I'm back!!!! Hey I hoped whoever is reading this is liking it so far! But you know what sucks? Most people do a search for stories with like....40,000 words at least, so they don't even check out some of the shorter stories that are actually really good .I have been checking out some stories that people are still working on, and man I think there are some really talented writers on fanfiction.net! I mean seriously, if you take the time, you may learn a few tricks on writing a good story, and meanwhile enjoy it and be held in suspense while waiting for the next chapter! My story ABSW has gotten a few reviews like that, and I was so pleased! Wow you know what? I should really cut these Authors Notes short at the beginning, because who really reads them?

Hiei:Certainly not me.

Rain: Why not?

Hiei: Because you are a fool that has me out of character.

Rain: It's a good thing! Usually you hate everyone!

Hiei: Hn, maybe it's because I DO hate everyone!

Rain: Why!?

Chapter 3: The missed battle and the dragon dude!

Yumiko awoke to Kuwabara's frantic screams. She yawned and tapped Hiei on the shoulder. ''Please tell me why Kuwabaka is chattering like a frantic squirrell.''

Hiei kept his eyes forward. ''You just missed his battle with Byakko the White Tiger. He's hanging from a ledge. ''Yumiko grinned. ''Is it a hopeless predicament in which he won't escape with his life?'' Hiei shook his head.

''Afraid not.''Yumiko's smiled faded. She snapped her fingers. ''Well shucks.''

''Hold on tight,we going to jump over to the ledge.'' Yumiko tilted her head. ''What the-?''She had to hold back a squeal as Hiei gave a tremendous jump. Over a pit of lava.Yumiko closed her eyes. ''Hiei, tell me we did not just jump over a lake of lava.'' Kurama jumped after them. ''I'm afraid we did,Yumiko.'' Yumiko grinned at Kurama.He was okay, for a pretty boy that is.

Yusuke followed after Kurama. ''Well Hiei,as soon as we drag Kuwabara up, you can put my cousin down.'' Yumiko stuck her tongue out at Yusuke. ''What if I don't wanna get down, Yusuke? You can't make me.''

Kurama reached down his hand and pulled up a deeply breathing Kuwabara. ''M-man I thought I was a goner!'' Yumiko glared at him. ''Yeah,I thought you were too, but I guess all dreams DON'T come true.'' Kuwabara made a face. ''Shrimp!Why I outta...." Hiei smirked. ''What's wrong Kuwabara,is our friend getting to you?'' Kuwabara stood up straight. ''Shut up, Shorty! Don't make me come over there!" Hiei closed his eyes and turned his head. ''You would be dead before taking two steps.'' Yusuke tried to put on a goofy grin. ''Now come on guys we're working together here!" Kurama nodded. ''Yusuke is right,and there are two more Saint Beasts to worry about.' 'Kuwabara struck a pose. ''Yeah! Bring em on! The mighty Kuwabara will take them down too!"

Yumiko sweatdropped. Then she sighed. ''Why couldn't Byakko have just killed him?'' Yusuke clapped her on the back. ''You know Yumiko, I'm suprised you slept through that. It just proves you can sleep through anything.'' Yumiko raised an eyebrow. ''Really?But still Yusuke, you have me beat.I remember the time you slept through me painting your nails pink and streaking your hair with fuschia.'' Kurama chuckled. ''Oh my.''

Yusuke grumbled. "A day I do NOT want to remember.'' Kuwabara(the baka......lol...lol....) started laughing again. ''Hahaha, Urameshi! You told me it was a dare! I didn't know your cousin messed you up!" Yumiko rolled her head in Kuwabara's direction. '' I really don't feel like coming over there and hurting you so this'll have to do.'' She gave him a double flip off then once again buried her face in Hiei's shoulder. ''Must.. sleep...'' Kuwabara started yelling at her and Yusuke and Kurama held him back. ''Why you little! Let go of me Urameshi! She flipped me off! Don't think just cuz you're a girl that you can get away with that!"

Hiei jumped over more ledges to the other side of the lava filled room. ''Come on,''he stated,''we don't have all day.'' Yumiko set her face on Hiei's shoulder and leaned her head on his. Hiei blushed. ''Say Hiei, what kind of a demon ARE you?'' Hiei composed himself quickly. ''I'm a fire koorime.'' ''Oh, ok.'' Yumiko answered. ''Hey Hiei?''

''Hn?'' ''Are you sure you don't wanna put me down?''

''Hn,I'm fine.'' ''Will I have to fight?'' ''Probably not.''

Yumiko felt really comfortable being carried around by Hiei. He was strong, and quick, and handsome... wow, she just had the strange urge to kiss him! Eep! Wait a minute! This was a demon we were talking about! He wouldn't want anything to do with a little ningen onna!

Yumiko sighed. Oh well, she could dream. Then again, he WAS carrying her around.....A lot....

Hiei meanwhile was having a lot of weird thoughts too!'Hmmm, this is a strange ningen.. she's as fast as I am.. with a bit of training, she could be as powerful as Urameshi. We could always have Genkai train her, she'd proabaly make a much better student anyways.That Urameshi has a one-track mind.She's very pretty too...wait!Ahh!This is a ningen! I should be having nothing to do with her! I'll be having my revenge on that detective soon enough, and I doubt she'd like me very much after that...wait! Why do I care!?AHHH! Being around humans has made me weak!'Thoughts rushed through Hiei's mind at an incredible speed.

Everyone walked for maybe five minutes,and then started to get chills.''Is it cold in here or is it just me?''Yumiko asked.Yusuke shivered.''Nope.N-n-nah Not just you.''Kuwabara had an icicle hanging from his nose.

''B-b-brrrr!It's cold!"Yumiko slid down from Hiei's back,sad to be away from the warmth,but hey, she needed to stretch her legs, they were falling asleep.

She suddenly felt warmer as Hiei took off his cloak and place it around her shoulders.

Yumiko smiled greatfully at him.''Thanks.''Yumiko blushed and looked down.She looked up again to see a strange looking man blocking the way.He...he had blue skin!AHHH!Totally weird!''I am Seriyu,the Blue Dragon.''

(Is it blue dragon or white dragon?I forget! >.<,)

Hiei stepped forward.''An ice user?Let's see how good you really are.'' Yumiko looked at Hiei. He looked truly happy.Not smiling or anything, but just the way he was.

Seriyu stepped forward.''Lets make this a little more interesting.If you win,you go forward.If I win,you may leave with your lives...but I get the girl..'' Yumiko flushed.''What am I!?A door prize!!!???"Hiei frowned.

''You'll not touch her.''Seriyu laughed.''Oh,I did not realize she was taken.''Hiei growled.''You'll pay for that!"

Hiei jumped forward with his sword,but Seriyu started

blowing ice.Hiei jumped away.Everything Seriyu's ice touched froze.Hiei started to jump away again,but Seriyu's ice touched his leg.''No more running now!''

Hiei managed to move forward,but Seriyu froze his arm.

Hiei laughed,and clenched his fist,breaking the ice.

Seriyu gasped,and then Hiei did the same with his leg.

''Some ice user you are.Now you die.''Hiei slashed at Seriyu with his katana,instantly killing him.Yumiko ran and hugged Hiei.''Yea!I don't have to stay with the ugly guy!"She let go of Hiei.Yusuke was snickering,Kuwabaka was pointing,and Kurama was staring with a bemused look on his face.Yumiko looked up at Hiei who was glaring at the rest of them.''If you have something to say,say it!"He pointed his katana at them and instantly Yusuke and Kuwabara shut up.Hiei turned around and walked off muttering.Yumiko sighed,she hoped she hadn't done anything wrong.

As each walked away,they came upon an outside pathway,leading to a tower.Suddenly,a bunch of humanoid creatures came filing out from every way.Yumiko and Hiei pulled out their swords.''How many are there!?''Yumiko yelled.Hiei started cutting through them.Kurama started slicing them with his rose whip.''These are cultivated humans,they feel no pain or fear!Demons grow them in the fields!"Yumiko smiled and hacked one in two.''Just a bunch of veggie heads!"

Yumiko was having a great time slicing through them,until Hiei yelled,''Yumiko!"She looked behind herself just in time to see five about to pounce on her.

She was frozen.She closed her eyes,waiting for impact.

But it never came.She opened her eyes to see Hiei standing in front of her,and the five veggie heads on the ground.''Thanks,Hiei....''she said quietly.

All he replied was,''Hn.''while walking away,but the look in his eyes clearly said,your welcome.

Hiei: What's the big deal?

Rain: The big deal is that its the third chapter and when I make it to the third chapter I'm absolutely positive that I'll continue the story!

Hiei: OHHHHHHHH....

Rain: Yep,and I know exactly what the next chapter will be called!

Hiei:Whats that?

Rain:''Hiei and Yumiko get it on!"

Hiei: 0.o;

Rain: I'm just kidding!Its actually going to be,
