The demon landed with a loud "Ouch!" right onto the hard cement of the sidewalk below him. He was wildly sweating and looked like he had seen better days! His long dark tresses flowed wildly around the tall frame, he was breathing hard in and out.

So, the youkai thought, this was ningenkai. It didn't look as promising as he thought it would be. He was just at the age of his first hunger for human flesh, just as he was told when he was younger. For the standards of his kind, the dark demon was young. Too young to inherit the power he had been born with. The youngling was near s class and that alone was a wonder itself!

For more than a year now, the demon had felt his hunger growing inside, and with it came a strange side effect. He could sometimes swear he could feel another presence lingering around his soul! When he told his elder this, the older demon just told him he was imagining things. But Shura knew better, he was sure there was something his father did not tell him on purpose.

Now, eighteen years old, Shura found this morning a forgotten portal that let even his power class pass through! He had used it without thinking twice; even he did knew that the Reikei would hunt him down from now on.

The dreams had been so alluring, so tempting, he could not resist finding out if they where true! He had seen his silent goal only once. Kurama, his father's heir, had masked him as a human and took him secretly with him to the ningenkai with him for one day. There, Shura had meet the brother of the fox demon in human form. It was a meeting out of an accident; really! Kurama had originally planned to give the young demon child an outlook on the human race, to prevent Shura from eating humans later in his life. His brother came home earlier than planned and so, both met at his house accidentally.

The young demon child and the fourteen year old human teen had eyed each other curiously first but liked each other from the start. Kurama's brother was sensitive to feeling emotions from others, his onisan found out how sensitive he really was on this particular day! Suichi Hatanaka surprised him with the question if he could go with the demon to his school from now on, because Shuichi liked the, then shorter, younger demon much. His step-brother, getting over his first shock, told him a firm but friendly, no.

Since then, Shura had wanted to have the human back to play and laugh with him. The answer from his father was always the same, No! Now he had found the portal, now he could find the human and ask him what this school thing was he had talked about at the house. Shura was proud to know more than his father did, he learned faster than his father and had learned from Kurama many things. The young demon tried to learn anything he could. Even Mukuro told him that Shura was much wiser as his young age would let guess.

His hunger for human flesh had practically come overnight, he woke one morning and craved suddenly the taste of the mortals' life-force. Only his strangely arousing and comforting dreams each night prevented him from going out and eating a human. His father told him this often to do but he declined every time.

But his hunger grew stronger and power also grew, but mostly his strange wanting of the company of the human mortal brother of the Kitsune heir of his father, grew. He let his senses flare out to find the human and soon after they told him which direction to find Shura he was only a flash of black and brown. After his departure the streetlamp over the spot he appeared first began again to glow unsteadily.

Shuichi Hatanaka was just on his way to his apartment where the young man lived now, when suddenly a chilling feeling ran up and down the empath´s spine. He stopped his small car and sat inside of it for several seconds to sort out what the warning feeling could mean to him. Then he started the machine again and soon his car was parked in the normal spot and he, got out. Somehow the youth suddenly got the strange feeling to look back at his car! Why, Shuichi did not really know, but the feeling he had was strange enough and so he looked at his brave vehicle for long moments before he shook his head and went inside. Like he would never see it again!

Once inside, the human thought suddenly again about the strange dreams he had lately. They always centered on him and the demon child from that day so many years ago. Why, Shuichi did not know but they always ended strangely enough in an arousing scene that involved both of them in positions he really didn't want to think of too closely! Strangely enough, the child from then was always a grown man in his dreams! He even recognized the changed looks! Silently, Shuichi lay his hands in his lap hung his head; why was it always the demon and why did he always dream such...Things!?

Outside his apartment window sat Shura in the tree and watched Shuichi in silence. He could read every thought of the human psychic with ease, the ningen had grown allot. But so had he. It was only natural for them to grow into adults with time. Without another thought, the once demon child let his mind briefly touch the ningens before he took a deep gulp of air; would Shuichi let him inside of the house or not?

The ningen's head snapped upwards by the alien touch in his mind, wide eyed the human boy searched after the source of it. It was not unfriendly, more alluring and hopeful, a question from someone he yearned for and who seem to yearn for him. Without thinking twice, Shuichi bolted up to his window and opened it to look out in the night. A soft swirl of air was all the warning the human got before he was suddenly knocked down by the body of a full grown male demon.

And said demon had long black hair and three horns on his head!

Shuichi shook his head twice was that not the same face from his dreams?
Before he could voice out what he wanted to say, Shura suddenly bent his head down to him and kissed the slightly smaller male under him with a passion the human never had been kissed with before. The empath nearly forgot to breathe from all the chaotic emotions he felt through the contact: the demon was completely out of his control! He could easily feel that Shura needed the contact to ground his self again in reality. What had happened to the youkai?

When Shuichi suddenly opened his window, Shura lost it and simply knocked him over to get what he wanted. Suddenly, his hunger made sense to the demon, it was not only hunger for flesh or souls, it was also his first rut! A part of his demonic side was Gaki; these creatures eat everything, mostly humans, to satisfy its hunger after living souls and the life-force of them. His kind could satisfy it also in another way, in short, sex.

He just had to find himself a suitable human soul that could complete his own and had to mate it. As it seemed, Shuichi was this soul. His empathic abilities grounded his Gaki aspect inside of the demon to rest and Shura would be dammed before he would eat human flesh!

The slight arousal of the ningen did not go unnoticed by him. He made up his mind quickly and before Shuichi had the slightest chance to react; Shura kissed him and began to take what he needed.

Maybe this was why the fox and his own father had tried to prevent when they told them both to stay away from each other? Shura was not sure but he thought it could be. He could feel that the human slowly began to like what Shura did and so, the demon grew quickly bolder than before. His hands shredded the shirt of his captive with his claws, in his frantic rush to touch the ningen's body with them. Shura could hear the human pant and moan at this as he could also feel the ningen's arousal growing slowly. Suddenly, his own clothes seem to be in his way to feel the skin of his soon to be human lover.

Within seconds, the youkai had made short work with their clothes; they lay afterwards in shreds around their hot bodies. The first contact of their naked skin drew a moan out of them both. Shura could feel the ningen's hands glide sensually along the expanse of his torso, it brought out a feeling of pure bliss inside his mind and soul. His own mouth attached itself fast to one of the slightly darker colored nipples of Shuichi's chest and bit down on it carefully. He suckled on it a few times before his tongue lapped at it in his attempt to soothe the slightly rough sucks. Slowly, Shura let his tongue wander down more and more, until he reached his goal.

The dark haired demon beside the speaker nodded with closed eyes to show that he had listened to the silvery white haired Kitsune beside him. He was not so pleased at first when he found out what Kurama had in mind for the two. But now Yomi was glad that he had listened to the fox demon. He had been right with his musings about his son and the human brother of him: both did indeed complete the other!

Shura needed a human soul, bound to him as his mate, to prevent his inner beast from eating humans, and Shuichi in return, needed a mate who could take care of his growing powers as an empath and otherwise too. Both where highly sensitive and so, in the eyes of the two watchers, a perfect match for each other!

Now, his son had a mate to take care of and Shuichi would soon feel the first changes arrive, it was better to bring the two quickly to the Makai, before the soul world became aware of this and would react in order to protect the human from being taken to the demon realm forever.

Quickly, they scooped up each of the two younglings and disappeared into the darkness with them. They went back through the same portal they used to lure Shura through before to get the young youkai near to his to receiving mate to be. After the two powerful demons had went through it, it closed forever. Not even a slight sign told that they had ever been here.
