Chapter Six: Himeko's Debut

Since I've forgotten to do this in the past, I do not own Yu Yu Hakusho or any of its characters. I only own the characters that I give my name to in the fighter lists. Thank you for not suing me-Y.M.
"The next fighters are to now enter the ring!" Koto yelled into the microphone.
The next fighter from Team Gijutsu walked into the arena. It was a smaller person, though still humanoid in form.
Team Urameshi went into deliberation on who should fight next.
"Listen Shorty, I'm fighting this one!" Kuwabara yelled.
"You oaf. You couldn't last against any of them," Hiei said.
"Oh yeah! Well I'll prove you wrong!" the taller fighter yelled.
"Guys, guys, calm down. It's no big deal. Besides, Himeko is already in the arena."
"What!?" Kuwabara and Hiei yelled in unison.
It was true. Himeko was standing in the arena, cracking her knuckles and doing some stretches.
"Well, fans! We have our next fighters! From Team Gijitsu we have Michika! And from Team Urameshi we have Tsunami Yakosuya!" roared Tero.
"Let the bloodshed begin!" yelled the perky Koto.
Michika whipped off her cloak. Underneath was a fairly attractive woman with short auburn hair dressed in a tight black body suit. On her arms were two braces.
"Shall we begin, Tsunami?" Michika asked, her voice sweet and smooth.
"Call me Himeko, and yes, I'm ready," said the now serious Himeko.
"Good," said Michika as she rushed forward, palm outstretched. "I'd like to introduce you to the Iron Palm technique!"
Michika's palm was suddenly covered in electricity. *Iron Palm* She lashed outward with her hand and slammed where Himeko had been.
The other fighter had leapt into the air.
"So, you like lightning, huh? Then try this one on for size," said Himeko as she whipped out a ribbon from her hair like Kurama did when using the Rose Whip. "This is the Lightning Ribbon!"
Electricity started to crackle around the ribbon. *Lightning Ribbon* Himeko lashed out with the ribbon as she dropped from the air.
Michika grabbed the ribbon with the hand she had used the Iron Palm with.
"Your Lightning Ribbon can't hurt me when I'm using the Iron Palm!"
"Who said the Lightning Ribbon was my attack," said Himeko as she removed one of her earrings. She tossed the article of jewelry at Michika.
"You're going to hurt me with an earring?"
"No," said Himeko, as the earring exploded in Michika's face.
The other warrior clawed at her burnt face with the hand not holding the ribbon.
"The explosion is going to hurt you," said Himeko as she jumped over Michika.
The blinded fighter never knew what hit her.
Himeko removed one of her hairpins. It quickly turned into a Chinese sword that Himeko used to bash Michika over the head with. Michika slipped into unconsciousness upon being hit with the sword's hilt.
Himeko picked her ribbon up and then kicked Michika into the air. She finished the match by kicking Michika out of the ring.
"And the winner is Tsunami Yakosuya!"
The crowd booed the woman as she young walked out of the ring.
"Shut up or fight me! I don't care which!" Himeko yelled at the crowd.
The audience grew silent.
"That's better," snarled Himeko.
"Wow. You're stronger than I thought you'd be," said Kuwabara.
"Hn. She's not as strong as me, but she is pretty powerful," Hiei said.
"Thank you, Hiei. I feel so glad you think I'm a strong weakling," Himeko said sarcastically.
"Hn."
"Hey, stop fighting," said Kurama.
"Yeah. We need to think about the next fight," said Yusuke.
"You're right, Yusuke. I think I should fight next," said Hiei.
"Yeah, right, Shorty. I'm going up against the next one!"
"No way, oaf. You'd only get yourself killed." Hiei paused. "On second thought, you can fight next."
"Thanks . . .hey! I'm gonna fight just to prove you wrong, you midget!"
"You want to say that to my face, you carrot headed half-wit?"
"Fine!" Kuwabara leaned down to Hiei's rear. "I'm gonna fight just to prove you wrong, you midget!"
Hiei whipped around and kicked Kuwabara into the arena.
Kuwabara crashed to the ground. As he looked up, he saw his opponent. The fighter stood about the same height as Michika, but much more heavily built.
"Ah . . .fresh meat."
Kuwabara swallowed hard.
Hey, it's Kuwabara here, and I'm going into battle next. It's me against the bulky warrior Gallet, and it's no picnic, let me tell you that. I hope my training's enough to take out this hulk. Oh well, I guess you'll find out next time on Yu Yu Hakusho!
