The meal was ready and Kori barley recognized the food. She had touched her food, but was told "not to play with it," by Keiko. She was trying to figure out what the hell the food was, not play with it. Why would you play with your food anyway? Wouldn't that be a waste?
Yoko was doing the same thing, obviously he had no clue what it as either. Although he had been told at least thirty times "not to play with it," he was not stopping. And about thirty seconds later, he was climing into Kori's lap and resting his head against her chest. He started to suck his thumb, which he had discovered thirty minutes ago, and twirl her hair around his fingers.
"Something wrong?" Yukina asked.
"Umm, yeah. We don't know this is," Kori replied, and Yoko yanked her hair as if he wanted her to say more. Then she stated, "And I don't think we want too."
"Well, you're gonna have to feed him," Kuwabara replied.
"I believe I know that, but- oh, never mind," Kori muttered. "I guess I can make something, let's hope without blowing up the kitchen.
She stood up, with Yoko still attached to her, and left the dining room.

Kori had never really cooked much in her life, and thats emarrasing to say when your one thousand fifteen years old. She had caught fish in Makai and placed it over a fire, but that really wasn't cooking, was it? Usually she would just steal the food.
But she had learned a few things from watchng people. And she hadn't blown up the kitchen, yet. Which was a miracle. And while she was cutting up an apple she had found, Yoko had taken to digging threw her bag, which he had dragged into the kitchen.
"Here, eat," she stated, handing the plate to Yoko. And he did, and he seemed to enjoy it, while Kori went to stuffing some of the things that Yoko had tossed out during his dig.
After she was done, Kori sat down and rested her head on her arms. "I'm not going to survive another day of this, and the damn first day is not even over yet."
Yoko tapped her arm and Kori looked up. He smiled and offered her a piece of the apple. "Thanks, but no thanks, Yoko," Kori replyed. "You should eat that though." He frowned and in a second he had shoved the apple in her mouth and a flash went off. Kori chewed the apple quickly and grabbed the knife that was on the counter.
Now that last flash was a challenge! And Yuske and Kuwabara do not stand a chance against a seven foot kitsune with an anger problem and an attitude.
