Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ Sorrow ❯ Rage ( Chapter 2 )
WFW: Sorry I haven't updated for a while, it has been hectic with all the damn finals that I have to take. *Mumbles about honors courses mom is making me take*
Hiei: She's is waaay too stressed. Stress isn't good for your health, you know that?
Kurama: Finals are not that bad, WFW.
WFW: Kurama, I resent that. Just because you are the basic over-achiever, doesn't mean the rest of us are. And I would appreciate it if you would not talk to me about school anymore.
Kurama: Yes, Ma'am.
WFW: *Sigh* Too much stress with school and family has really fucked up my `creative energy', as my friend Alex would put it. Kuronue, you tell them about it.
Kuronue: Okay. As you know, YOU are coming after me because I've been a bad boy. *Evil, sarcastic grin* And it is YOUR job to take care of the chaos that I have caused. This should be a good chapter. Did you want to say thanks, or would you like me to do it?
WFW: I'll do it. Now then, I really must thank Kitsune Gurl, it really means a lot that you are putting me in your favorites. I really don't think that I'm worthy of that, but it was definitely the confidence boost that I needed. Thank you so much! I hope that you like this one as much as the other, as it is written especially for you. *Wink*
I would also like to thank:
Carbuncle_Ruby: Thank you as well. Glad that you enjoyed it.
Kurama13: Thanks for the rating. I'm pleased that it held your attention!
P.S. There will be some graphic violence due to my bad day today. It may be…painful for some of the delicate flowers out there. If you think that this may offend you in any way, shape, or form, then please skim over it.
Sorrow
Chapter Two: Rage
You stood in the corner of Kurama's living room, very aware that everybody was staring at you, but you just kept your eyes down. You were trying for all your worth to remember what had happened in your past life. "What was my name?" You finally spoke after a long time of hushed calm, making everybody except Hiei jump at your unexpected question.
"It was Kalli. You were orphaned and nameless, as time went on and you started stealing to survive, your love of the darkness, of killing, made the people name you that. It means `Dark Goddess'." Koenma stated dismally.
"Kalli? Hmmm, if I really am this `Dark Goddess', shouldn't I be able to remember what I did and everything else that happened when I used to be alive?" You spoke more to yourself than anybody in the room, but that didn't stop them from answering your question.
"Aiko, Kalli, Whatever your name is, just give it time." You instantly identified the dull, brainless voice as that of Kuwabara and turned your harsh gaze to him.
"Give it time? You mean be patient?" You snapped, and he quailed under your stare. He nodded slowly, "Well unfortunately, being patient is not one of my greatest fortes." You hissed. This was not the time to tell you what to do. You wanted to figure out why you were so special to Kuroune and you were not going to stand for some dim-witted twit that was terrified of you telling you to calm down and take it slow.
"I should tell you-here and now-that I never agree with the baka over there, but this time he is right." Hiei's voice sounded from his shadowed corner. You turned to him, waiting for him to finish what you already knew was coming. You nodded to let him know that you were actually listening to him.
"It will take time for your memories to come back." This time it was not Hiei who spoke, it was Kurama.
"For all the good this is going to do you, all of you should keep your mouths shut and let me do this my way." You snapped, striding over to the door and wrenching it open. "I'll let you know when I'm ready to talk to all of you again-if I decide to." And with that you were out the door and walking down the stairs. "This was just one of those days…….." You sighed as you continued to walk down the middle of the road.
"Hey sweetheart, have you ever heard it's dangerous to walk in the middle of the road?" Some guy asked you as he pulled up next to you.
"Yes, but does it look like I really give a shit?" You hissed at the intrusion to your thoughts.
"You would be safer inside my car." He stated.
"Again, I reiterate, does it really look like I give a shit?" You questioned him as you continued to wander down the road. `This guy is a persistent bastard.' You thought to yourself as you shook your head.
"Hey Honey, I'm just looking out for your best interest." The guy said.
"By `my best interest', you mean you are looking for a quick piece of ass." You finally stopped in your tracks and looked at him through the window. He gave you a rueful grin. "Well, go bother another person. You are not going to touch me. If you do, you will seriously regret it-I promise you that."
"Get in the damn car."
"Piss off, Asshole. I am doing no such thing." You spat at him.
"Look, I'll even open the door for you." He started to open his door.
"No need, I'm not going with you." You turned on your heel and started to walk away from the bastard again.
"Come on Baby, please?"
"I think that she made herself clear about fifteen minutes ago." A sharp voice hissed behind you. you closed your eyes and sighed in exasperation.
"Do you people ever give up?" You snapped.
"Hell no!" An equally familiar voice sounded, and you felt an arm snake its way around your neck.
"Yusuke, get your arm off of me."
"Who the hell are you guys?" The guy in the car snapped.
"We," A dignified voice said, "Are her friends."
"Friends?" You were confused. You had never in your life had a friend.
"Yes, your friends." Kurama stated as he turned his cold green eyes on you, they softened.
Yusuke, his arm still around your neck, winked at you. "Do you really think we would let you walk home alone?"
"I expected it, yeah." You hung your head.
"Hey! We were having a good conversation. Now leave us alone. Doll-face, get in the car."
Everybody looked at the man in the arrest-me-red car and glared.
"Do you really want me that bad?" You asked seductively. You had a feeling that you used to use your looks to get what you wanted, and you had the feeling that you got what you wanted. Right now, you wanted this bastard far away from you. You walked to the door of his car and leaned on it.
"Yes." He looked up at you with lust-filled eyes.
"Hmmm." Your eyes scanned the car's interior. There you saw it, a silver-bladed knife on the passenger's seat. You leaned in the car and locked lips with the pervert, while you put a hand on the seat next to him, your fingers curling around the hilt of the deadly metallic blade.
"See? That wasn't so bad, was it?" The man asked audaciously as you pulled away from the kiss.
"No. But this is about to get a whole lot worse for you."
"What could be worse than that kiss?" He asked you.
"Wrong meaning of `worse'." You held up the knife. Fear flickered inside your victim's eyes. You cocked your head. "You leaned inside the car again, placing the blade between your teeth, you unzipped his pants.
"Umm, Aiko? Is this really necessary?" Yusuke asked you, apparently aware of what you were about to do.
With one had pinning your victim's, you took the blade from your mouth. "If you are a guy, and particularly attached to your manhood, I would leave." You turned to look at the men behind you.
Yusuke cringed, but stood riveted to the spot, as did the others.
"What are you going to do to him?" Kuwabara asked dumbly, apparently his brawn made up for his lack of brains.
"I am going to slice off his balls." You said with a small shrug as you turned back to the man in the car, his eyes wide with fear.
"GROSS!!! I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO THAT!!!!!" Kuwabara screeched.
"Kuwabara," You snapped, your voice deadly quite. "If you do not shut the hell up, you will be next on the list." Your deathly calm words silenced the screaming idiot in the blink of an eye. "Thank you."
"Please, I like my balls where they are!" The man pleaded.
"Aww," You cocked your head, looking at him with fierce eyes. "That is too bad. You should have thought about that before you decided to hit on me. Now, I am going to give you a permanent sex change." With that, you slid the cold blade across his most cherished possession, drawing a thin line of crimson blood that gushed over his legs, pants, and car seat. There was an anguished scream that resonated through the streets.
"MY GOD!!!!" He yelled at the top of his lungs as his manhood was sliced off in one fluid motion. You let his hands drop from your vice-like grip, and they instantly flew to cup the aching void space.
"Do you want me now?" You asked as you drew the blade across the man's shirt, ridding its metallic surface of the crimson liquid.
"No!!!" He shook his head. You stood up and brandished the knife at him.
"Do not go to the police. If you do, I will hunt you down and you will lose a whole lot more than just your balls. Got it?" Your eyes flashed with the promise of carrying out the guarantee.
The man nodded his head in understanding.
"Then get out of here." You jerked your head.
The man slammed his foot down on the accelerator and zoomed away from you, positive that the semi-bloody girl in his rear-view mirror was a homicidal psychopath.
"THAT WAS FUCKING NASTY!!!!" Kuwabara's ignorant voice screeched. You rolled your eyes as you turned to him, the knife hanging limply in your fingers. "GUYS, ARE WE SURE THAT WE WANT A BALL-SLICING, BLOODTHIRSTY, HOMOCIDAL, PSYCOPATHIC SCARY GIRL ON OUR TEAM?!?!?"
"Kuwabara, shut your face." You hissed, throwing the knife so that it landed blade-down in the soft grass at his feet. You felt everybody's eyes on you, and you turned to look at every single one of them. As your eyes grazed over them, you could see and feel them cringe. Your eyes found Hiei, and glared, daring him to say something that would trigger your angry sarcasm. He said nothing, he only stared.
"Umm," Yusuke's voice startled you out of your staring match with Hiei. You turned to look at him again. "Are you going to be okay walking home alone?"
"Hmm." You turned on your heel and started to walk down the street again.
"What happened?" Botan's cheery voice announced her and Koenma's presence.
"Whatever her name is," Kuwabara stated in a fearful whisper, "She just cut some guys balls off."
"He was harassing her, and she finally snapped." Kurama's dignified voice sounded. You weren't far enough away that you couldn't hear them.
"He had been bothering me for the past twenty minutes, and he refused to take a hint. I made him get it, and he won't easily forget the lesson!" You yelled at Botan and Koenma, turning to look up the street at them.
"Well, I'd say that you figured out what Kalli used to do to her victims-the hard way." Koenma sighed as he told the group this.
"Where are you going to go?" You had started walking down the road again when you heard Hiei behind you.
"What's it to you?" You continued to walk, not looking up from the pavement.
He didn't say anything, he just walked by your side.
"Hey! Hiei! Aiko!" Yusuke yelled behind you. You slowed down slightly, but didn't stop walking.
"What do you want?" Hiei snapped.
`Hmm, what's with him?' You pondered, "I thought that he didn't like me…'
"Hiei calm down. Do you really think that we all were just going to let Aiko walk home all alone?" Kurama's calm voice appeared at your side.
"I promise. I can really walk home all by myself. I am a big girl, you know?" You usually cutting voice was muted and grateful. You had never had anybody that stood up for you, and this felt nice-to be around people that were willing to fight for you.
"We know you can take care of your self, we just witnessed that!" Kuwabara's voice sounded as though he really would rather be anywhere but at your side, but fear kept him there.
"If you want, Kuwabara," You started, your voice was calm, but you were no less direct with the moron. "You can go away. I know you don't want to be here."

WFW: Ok, I know it is short-but I have had it up to my eyeballs with just about everything. I'm sorry if it sucks, I wrote this in a hurry. But I am now out of school now. (NO MORE FINALS!!!! YIPPIE!!!) So updates should be more frequent. I'm sorry for keeping you all waiting, but I had writer's block and had to study for the yucky finals. But the next chapter should come out more quickly. Oh, and sorry for the abrupt ending-I ran out of things to say….
