~*~*~*Story Start*~*~*~

The shouts of the crowd were of anger, and we all knew why. Seeing my pathetic defeat against Hisoka in our last fight, they obviously did not believe that I could fight against anyone else. Well I'm glad that I showed them that just because I was a girl that I could still fight. Makintaro -and I don't mean to sound cocky- was not the strongest person I have met, but I will admit that he actually almost got me with his last attack. I didn't die, but I can't really say to the ends of my hair. My long hair that once reached down to my ass was now barely reaching the middle of my back, a pretty drastic change I must say. Thank god it wasn't that bad of a cut -I say this by feeling it, not by looking at it- or I would be pissed, but it would still need to be touched up. I'm so fucking glad that Makintaro is dead, he cut my hair! You NEVER cut a girls hair when she does NOT want it cut, or you get a sword through your head. ...Just saying.

“My hair, it's so short now.” I whined, anime tears flying down my cheeks heavily.

Hiei, Kurama and Kuwabara stared at me with sweat drops going down their heads, watching me sit in a fetal position, rocking back and forth as I held my cut hair in my hands. “Onna, stop acting like an idiot and overreacting, it's just hair.” Hiei said blankly, staring down at me.

I got an irk mark and glared up at him. “Maybe if I cut your hair, you'll understand my pain!” I shouted, my irk mark pulsing rapidly on my temple, but that only made him roll his eyes at me.

“This is the thing I don't understand about girls, they act like getting their hair cut is the end of the world.” Kuwabara said slightly annoyed, ignoring me as I shot him a heated glare, not even knowing that I was holding myself back from knocking him unconscious. Bastard, why do you side with Hiei now?!

Kurama sweat dropped when he saw the look on my face. “They only do that when they don't want it to be, and I don't believe Kira was exactly willing.” He said in my defense.

I threw my hands above my head, an anime mad face appearing as I ignored the stars that I was getting from the crowd and from Team Uraotogi. “Thank you, Kurama, you're the only nice person on this team!” I shouted dramatically.

Hiei scoffed slightly, getting a smirk. “And you say that you're not overreacting.” He said sarcastically.

I flipped him off. “Bite me.” I snapped, but Hiei only ignored me.

Getting over our...moment, I reluctantly dropped my arms down to my sides and let go of hair. Deciding that I had enough time to grieve over the loss of a few inches of my hair, I got up from my fetal position. Shooting another 'glare' at the two mean friends that I had, I stood between Hiei and Kurama, Kuwabara on Kurama's right. Growing serious once again, we remembered that we were going on the second match of the round, and we had to wait for Shishi to throw the die to see who would be fighting who. I just really hoped that it wouldn't be me again, because I didn't really feel like fighting more than once. I know that's mean and stupid, but I just really don't.

“Um, can we please get a clean up crew to pick up this body?” Juri's voice suddenly spoke over the shots of the crowd, a disgusted look on her face. “That isn't part of the referee job, is it?” She asked with a nervous laugh in her voice, staring down at Makintaro's corpse that still laid on the ring floor.

Koto still held her smile from the last fight, which made me grimace. “Again I loved the brutality, but next time let's try to drag it out. We mustn't forget our torturing.” She reminded happily, and I rolled my eyes.

“Roll.” Hiei suddenly demanded, glaring at Shishi. “I'm growing impatient.” He said annoyed.

Shishi was still smirking despite the loss of their team member, and that made me narrow my eyes. “Careful, fate may have a sense of humor.” He warned, holding up the seven sided dice between his fingers, as if that would impress us. But from the girls in the stadium, I guess it did. They have no taste...

Shaking my head slightly, I grew serious when I saw Shishi pull his hand back, sending the dies into the center of the ring. All of us -somehow magically appearing in the ring once again- looked down as the dies rolled across the tiles, the little clicks making me even more anxious to see who was going to be fighting next. I didn't want it to be, and I didn't want the boys to fight someone who was too strong for them. It wasn't like I could do much against any of the other guys -except maybe Ura Urashima- but that still didn't mean that I couldn’t worry about them! But I calmed down my raging thoughts when the dies finally slowed down to a stop, and Hiei, Kurama, Kuwabara and I stared down at the names that appeared.

“So any of us vs Kuro Momotaro.” Kuwabara said, reading the name off slowly.

“Thank god.” I said, letting out a sigh of relief.

Hiei crossed his arms, staring at me with a smirk playing on his lips. Jerk. “Yes, we wouldn't want anymore of your hair to be cut, now would we?” He asked mockingly.

I smacked his arm, shooting him a glare. “Shut up.” I mumbled.

Ignoring the urge to smack me upside the head, or cut my arm off, Hiei set his serious and cold gaze back on the dies that were in front of us. “If we can choose anybody from our team to fight in this match, then of course it's going to be me.” He said throwing his black robe off, revealing the blue undershirt beneath.

Juri rose her hand. “The second match of the Semi-Finals will be Hiei vs Kuro Momotaro!” She announced.

Ignoring the referee who seemed to be very preppy despite what had transpire and what will in the future, Kuro Momotaro looked down at the old man to his left. “Onji, you positive he won't pull off that attack he used to wipe out Zeru?” He asked lowly, but my ears easily picked up his words.

“Absolutely no chance of it.” Onji stepped away from Kuro, a smirk suddenly appearing on his lips. “Even if he were stupid enough to try, he couldn’t go through with it. His arm still hasn't recovered from the last time he unleashed the Dragon of the Darkness Flame. If Hiei were smart he would've saved a desperate move like that for a more worthy opponent, such as yourself. Lucky enough for you he couldn't wait, his arm is in no condition to use that move again.” He explained with a dark chuckle.

“That wouldn't have stopped me.” Kuro Momotaro said, chewing his gum obnoxiously.

Onji turned away, but he still held that smirk.“Don't be so confident about that Kuro, even with your abilities the Dragon of Darkness Flame can roast you like blonde chicken on a spit.” He warned slightly.

“Sorry to interrupt your talk, but I'd like to fight.” Hiei said annoyed, his expression bored.

“What are you jokers whispering about over there for so long?! If you've got something so important to say, why don't you share with the rest of the group?!” Kuwabara shouted stepping forward, glaring at them.

“Yes, if you wouldn't mind we'd like to start the next match soon.” Juri started out strong, but when she saw the narrowed look that came into Kuro's eyes, she regretted saying anything. “Or not, we can wait 'til whenever you think you might be ready!” She said nervously, stepping away from him.

“Never have been the ladies man have you, Kuro? I should give you some pointers, I was a real performer you know.” Onji said with a chuckle, staring at Juri's scared form.

All right, this is really getting annoying. “Can you just get on with it?! God fucking dammit, it's eight minutes into the show already!” I shouted annoyed, a glare in my eyes, it not wavering when Kuro set his 'glare' on me like he did with Juri. “Try again Blondie, you don't scare me.” I spat heatedly, flipping him off.

Onji laughed. “Simmer down little lady-”

“Don't you dare tell me to calm down!” I growled with an irk mark, making the boys sweat drop at me.

Onji just chuckled even more at me, before he set his sights on Hiei once again. “Hiei puts on a brave front even though he's hurt. Sure he's no push-over, but once your body's done it's little specialty we'll be well on our way to fighting Toguro.” He turned to Kuro Momotaro once again. “Just be sure you hold him off until your body can memorize his special attacks, that's how you'll defeat him.” He instructed seriously.

Kuro Momotaro blew another pink bubble before he sucked it back in annoyingly. “Your wasting your breath, I'm gonna chew him up, spit him out and stick him under a desk.” He said cockily, making me roll my eyes.

“Both fighters please step forward!” Juri said, looking up from her watch.

Kuro Momotaro spat out his gum, making me grimace -gross-, and walked towards the center, Hiei doing the same. Both fighters had smirks on their faces, but the one on Kuro's face made me a bit uneasy. I know that Hiei could handle himself against, but you can't blame me, we didn't really see any of their techniques in their fight the other day. Whatever Kuro Momotaro had in mind, it obviously wasn't going to be fun, but Hiei could handle it...right? Aw geez, I never thought I'd see the day that I would have to worry over HIEI, I mean the fight with Zeru was actually more under Hiei's control than anything else. This is not going to be fun to watch...

Kuro stopped just inches before Makintaro's corpse, that smirk growing wider. “If I were you little man, I wouldn't let that victory that little girl got go to your head. We're not all weak like this pile of garbage!” He shouted, sending a swift kick into Makintaro's head, sending the corpse out of the ring.

“Hey!” Kuwabara's wide eyes narrowed into a glare as he turned back to Kuro Momotaro. “That's your teammate!” He shouted angrily, his fist clenching tightly.

“Yeah, I know I shouldn't be talking, but that's low!” I shouted in agreement, a glare in my eyes.

Kuro laughed off our shouts, not seeming to care at all. Walking towards Hiei, my glare worsened, now what was he going to do? He couldn't do anything to Hiei unless the match starts, but Juri hadn't called it yet. “Hey, you won't mind me borrowin' this for a second, now would ya?” He asked with a smirk, grabbing a hold of Hiei's Katana, while the fire youkai narrowed his eyes at him.

“Great, now what's he doing?” I mumbled

Kuro Momotaro looked at the surprisingly perfect looking sword, a glint appeared in his eyes when he turned to Hiei. “I think you'll find me a 'tad' tougher than Makintaro was.” Watching Kuro, I couldn't help but feel disgusted when he licked Hiei's sword, I mean that thing has got to have bacteria on it or something! “Yeah, sweet sword!” He said with a smirk, holding it up slightly. Apparently he doesn't care. -_-;

Hiei rose an eyebrow at that. “Hate to say, but that's hardly hygienic. You have no idea how many creatures that sword has cut through.” He said, that look not leaving his face.

“Oh, I'm sure.” Kuro Momotaro slashed Hiei's sword through the air two times, before he rose the sword towards his left arm. “Let me have one more.” He said with a smirk, digging the sword deep into his skin, making a fountain of blood gush out as the sword slid cleanly through it.

All of us stared in shock, even Hiei did which really surprised me, but could you blame us? I stared at the gushing wound with a freaked out expression, now I was really starting to worry about Hiei. This guy is fucking insane, he just willingly CUT himself with his opponent's sword, dear god that's really creepy! At least I wasn't the only one who thought that, and I was so glad that Hiei at least showed that much of a reaction, because I don't think I've seen his eyes widen that much since he saw my really bad bruises -which for the record still have yet to heal and are still bandaged as well as my wrist-, but anyway on with the story.

“What the fuck was that?!” I shouted with a confused/creeped out look on my face.

“Oh yeah that's it! It hurts so good! Oh, oh yeah baby! Now we're talking!” Kuro Momotaro shouted through clenched teeth, watching as more of the purple blood flew from his deep wound, splashing the tiled ring below. Eww!

Kuwabara stared at Kuro Momotaro with wide eyes as well, but not as bad as me. “These guys are making it a little easy for us to beat 'em!” He said slightly shocked.

“This is definitely one of the more unconventional moves!” Koto commentated from behind us.

I stared at everyone, how the hell were they being so calm about this? Well I know I shouldn't care, but it just really caught me by surprise. “No shit it's unconventional, he pretty much almost cut off his own arm.” I said with a shake of my head, staring at Kuro Momotaro as if he were crazy. He probably is. ...Just saying.

Kuro Momotaro ignored the shouts from the youkai, plunging the sword into the ground next to him. “Sharp, not that...it'll do you any good now.” He took in deep breaths as he took out a yellow sphere off his belt, a black upside down peach painted on it. “This is the Steaming Sphere that seals your fate.” He said seriously, the smirk now off his lips, his eyes now narrowed. Uh oh...

“I don't know what that is, but he doesn't make it sound very good.” Kuwabara mumbled nervously.

“Well it's not suppose to help Hiei, that would kind of make this fight pointless if it was.” I said bluntly, staring up at Kuwabara with a blank look on my face, while the ningen gave me a sheepish smile.

Rolling my eyes at the lack of response, I turned back towards the ring with a narrowed look in my eyes. And they only narrowed even further when I saw Kuro Momotaro clench his fist tightly over the Steaming Sphere. A second later steam billowed out of the small circular object, it coiling and floating in the air above the blond. From the feeling I was getting from the steam, I looked over at Hiei worryingly, not liking how this fight was going to go. Hiei better make it out of the fight all right, or I'm seriously going to find his spirit in Reikai and kick his ghost ass. ...I'm just saying.

“Huh?” Kuwabara mumbled confused. “Now what the heck is that crack-pot doing?”

No one said anything to the red haired ningen's question, we just continued to stare at the mass of steam that hung in the air. But all attention went to Kuro Momotaro when he tilted his head back and sucked in the grayish-purple smoke, leaving the air now clear once again as it disappeared down his throat. Kuro's body began to glow the same color as the steam, and the wound that had been previously gushing blood instantly healed, making it look like it had never even been there to begin with. There wasn't even a scar. However, my attention from the healed wound was instantly forgotten when I saw brown hair suddenly sprout all over Kuro Momotaro's body, even his blond hair had turned brown as well. I grimaced in disgust at the hair that now almost completely covered his body, except his face, palms, torso and abdomen. Even his ears had changed as well, becoming longer and slightly more pointier. Gross.

“Beast Armor: Armor of the Ape.” Kuro Momotaro laughed evilly, looking at Hiei with a sadistic smirk on his lips. “What do you think, Hiei?” He asked with a dark chuckle coating his words.

“You look like a fucking freak!” I shouted with my hands cupped over my mouth, a smirk now on my lips.

Kurama's jade-hued eyes narrowed. “Those spheres must contain some animalistic properties that transform him once consumed.” He explained seriously.

“Kuro Momotaro's body is now covered in hair! So much for those freshly waxed, wash-board abs I loved so dearly!” Koto pretty much whined with a frown on her face, why the hell did they decide to keep her as an announcer again?

Kuro Momotaro's eyes narrowed on Hiei's form -who had gone back to being emotionless-, and he gripped Hiei's sword tightly in his now fur covered hand. “Well I won't be needing this scrap metal anymore, and I can honestly say neither will you.” He said seriously, throwing the sword at a surprising fast speed towards Hiei, who didn't move out of the way.

With a glare in his eyes, Hiei blocked the sword with his arm before catching the spinning weapon effortlessly. “We'll see about that.” He said lowly, his tone cold and serious.

*One word: Badass.* I thought with a smirk on my lips.

“And begin!” Juri announced.

Hiei's eyes narrowed into a dangerous and focused gaze, not wasting a second. “Let's put this armor to the test.” He said as he gripped the hilt of his sword tightly, before spinning it expertly in his hand. ...Show off.

Before any of us could blink Hiei put his hand on the ring, pushing off the ground towards Kuro Momotaro's form at a surprising speed. But as he neared the giant youkai/ape, he disappeared, making my eyes widen and dart around just to try and find him. Damn, if he fought against Makintaro I think he would have killed him in under five seconds. I'm still so slow... I snapped out of my depressed thoughts when my eyes caught sight of Hiei's form, watching him slam his sword into Kuro's right forearm. Lightning crackled around from underneath the blade on on Kuro's skin, but my eyes widened when I saw that there was no blood. Seeing Hiei's eyes narrow as he put more pressure onto the blade, I knew he didn’t' see any either. Shit.

“Yeah! You got him!” Kuwabara suddenly shouted happily, clenching his fist with a smirk on his face.

I bit my lip. “You might not be too happy in a second, Kuwabara.” I mumbled.

Kuwabara turned to me slightly with a confused look on his face. “Huh, why do you say that?” He asked, turning his now narrowed gaze back to the fight that was currently going on.

I didn't say anything, I just kept my gaze on the blue sparks of lightning that continued to spew from Kuro's skin and Hiei's blade. A frown appeared on my lips, however, when I heard the dark chuckle rumble in Kuro Momotaro's throat. Kurama and I tensed up, just seconds before Hiei's blade broke into two pieces, leaving only a few inches of the blade left on the hilt. Hiei's eyes widened, watching the two free-falling pieces hit the floor, one sticking out of the ground while the other bounced, leaving a loud clang to echo around the stadium. My eyes widened as well, and my mouth dropped open. I think Hiei should have listened to Kuro's words about his sword not being of any use.... Aw god dammit, this fight is really going to suck now!

“That's why...” I said trailing off, slightly shocked.

Kuwabara stared with a shocked and disbelieving expression on his face, sweat trickling down his temple at the sight. “That's impossible, what the heck happened to his sword?!” He asked/shouted, not taking his eyes off the broken metal.

“I think it broke.” Kurama said with truthful sarcasm, eyes still on the fight.

Hearing that brought me out of my shocked state, and I grimaced as I let out a sigh. “Well great, now what's Hiei gonna use as a weapon?” I mumbled as my eyes narrowed, now I'm gonna worry again...

As Hiei landed back on the ground, I saw him smirk as he straightened up, and that made me relax slightly. At least Hiei wasn't discouraged about having no weapon, I just hope that nothing else of his breaks, or that wouldn't go over too well. Letting my eyes travel away from Hiei's form, I let them narrow when Kuro Momotaro came into my line of vision. He had a crazed look in his eyes, and his already beady eyes seemed to almost disappear. That annoying little fucking smirk was still on his lips, and he was now laughing, his body beginning to shake because of it. Hearing the laughter, Hiei's eyes narrowed as he began to side step, eyes locked on Kuro's form.

“I'd rather destroy you with my own hands anyway.” Hiei said emotionlessly, his smirk gone.

Kicking off the ground, Hiei disappeared once again, but this time into the air. My eyes darted upwards, and I saw Hiei's form above Kuro Momotaro's head...or he was above Kuro Momotaro's head I mean. Almost disappearing as quickly as Hiei did, Kuro Momotaro appeared behind Hiei, making my and Hiei's eyes widen slightly. Turning around quickly, Hiei dodged a strong kick and a swift punch to the head. However, Kuro wasn't done yet, sending two more missed punches at Hiei's face before one landed, sinking slightly into his abdomen. Hiei didn't even wince at the pain in his stomach but he let out a grunt as Kuro brought back his fist. And before I could even blink, Kuro cupped his hands together, slamming them down onto Hiei's head. The same blue lightning from earlier crackled from the impact and it quickly covered Hiei's body just seconds before the fire youkai was sent towards the ring, the lightning still crackling around him.

“He's in trouble.” Kurama mumbled, his eyes wide.

I frowned at Kurama words, but I had no time to say anything when I saw Hiei collide with the edge of the ring. Another grunt of pain escaped Hiei's lips as the ring crumbled from the impact, pieces of the ring falling to the ground from beneath. A gasp escaped my lips as I watched Hiei slide across the ground, picking up the dirt as he went before he slammed into the stadium wall, a cloud of smoke covering his body from view. My worry grew even stronger when I heard the crash and saw the line of picked up dirt leading towards Hiei's still covered form.

Kuwabara and I ran a few steps forward. “Hiei!” We both shouted in worry.

As the dust cleared away and dissipated back into air, I clenched my fists tightly when I saw Hiei's form slumped inside the large whole in the stadium wall. His eyes were closed and there were small cuts on his face and arms, and he didn't appear to be moving either. Dammit, why did I have to jinx us with my worrying? Just why? Hearing the sounds of footsteps from the ring, I broke from my thoughts and glared heatedly when I saw Kuro Momotaro standing near the ring. He had that annoying fucking smirk that could almost rival Dr. Ichigaki's, almost. But I turned my gaze away from him, seeing as how my glare on made him smirk wider. Looking back at Hiei, I frowned slightly, I just knew that this was going to be a 'fun' fight to watch.

“You still there?” A second after Kuro's question, Hiei opened his eyes, and I let out a sigh of relief. “Guess your probably wondering how I was able to fend off your attack so easily. Simple really, my body does this neat trick where it remembers the pain of my opponent's attack.” Hiei tensed slightly, his eyes narrowing as he remembered the events earlier. “All I have to do to get immunity is to expose myself to a small dose of my enemy's offense, kind of like a flu shot.” Kuro explained.

*Aw, motherfucker! That's why he cut himself with Hiei's sword!* I thought with a glare, and from the narrowed look in Hiei's eyes as he began to sit up, I could tell he wasn't too happy with the new either. I wonder why? (*Eyeroll*)

Kuro's smirk widened when he saw the same thing as I did. “Once my body knows what attack to look for, then it's time for a good ol' Steaming Sphere.” He said with a dark chuckle.

“What does that do?” Kuwabara asked/growled with narrowed eyes.

“Think of it as a catalyst for my Beast Armor, which makes me invincible to my opponents attack and much more handsome to boot.” Kuro Momotaro explained once again, crossing his arms over his chest with a conceded smile on his lips instead of a sadistic one.

I gagged slightly. “Ew! You are NOT handsome!” I shouted with a shiver of disgust.

Kuwabara, as well as everyone else, ignored my shout and his eyes widened. “But...that's not fair! There's no way Hiei can beat someone invincible!” He shouted, looking over at the fire youkai worriedly. ...Best friends.

“The big stupid one is right about that.” Onji said smirking, putting in his two scents.

My right eye twitched at the sound of that creepy old mans voice, I swear for some reason I hate that guy, I just don't know why. Oh well, he is the bad guy so I don't feel bad :D. “Hey, we didn't ask for your input, so shut the fuck up!” I shouted with an irk mark, an anime mad face appearing.

Onji just chuckled again, and that made me stiffen with anger, but I said nothing else. Stupid cocky old bastard pissing me off more than I already was. Turning my gaze back towards Hiei, I saw the fire youkai stand up, and I was happy that he wasn't in pain -or at least that's what he's making us believe anyway-. However, the narrowed look was still in his eyes, something that told me that he was not happy with how Kuro got the first real attack instead of him. I would be too if I were him, considering Hiei's track record with his battles, especially the one with Seiryu. However, I couldn't help but want to roll my eyes at that, I wish these guys understood that it didn't matter, all that DID matter was that they get out of the fight alive. Dumb ass... Not really, but kind of.

“Whoa, Hiei...” Kuwabara mumbled, watching the now standing fire youkai.

I punched my fist in the air, a smirk on my lips. “You got this Hiei, kill the fugly bastard!” I shouted, almost drowning out the shouts that the youkai in the stands began chant. Yeah, I can be pretty loud when I want to :D.

Hiei, ignoring me once again, began to walk towards the ring, taking all the time in the world considering that there was no counting if you went out of ring. Seeing that Hiei wasn't paying attention to my shouts of encouragement and that apparently this was a serious moment, I pouted slightly, letting my arm drop back to my side. However, I watched the two give each other a stare off, and the narrowed look that was in Hiei's eyes told me that he probably had something in mind. Well the guy always has something in mind, I don't think that this would be an exception. But I just hope that he'll think of something that can kill this bastard, seeing his annoying smirking face was starting to piss me off. Speaking of annoying smirking faces, said man was doing that right now as he looked down at Hiei's emotionless form stop before him.

“Come on, whatcha waiting for? where's your famous 'Dark Dragon' crap?” Kuro Momotaro asked, and by his tone, we all knew that he was mocking Hiei as well as challenging him. Very bad move on his part.

Hiei narrowed his eyes into a dangerous glare. “You want it?” He almost growled.

Kuro clenched his fist, a glare now in his eyes and his smirk now gone. Well finally! “As soon as my body memorizes your most powerful attacks, I can squash you with the palm of my hand.” He said through clenched teeth, growing impatient with the smaller youkai's 'stalling'.

Turning to Hiei I frowned, hoping that he wouldn't be tempted to summon the Dragon of the Darkness Flame. Even if I didn't really know what happened to his arm -besides knowing that it was hurt summoning the Dragon the first time-, I didn't want him to hurt himself even more. After hearing what Onji had to say about Hiei's arm, that only made me not want him to do it even more, for the obvious reasons that were there. However, my hopes seemed to dampen when I saw that familiar evil smirk fall on Hiei's lips, it foretelling death -or at least that's what it seemed to say to me sometimes-. Frowning, I watched with a nervous gaze when Hiei grabbed his white headband, tossing it to the side. And we all saw the purple irised Jagan eye in all it's glory open up, giving off that eery purple glow like it did the last time I saw it.

“Who am I to turn down a fan's request? Just remember, you brought this upon yourself.” Hiei said, his tone deadly and calm, making even me shiver slightly and that wasn't even directed at me!

Koto's eyes widened at the sight that was about to unfold before us all. “Oh no! It looks like Hiei's gonna call the Dragon of Darkness Flame again, get ready to duck and cover!” She shouted from her box in the stands, while I resisted the urge to tell her to shut up. Juri at least doesn't talk until she absolutely is suppose to and she sounds like a fucking prep! God dammit...

Keeping myself calm, I let out a steady breath before I remembered that this was suppose to be a serious moment and I just ruined it. Feeling the rise in Hiei's Spirit Energy, I watched as the black and purple flame like Energy appeared from beneath Hiei's feet, flickering around his body hungrily. My skin began to tingle at the how strong Hiei's Spirit Energy was, but despite that I still was worried about what would happen to his body or his arm once he summoned the Dragon once again. Especially when I saw the atmosphere change into a different color, and felt more Spirit Energy rise as a reddish-orange light began to appear beneath the fire youkai. However, I didn't have time to dwell on that, considering we had someone else to watch in this fight besides Hiei. ...Damn.

“Hey!” Kuro shouted impatiently, clenching his fists tightly. “What's the hold up here, you too weak to do it?!”

A dark chuckle passed through Hiei's lips, and I shook my head slightly, Kuro should not have said that. “True pain takes time, my friend, just try to keep yourself amused.” He said, clenching his right fist as lightning crackled around it.

“You show him, Hiei!” Kuwabara clenched his fists, his eyes narrowed. “His memories not so sharp after all! Obviously he's forgotten what that attack did to the last guy!” He shouted, and I smiled slightly. Aw.

“Not just him, the flame took its toll on, Hiei.” Kurama spoke up seriously.

And that caused my smile to drop. “Yeah, his arm still hasn't recovered, or so I've heard.” I mumbled the last part quietly to myself, shooting a glare in Onji's direction.

“What?!” Kuwabara asked, staring at us wide eyed.

“To summon the Dragon,” Kurama began. “Hiei must use his own Spirit Energy as bait to lure it from the pits of Reikai. This technique only works if he can emit a tremendous amount of Energy for a prolonged period.” He explained, his eyes narrowed on Hiei's form, as well as mine.

“Yes, you are correct.” Onji muttered across from us with a dark chuckle, and I growled under my breath.

“Hiei was in peak condition when he used the Darkness Flame against Zeru, and even that wasn't enough power for him to control it. The beast nearly took the hook along with the bait.” Hearing that, Kuwabara stared at Hiei's form in shock, and I did as well, but not as animated as Kuwabara. “Who knows how he will fare now, operating with little over half his Energy.” Kurama said seriously, eyes narrowing further.

I groaned slightly. “Great, now I'm even more worried than I was before.” I whined, my frown deepening.

“That's half!?” Kuwabara stared in shock, sweat trickling down his temple. “You're telling me he's making that much Energy at half his normal strength?!” He asked, his voice matching his expression perfectly, not even looking at Kurama.

“Regardless, he doesn't have enough Energy to unleash it.” With the way Kurama said it, I knew that this wasn't going to have a 'happy' ending at all. I just had a feeling. “With Hiei's present levels, the Dragon will devour our friend ann his entirety.” He finished with a solemn look on his face.

“What?!” I shouted this time, my eyes wide.

Another dark chuckle came from Onji's direction, and I sent him a cold glare. “He's right about that, but the truth of the matter is that Hiei doesn't have an option. Without such a technique, Kuro won't get a scratch.” He said with that same fucking smirk all of his teammates had on. Ok, that's it!

Turning fully to Onji, my glare turned deadly. “Why don't you keep your fucking mouth shut, Onji?! We don't need to have you eavesdropping on us!” I snapped angrily, fist clenched.

“Don't get mad at me, as I said, its the truth of the matter and there's nothing that can be done about it.” Onji said with another laugh, his smirk widening as I growled under my breath once again. If he pushed me more than he already had, I was seriously going to cut off his head before he could even begin to blink.

“Go fuck yourself!” I spat heatedly.

However, before anyone could say anything to me -for example 'calm down' or another laugh from the old bastard opposite me-, something caught all of our attention. “Hiei! Where is it?!” Kuro shouted impatiently, and that made us turn back to them, our argument forgotten.

“Here!” Hiei shouted, his Jagan glowing once again.

Kicking off into a run, Hiei clenched his right fist as lightning crackled around it, the black and dark purple flames now gone as he raced towards Kuro Momotaro. Not wanting to wait any longer, Kuro ran towards Hiei as well, his eyes narrowed and ready to see the Dragon be unleashed. Both fighters let out shouts as the distance between them rapidly began to disappear, and as I watched them the same fear began to wash over me. And just as I was about to lose all hope in Hiei's judgement, Hiei suddenly jumped into the air, making all of us stare at him with confusion -or for Kuro; anger-. A dark purple mist of Energy formed around Hiei's closed fist, and I waited hopefully.

“Fist of the Mortal Flame!”

I was almost tempted to fall to my knees in relief at that moment. *Stupid bastard, making me worry for nothing!* I thought with angry anime tears welling up in my eyes, I'm going to kill him, I swear!

Snapping back into my serious -and more appropriate- state, I watched Hiei land in a crouched position, thrusting his right fist forward. Black flames alight with purple and white Energy erupted from Hiei's fist, flying towards Kuro Momotaro at a dangerous speed. Dangerous for him ;D. ...Seconds later the thick stream of fire collided with Kuro Momotaro's abdomen and face, the impact echoing across the stadium and bouncing off the walls, almost making me wince at the sound. ALMOST. A grunt of pain escaped Kuro's lips as he tried to withstand the attack. Hiei let out another shout, pouring more of his Spirit Energy into the flame until Kuro took a step back, letting out another grunt of pain as the flame broke from Hiei's hand, leaving Kuro to stand in pain as lightning crackled around his form and smoke rose from his wounded skin.

Kuwabara narrowed his eyes in confusion, staring at Kuro's smoking form. “Hold on, that doesn't look like a dragon!” He said, not taking his eyes off the fight.

“It's a related flame, but of Ningenkai.” Kurama explained shortly.

“Ooh, Hiei seems to have hit Kuro Momotaro pretty hard with some sort of terrible attack.” Juri commentated happily and very preppy, making me snap back into reality and sweat drop. I was really starting to regret having this new announcer as well, why couldn't they just have some regular person do it? Dumb asses.

I rolled my eyes, mocking in a quiet preppy voice. “Wow, it's not like we don't have any, like eyeballs.” ...Ew.

However, I stopped my mean ways when I heard Kuro's screams getting louder. Turning my attention back to the ring, I saw the lightning around Kuro grow brighter and the same spots where the wounds had been were doing the same. With another loud shout, the light grew brighter- almost blinding until it came to a sudden stop, dimming into nothing. Kuro let out a weak grunt as he fell to his knees, black and purple flames still emitting from Kuro's body, coiling and dissipating like the shadows on my Shadow Fist. And I couldn't help but smirk when I saw Kuro lay his arms on the ground as he leaned forward, his body shaking from the pain as more groans fell from his lips. Take that ya damn bastard.

Hiei scoffed. “I decided, 'why waste the flame of the underworld on the likes of you, when the more mundane one of the ningens would suffice?'” He said with a smirk, his Jagan eye dimming once again.

But the smirk on Hiei's lips dropped when he narrowed his eyes at Kuro Momotaro, letting out a slightly confused 'huh?'. All of us looked at the transformed blonde, our eyes widening when we saw him get to his feet, laughing darkly despite the smoke that rose from his left eye. Hiei stood up from his crouched position as well, watching Kuro guardedly with a deadly gaze. I did as well, a frown on my lips once again, great NOW what was he going to do?! I fucking hate this fight, it better be over in the next chapter or I'm so going to be pissed!

“I really had you going there for a second, didn't I?” Kuro Momotaro asked mockingly.

“It's an unlikely reversal, Kuro is back on his feet! That Fist of the Mortal Flame would have sent lesser fighters running for their mommies, but not this brick wall!” Koto announced, geez I was actually MISSING the sadistic bitch, at least her voice wasn't preppy...

Kuro let out another smirk, eyes shrinking once again. “And now I've memorized this pain, too!” He shouted.

Laughing almost hysterically, Kuro Momotaro wiped the smoke from his left eye with the back of his hand and pulled out another Steaming Sphere, squashing it in his palm like he did with the last one. The same smoke filled the air and Hiei watched with a narrowed gaze once again. Another attack he couldn't use against the furry freak. Great. As if this day couldn't get any worse! Well it could because this is the first problem we've been faced with today, but you understand what I mean.

“Kuro is squeezing another one of those Steaming Spheres, I wonder what he's doing that for?” Juri asked with another annoying smile and use that same annoying voice.

My right eye twitched. “Are you serious?! Kuro already explained it you dumb ass, he's going to fucking change once again because he knows Hiei's attack, god dammit open the green things that are attached to your head!” I shouted with an irk mark, making the mermaid youkai look at me with a snooty look on her face.

But besides that, Juri ignored me. “Could he possibly get any tougher?” She asked again.

“Fucking bitch!” I growled, but was held back from attacking the stuck up prep of a referee by Kuwabara and Kurama. *I swear I”M going to get HER!* I shouted in my mind, repeating Botan's words from before.

“Kira, calm down, remember Hiei could be in trouble.” Kurama said, breaking me from my pissed thoughts.

At the mention of Hiei, I looked back at the ring, and the boys let me go once they felt me stop thrashing. All of us watched with renewed focus and seriousness, our eyes narrowing as we watched Kuro Momotaro suck in the steam from the Steaming Sphere that had now disappeared into nothing while inside his palm. But our expressions changed when we saw Kuro Momotaro's appearance do the same. Blue scales covered his arms, torso and abdomen, and gold, spiky wings grew out of his arms. He also exhibited red eyebrows, large, feathery golden hair, side burns, and a golden goatee. So all and all, he looked like a really weird colored bird, which was completely strange considering -sometimes- birds aren't that scary or threatening.

A cackle echoed through the air, it sounding like something you would hear from a witch or something. “Your little fist technique is completely useless against me! Now that I'm protected with the second beast: The Armor of a Phoenix!” He shouted, his voice annoying and high pitched instead of rough like before.

“Ew, Hiei kill it!” I shouted with an anime face, my jaw dropping in shock.

Hiei almost sweat dropped. ALMOST.

“This competitor just can't seem to stay in one body for more than a few minutes!” Juri shouted with wide eyes, her face looking slightly grossed out from Kuro's 'lovely' new make-over. Yeah, right.

Koto was now out of her seat, having wanting to see Kuro's new look. “He's transformed into some kind of a giant bird. This sequel to his Beast Armor is even bigger and badder than the first one!” She shouted with a shocked look of her own.

“Why are we all shouting?!” I shouted, now confused. ...XD

Kuwabara, ignoring me, glared at Kuro with an annoyed look on his face. “What a rip off, this guy is too chicken to stick around and fight in his own skin for a while!” He shouted angrily, contributing.

“Nicely put.” Kurama mumbled, breaking the chain of shouts. Aw, I found it amusing.

Growing out of my childish faze, I took in the information that I had given Juri a few moments ago. Thanks to Hiei's attack not killing him -sorry Hiei-, Kuro was even more invincible than he was before. Considering how Hiei is too drained to really call out the Dragon of the Darkness Flame, that meant that he could pull out a very strong attack that could kill Kuro Momotaro in a single blow. Getting a grimace on my lips, I wanted to bang my head against the wall of the new ring, frustration beginning to build. Dammit, this has got to be the most fucking annoying match -besides Rinku, Roto, and Risho's (wow three R's)- that I have ever seen. I really feel bad for Hiei having to deal with that, especially when his opponent kept changing into really creepy -and stupid- armors.

Ha.

Ending it here! If it had been thirty earlier I would have had this out in a day, but dammit I procrastinated! Anyway, I hope you guys liked this and sorry that I was late with my last chapter, forgive me D: Anyway, bye :D!
