Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ Love Through the Oddities ❯ Just a cute little filler chapter ( Chapter 4 )

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]
Ok! This is the 4th chappie to Love Through the Oddities. This is a filler chapter until I've actually deemed that enough time has passed in order to carry on the next chapter. Well, actually, the next chapter will be filler. This one will be them just lounging around and cuddling while getting to know each other better.
Suboshi: I'd say they got to know each other quite well...
Amiboshi: Su!! ::smacks the back of his head:: That wasn't called for!
Yes it was, Ami-chan! Su-chan is just a pervy, sick, twisted mind like me! Anyways, on with the fic and VIVA LA YAOI! Oh yeah, i don't own any of the Nickelodeon shows I might just happen to mention in here.

The next morning, Kurama wakes up to find Hiei held close to his chest and with a slight smile playing on his lips. Placing a kiss on the top of his hair, he pulls him tighter to himself and drifts back off to sleep for a little while longer.
Another hour later, he's woken up by the same demon he'd let sleep earlier with a soft, "Kurama? I'm hungry, let's get up."
A chuckle climbs its way from Kurama's throat before he replies somewhat sleepily, "Sure, koi. I'll make pancakes."
"Pancakes? What are pancakes?" Comes the confused question from the little youkai.
"They're delicious. Just wait until you've tried them. They're as addicting as icecream," Kurama answers with a grin as he remembers when he had first introduced Hiei to what was then officially dubbed 'sweet snow' by the adorable little demon (AN: Hiei? Adorable? When the hell did that happen? Hiei: -_-;;).
"Sweet snow?" His head perks up a bit at the mention of the delightful treat. "If these 'pancakes' are as good as sweet snow, then let's go now!"
They both head down the stairs and Hiei waits as Kurama makes the pancakes. Some powder from a box, eggs, milk, and some spices that are completely foreign to him are all mixed into a large bowl before poured in small amounts into a pan. By now, Hiei was more than convinced that pancakes would be the oddest food that he would ever encounter. He was also questioning whether or not Kurama knew what he was talking about when he said they were as good as sweet snow. This, of course, was before he saw a side that had actually been cooked.
A few minutes later, Kurama sets a small stack in front of Hiei as he drowns his own in syrup. Hiei takes a small bite and then dives into them. Chewing on his second one already, he notices the sticky substance covering the stack across the table from him.
"What's that?" He asks, pointing to the mess on Kurama's plate.
"Syrup. It's good, try some," Kurama encourages before digging back into his treat.
Hiei pours a little onto his plate and dips in a piece. He spends a momment or two sniffing the syrup before taking a bite. Not even a second later, he has the bottle of syrup in his hands again and is also turning his stack into a sticky mess. Chuckling, Kurama watches his little dragon-koi devour everything on his plate in a record time that would've made even Yusuke go slack-jawed. As he finishes, Kurama has to try not to laugh straight out at the amount of syrup smeared on Hiei's face.
Noticing the look the fox was giving him, he asks, "What's so funny, Kitsune?"
Kurama just shakes his face and gets a wet washcloth to get the mess, "You look too much like a child with syrup all over your face. If I told some wandering traveler that you were ten, they probably would believe me."
"Hn. It's not my fault they make Ningen food so addicting...." Comes the answer with tiniest hint of a whine.
"Oh knock it off. Come on, let's watch a movie," Kurama leads him into the livingroom and puts in 'Chicago'. Pulling Hiei into his lap and cuddling him, he adds, "I don't know whether or not you'll like this one, but we have some other gory movies we can watch afterward if you don't."
Of course, he has no idea what 'Chicago' was, nor that it is a musical! So he curls up with Kurama and watches it. About the time Kaisley is shot, he's decided that the constant songs aside, it was a good movie. Any movie where someone died is a good movie. Not long after that, however, it begins to get boring and Hiei finds himself drifting off to sleep while Kurama is still avidly watching.
About an hour into the movie, Kurama finally notices his koi has fallen asleep. Smiling softly, he kisses the top of the midnight hair and snuggles closer before turning back to the movie.
When the movie finished, Kurama watched some cartoons while waiting for Hiei to wake up (AN: Doesn't Kurama seem like the type to secretly love cartoons? He just does somehow...). It was another hour, and two episodes of Fairly Oddparents later, when the little koorime finally woke up again.
"What in the hells are you watching?" Hiei asks as he watches Timmy wish for another idiotic thing that almost gets them all killed in the end.
"Cartoons," was the only reply given by the once-theif.
They sit their and continued watching the animated characters with occasional questions from the fire demon. Around lunch time, they begin to get bored and start roaming around the house in search for something to do. Kurama finds a deck of cards and tries to teach Hiei how to play 'Go Fish'. It took a half hour of explaining and another twenty minutes of actually playing before he finally got a hold of it.
"Any aces?" Kurama asks.
"Go fish," comes the reply from the grinning yokai.
About another hour or so goes by with them playing various card games before they decide that they're hungry. They head back into the kitchen. Hiei waits again while Kurama cooks Ramen Noodles.
"Here you go, Hiei!" Kurama smiles happily as he watches his koibito munch on the pasta for a moment before beginning to eat his own.
The day goes on without much event. Around eleven that night, they start to get ready for bed.
Slipping into bed, Kurama waits for Hiei to join him before saying, "Today was fun."
"Mmm hm. Good-night, Kurama," Hiei replies softly with a quick kiss before curling up against him and falling asleep.
"Night, Hiei."
Err.... Sorry it's taken me so long. I didn't know what to do with this chapter, really. I think I'm just going to start in on the plot next chapter or else I'll never update a soon as I want to. I'm hoping to have the next two weeks...... Hoping is the key word there.....
Tasuki: How're you going to torture them?
I'm not going to torture them for the fourth, and final time!
Darres: Wow. That's a first.
Nuh-uh! Just read my other fics! Not ALL of them include torturing someone...... I don't think..... Lemme check..... *goes off into her fanfics archive* Nope! There are at least 2 that don't include torture of any type!
Inu: And that's out of how many?
Ummm........ >.> <.< Fifteen?
All my muses: -_-;;
