The Red Rose of Love

Chapter 24

"That was another hectic morning, if I may say so myself..." Kaya sweat dropped.

"Yes, Kaya but every morning is like that in that house-hold." Kurama chuckled.

It was true; every morning was hectic in the Urameshi Estate, especially with 15 people, including Rai herself. This morning, at 6:00am, exactly, everyone, except Yukina, Botan, and Kikyo, woke up to the sounds of Ariel chasing Yusuke, trying to get her uniform, since he sneaked into her room while she was sleeping still and then took it. Hiei, who heard the screaming of Yusuke and Ariel, was indeed pissed with both of them, and about to slice their throats until Rai stopped him and said that she would talk to both of them. Hiei, who wouldn't disobey her, agreed to it. Soon after Yusuke's and Ariel's "wake up call", the others got ready to go to school. After Ariel got her uniform back, she, Kyo, and Hiromi ran at top speed to get to their school, forgetting about breakfast. Shun, Takuya, and Kai soon left after them, saying they were going to get breakfast on the way. Mayumi forced Kuwabara and Yusuke to eat breakfast and then dragged them to school. Finally, Rai ate breakfast at her own pace and left a few minutes Yusuke, Kuwabara and Mayumi left. The only people who were left were Kaya and Kurama and soon eating their breakfast, they left, with leaving the awake Hiei and sleeping Yukina, Botan, and Kikyo.

The two siblings were walking to their school, wearing their school's uniforms. It was the middle of the week and Kaya and the others who just started school seemed to get the hang of it, even Kai.

"So, Kaya, how do you like living with Rai and everyone else?" Kurama asked politely.

"They seem like very nice people, even though they fight half the time but I find it adorable." Kaya giggled.

Kurama chuckled himself at Kaya's comment.

"Oh I just remembered something!" Kaya exclaimed.

"What would that be, onee-san?" Kurama asked politely.

"There's a new student coming into my class today and I was going to show him around." Kaya said happily.

"That'll be interesting." Kurama said while smiling.

"So during lunch we'll talk about the Akuma Masters, ok?" Kurama asked.

"Of course." Kaya said kindly.

[Midou High]

As soon as the two siblings got to their school, all chaos broke loose...

"Oh Shuuichi have these flowers I bought you!" Mariah Zenko said happily.

"Shuuichi-kun, will you go out with me?" Ayaka Tatsumiya asked.

"Shuuichi, have this lunch I made for you!" Fumika Izumi squealed.

As usual, Kurama was greeted by his "fan club", giving him flowers, lunches they made, and the list went on and on.

::This would be MUCH better if Rai was apart of these girls.:: Yoko murmured.

/For once I agree with you, Yoko, I would rather have Rai asking me these questions then any other girl here./ Kurama sighed.

While girls swarmed Kurama, his sister was going through the same thing...

"Oh Sakura my love, will you go out with me?" Ken Kimihiro asked as he went on his knees.

Then another guy pushed Ken away from Kaya and went on his knees and kissed her hand.

"My sweet Sakura, can, I, Sazuki Naba, be your boyfriend?" Sazuki asked with giving her a sexy and handsome smile.

"No way, Sazuki! Sakura is MY girl!" Toki Kugimiya replied hastily.

'Oh god, help me...' Kaya thought.

"Oh Sakura-chan! Sakura-chan!" A girl with purple hair in a side braid and greenish and bluish eyes chirped.

Kaya then sighed in relief softly, "Thank you, lord..."

The girl then walked over to the three guys and Kaya, "C'mon Sakura-chan we have to go to class!" With that, the girl dragged Kaya to their classroom, leaving the three guys fighting.

[Classroom]

"Thank you SO much, Setsuna Murakami, I thought I was going to die there." Kaya replied.

Setsuna giggled, "You're welcome Sakura-chan."

Everyone in Kaya's classroom were chatting, sitting down quietly, or just daydreaming.

Like her brother, Kaya had gotten herself her own "fan club" of boys and was named the most popular girl at Midou High. Everyone talked about the "Minamino Siblings", saying if they weren't sister and brother, that would be the perfect couple in the entire school. But yet again, Kurama was in love with Rai and Kaya wasn't looking for anyone at the moment...or so she thought...

"Settle down everyone, settle down." The teacher said as she came into the classroom.

"Good morning Miyazaki-sensei." Everyone said dully.

Miyazaki-sensei smiled happily, "Good morning everyone."

"Now before we start class, I would like to announce that we have a new student here. You may come in now."

The door then opened to show a 16-year-old boy with dark blue hair and blue eyes and was about 5'9.

"Ooooh, he's a total hottie!" Satsuki Kimayo exclaimed.

"Yeah he is but not as hot as Shuuichi!" Chisame Kuniki replied back.

"This is Yuki Tanaka, please make him feel at home," Miyazaki-sensei then turned to face Yuki, "Yuki-san, you won't be having your classes today since one of the students here will show you around," She then turned to face the class, "Minamino-san, please stand up."

"Yes, Miyazaki-sensei." With that, Kaya stood up with a gentle smile on her face.

Yuki immediately faced her and his eyes slightly widened, 'I-It's her...'

"Minamino-san will be showing you around the school today."

"Damn him..." Toki murmured.

Kaya then walked over to Yuki and smiled at him kindly, "Shall we go then?"

Yuki felt himself blush, "S-Sure."

With that, the two of them left the classroom, with the guys fuming with angry and the girls giggling.

[Hallway]

"My full name is Minamino, Sakura, but you can just call me Sakura." Kaya smiled happily.

"Anyway, I'm glad you choose Midou High School, it's one of the best schools in Japan..." As Kaya trailed on about the school, Yuki, ignored the talking and was having thoughts of his own.

'So this is the beautiful and lovely Kaya Katanya I heard about, well, I mean, I am the Water Prince and I did hear the legends when I was younger...' Yuki thought.

[Flashback-Ocean-Water Palace]

"Lady Yao could you please tell me another story! Please!" A young Yuki begged.

A woman with wavy blue hair and golden eyes smiled, "Of course young Yuki, but of course."

Lady Yao then sat on a chair and put Yuki on her lap, "A long time ago, there was a beautiful tennyo, she was fairest, kindest, and prettiest tennyo through out the Heavens, with her shinning dark blue hair and innocent crimson eyes. She was called Kaya Katanya, the daughter of Sayori of Heavens. Kaya, was named after her grandmother Kaya Katanya, who destroyed Satan and his warriors the Arjunas, and was one of the "Tennyo no Inori" who stopped the "Kakumei no Yami" and Mokushiroku Dynasty by the Akuma Masters and their leader Master Kumar Fire of Hell. Young Kaya was learning to take over her mother's position of becoming the Queen of the Tennyo while her older brother Lynx of Oracle was going to become King of all the Heavens. But, one day, before Kaya's grandmother killed the Akuma Masters, they and their leader destroyed the Heavens but Queen Sayori sent her two children to the Nigenkai to be reborn and that she would retrieve them when they were older. So Lynx and Kaya were reborn into the womb of Shiori Minamino with Lynx now Shunichi Minamino and Kaya now Sakura Minamino. But when Lynx was 5 and Kaya was just born a new "Akuma Masters" and new leader "Master Kumar Fire of Hell" took Lynx and Kaya put them into deep sleep. As we speak, Kaya still sleeps, waiting to be awakened and find her true love."

Yuki was amazed by the story of the beautiful Kaya Katanya. Hearing this story from his favorite nursemaid was indeed enjoying and he instantly fell in love with the lovely tennyo.

"Then I'll awaken her! I'll be her true love! I'll awaken her and her older brother from their deep sleep and then Kaya will be my bride and she'll be also the Water Princess of the Ocean! No man will have her at all because she will be MINE!" Yuki exclaimed.

Lady Yao giggled, "Of course Yuki, you'll be the true love of Kaya's and then she'll be your Water Princess as well as Queen of all the Tennyo."

"But Lady Yao, who are these Akuma Masters, Master Kumar Fire of Hell you speak of?" Yuki asked.

"That is another story that will have to wait for another day," Yao took his hand into hers, "Come now, young Yuki, you have your royal studies to attend to."

"Yes, Lady Yao." Yuki said.

'Kaya Katanya...you'll be my bride and I'll let NO man have you!' Yuki thought.

[End of Flashback]

"...So, you now know where everything is now, alright." Kaya said happily.

"Wh-what, huh?" Yuki exclaimed as he got out of his daydream.

Kaya continued to smile at him with an innocent and fragile smile.

Yuki felt his entire face go red, "Um, y-yes! Yes, I know where everything is now, arigato Sakura."

Kaya continued to smile at him, "Well just to make sure, I'll take you to your classes for the rest of the week, since I'm in all of your classes."

Yuki's face was still entirely red, "Th-thank you, Sakura."

"You're welcome, Yuki." Kaya giggled innocently.

Yuki stared at Kaya, who continued to smile at him gently, 'She's so beautiful, she's indeed prettier in this human form than her tennyo form. I really do love her...'

"Oh look at the time! It's time for lunch," Kaya took his hand into hers, "You can have lunch with me and my brother, ok?"

Yuki's entire body went red and he was sweating beyond belief, "S-Sure, anything for you, S-Sakura..."

Now it was Kaya's turn to blush and she blushed a pinkish glow, "Arigato, Yuki."

Yuki then smiled at her, "You look lovelier when you blush, Sakura."

Kaya then blushed a crimson across her cheeks, "A-Arigato, Yuki."

'She's so beautiful and angelic when she blushes.' Yuki thought with a smile.

[Outside]

Guys were fuming with anger as they saw Yuki walking with Kaya, nevertheless Kaya holding his hand.

Girls giggled and squealed with delight as they saw Kaya walking with Yuki.

Kurama then noticed his sister and waved to her when she was close by.

"Hi Ka-er, Sakura!" Kurama sweat dropped as he saw Yuki with Kaya.

"Yuki, this is my younger brother Shuuichi, Shuuichi, this is Yuki Tanaka, he's the new student in my class." Kaya introduced.

"Hello there Yuki, it's nice to meet you." Kurama said as he put out his hand.

"Same here, Shuuichi." Yuki said as he shook Kurama's hand.

"Kaya, I thought we were going to discuss the Akuma Masters..." Kurama whispered into Kaya's ear.

"Well I didn't want to ditch Yuki because he's new here, besides, after school, we'll take him back to Rai's home and introduce everyone to him." Kaya whispered back.

"I have a bad feeling about that..." Kurama sighed while Kaya giggled.

"Say Yuki, would you like to meet our friends after school and maybe our mother?" Kaya asked sweetly.

"Sure, I wouldn't mind." Yuki replied.

Kaya smiled kindly at him, "Great, the three of us will walk over to where Shuuichi and I are staying and we'll introduce you to them."

/I pray to the Lord that there won't be any havoc or chaos.../ Kurama sighed.

::But look on the bright side, at least we'll be able to see Rai again!:: Yoko grinned hugely.

/Yoko, let's not get into THAT again.../ Kurama said grimly.

Kurama then noticed Yuki and Kaya chatting away about many things and he smiled at them.

/Y'know what, Yoko, I think Kaya likes this Yuki Tanaka./ Kurama exclaimed.

::Seriously? I doubt it, it looks more like that YUKI likes Kaya.:: Yoko growled softly.

/What's the matter, Yoko, you don't like our older sister hanging around guys?/ Kurama mocked.

::Well for ONE thing I don’t like GUYS around MY SISTER, whether or not Kaya was younger than me or that she's actually older I don't like guys around her. You don’t know how hard it is from me coming out when guys at your school call Kaya "my girl"! And for one thing, I don't want this Yuki Tanaka around her!:: Yoko hissed.

/My, my, aren't we getting overprotective of our older sister, are we?/ Kurama chuckled.

::SHUT UP, SHUUICHI! DO YOU WANT KAYA TO GET RAPED BY...BY...HIM!!!:: Yoko yelled as he referred Yuki to "him".

/I doubt Yuki would EVER rape Kaya, Yoko. I know for a fact and can tell, that he absolutely loves her./ Kurama said dryly.

::Well now aren’t we going Mr. Soft here! I don't want to be the one who says, "Told ya so!" when Kaya is raped!:: Yoko growled angrily.

/Yoko, please calm down. If I knew Kaya was in danger by Yuki, then I wouldn't have let him join us for lunch! So Yoko, you can stop worrying about Kaya getting raped by Yuki because it won't happen OR will EVER happen./ Kurama said calmly.

::Fine, fine, but can I say something else?:: Yoko asked.

/Yes, what is it, Yoko?/ Kurama replied.

::If RAI got raped by someone can I seriously beat the fucking shit out of him?:: Yoko asked happily.

Kurama sighed loudly, 'The things I go through...'

::Hey I heard that, Shuuichi!:: Yoko exclaimed.

So as the rest of the lunch period went on, Yuki and Kaya chatted away while Kurama and Yoko fought.

[Yamamoto Jr. High-Classroom]

"I swear to god those girls are starting to get to me Kyo..." Ariel said as her eye twitched rapidly.

Kyo chuckled, "Don't worry about it, Ariel, it'll pass soon."

"Oh Kyo-kun will you go out with me?" All the girls in the classroom chanted with their girly tone.

"SHUT UP YOU BITCHES AND LEAVE MY BRO ALONE!" Ariel screamed at the top of her lungs with her eyes glaring angrily.

"AAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!!!!" The girls screamed as they instantly backed away from Ariel and Kyo.

"...Or you can do that..." Kyo chuckled while sweat dropping.

"Anyway, what were we going to discuss, oh yeah, I remember our reincarnations." Ariel exclaimed as she flopped down into her chair.

"Well we've known since we were 5 years old and when Hiromi was 4 years old that we were the reincarnations of the Three Samurai of our Clan." Kyo said as he drank his soda.

"Well for me I sorta forgot that I was the reincarnation of Katana, heh..." Ariel said nervously as she sweat dropped.

Kyo chuckled, "That's quite alright, Ariel, I mean, does our family really expect that we can remember we're reincarnations of our clan's leaders?"

"Sometimes I never get our family, especially what happened to me from that bastard, but let's not get into that." Ariel said as the tore open the container to her lunch and started chewing angrily on her food.

Kyo looked at his twin sister, holding back the tears, 'Yes, I remember that so clearly...'

[Later-Sidewalk]

"Sakura, where are you and Shuuichi exactly staying?" Yuki asked.

Yuki, Kaya, and Kurama walked down the streets heading to Rai's home after a long day of school.

Yet again, Kurama was still having a fight with Yoko.

::Any minute now when we're not looking and then poof! Kaya is found on the ground raped!:: Yoko exclaimed bitterly.

/For the MILLIONTH time, Yoko, Yuki is NOT going to RAPE Kaya!/ Kurama said calmly.

Through half the day, Kurama was keeping calm with Yoko because he wouldn't stop saying Yuki would rape Kaya. Nevertheless, Kurama would tell Yoko every time Yuki WOULDN'T rape Kaya and he was loosing his patience with his youkai kistune friend.

"Shuuichi and I are staying at a friend's house with 15 other people." Kaya exclaimed.

"That sounds interesting and fun." Yuki said with a smile.

::I...HATE...HIM!!!!!!!:: Yoko hissed angrily.

/Yoko, stop it please.../ Kurama begged.

::C'mon, let me out and then I can beat the shit out of him before he does any harm.:: Yoko exclaimed.

/NO, Yoko./ Kurama said sternly.

'Oh god, I want to kiss her so badly! But apparently, her brother is here...' Yuki thought as he and Kaya talked.

'Maybe just one little kiss on the cheek won't do any harm...' Yuki thought.

"...And then there's Rain Miri Urameshi, the cousin to Yusuke Urameshi. She's a really kind and gentle girl who is very sweet to every-" Kaya then looked up and then she felt soft lips touch her cheek.

"Yes, she is and everyone calls her Ra-" Kurama was cut off when he saw Yuki's lips against Kaya's smooth and soft skin.

::HOLY SHIT!!! HE'S GOING TO DIE NOW!!! LET ME OUT, SHUUICHI AND LET ME KILL HIM!!:: Yoko shouted hysterically.

/Calm down, Yoko, PLEASE STAY CALM! And I WILL NOT let you out! Just calm down and take some deep breaths.../ Kurama soothed.

Kaya felt herself blush hysterically, 'D-Did he just kiss me...'

Yuki smiled gently at the blushing Kaya and then took her hand into his and held unto it tightly.

"Shall we continue walking?" Yuki said kindly.

Kaya nodded her head while she still blushed crimson across her cheek.

'God, not only is she beautiful but she has soft and smooth skin!' Yuki thought dreamily.

'W-Why is my heart keep pounding from when Yuki kissed me on the cheek...?' Kaya thought.

::HE WILL DIE...TODAY!!! THAT BASTARD IS GOING TO PAY!!!:: Yoko screamed at the top of his lungs.

/Yoko, CALM down! It was just a kiss on the cheek and that can't do that much harm so stop saying you're going to kill him!/ Kurama said calmly, although he was starting to loose his patience with him.

::HOW CAN I CALM DOWN!? THAT YUKI GUY IS GOING TO RAPE KAYA AND I KNOW IT!!!:: Yoko shouted.

Kurama's eye twitched rapidly and his clenched his fist tightly, /Yoko, you're REALLY starting to-/

"Oh hello, Sakura, Shuuichi!" A familiar kind and gentle voice said.

Kurama, Kaya, and Yuki immediately spun around to face Rai, who wore her school uniform and wore her black choker necklace with the blue diamond on it with a gentle smile plastered on her pink lips.

'Thank god, Rai appeared or else I would have lost my temper.' Kurama thought to himself and sighed mentally.

::She's so pretty...:: Yoko drooled.

/Oh god Yoko, stop it.../ Kurama sighed in annoyance.

Yuki raised his eyebrow at Rai, "And who would YOU be?"

Rai still had the beautiful smile on her pink lips, "I'm Rain Miri Urameshi, cousin to Yusuke Urameshi, the daughter of the famous businessman Shintaro Urameshi and descendant of the Ryukyu Dynasty of my mother's side, which is the Ryukyu Family. My friends call me Rai for short."

Yuki's eyes slightly widened in amazement, 'So she's one of the Angels of Life, this shall be interesting...'

"I'm Yuki Tanaka, it's nice to meet you Rai." Yuki said simply.

"Rai, is it alright if I introduce Yuki to the others at your house?" Kaya asked kindly.

"Of course! It would be wonderful for everyone to meet Yuki, since he seems like such a nice guy!" Rai said cheerfully as she clapped her hands together.

Yuki just nodded his head in agreement and he and Kaya started to walk again, still holding Kaya's hand.

::She's so beautiful, kind, sexy, innocent, gentle...:: Yoko drooled.

/Yoko stop it before...oh whatever, just stop please./ Kurama sighed.

He then felt his hand taken into someone's gentle and soft hands. It was Rai and she smiled kindly.

"Why don't the two of us just walk together?" Rai asked kindly.

Kurama felt himself blush pink, "S-Sure, Rai, anything for you."

Rai continued to smile at him. Then seconds later she kissed Kurama on the cheek gently.

"Well we better hurry before Kaya and her friend Yuki get there before us!" Rai exclaimed with a smile.

Kurama's heart was pounding and making a rhythm, 'Did she just kiss me...?'

::The angel of pure just kissed us! I'm in a blissful moment, an angel who I love just kissed us! Not exactly me but the next time she does, I'll come out! I'm in a total bliss!:: Yoko chanted with his golden eyes now pink hearts and his heart pounding with love.

Kurama sweat dropped as he heard Yoko chant that, 'Well it's better than him yelling about killing Yuki...'

"Let's get home before Yuki and Kaya get there!" Rai chirped as she started to run, still holding Kurama's hand.

Kurama nodded and the two of them started to run to beat Kaya and Yuki, they laughed happily and smiled at each other.

'So this is what it's like to be love...It feels so great and I hope, Rai can return my feelings...' Kurama thought as he watched Rai giggled and listened Yoko chanting lovey dovey words about Rai.

Yoko: -________________-

Lynx: That...went well? O.o

Yoko: Lynx, can I NOW kill him?

Lynx: Yes...? o.o

Yoko: YAY!!! BE BACK LATER!!! *runs off with his rose whip in his hands*

Lynx: ^^;;;; I maybe protective of Kaya but not OVER-protective like Yoko is. Well, please review and finally a NEW chapter shall be posted, till then, bye!
