Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ Shattered Gates ❯ Disclaimer & Stuff You Should Know ( Chapter 1 )

Totally Silly Disclaimer Thingy ... (PAY ATTENTION, CAUSE I'M ONLY gonna' SAY THIS ONCE!):

=> I do not own Yu Yu Hakusho or any of it's characters (I'm not that damn lucky! And seriously, if I did own Yu Yu Hakusho, what the hell would I be doing posting my work here and not selling it for way too much money?( ~ smacks you upside the head ~) Don't be silly! They belong to Funimation and Yoshihiro Togashi... ('grumble' lucky bastards... 'grumble').

=> I am not making any money out of this, just using it as practice for working on my own novels (two in the works at the moment)... and I'm poor, so don't bother try'n to sue, cause I don't have anything worth taking... Including this crappy computer that keeps eating my damn work!

=> I do not own any characters from any other anime/manga/book/cartoon/game that you may find making cameo-appearances in the story, or refferences thereof (also not that damn lucky or gifted).

=> Any refferences to songs, poems or some other literature have nothing to do with me unless stated as such.

=> All 'Servant' characters, or anybody else you don't recognise, (including most, but not all of the Hell-spawn beasties), as well as the gibberish 'Language of Gaia' (and chorosponding translations) are a product of my deeply bored brain coupled with many years worth of language classes... five years of Spanish and two of Quebecque French, and I don't remember a damn thing... sigh...

You won't find any of it here. I don't have anything against it if that's your thing, but it just doesn't seem to match the characters of Yu Yu Hakusho... so I didn't put any in, sorry.

........... Oh, and this is kind of an "alternate universe" in that I'm only working with what I've seen on the Cartoon Network, (which stops just after Genkai is killed by Toguro), and I'm sort of squashing it together with the Yu Yu Hakusho Movie... So Genkai is dead, (of old age), Puu isn't in the story... (I love the little guy, but I couldn't figure out how to include him in the story, so I left him out), and the Spirit World Tour-guide, Hinageshi isn't here either... And everyone has the same power-levels they had in the Movie... yah.......
Anyway, here's the story, so read on and (hopefuly) have fun!
(And if the story gets a little boring in spots, it's because I didn't know how to put the cool parts together, so please, bare with me, I promise they won't last long...)

Justification for Rating (ie. the way my brain works): For violence, language, adult situations, evil beasties from Hell coming forth to munch on innocent Human-types (in other words, I gave it a high rating to keep the kiddies out, but the over-all content shouldn't be too traumatizing for anybody over the age of fourteen...)

Also, note that anything Hiei says in Japanese (Ningen, Baka, etc.) will be considered as a demon language that Humans Yusuke and Kuwabara don't understand... If you're wondering why, it's because my understanding of Japanese is about as good as my understanding of quantum physics... ie, I diddly-squat.
