Its been a few months about two sents yusuke moved into a new apartment and he's been good. He has friends
Who care about him. And share the same things as he does. Besides that Hiei and Yusuke feelings have been getting deeper for each other every day. Now it is a matter of time before one of them cracks and tells the other how they feel.

After school Yusuke meet up with Kurama , Kuwabara and Touya. They went to kurama's house to play some video games like gublin city , Street fighter etc. After a while they decided to go to a near by blockbuster and rent video's. Kurama grabbed Juvenile Orion , Yuuske rented Nightwalker , Touya rennted rayearth. Kuwabara was looking for fatal fury and couldnt find it. He was about to give up till he spotted it on the bottom of the shelf. While going down to get it he saw Hiei grabbing the same thing.

" Sents when do you like movies you punk" Yelled Kuwabara.

" All the time you clown duck go qauck some where else who needs your assistance." responded Hiei.
" Besides there is another copy right there."

" Why you imputent little...." Kuwabara was yelling but stopped when the others arrived.

" Why are you screaming." asked Touya in a piss off mood from rude service.

" Ask him he was the one who..." Kuwabara shuts up when Yusuke went red.

" Enough Kuwabara." he said as nicely as he could.

Kuwabara bit his tongue something was going on between those two and he couldnt figure out what.

After a few moments Touya shruded his shoulder and said " lets go" and they left to have Kuwabara pay for his rent. Kurama went to Hiei as he gathered other movies.

" Hiei why do you do that to him." asked Kurama.

"Maybe its becuase he always assume aliot of things like there was only one copy and insultsme when he sees me. I dont put up with it. Beside's he is a moron making a BiG deal out of a stupid movie." He grinned his teeth and smashed his hands togethier. Kurama puts his hand on His shoulder to see if he will calm down Hiei didnt and snapped at him " get your hands off me." Kurama removed his hand and Hiei grabbed the other movies and payed for them then responded i know my rights."

Kurama sighed and then Yusuke came over Hiei calmed down a little.

" Bye Kurama , Yusuke." said Hiei and he walked off.

" Ha" Yusuke was alittle shocked. " why did he say good bye to me."

" I dont know thats the first time i ever see him like that." said The red head with a sigh they left and walked to Kurama's house. Hiei on the other hand got home soon. He locked the door. he took off his shoes and went straight to his room. He turns on the computer and signs on. He checks his email.

He has hundreds of emails from people who like his work. His poems and the games he recommended. Kuwabara plays games that he has recomended. " What would he do if he found out i told him to play final fantsay." He sighed and saw Yukina and Kurama were online and they talked. a few hours went by when he heard the door slm shut. He signed off and went to go and see his father.

" I'm Home" called a tall man.

Hiei was soon in front of him luckily the computer is off to because if he didnt go to his father it wouldnt be pretty.
He noticed the smelll of alchohol in his breath he was drunk.

" Aren't you going to say Hi" said His father.

" Hi" Hiei said in regrit.

" I lost my job cause of you are you happy." asked his father. " Now we can be a big happy family."

" But it......." He bite his lip and didnt say anything to him then he spoke " Im going to bed."

Hiei turned and when he turned his father grabbed him and punched him.

" This is something you did its your fault now pay the piper." said His father.

Hiei shuts his eyes as his father beats him and startes tearing his cloths to do what he like to do.
Hiei saw this and he ran out the door. He stop to catch his breath then walked lipping .

It was getting late and Yusuke been at Kurama's for a while. He leaves his house with the others who went seperate ways home at the corner. As Yusuke walks home and turned at a corner. Someone bumps into him and then the person falls. Yusuke stopped and looked. Who would dare? When he turned fully he saw Hiei who got back up quickly and stared to lip again. Yuuske freaked out and grabbed his hand and he wouldnt let go.

" Hiei what happen." asked Yusuke.

" None of your business." said Hiei trying to brake free of his grip.

" But Hiei...." Yusuke was shocked by this Hiei was beaten up on his face there were blue and black brusises and on his stomach he saw it becuase his shirt was torn. Some of his pants was to. Then he sa his arm it was missed up then anything else. Yusuke swallowed hard and spoke " Who did this to you?"

Hiei lokked into his eyes abd saw concern for him. He Knew it but he couldnt trust it so tries to back him off.

" I dont need your pity." said Hiei lokking down. " Let me go ...... let me go...... not again please." He said Quietly.

Yusuke wouldn't let him go he brought him closer to him and spoke as a tear escpaed his eye.

" I'll take you home with me i'll clean you up." Said Yusuke. Hiei couldnt answer as Yusuke helped him to his place wether or not he said yes or no.

When they arrived at Yusuke apartment they went into his room. Hiei sat on his bed and started to clean up his wounds and bandage his arm.

" Hiei who did this to you." asked Yusuke with cincern eyes.

" Hn" came out of Hiei mouth as he finished his arm.

Yusuke grew little tired of this " Please telll me i want to be your friend."

Hiei didnt say anything " Hn."

Yusuke reached the end of his rope and screamed " Fine be like that sorry i care about you.......stay here till your strong enough to walk."

As Yusuke gets up to leave Hiei realize what he did and grabs his hand and stopped him.

"Dont go........" a long silence filled the room Yusuke did not inspect this. He sat back down and Hiei wouldnt let go of his hand. " Stay here with me please"

Yusuke looked straight into his eyes. His red red eyes that is filled with a sad story and sorrow.
He leaned into Yusuke and rested on his shoulder Yusuke spoke again calmly. " What happen Hiei?"

He paused then spoke. " My father came home..... and blamed me for his job lost again........then beats me and gave me the brusises that you saw." He paused Yuuske eyes widen ( This is something very similair to my situation.) " He always does this and was drunk......" He baired his face into Yusuke shoulder. " He almost...." He llowed a tear to escaped from his eyes and Yusuke under stood.

" That basterd how could he." Yusuke was pissed. But he got over it as he look at Hiei in concern as he got closer to him and wrapped his arms around Hiei.

" Im sorry." said Hiei

" Sorry for what?"Asked Yusuke

" For being rude to you i shouldnt have done that . You deserve alot better maybe i ...should.." Hiei stopped talking as Yusuke held onto him tightly.

" No dont be sorry you were protecting yourself." Yusuke said.

Hiei blushed as they stayed like that for a while. " tell him" his consience said.


Hiei spoke again this time softly. " Yusuke i have something.... to tell you."

" What" asked Yusuke.

Hiei took a deep breath then spoke " I 've been meaning to say this sents i saw you for the first time...Its not easy for me to say but I...He stoppped when Yusuke knew what he was going to say and slowly went to his lips and kissed him soflty and tasted his lip Hiei was shocked but didnt complain as he deepen it they fought a little . Hiei puts up a fight but Yusuke over came him. As he deepen it one last time then broke apart.

" I love you" said Hiei.

" I do to i know we known each other for three months but that doesn't change how i feel about you and......im glade you told me" Said Yusuke Hiei kissed him again.

He laid him down and went on top of him Hiei wrapped his legs around as they made out till they stopped again.

" Lets stop before we do something we regrit later." said Yusuke Hiei agreed but stayed the way he was with him and kissed him once again.

" Yusuke ?" said Hiei.

"Yes."

" How come you knew how i feel? Did you ..." Hiei broke off and knew he was right. " You have."

" Yeah that is why we moved for a happier life and a chance to start over." Said Yusuke. " Thats why i understand what you went threw getting hit on for no reason . In cluding almost getting raped."

Hiei nodded and hugged him and never will let him go. " If i can take away the pain i do it i will protect him from that."

" Hiei I'll protect you no matter what," said Yusuke with a straight face.

Hiei nodded they both have alot of things in commin after a cuddleand romantic moment . Hiei felled asleep in his arms. Yusuke smiled and moved his bangs a little as he traced his star on his head then puts the blanket on them and tighten the embrace on Hiei. As Hiei did and then he muttered.

" I love you Hiei." Then he smiled and kissed him on the head and went to sleep.
