Chapter 25

[Outside of the Gates to the Urameshi Estate]

"Well we're here, this is Urameshi Estate, home of Rain." Kaya said cheerfully.

Yuki's jaw was opened and his eyes were wide, "My god...she's freakin' rich!! What do her parents do for a living!?"

Kaya giggled and then she pressed the intercom on the gates.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT!?!?" A familiar female voice screamed.

"It's I, Kamiya, "Sakura" and I brought a friend with me. His name is Yuki Tanaka and he's a "transfer student" to Midou High. Please "inform" everyone that we're having a guest and that "Shuuichi" and Rain will be home shortly."

"Alright, "Sakura", I'll go inform everyone! Just hold on a second."

[Inside the Urameshi Estate]

"EVERYONE, STOP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND LISTEN UP!!!" Ariel screeched.

"GET BACK HERE, KAI, YOU DESERVE THIS FOR TAKING MY OAR!!!" Kikyo screamed as she kept slashing her staff at Kai, hoping it would hit him.

"Give up, baka-Kikyo, y'know you can't hurt me." Kai said calmly as he kept ducking the attacks.

Ariel's eye twitched rapidly, "KAI, KIKYO STOP THIS FIGHTING OR ELSE YOU GUYS ARE SLEEPING IN THE SAME BEDROOM FOR A MONTH!!!"

Kikyo immediately stopped dead in her tracks and Kai's eyes widened, "HELL NO!!!"

"THEN SHUT UP!!" Ariel retorted.

"Okay now, has either of you seen Shun, Mayumi, Takuya, Hiei, Kuwabara, Yusuke, Kyo, Hiromi, Yukina, and Botan?" Ariel asked simply.

"Yukina is in the garden," Kikyo started.

"Hiei is training in the backyard," Kai said coldly.

"Botan is helping Mayumi with homework in the library," Kikyo exclaimed.

"Yusuke is sleeping in his room," Kai said darkly.

"Kuwabara is in the TV room," Kikyo chirped.

"Takuya is in the green house in the back," Kai said rolling his eyes.

"Hiromi is drawing in the drawing room," Kikyo pointed out.

"Shun is in the kitchen making a snack," Kai said dully.

"And Kyo is in the swimming pool downstairs." Kai and Kikyo said at the same time.

"Okay listen up, you two! Kai, get everyone who is downstairs and on the main level. Kikyo you go get everyone who is 2nd and 3rd floors and even check the 4th and 5th floor just make sure." Ariel demanded.

"What about you?" Kai and Kikyo asked as they raised their eyebrow.

"I'm gonna have to distract Kaya and her "friend" so MOVE IT PEOPLE!!!" With that, Kai ran off and Kikyo flew off.

The intercom button was heard again, "Kamiya, Yuki and I have been waiting for 10 minutes, can we please come in now?"

"Oh, sure, come in now!!" Ariel said quickly.

'Those two better hurry up and get everyone's asses here soon!' Ariel thought to herself.

[Walk-way to Urameshi Estate]

"Wow, this looks like Versailles in France!! Except it's in Japan." Yuki joked.

Kaya giggled, 'I really hope everyone was notified about someone coming over...'

After a few minutes walking, they reached the gigantic mansion with four white pillars holding everything up and two grand doors holding it.

The door opened and there stood Ariel, still in her school uniform, "Hey Sakura!"

As soon as Kaya and Yuki at the doorsteps, they began to introduce themselves.

"Hello Kamiya, Yuki, this Kamiya, Ariel, childhood friend of Rain's, and Kamiya, this is Tanaka, Yuki, the new student at my school who's in my class." Kaya said kindly.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you, Kamiya." Yuki said coolly.

"Hey, and I can see you already know not call me by my real name." Ariel said dully.

"Anyway, come in, there's a lot of other people in here you'll probably want to meet." Ariel said as the two walked in and then closed the doors.

[Inside]

"Everyone will be here shortly, they’re just busy..." Ariel said as her eye twitched rapidly.

'They better show up or else...'

Suddenly, everyone appeared, either sweating or panting for breath.

"Thank you, LORD...!" Ariel whispered.

"Okay, you guys know the drill, introduce yourselves!" Ariel exclaimed with a smirk on her face.

"Hi, I'm Ren Hiroshi, I'm 14 and I come from Kyoto and I met Rai-chan when she visited Kyoto to see her aunt and uncle!" Mayumi chirped.

"I'm Kazuya Yamazaki, a family friend to the Hiroshi family in Kyoto. I'm 18 years old and I also met Rai in Kyoto with Ren." Takuya said kindly.

"My name is Kikyo! A really close friend of Rai-chan and Ren-chan!" Kikyo exclaimed happily.

"Kai Ryuu. Acquaintance to Rain." Kai said darkly.

"Shun Yuki, age 14, and another good friend of Rain." Shun said happily.

"I'm Kyo," Kyo chirped, "And I'm Hiromi," Hiromi squealed in delight, "And together, we're Ariel's siblings!"

"Yusuke Urameshi, age 14, cousin to Rai, nice to meetcha Yuki." Yusuke winked.

"I'm Kazuma Kuwabara, but everyone calls me Kuwabara." Kuwabara said proudly.

"Hiei. Acquaintance to Yusuke and Rain." Hiei murmured.

"I'm Yukina, a friend of everyone here." Yukina smiled.

"And I'm Botan, friend of Yusuke's and Rai's!" Botan chirped.

"Oh hey everyone!" Rai said cheerfully as she opened the door with Kurama following behind her.

"Oh hello again, Yuki." Rai said happily.

"I must say Rain-san, your house is very interesting, and very fancy?" Yuki said while sweat dropping.

"Why thank you, Yuki, how nice of you to say so," Rai's eyes twinkled, "In fact, why don't you stay for dinner! And you'll be our guest, you and Sakura will have nothing to do at all, everyone will make dinner!"

There was a dead silence in the room. All the boys' (including Kai and Hiei) eyes widened and all the girls were pale and looked like they were about to faint.

"Oh really Rai, you shouldn't do that!" Kaya insisted.

"Really, it's fine, I'm sure we can handle it, right everyone?" Rai turned around and gave them an innocent but cheerfully smile.

"Y-Yes..." Everyone stammered and gulped.

"How are WE going to pull this off, Urameshi!?" Kuwabara exclaimed quietly to Yusuke.

"By praying." Yusuke gulped.

"None of us can cook! Especially Kai and Hiei, who I'm certain have never even heard of cooking books!" Botan murmured to Mayumi, Yukina and Kikyo.

"Yeah..." Mayumi and Kikyo said while sweat dropping while Yukina nodded her head in agreement.

"To the microwave!" Hiromi said as she gave the bingo sign.

"Baka, we can't just pop in instant Ramen Noodles and 5 minute instant rice!!" Ariel snapped.

"Then...to the oven!" Hiromi said as she gave a neko face.

Ariel bonked her on the head, "We don't know how to use the oven, baka, remember?"

Kyo just sweat dropped, "She's right about that..."

"Um, Kai, what ARE cook books?" Hiei asked, slightly blushing.

"I remember, I think, they're something that humans use to cook demons in it." Kai said, feeling stupid, since he didn’t know either.

Hiei's eyes widened, "N-Nani?"

"I don't know, Hiei! How would I know!! I mean, I know a few things that humans do because, my mother was human and...oh whatever, never mind." Kai said as he took a deep breath and was slightly blushing.

"Does making chocolate rice balls count as cooking?" Mayumi asked innocently to Takuya.

"Mayumi, what do YOU think?" Takuya said as he crossed his arms across his chest, and raised an eyebrow at her.

"No?" Mayumi sweat dropped.

"Well, while we cook dinner AND dessert, you guys just do whatever you want." With that, she dragged Yusuke with everyone following her in the kitchen.

[Kitchen]

"RAI, NONE OF US KNOW HOW TO COOK!!! HOW ARE WE GOING TO PULL THIS OFF!?!" Yusuke shouted in dismay.

"Don't worry, Yusuke, I know that, but we'll split up into groups, and I have recipes that are easy to follow and I'll come over and help all of you." She then pulled out a piece of paper.

"Group 1 will do the appetizers and that would be Shun, Botan, Yusuke, and Ariel. But you'll separate into two groups; Shun with Botan and Ariel with Yusuke."

Botan looked at Shun, who blushed pink, she then immediately turned away and blushed crimson across her face as well.

"WHAT!?!?! FUCK NO!!! I'M NOT WORKING WITH..." Ariel and Yusuke shouted as they pointed at each other.

"THAT FUCKED UP BITCH!!" Yusuke pointed out.

"THAT SCREWED UP BASTARD!!" Ariel finished.

Rai sweat dropped, "Moving on, Group 2 shall be doing the salads. That'll be Takuya, Kikyo, and Kai. It's the easiest course so don't make it harder than it looks."

Takuya gulped, while Kurama patted his back, "I wish you the best of luck, Takuya..."

"Thank you, I'm going to need it..." Takuya sighed loudly.

Kikyo glowered and Kai was continually snickering at Kikyo.

"Group 3 will be doing soup. That'll be Yukina, Kyo, and Kuwabara."

"Great...I'll have to put up with all the lovey dovey stuff that Kuwabara says." Kyo sighed loudly.

"Group 4, which is Mayumi and Hiromi, will be setting the table and will set the food out, use the best china, and decoration and will choose the outfits for what everyone will be wearing." Rai said as she went down the list.

"THAT'S NOT FAIR, THEY DON'T GET TO COOK, LIKE WE DO!!!" Kuwabara and Yusuke shouted.

"They're the only ones who can handle the china and choose the outfits without you guys having "accidents"." Rai said while winking; Yusuke and Kuwabara flushed.

"And finally Group 5 will consist of Kurama, Hiei, and myself which we will do the main course. Everyone, including Mayumi and Hiromi, will make the dessert." Rai said but then gasped slightly.

'Oh great! Being in the same group with those two, it'll be nothing but fighting over me. But I can't change the groups or else it'll screw up everything up.' Rai thought.

Kurama's and Hiei's heartbeat went so fast, that they were so close from popping out of their chests.

"Okay, everyone, let's start cooking!" Rai said happily.

[Group 1 & Group 2]

"Back on the rocks, back on the rocks baby, you keep your mind together, back on the rocks, back on the rocks baby, you gotta go and live forever!" Yusuke sang as he worked.

"Shut up, Yusuke!" Ariel retorted as she pounded the dough harder and harder when Yusuke wouldn’t listen.

"He isn't very good if I may say so myself..." Shun chuckled but didn't notice as he was kneading the dough, he reached over to put more flour in it, he grabbed Botan's hand.

Shun immediately jolted his hand back and blushed furiously, "Sorry, Botan." He then continued to knead the dough, still blushing, but Botan stared at Shun affectionately and smiled at him.

"YUSUKE SHUT UP OVER THERE!!" Kai retorted as he slammed the knife into the cucumbers.

"Well at least he's not butchering the vegetable to DEATH, Kai!" Kikyo screeched.

"For fucking god's sakes, Kikyo, vegetables DON'T have FUCKING feelings!" Kai said angrily as he slammed the knife a second time it broke the cutting board.

"Now look what you did, you bastard! You broke the cutting board!" Kikyo screeched.

"Back on the rocks, back on the rocks baby, you keep your mind together, back on the rocks, back on the rocks baby, you gotta go and live forever!" Yusuke sang louder as he danced to it.

"SHUT UP, YUSUKE!" Ariel screeched as she threw flour at him.

"Hey, what's YOUR problem, Kamiya!?" Yusuke snapped.

"Whatever, you are SO hopeless." Ariel snorted while Takuya sweat-dropped.

[Group 2 and 5]

"Really, Rai, why DID you have to pair me with Yukina and Kuwabara? It's...really...sickening to hear and watch..." Kyo whimpered as he chopped up the potatoes that were going to go into the cold Gaspachio.

"It's not that bad, Kyo, you'll get by it." Rai smiled as she was making the rice.

"Hey, um, Rai, I was wondering...if you would like to go-" Kyo was then cut off when he was body slammed to the ground.

"Argh...what the hell..." He looked up and smirked, "What the HELL is YOUR problem, Hiei?"

Hiei smirked back, "Nothing, I just don’t like it when guys ask Rai certain questions."

"Hiei, really, all was he going to ask me was would he like to take me somewhere as a friend! Really, Hiei, you mustn't assume things, sometimes you can act like YUSUKE!" Rai said as she clenched her fists.

"Let me help you up, Kyo." Kurama replied as he helped Kyo to his feet.

"Thanks Kurama, at least SOMEONE has respect for other people." Kyo snarled at Hiei.

"All right, let's stop fighting and get working on dinner." Rai said.

[Mayumi's Bedroom]

"Which would look better: A marvelous sparkling black halter-top dress or an absolute stunning violet blue V cut ball gown?" Mayumi asked she held up two dresses to Hiromi.

"For who, Ariel?" Hiromi asked in amazement.

"Yeah, who do you think?" Mayumi pouted.

"On a regularly daily basis, I would choose the most none-embarrassing outfit for her but today since we have a guest, I want to embarrass her even more. The violet blue ball gown." Hiromi squealed as she stuck out her tongue in the cute way.

"Okay, who's next?" Mayumi asked as she threw the dress onto her bed with other gowns as well as tuxedoes.

"Hiei. Y'know he's going to be the hardest..." Hiromi sweat dropped.

Mayumi then pulled out a black tuxedo, the ENTIRE suit was black, not a hint of white, "Already got that covered. Next?"

[Group 5]

"Don't use pancetta, Hiei! That's for making it the Italian way!" Kurama exclaimed.

"And what way are we making this..." Hiei asked while raising an eyebrow.

"The American way!" Kurama cried out.

"But you're not American...you're Japanese." Hiei said while rolling his eyes.

"Does it MATTER if I'm Japanese and we're making standing rib roast the American way and not the Italian way!?" Kurama asked loudly.

"Not really." Hiei shrugged off.

"EXACTLY!!!" Kurama shouted out.

Hiei rolled his eyes, 'Why did Rai have to go help Shun and Botan with making the fried Calamari? I mean, how long does she take to teach those idiots how to make fried squid!?'

'Hiei can be so naïve and clueless at some points...' Kurama sighed loudly as he put the finished standing rib roast in the oven.

"Okay, I'm back and how is the standing rib roast coming along?" Rai asked as she walked up to Hiei and Kurama.

"Asides from turning this standing rib roast Italian, American, and hard to believe, the Japanese way, everything has been quite all right, Rai." Kurama said as he slightly blushed.

"I don't see why there are two ways to make this stupid standing rib roast..." Hiei murmured to himself.

Rai giggled, "Well, while the standing rib roast is cooking, we'll start making poached salmon."

"Here." Hiei said dully as he threw down a package of tin foil onto the counter.

"Oh, you got the salmon ready." Rai said happily.

"Yeah..." Hiei would have flirted with Rai tremendously but since Kurama was there, he acted like himself.

"Oh, well, I'll just put it in the oven." Rai then took the "salmon" and popped it into the oven.

"Now, moving onto the roast chicken with Rosemary..." Rai said merrily.

[Group 2]

"You do NOT put nuts in a mixed green salad!" Kai yelled angrily at Kikyo.

"Yes you do, stupid!" Kikyo retorted.

"You put NUTS in a greens and walnuts salad, NOT a MIXED green salad!" Kai shouted.

"No, you put NUTS in a mixed green salad!" Kikyo shot back.

"Kikyo, my MOTHER made a mixed green salad and it had NO nuts whatsoever in it! She then made ANOTHER kind of salad that was called "greens and walnuts salad" THAT has nuts in it!" Kai said calmly but glaring at Kikyo.

"Well, it just so happens that when my MOTHER made a mixed green salad she put NUTS in it!" Kikyo said proudly.

"Baka, that's called a GREENS AND WALNUTS SALAD, NOT A MIXED SALAD!" Kai hollered.

"Look, you two, Kai is right; a salad with nuts is called a "Greens & Walnuts" salad. A mixed salad is a mixture of greens. Now you two stop fighting and we can continue to make a "Mixed Green Salad"." Takuya said calmly.

Kai gave Kikyo a smirk but Kikyo just glowered and then continued their work.

[Group 1]

"We're making WHAT again?" Ariel and Yusuke asked in disbelief, then realized they both asked the same question, snarled at each other and then immediately faced their backs to one another.

"Asides from making the bread and fried Calamari and serving cheese and crackers, crackers with pepperoni, buffalo wings, we're serving pate." Shun said.

"What the hell is pate?!" Ariel asked confusedly.

"Pate is compressed chopped meat." Shun said plainly.

"God dammit, why do freakin' rich people make freakin' fancy names for simple things like compressed chopped meat?!" Yusuke exclaimed angrily.

"Because they can..." Ariel mumbled.

Yusuke smirked, "Shut up, Kamiya."

"Whatever, Yusuke." Ariel said dully as she rolled her eyes.

"Why don't you just lighten up and call it truths, already!?" Botan exclaimed.

"HELL NO!" Ariel and Yusuke shouted.

"Or just start making the pate." Shun said while sweat dropping.

"Whatever." Yusuke and Ariel said plainly as they rolled their eyes.

"They were meant to be for each other." Botan whispered to Shun.

"You're sure right about that, Botan." Shun whispered back.

[Group 3]

"Oh Yukina, you shouldn't chop those potatoes with such delicate hands of yours! Here, let ME do it my love." Kuwabara said dreamily as he took the knife from her hands.

"Why thank you, Kuwabara, how nice of you!" Yukina said happily.

"God help me..." Kyo murmured as he continued to chop the other potatoes.

'I hope things are going better at your end, Ariel, Hiromi...' Kyo thought as he kept doing his job.

"Ugh...I think I'm going to be sick..." Kyo grumbled as he kept hearing Kuwabara go on and on with mushy love stuff.

[Living Room]

"You have another brother?" Yuki asked in amazement.

"Yes, I do, his name Shunichi and he's in his last year of college in America." Kaya smiled, even though she was lying.

The two of them, were sitting in the living room, with Hiromi and Mayumi serving tea with honey and sugar.

"Here you go, Mr. Tanaka." Hiromi said happily as she handed him a cup of warm tea.

"Thank you, Hiromi-san." Yuki said kindly as he took the tea.

"Here you go, Ms. Kaya." Mayumi chirped.

"Arigato, Ren-san." Kaya smiled kindly as she took the tea from Mayumi.

"Dinner will be served very shor-" Mayumi was cut off from a loud explosion from the kitchen.

"What the heck is going on in there!?" Hiromi screamed.

'Please may nothing THAT bad happened...like the pouched salmon exploding...' Mayumi thought while sweat dropping.

[Kitchen]

"FLYING ICE CREAM!!!! DUCK!! " Kikyo screamed as she ducked.

Seconds later, most of the kitchen was covered in chocolate ice cream, including everyone else too.

"WHO THE HELL PUT ICE CREAM IN THE FREAKIN' OVEN!?" Ariel screamed as she jolted up from hiding underneath the counter.

"WHAT AN IDIOT TO PUT ICE CREAM IN THE OVEN!!! WHOEVER DID THAT, I'M GOING MURDER THEM!!!" Yusuke shouted angrily as he cracked his knuckles.

"I-I don't understand...I thought it was pouched salmon I put in the oven...not chocolate ice cream!" Rai cried. She looked deeply saddened by the fact of by accidently putting ice cream than the pouched salmon.

Kurama's eyes soften on Rai and then immediately sent a glare at Hiei, he clenched his fists and stormed over to Hiei.

"Hiei, you idiot, why did YOU give Rai, CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM instead of the POUCHED SALMON?!" Kurama asked angrily.

"What do you MEAN, fox?" Hiei asked dully and bitterly.

"I said..."

"Kurama, it isn't Hiei's fault, really it isn't," Rai said soothingly, she turned to face Hiei, "Hiei, it's alright that you by accident gave me ice cream instead of pouched salmon, I'll go calm everyone down, so don't worry about it." She smiled at him reassuringly and walked off to where Yusuke and everyone else were.

Hiei was in a total bliss, his eyes now pink hearts, and his heart pounding, "Rai..." He said dreamily.

Kurama rolled his eyes, 'He looks like a real idiot when he does that...'

[Later]

After two hours of cooking in madness, everything was ready. The table was set, the appetizers were out, all except was the people who were to be there, were not dressed.

[Yusuke's Room]

"I can't believe we gotta dress up, thanks a lot Kurama, it's cause of YOUR sister that we had to spend our ENTIRE afternoon in the kitchen with exploding chocolate ice cream and the American, Italian, and even the Japanese way to making standing rib roast and other shit!" Yusuke said angrily as he fixed his red rose on his tuxedo.

"I can't help it if Kaya invited him over, I didn't even know he was planning to stay for dinner!" Kurama exclaimed as he combed his hair; he was already in his black tuxedo with a red tie and red rose.

"Oh please you two, stop acting like children and grow up." Takuya sighed as he was fixing his red rose. He wore what Yusuke was wearing except he was wearing a red tie like Kurama.

"Oh don't bother with them, Takuya, they're hopeless." Kyo joked as he was combing his hair. He wore the same tuxedo like everyone else except his tie was blue.

"It's YOUR cousin's fault, Urameshi, not Kurama's or Kaya's fault, so stop blaming Kurama for that!" Kuwabara shot back as he fixed his tie.

Yusuke sent him a death glare, Hiei narrowed his eyes at him, and Kurama glared angrily at him (which Kuwabara didn't notice, he only noticed Hiei's and Yusuke's glare).

"Uh, never mind what I said, it's all Kurama's fault." Kuwabara said quickly.

Kurama sighed, Kuwabara nudged him, "Sorry about that, Kurama, I just don't want my ass kicked by Urameshi."

Kurama sweat dropped, "It's fine, Kuwabara."

Hiei was looking out the window, in his entirely black tuxedo, with a white rose on it too.

"I sense some kind of powers from that Yuki Tanaka." Kai said quietly to Hiei; he too was in an entirely black tuxedo, except with a red rose instead of a white rose.

"Hn, why did you think that, Kai?" Hiei asked with a smirk.

"I got a strange but powerful aura from Yuki Tanaka, it was a good aura, and if I'm correct, his power is water." Kai said as he looked out at the glistening moon.

Hiei gave Kai another smirk, "Sounds intriguing, Kai. Maybe, he's trying to get close to Kurama's sister, Kaya. You know who Kurama's sister is, right?"

Kai slightly jeered, "Of course, I do. She's Kaya Katanya, the granddaughter of Kaya Katanya, the tennyo that slaughtered all the Arjunas. She's heir to the throne of being Queen of all the Tennyo of the Heavens. Her older brother, Lynx of Oracle, is heir to throne of becoming King of the Heavens."

Hiei gave him a cold smile, "Seems like you know your history, Kai."

Kai gave Hiei a smirk back, "Indeed I do, Hiei."

"So you're talking about Kaya Katanya, are you?" Shun asked with a smile on his face. He wore his hair in his usual hairstyle, a black tuxedo with a green tie, and red rose.

"You would of course know who Kaya Katanya is and Kurama's sister is, Shun." Kai said coldly.

Shun continued smiling at them, "Of course I would, anyway," He grabbed both Hiei's and Kai's arms, "Yusuke asked me to get you two, since him, Kuwabara, Takuya, Kurama, and Kyo are done and waiting for you two blabber mouths to stop talking and get out of the room!"

"C'mon, Hiei, Kai, we've been waiting for you two forever, so let's get going!" Yusuke shouted from the hallway.

With that, Shun, Kai, and Hiei walked out of Yusuke's room and into the hallway and downstairs.

[Rai's Room]

"Hold still, Ariel, I'm trying to comb your hair and with you moving all over the place, it's kind of hard to do so." Rai giggled as she continued to brush Ariel's raven black hair.

Rai wore a tight halter-top dress that was white with purple sparkles on it, with a slit in front of the dress that showed her beautiful legs and white high heel shoes. She still wore that black choker necklace with the blue diamond on it with pearl earrings. Her brown hair was in a bun with two bangles of her brown hair hanging down. She wore pink lipstick with pink blush.

"I hate you, SO much, Hiromi..." Ariel said angrily as her eye twitched rapidly. She wore the violet blue V cut ball gown with violet blue slippers and a pearl necklace borrowed from Rai.

Hiromi giggled, she wore pink tank top dress, with a pink sash, pink high heel shoes with little roses on them, and with a pink shawl, "It'll impress Yusuke!"

Ariel blushed madly, "SHUT UP, HIROMI!"

"Oh really, Kamiya, we ALL know you love Yusuke so just admit it, already!" Botan said as she was fixing up Kikyo's hair. Botan wore a purple dress that had long sleeves, a white sash, and the bottom was puffy. She also wore white silk gloves and white ankle boots. Her light blue hair was in her usual ponytail.

"Yeah, that is SO true and you know it, Kamiya!" Kikyo giggled. She wore a yellow V cut ball gown with yellow slippers and a gold necklace. Botan was curling Kikyo's hair.

"I think it's sweet that Kamiya is in love with Yusuke." Yukina smiled happily as she put her hands together. Yukina wore what she usually wore but it was pink and white.

"Kamiya and Yusuke sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Mayumi mocked happily as she stuck out her tongue. She wore a flower-printed dress that was white, yellow, and pink, white gloves, and white sandals.

Ariel's eyes kept twitching and she clenched her fist tightly, "Shut up you guys..."

"Please stop teasing Kamiya at once. If she says she doesn't like Yusuke then she doesn't. So please behave like young ladies, not like immature girls." Kaya said sternly. Her red hair was in the same hairstyle as Rai's and her earrings were rubies and pearls and a pearl necklace. She wore a similar dress to Rai's except it was entirely red and it showed her lower thighs and red high heel shoes with little red roses on it.

"Yes, Kaya." Mayumi, Kikyo, and Hiromi said in disappointment.

"We're sorry too, Kaya-san." Yukina apologized with Botan nodding too.

Kaya smiled back, "It's alright, Yukina, Botan."

Ariel then let out a big sigh of relief, "I praise you, Kaya."

Kaya giggled, "It's quite all right, Kamiya, no need to thank me."

"All right, is everyone ready to go?" Kaya asked politely.

"Yes!" The girls squealed in delight.

Kaya smiled gently at them, "Great, now let's get going."

[Dining Room]

After a little bit of yelling and screaming of seating arrangements, everything turned out all right.

Rai sat at the head of the table, with Yusuke on her left and Ariel on her right. Next to Ariel was Hiei (both to their dismay) and next Hiei was Kai (which was all right to both of them, since both of them, were "friends"). On Kai's right side was Kuwabara, (in which Kai hated and Kuwabara felt that he would massacre him if he picked up the wrong fork.) On Kuwabara's other side was Kikyo, which wasn't so bad after all. Kikyo also sat next to Yuki that didn't bug Kikyo or Yuki at all since they were nice to each other. Mayumi, Yukina, and Kyo were in the following seating. On the other side of the table were Hiromi, Kaya, Botan, Kurama, Takuya, and Shun. Kaya was right across from Yuki, in which they were gazing at each other in loving ways.

::He is just so sick...Looking at Kaya that way with those eyes of his. I HOPE YOU DIE, YUKI TANAKA AND IF YOU DON'T I SHALL KILL YOU MYSELF!:: Yoko shouted angrily.

/Oh look, there's Rai./ Kurama said dully.

::WHERE?!:: Yoko asked eagerly.

Kurama let out a sigh, 'What did I do to deserve this?'

::Woah...Rai is looking extra hot today...She's got nice legs, so soft, so smooth, and wow, beautiful br-::

/OKAY, THAT IS ENOUGH, YOKO!!!/ Kurama shouted angrily.

Yoko blinked, then grumbled, ::Alright, Shuuichi, I'll behave tonight, only because you and everyone else worked so hard on this dinner and nobody wants it to go up in smoke.::

Kurama sighed in relief, /Thank you, Yoko./

::You're welcome, Shuuichi.:: Yoko grumbled.

"Well, after a long day, dinner is finally served!" Rai said happily as the servants of the Urameshi Estate came out, bringing all the food and setting it on the table.

Everyone who cooked the dinner looked at it and gulped while Kaya and Yuki were dazzled by it.

"My, it looks so good to eat! I bet it tastes delicious, don't you think so, Shuuichi?" Kaya smiled as she looked at her brother lovingly.

"Um, yes, Sakura, it looks good enough to eat as many servings as you want!" Kurama said while sweat dropping furiously while laughing nervously as well.

"I may say, Shuuichi, you must be really good at cooking since this looks like a professional's work!" Yuki exclaimed.

"W-Well...I mean everyone did their part, under Rai's directions, she's the one to be thanked as well." Kurama said while blushing madly.

A streak of pink came across Rai's face, and then Kurama smiled at her more, making more shades of pink come across her beautiful face.

"Rai, did you ever take any cooking lessons?" Yuki asked kindly.

"My mother was a great cook but she didn't do cooking for a living and I learned from her." Rai said compassionately.

"Enough of the talking, let’s start eating." Yuki said as he cut himself a piece of the standing rib roast, took some friend Calamari, pate, pouched salmon, roast chicken with rosemary, a greens and walnuts salad, and Italian white bean soup.

Everyone else gulped and took some of the food onto their plate too.

'I'm not touching that food until Yuki or Kaya eats it first.' Ariel thought.

'Man, I hope they're happy that we cooked for them! I worked my fucking ass off for this stupid dinner and they better eat it!' Yusuke thought bitterly.

'Even if tastes disgusting, I'll eat it all, for everyone's sake.' Shun reflected.

'I really hope there isn’t any demon meat in this food...' Kai thought worriedly.

'The food may look good, but it must taste nasty!' Mayumi thought as she shivered.

'Maybe looks can be deceiving and the food is actual good.' Botan thought.

'I still think a mixed green salad has nuts in it.' Kikyo thought angrily.

'I wonder if it's not too late to order in pizzas...' Hiromi thought.

'Anything would be better than our cooking, like those nasty snails the French people eat.' Kyo thought.

'Seems like this dinner will be calm and happy with no troubles at all.' Yukina thought happily.

'Man, I rather fight the Akuma Masters than eat this food!' Kuwabara thought.

'I hate fancy dinners, because everyone has to dress up and stuff. Why couldn't we just order in a fancy dinner than making one?' Takuya thought as he sighed mentally.

'Everyone seems so quiet. I wonder why.' Kaya thought to herself as she looked at everyone.

'I wonder if all the dinners here are like this...' Yuki thought.

'I really hope everything goes well...' Rai thought nervously.

'Rai looks really beautiful tonight, but yet again, she always looks beautiful. I hope Rai was right that whole chocolate ice cream incident didn't ruin anything. Wait, WHY I AM STARTING TO ACT LIKE KURAMA!?' Hiei thought confusedly.

'Yoko better keep his promise or else Kaya will have the "Talk" with him.' Kurama thought while sweat dropping.

"Well, let's eat!" Yuki smiled as he lifted up his fork and put a piece of standing rib roast into his mouth.

Everyone was sweating like hell and fiddling with their napkins and looking at the ground.

After a moment of silence, Yuki spoke, "This food is delicious!"

With that, everyone except Rai, Yuki, and Kaya did an anime fall.

Yuki blinked, "Was it something I said?"

"H-He likes it...wow..." Ariel said still in a daze.

"Dare we eat it?" Kurama asked still in a daze as well.

"Yes." Everyone else replied still in a daze.

"Mmmmm, you are right, Yuki, the food is delicious!" Kaya said happily as she continued to eat the food on her plate.

Ariel slowly picked up her fork, and placed it into the standing rib roast and slowly put it into her mouth.

After moment of chewing, she exclaimed, "THIS FOOD IS GREAT! DIG IN YOU GUYS!!"

Immediately, everyone started to eat like barbarians with food flying all over the place and Kaya and Yuki sweat-dropped furiously.

Rai sank into her chair, embarrassed from how everyone was eating, 'Why did Ariel had to say the food was good like THAT...'

"Hey don't take the last of the fried Calamari, Yusuke!" Ariel groaned as he snatched the last of the friend Calamari out of Ariel's grasp.

"Hahaha! I can do as I please, Kamiya!" Yusuke said as he stuck up the middle finger at her.

"Argh...YUSUKE!!!!!!!" Ariel roared.

"Yummy, what is this food?" Mayumi asked as she ate the pouched salmon.

"It's pouched salmon, Mayumi." Shun said sweetly.

Mayumi's eyes went wide and immediately spitted out the salmon all over Shun's face, "SALMON!? I HATE SALMON!!!"

"So I've noticed..." Shun said while sweat dropping and wiping the chewed salmon off his face.

Rai then stood up from her seat, "Everyone PLEASE stop acting like barbarians and eat your food like regular human beings!"

At once, Yusuke stopped dead in his tracks for he was about to spill all the Gaspachio soup on Ariel.

Everyone immediately started to clean their faces with their napkins and sat down in the polite manner and ate in silence.

Rai smiled in relief, "Good."

"Anyway, Rain-san, what school do you go to?" Yuki asked nicely.

"I go to Katsuyuki Academy, the main academy owned by Mr. Katsuyuki. The other two academies owned by him are Matsudai Toushi, the all boys academy and Kistune Academy, the all girls academy. I use to go the Kistune Academy but my father then switched me to Katsuyuki." Rai said happily.

"I see. Do you have any siblings, Rain-san?" Yuki asked as he took a sip of his drink then ate some of the Gaspachio soup.

"Yes, I do. My little brother Narutaki, he's 9 years old but right now he's living in Sendai with my aunt and uncle." Rai said as she tasted some of the chicken with rosemary.

"Interesting, what do your parents do for a living?" Yuki asked kindly.

"Well, my father, Shintaro Urameshi is-"

"Ah, yes, I do remember you telling me that before." Yuki said happily.

"Me too." Rai said gladly.

"I can see why you have such an elegant house and so many servants, and so many guest rooms and other kinds of rooms. I mean, you're the daughter to the well known and richest and famous CEO of Japan, and maybe North America." Yuki complimented.

"My father is known internationally, through out the entire world, Yuki-san." Rai said simply as she cut her pouched salmon.

"Even more intriguing. Rain-san, I must say, for being a daughter of a successful, rich, and famous CEO you're polite, mature, kind, sweet, smart, and not spoiled. To anyone it looks like you come from a middle-class family, not a upper class family." Yuki said while grinning.

"Thank you, Yuki-san, my father never spoiled Narutaki and I. He brought us up well." Rai lied, and feeling a little nervous.

"I assume your father is away for business?" Yuki questioned.

"Yes, he is. He's in America right now seeing if he can expand it, mostly in New York City. That's where my aunt Yurika lives. But right at this moment, he's in Los Angeles, where his business is already expanding. He must do that before he can expand his business in New York City." Rai said kindly.

"Now, may I ask something: What does your mother do?" Yuki asked.

Rai sat there, quietly, didn't move, until she moved her lips softly, "M-My mother you said?"

Rai then started to shake and tremble all over, "W-Well...she was a well know artist and writer but right now she's-"

"She's in New York City with Yurika, getting away from her work for a little while." Yusuke added in.

"Hmm, seems practical." Yuki pointed out.

"Y-Yes, it is." Rai said while still shaking and trembling. Yusuke noticed it and gave Rai a lovingly and gentle smile, Rai slightly smiled back. He knew he would have to talk to her later before the night was over and she knew that too.

::HOW DARE HE!!! HOW DARE THAT BASTARD ASKS RAI THAT QUESTION!! NOW I HAVE ANOTHER REASON TO KILL HIM!!!!:: Yoko growled angrily.

/Yoko! He didn't know, remember, Kaya just met him, and EVEN Yusuke knows that and won't kill him, so I suggest you calm down./ Kurama said soothingly.

::Fine, but ONE MORE mistake with Rai or Kaya and I'll murder him!:: Yoko huffed.

Kurama sighed mentally as he continued to eat his dinner.

'That bastard, I can't believe he asked her that,' Hiei looked at the trembling and shaking Rai, who was still trying to calm down, 'Next time something like that happens, I'll kill him.'

Kaya noticed what was going on, and she immediately stepped in, "Anyway, where do you come from, Yuki?"

"I come from Yokohama." Yuki said simply.

"Oh really, I heard it's lovely there." Kaya said happily.

"Thank you, Sakura." Yuki said as he smiled kindly at her.

[Later]

"How much more of this torture must we go through?" Ariel said while her eye twitched rapidly.

"Hang on, Ariel, it'll be over soon." Kyo reassured his annoyed twin.

Rai was outside in the garden, the moon glistened in the night's sky, with all the stars out, and the moonlight making all the flowers, especially the roses shimmer.

Rai took a deep breath and let out a sigh.

"I thought I would find you here." Yusuke said as he walked up to her and gave her a hug.

Rai then immediately spun around and started crying into Yusuke's chest, "I miss her, Yusuke, I miss her so much! Every day, since that day, I've missed her. She was my mother, Yusuke, I hate lying to people about her, but I have to! I...I just wish she would come home! Where did she go? Did she run away from my father, Narutaki or me? I don't know Yusuke, I don't know what to think anymore. I...I...just feel so alone."

Yusuke immediately took her into his arms, held her tightly, and close to him, "You're not alone, you have me, Narutaki, your dad, Sayuka, Sage, Kamiya, and everybody else. You're not alone, Rain, we are all here for you, especially me. I won't let anything happen to you, Rai."

"What are all of you doing?" Kaya asked as she and Kurama walked into the living room.

Immediately, Mayumi, Hiromi, Ariel, Kyo, Botan, Kikyo, Takuya, and Kuwabara spun around.

"They were apparently looking through binoculars and Mayumi using her psychic powers to listen to Yusuke's and Rain's conversation they were having outside." Kai said simply with his eyes closed while he was lying down on a long chair.

"You know you didn't have to tell her that, Kai." Kikyo pouted.

Shun sweat dropped at the fact that there was going to be another fight between Kikyo and Kai.

"Wonderful, another fight between Kai and Kikyo. How, amusing." Hiei said dully.

Yukina giggled as she watched Kikyo and Kai growled and glowered at each other.

"Now, now, let us have no fights here, especially when we have a guest. If you two want to fight, fight civilized, in a decent conversation but have that later if you please. Dessert will be served and I need a few people to help me serve it since I can see Rai is dealing with some kind of problem and that Yusuke is comforting her. So any helpers?" Kaya asked kindly.

"Ooh, I'll help Kaya-chan!" Kikyo squealed in delight.

"Me too, Kaya." Botan chirped.

"I'll help as well." Yukina smiled.

"Same here." Hiromi replied.

"You can help us too, Kai. Since the dessert involves something to do with fire." Kaya winked.

Kai sighed and got up and walked over to the group of squealing girls and walked to the kitchen.

Ariel, Kuwabara, Mayumi, Takuya, and Kyo immediately went back to hearing looking out through the binoculars.

"What are they saying, Mayumi?" Kuwabara asked.

"So far, Rai is still crying her eyes out about her mother and her father now..." Mayumi said calmly.

"Hey Kurama, maybe you should join us to see what's up with Rai." Kuwabara commented.

Kurama glared at them, "I rather not intrude on Rai's business. I may love her, but I won't gossip about her." With that, Kurama stormed out of the living room and into the kitchen where Kaya, Kai, and the other girls were.

"He's just scared of getting his ass wiped by Urameshi." Kuwabara laughed.

"Figures." Ariel chuckled as she joined in with Kuwabara laughing.

Hiei growled at them, "Idiots..."

'I would like know what's going on with Rai, and how's she's taking it from dinner. But Yusuke would sense my presence and I rather not find out from those idiots. I'll find another way to find out later.' Hiei thought.

[Later-Dinning Room]

"Well, Yuki-san, I hoped you enjoyed our dinner we made for you now, now it's time for dessert." Rai said happily as she put her hands together. She was calmed down after a loving and comforting talk with Yusuke.

Yusuke smiled in relief that Rai was her happy self again.

'I worry about her a lot...I know something went on with Rai before I saw her,' His eyes then went dark, 'I'm going to find out what happened before that Kurama does.'

He did not know that Hiei confessed his love for Rai first, and did not know that she was in a love triangle. Not to mention, he did not know how much Rai was stressing and worrying about this love triangle with Hiei and Kurama. If he did find out, he would be outraged and kill them with all his spirit power he had.

Kurama let out a small sigh of relief, 'I'm glad Rai sorted everything out, but I wonder...what was the matter with her?'

::Why don't we ask her after dinner? We do know it's about her mother and her family. We both know that’s a VERY touchy and emotional subject with our Rain. So, just ask to be alone with her, and then ask her in a kind manner. Or if you chicken out, I'll come out and ask her myself!:: Yoko grinned sheepishly.

/Two things about that Yoko: 1) Yusuke told me not to ask her questions about Rai's personal life and 2) That would just upset Rai even more if we brought it up...AGAIN!!!/ Kurama cried angrily.

'You two won’t be asking Rain anything; After we eat dinner, we'll be taking Yuki to our place to meet mother.' Kaya thought as she drank her drink.

::WHAT?!:: Yoko asked angrily.

'You heard me, after dinner, we're to take Yuki home and we'll introduce him to mother.' Kaya replied.

::B-But-:: Yoko stammered.

"Everyone, I would like to announce that, Yuki, will be boarding with us for now on until he can get his own place to stay!" Rai beamed brightly.

"WHAT!?!?!" Everyone shouted, immediately jumping out of their seats.

"Rai, then how the hell are we suppose to get ANY work around the house!?!? Especially if he's around, I mean, Kikyo, Kai, Mayumi, Takuya, Hiei, Kurama, Yukina, and Botan couldn't act...well...themselves! Not to mention, we would have to call Kaya and Kurama "Shuuichi" and "Sakura"!!!" Ariel murmured into Rai's ear.

"Everyone, PLEASE!" Kaya said as she slightly raised her voice; immediately everyone stopped talking.

"Thank you, anyway, Yuki-san, you can live with my mother, if you don't mind." Kaya reassured the panicky group.

"That'll be quite alright with me, Sakura." Yuki smiled.

Kaya let out a small smile, "Well, it looks like it's getting late and I'll walk you home, Yuki."

"I'll be escorting you home, Kaya, my dearest sister shouldn't walk home by herself in the night!" Yoko's voice appeared and immediately, Kurama covered his mouth.

Everyone's eyes widened in terror (well, Mystic Rose Team didn't know what happened with Kurama's voice but they did KNOW that "Kurama" called her Kaya. It was Team Urameshi, Yukina, and Botan who we're worried as well).

Yuki raised his eyebrow, "Shuuichi if I'm correct, your voice different and that you called Sakura "Kaya"."

Yusuke and Kuwabara immediately jumped out of their seats and dragged Kurama out of the room to a different one.

"Shuuichi is coming down with a terrible cold, making his voice change. I just found out from Kazuya, who majors in Medical studies, who took a look at him before. As for "Kaya" it's a childhood name that Shuu-chan has called me forever, so it was just surprising since Shuu-chan has called me that since I was 12 years old." Kaya laughed nervously.

"Anyway, I'll be taking you and you'll stay there until you can get a home of your own." Kaya said as she stood up and one of the servants handed her red silk jacket.

"I'll walk you home, "Sakura", since your beloved "Shuu-chan" would want that and since he's "very sick"." Takuya said while sweat dropping.

[Door Entry to the house]

"It was nice meeting all of you, Rain-san, everyone, I'll drop buy when I have the time. Goodnight!" Yuki said kindly.

"Oh, Ren-chan, do tell "Shuuichi" that I'll have a talk with him tomorrow." Kaya said kindly.

"Got it, Sakura-chan! See you later!" Mayumi chirped.

Yoko: WE'RE ARE FINALLY DONE!!! ^_^

Lynx: We will now be doing previews for future chapters so, Yoko will start off first. ^^

Yoko: We soon find out that Mayumi is engaged to Lord Koenma of the Reikai! Mayumi, who despises him for an accident that happened in their childhood, is furious with the fact that their mother arranged this marriage! But, it seems that Koenma has forgotten that accident and is now MADLY in love with Mayumi! Not to mention, Koenma is now moving into the Urameshi Estate under the strict rules of his father and Lady Arella's advisors! And that's not all, Shizuru and Keiko soon move into the home of Rai, with Shizuru falling madly in love with Takuya at first sight and with Keiko noticing the "relationship" between Kamiya and Yusuke! That doesn't stop there! When Rai goes on an outing to do some clothing shopping for the girls, she is kidnapped by two twin sisters who are known as the "Deadly Duet", who are another type of henchmen for Master Kumar Fire and the Akuma Masters! Soon, a mysterious girl by the name "Anariu" appears and says that only 5 certain people can save Rai from the "Deadly Duet" but for a price! Now the problem is who's going and who's staying? Next time, "A Confused Road Map of Comings and Goings"!
