couldn't do anything. He check the last gate making sure the lock was on and walked away hearing the protest of people. Their cries of begging increase. Someday thing would change maybe the next people who are located at this base will take advantaged of them. Maybe they would let them in the base. Exploiting them building them false dreams for now they would let them see that for now there's no cure unless someone takes action.
He walked quickly back inside the house.
"The gates are locked." The tall orange top hair man said.
"That's good" exclaimed his friend who was lying on the sofa fanning himself with his hand.
"Oi, Urameshi aren't you suppose to be doing rounds." The orange top said.
"Kuwabara it's too hot outside." Yusuke said.
"Lazy bums." A third person entered the room.
"Oi, Shizuru why don't you go then." Yusuke said as he glared at her.
"I did already and hey quit staring" said Shizuru as she cross her arms over her chest. She was wearing her spot bra and her military pants. Yusuke had his shirt off and Kuwabara had his whole uniform on.
"It's too hot to think of that, I die if I try to that" said Yusuke as he sat up.
Suddenly they heard shot being fire out side.
"Not again" said Kuwabara. They all hurried outside to see people running away. People were being shot.
Suddenly they saw people trying to climb over the fence.
"Oh holy shit some one call Hiei hurry" Yusuke exclaimed. "Shizuru bring the rifles."
Shizuru hurried inside.
Kuwabara made his way through he halls. Until he came to Hiei's room he quickly ran in not caring to knock.
Hiei was talking on the communication set they had.
"Sir, I'm not going out there if they want to risk their life let them be but our responsibility here is to just to not let any other country trying to interfered." Hiei said.
"Hiei we got problem" Kuwabara said as he cut Hiei from his conversation.
"Fine I'll be out there." Hiei said as he quickly said. " Sir I have to go we'll resume later" and with that he shut the communication.
"What going on" Hiei asked as he rushed outside to the front of the house.
"That" said Kuwabara as people try to climb over the gates and soldiers outside were shooting anyone.
People were scattering everywhere chaos, children lost, parents dead, women hurt, men ran away.
"Damn" Hiei said as he grabbed Yusuke's rifle. He took aim and shot.
The people on the gates look at Hiei.
Then Hiei yelled "LEAVE YOU WILL NOT GET ANY REFUGE HERE IF YOU SUCCEED IN GETTING ACROSS I WILL BE FORCE TO BE HOSTILE WITH YOU NOW LEAVE AND FIND SOME OTHER PLACE AS A HAVEN."
The people hurriedly got off and the soldier finally stopped man slaughtering. Hiei made eye contact with them.
They both stare at each other until the man, leader, and smirk and gave orders to leave.
"Wow I thought you were going to actually shoot someone." Said Shizuru. Hiei had aim at a dead body on the fence.
"Why should I kill them when they have one else to do it?" Hiei said as he approached the gate and started to push of the dead body that were stuck there.
Kuwabara follow helping him.
Reluctantly Yusuke follow and Shizuru went to bring the water hose to wash away the blood.
"Damn I don't think I will last the next six months." Said Kuwabara it made his blood boil to see all these people in need and that they were not allowed to do anything and their leaders didn't want to do anything as far as he knew this place didn't even exist.
"We have to It's seems we won't but we been here almost two years. Six months will be nothing" said Shizuru as she came and started to wash away the blood.
"I just hope they come and pick up these corpses" last time they left them for a week and they stunk the whole place." Yusuke said as he moved his hand into the stream of water.
"Yeah" agreed Kuwabara as he next washed his hands.
"Well, someone else should worry because I won't" said Hiei as he lastly washed his hands.
"Here, put away the rifles." Hiei told Shizuru.
`````````````````````````````````````````````````
"How many more hours?" Screamed Keiko to the pilot.
"Six, then we have to pit stop and another six hours." The pilot responded.
"Damn" cursed Keiko as she told Yukina in her ear the news.
Kurama looked outside the window and the regret as he felt his stomach go weak on him. This was going to be along day.
He look at his watch it was six o'clock he could see from the far side the sun started to set behind the mountains. He stared at the sight in awe.
``````````````````````````````````````````````````````
"Those people must be nuts." Said Yusuke as Hiei finish giving them the news.
"Yeah, well if they get in trouble we have to save them." Hiei said as he sat down on the couch.
"Why?" Asked Shizuru.
"Because loosing three wealthy people would not look good when they are doing a noble cause and they want us to make sure they don't alert other countries of this island situation." Hiei explain as he took of his shirt.
Kuwabara took of his jacket and his shirt also.
"Bet they doing this because they feel guilty for having so much money tired of donating it and now they want to give back personally." Kuwabara said.
"Whatever the reason. We have to put our asses on the line for them. Only if they get in trouble we get to go out other wise we are not suppose to do any contact with the Lones or with The Hatsumo. Lousy group eventually they kill the leader but hen the cycle continues someone with a bigger ego takes over." Hiei said.
"They just don't learn." Shizuru said. As she took off her boots.
"When are they supposed to arrive on the island?" Asked Yusuke.
"Tomorrow" Hiei said as he also took off his boots.
"Man its boring" said Kuwabara as he brought out his deck of cards.
"Go run into the wall that be amusing" said Hiei.
"Shut up shorty." Kuwabara exclaimed.
"Hey I have a higher rank that you now watch it." Hiei threaten.
Kuwabara mumble as he calm himself down and started to play solitary.
Hiei was the leader he had the highest rank he was the Lieutenant, second in command was Yusuke being also one. Shizuru was third and Kuwabara last. Technically Kuwabara was third in command but since Shizuru was his sister and she always boss him around. Well she gained a spot higher.
"Any one hungry?" Asked Yusuke.
"It's too hot to be anything." Replied Kuwabara.
They all sat there glad that sun was going down. The day was very hot but the nights were nice and cool.
"Weird weather ne?" Asked Shizuru.
"Hn" reply Hiei as he saw Kuwabara make a mistake in his game. Too tired he let him be.

"Uh excuse me sir?" Said Yukina.
"Bathrooms are that way vending machine that way and if you like to purchase map is five dollars." He said pointing to all different direction.
"Thanks" said Yukina. As she headed towards the bathroom. Keiko to the vending machine and Kurama look at the maps.

Kurama nodded and looked at the map.
"And I'll take this too." He showed a book.
"Fine that be ten bucks." Kurama paid and then headed towards the restrooms.
`````````````````````````````````````````````
Yukina looked down at the landing place. Keiko nervously twirled her fingers.
"You're supplies will arrive tomorrow it will be an army chopper so be careful with them. Good luck."
All three waved their hand and step off.
The watched the helicopter fly away.
"Damn, there went our last chance." Keiko exclaimed it was very dark.
Kurama brought out the map he bought and took out his flashlight and checked it.
"The place that was build for a clinic is a bout a mile away." Kurama explained.
He waited for a response but nothing.
"Hey" he turned around to find five soldiers with guns pointed at him.
"I'll say this once" the leader said. "No preaching, no giving hope, no interfering with what I do. No protesting. You're just here to heal. Get in my way and I will not hesitate to shoot you. You better no be here as spy because I swear you will die a slow and painful death and if I were you take care of your women." With that said they left.
Keiko finally breathed back to normal and Yukina exhaled the breath she was holding.
Kurama look back at his map. "We better get moving" he said as he picked up his things and led the way.
They arrive to and old little building they step in to find people hiding in there.
They all stare at the strangers. Kurama check his map and found switched.
