Epic 2: Abhorring Opponents

[Nigenkai]

"THIS IS NOT TEAMWORK, THIS IS TEAM ABUSE!" Akira shouted angrily.

Toshihiko then boinked him on the head hard, "Be quiet, young one."

"I AM NOT A YOUNG ONE!" Akira shot back.

"Akira, stop your bickering and behave like a 14 year old, not a 3 year old." Arashi said sternly.

"You better listen to your Imouto-san, Akira, or I will personally feed you to the Nightmare Beasts along the way." Raven said coldly.

Kyoko and Naomi giggled while Akira grunted, "VERY FUNNY Mitoyama."

Raven smirked and turned away from Akira.

"Y'know, Arashi, you could have other hobbies than just focusing on being the next priestess of the Koizumi Clan." Clayton suggested.

"Hell ya! You need to act more like a teenager than an adult! I mean, why let Akira have all the fun? Huh, get the idea, Arashi-chan?" Rei smiled widely.

"I'm to be the next priestess of the Koizumi Clan. I take my duties very seriously. I have no time to have fun or be like a teenager." Arashi said quietly and seriously.

"She's got a point, love. I mean, when I was to become the next priest of the Koizumi Clan, I had to focus mainly on being the next priest. My onii-san, back then, who, was Taisuke had to protect me and teach me how to become the next priest. Afterwards, he soon left to go fight for the Nigenkai it was my turn to become priest. I terribly missed him and I still do, even though he came back to take my place while I travel with Arashi and Akira." Toshihiko said kindly.

"Yeah, when Kumiko, became the next priestess, and she's still the current one of the Koizumi Clan, she was like Toshihiko. When she was to become the next priestess, she needed protection and Arashi protected her and it with Taisuke, Toshihiko, and I. Kumiko insisted that she come along with Toshihiko and I, but she couldn't because she still has her role as priestess." Akira said.

"Like Kumiko, she was serious about becoming the next Koizumi priestess. I shall do the same and to have fun and be more like a teenager just doesn't seem right. If I have fun, then, I will be unprepared for becoming the Koizumi Priestess." Arashi said quietly.

"Well, Imouto-san, you can have fun once in while." Toshihiko chuckled.

"Having fun doesn't mean you'll be unprepared for becoming the next priestess." Rei said kindly.

"It's SO wonderful to hear your family's history, Arashi." Clayton said dully.

"You have that locket of yours don't you, Clayton? You always wear it and never take it off." Kyoko exclaimed.

Clayton slightly smiled, "Clarissa and I have these lockets that our parents gave us. It's all I have of my little twin sister."

"I hope to find her someday and I hope she's alright. I worry about her everyday, every single second," He turned to face Akira, "I envy you, Akira. You still got your twin sister."

Akira grinned sheepishly and grabbed Arashi and hugged her tightly, "Ya and I'm lucky. I hope you find Clarissa someday."

Clayton then smiled fully, "Hey Akira, can you promise me something?"

"Sure Clayton. What kinda promise you want me to make to ya?" Akira asked as he let go of Arashi.

"Promise me you'll take care of Arashi and keep her safe." Clayton said while smiling gently.

Akira's eyes widened, "You LOVE MY sister!?"

"No, no, I didn't mean it like that, I meant…Um…uh…umm…uh…"

"YOU LOVE MY SISTER! MY YOUNGER SISTER!? WHY YOU…" Akira shouted.

"Akira, I didn't mean it like that, I meant…"

"STOP IT BOTH OF YOU!" Raven screamed.

Akira and Clayton immediately looked at her, with terrified faces, "Y-Yes Raven…"

Naomi chuckled, "You two are so funny! Especially when Raven yells at you!"

"Hush, Naomi, before Raven yells at you." Kyoko said calmly yet while smiling.

"I wonder what these Spirit Fighters will be like…" Naomi said out loud with a smile.

"I hope they're nice and easy to get along!" Naomi chirped.

Kyoko smiled, "I hope you're right, Naomi."

"Stop." Raven suddenly said; immediately, everyone stopped at her command.

"We're here. We're suppose to meet these Spirit Fighters here," She turned to face her team, "You know the drill. Act tough, stern, cold, and brutal, I don't want any lovey stuff unless you MUST do so."

Everyone nodded but the sighed sadly.

[An Hour Later…]

"And Arashi, if you must, play peacemaker so we don't make a bad impression on these Class A Spirit Fighters." Raven said coldly. It had pasted an hour and still no sign of the Spirit Fighters.

"Hai Raven." Arashi said coolly.

Suddenly…

"Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh!" Naomi chanted as she jumped up and down.

"In god's fucking name, will you stop saying, "Ooh"? It's annoying the hell out of me and your teammates." Raven said distantly.

"I see them! I see them! I see them! I see them! I see the Class A Spirit Fighters!" Naomi chanted happily as she continued to jump up and down.

Everyone turned and saw 5 figures walking towards them.

Then, everyone turned to face Naomi and everyone (even Raven) sweat dropped, "Calm down Naomi."

"How can I be calm when our new teammates are almost here?" Naomi said excitedly, she still jumped up and down.

"Don't make me hurt you, Naomi Carter," Raven gritted through her teeth and then murmured, "Nevertheless, feed you to the Nightmare Beasts as their dinner."

But that didn't stop Naomi, "HIYA SPIRIT FIGHTERS! I'M NAOMI CARTER OF THE CLASS S NIGHTMARE HUNTERS!"

"NAOMI!!!!!!!" Everyone shouted.

"The ungrateful bitch…" Raven gritted between her teeth.

[Yusuke's Group]

"Is that just me or is that Naomi Carter girl too perky?" Yusuke said while sweat dropping.

"Yeah, but she's a total cutie…" Kuwabara sighed dreamily.

Kurama chuckled and Hiei grunted.

"Well at least she's showing her team spirit so that most likely means her team is like that." Botan exclaimed.

"It shows that she's a bubbly and stupid girl." Hiei said coldly.

The team just stood there, since they were having some second thoughts about this.

"We could just leave them there and make them look like the fools…" Hiei murmured.

"Hell no! There's a beautiful babe in that group and I ain't ditching any babe!" Yusuke shot back angrily.

"URAMESHI!" Kuwabara yelled.

"Yusuke, remember what Koenma told you-"

"Oh screw that what Koenma told me!" Yusuke said with an uncaring tone.

"Yusuke, she's a descendant from a LONG line of priestesses and priests. It wouldn't be right to say it to her, especially since she's becoming the next priestess of the Koizumi Clan." Kurama pointed out.

"Nevertheless that her older and twin brothers are in that group and WILL personally kill you for saying that." Botan added as she crossed her arms across her chest.

[Raven's Group]

"Why are those idiots just standing there!?" Akira said angrily.

"Maybe because they're shy and nervous?" Naomi suggested.

"The only reason I could see them nervous is that they would be nervous of us." Raven said coldly.

[Yusuke's Group]

"Okay, enough standing here! It's rude to keep a lady waiting!" Yusuke said and was referring "lady" to Arashi.

"Yusuke, please, control yourself when we go over there." Botan begged.

"You ain't the boss of me, Botan, so, just lay off!" Yusuke shot back while he walked over to the other group.

"Oh boy…"

[Raven's Group]

"They FINALLY decide to walk over to us!" Rei said loudly.

"And it took them 20 minutes to realize that, I call that pathetic." Arashi said quietly.

When Yusuke's group were 2 feet away from them, the trouble started…

"HEY LOSERS IT TOOK YOU 20 MINUTES TO REALIZE THAT WE DON'T BITE!" Akira shouted.

"Akira!" Arashi said sternly.

That immediately got the attention of Yusuke's group.

"Well, you seem to be the fools around here." Hiei said coldly.

Clayton growled, "What the fuck did you just call us, you bastard?"

"Hey, you should treat with respect 'cause we're Spirit Fighters." Kuwabara said proudly.

"Hell no! We're CLASS S Nightmare Hunters and you're CLASS A Spirit Fighters! YOU GUYS gotta treat us with RESPECT!" Rei shrieked.

"It seems that none of you have respect for each other." Arashi said quietly.

"Hey there, babe, I'm Yusuke Urameshi, one of the best Spirit Fighters." Yusuke said coolly as he leaned on Arashi's shoulder.

That immediately got Toshihiko's and Akira's attention, "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL OUR SISTER?!"

Botan's eyes widened, "YUSUKE!"

"URAMESHI!" Kuwabara shouted.

Akira cracked his knuckles and Toshihiko had an aura around him.

"NO GUY, NOT EVEN CLAYTON, CALLS MY LITTLE SISTER A BABE AND LIVES TO TELL!" Akira said angrily.

"Thank you for adding me in that speech of yours, Akira." Clayton said dully.

Toshihiko chanted a prayer and then a spiritual dragon came out of Toshihiko's aura, "ATTACK NOW, DRAGON OF THE KOIZUMI CLAN!"

"TOSHIHIKO!" Kyoko said angrily.

"ALRIGHT! WAY TO GO, LOVE!" Rei shouted happily.

"Excuse me a minute, babe, I got take care of some things," Yusuke then turned to face the attack speeding towards him, "SPIRIT GUN!"

His spirit gun and Toshihiko's spiritual dragon collided against each other.

"Naomi, you could have told us that Toshihiko's attack and that guy's attack were going to collide! You're clairvoyant for god damn sakes!" Akira said angrily.

"I'm sorry, I thought it wouldn't be helpful!" Naomi said sadly.

"Y'know, you shouldn't pick on a cutie like that." Kuwabara said distantly.

"Oh, and I suppose you could HAVE kept that loud mouth friend of yours from calling my sister a babe!" Akira shot back.

"Urameshi can be like THAT sometimes but he can also act cool and all that other shity crap!" Kuwabara said furiously.

"Well, he can act like if wants with the other girls, but he can NOT SAY THAT TO MY LITTLE SISTER!"

"Stop it you two, please!" Kyoko begged as she stood between the two.

"If you would to be SO kind, Kyoko, I suggest you step out of this before this gets ugly." Akira said crossly.

"Don't speak to a woman like THAT!" Kuwabara said irately.

"You're starting to bug me, y'know, with your glares and all." Clayton murmured to Hiei.

"You're already a pain in the ass to me…" Hiei said coldly.

Everyone bickered, fought, and insulted each other and Raven wasn't happy about this.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY, YOU FOOLS!" Raven screamed at the top of her lungs.

That got EVERYONE'S attention and gulped especially Yusuke's group.

"Stop your bickering and shut the fuck up. Save the freakin' introductions for later and walk, ALL OF YOU." Raven said coldly.

Everyone nodded (even HIEI) and walked slowly behind her.

It was going to be a long day…
